A boat juts out of dry land and graves in Manila North Cemetery, its called "MV Last Voyage." Maosoleum of the colorful "Admiral" Tomas Cloma (1904-1996) owner of the Philippine Maritime Institute, now PMI Colleges, who entered history when he "discovered" a group of islands in the South China Sea, claimed them, and declared to the world that these were "The Free Territory of Freedomland." These constitute part of the contested Spartly islands. Imprisoned during the Marcos years he allegedly ceded his claim to Freedomland to the Philippine Government for one peso.
