The Last Sentimental
Everything seems worthy of keeping
Magnolia leaf poetry might last
Pine needle anklets -never trash
Chemistry could be handy one day
Even the rock collection seems right
But one day I saw it in a different way
She made the present feel like peace
After a while, the future seemed alight
Meeting the last sentimental as such
Her presence was founded in balance
Committed to a life of tug and war, and
Slowly the dead weight seemed to lapse
In love with a promise of leaving the past

Helpless – Guest Poetry by Kyle
A dream of petals, rosy soft respite
Dismounting from the bloom of twisted truth;
Within, my light to shine its shielded sight
To yield its whitened flower, push its ruth
My light does grow as evil sneaks and lurks
First warm and bright, yet brighter even still
Til gentle hum goes violent, berserk
And lights to flame, and bends in sharpest trill
Cannot withhold the hungry scythe in sheath,
The frenzy beckoned thus by rising fiend
To injure yokes of lies, now twisted wreath
Around your neck, to blood-let...

Three Step
Witness death before our eyes
Pleiades dance in darkened skies
The mighty tremble under visceral truth
We trip through unscathed, without proof
Troublesome Trio in twilight’s aura
Silken elegance steals heaven’s sorrow
Nevermind the weary, nearsighted fright
Our dance will outshine the pitch black night
Prompted by the always lovely, Lisa, my ultimate duet partner.

Music Theme – Jealousy And…
Bear decided to go ‘ten commandments’ this week. Jealousy and a word that essentially means that you want your neighbor’s boat, “covetousness”, is the theme. Like pretty much everyone, there are a few things that can trigger my jealousy. It is more of an impulse for me, something fleeting usually.
Sometimes a little jealousy is good for igniting passion in a relationship.
…or it might make it worse…
I don’t want my neighbor’s boat or his wife or really anything he has. It seems pointless to spen...

Ever I kiss you

Conspire with my will
I know that you are laughing
Longing for the kill

Loveless
Lonnie G sat in his used car lot on Valentine’s day looking around at all the fortune life had granted him. He especially eyed the cherry red Camaro on the spinster. All he could think was “That’s a nice goddamn car.”

Only we understand
Vulnerable feelings
handed over with trust
Remembered dalliances
Unquenchably combust
With allure and healing
Love is the danger of the unknown

Secret Underground True Hearts Day

Anyone wanna go for a ride?

I dont celebrate commercial holidays. The damn bankers are out committing mass genocide for profit. Why would I give my money to them?
Talk about IRONY. The day we celebrate love, St. Valentine was killing people.
I choose to love every day.
Me, Johnny and BB are riding unicorns instead.

The Teacup – From “The Watch”
I’ve a broad platter full of many choices
My daily bread, or maybe my daily vice
I may fill it to overflowing with my fears
I may also serve all of my life’s delights
Most often it is filled with wild fancies
May my shelter remain in a dry state
Will my children be clothed yet again
No matter what I am served this day
There is sure to be a vacancy for you
For I have not a fear of losing my love
No fruit in season for fear without her
A simple task, scraping away the sour
When morning comes I place her as...
