A dream of petals, rosy soft respite

Dismounting from the bloom of twisted truth;

Within, my light to shine its shielded sight

To yield its whitened flower, push its ruth


My light does grow as evil sneaks and lurks

First warm and bright, yet brighter even still

Til gentle hum goes violent, berserk

And lights to flame, and bends in sharpest trill


Cannot withhold the hungry scythe in sheath,

The frenzy beckoned thus by rising fiend

To injure yokes of lies, now twisted wreath

Around your neck, to blood-let...
