Beguiled

image

Stone cold skinny spines are bent
A sliver of truth to easily supplant
Open eyes and occupied opulence

Obtusely judicious, all so delicious
Vocal cord vibrating the voluptuous
Listen loosely to a beguiled chorus

Shifting the shady out of shadows
A man feeding within his own flock
Words as whispers in wait wander

Drawn in by depressions and dips
Another girl is taken by his elation
Empathy as idolatry, if only isolated

Yes, you are the sir so willing to imply
And so she will be the soul ensla...

So Goes Friday

broken-bulb_00118578

The lights and this big love

Buried between dreams and lust

Imagination like the harmony

Banging against my wishes

Promising her pilfered affection

Knock the lamp over

Leave the pieces for later

And so goes Friday

Heyday

image

“Never look back”, they say with gusto
Unless you’re taking notes
For what’s ahead

There was no heyday
Nothing better, just old
The same desperation
Identical sour notes

“Look ahead”, they assure us
Though it’s invisible
Just your fiction outlined

There is no heyday
Nothing better, just more
The same shade of hope
New instruments, same notes

The Memory

image

As if he loses his sense
An open mouth becomes
Becomes the crime
The invincible tongue
He always remembers
Lover turned intruder
Her prince, the usurper

And so his sense returns
Closed mouth humming
Humming the apologies
Culling no formality
Running to the remedy
Embracing his reality

My Curiosity of Love

image

Would you know if it was really love?
How would you make it last?
Will it bloom over a few days?
Is it going to wilt?
Will it be a flower?
Will it be the bush?
Do you need it?
Will you still be lonely in love?
Can another complete you?

I am curious. To see such a frantic search for a thing that happens by accident but stays by sacrifice makes me wonder. It must have become like food; something we must have in order to live. Love will never be such. You may find it in your search, and you may...

Sir, The Businessman

ComeInWereFailing-01

Me: Excuse me, sir, you’re on fire.

Sir: My dream is to be very rich. Since I don’t wantto pay people, I’m going to do it all by myself.

Me: But you’re on fire.

Sir: Fuck it, I’m going to do it myself, unless you got some free time.

Me: But I already gave you all of my free time, and you are on fire.

Sir: My reputation…

Me: …

Sir: I’ll be rich and all the haters will be like, damn he’s rich.

Me: Shall I call a fire squad?

Sir: You got any free time?

Light Shines

LightShiningThrough

I see the shadow drifting aside. I feel the people standing next to me that I haven’t seen for so long. I almost forgot they were here with me. The shadow grew so tall that everything else paled in its darkness. It is sliding, gliding aside.

I fed the shadow to save it. I gave it every kind of energy I have to give, only to watch it overcome my gifts to you. My creations withered without daylight, petals dropped from lack of sunshine, roots became stringy and then dormant. I traded my life f...

Storyteller

cc031

Staring the thing won’t make it real

Stealing her goods won’t make it heal

Honesty played out can’t close the deal

Dreaming won’t bring down the cost

Dragging her in won’t get you across

That forked tongue of yours got you lost

Quit standing with your mouth agape

Implicating her in your botched escape

Words bent in your unnatural shape
