Release Day | The Ruby Tooth
It’s release day!!! The Ruby Tooth is released today, and it just so happens that there is a holiday sale over at JMS Books, so you can grab it for 40% off
I’m sure many of you are too busy today to read blogs, I know I am – when this post goes live, I’m at a birthday party since my sister knows nothing about planning babies. She had her first daughter on the 25th of December and her second on the 22nd – such a newbie mistake! I did much better and had my first on December 9th and my fourth ...

Guest Post | The Santa Emergency by Nell Iris
Today, the lovely Nell Iris is with us to talk about her story, The Santa Emergency, which will be released tomorrow. I’m so glad Nell is talking about glögg! This year, I made my own. Picked lingonberries and boiled with all the spices. Then I went a bit overboard as I tend to do at times, and made apple glögg (pretty nice) and chokeberry glögg (too sweet, but hubby added some vodka to it and then it turned just fine. He’s resourceful, my man )
And now that Nell has got me talking glögg – So...

Guest Post | A Midwinter Night’s Magic by Ellie Thomas
Ellie Thomas is back on the blog, this time to talk about her story, A Midwinter Night’s Magic. Welcome, Ellie!
Thank you so much, lovely Ofelia, for having me as your guest today! I’m Ellie Thomas, and I write Historical Gay Romance. In this blog, I’ll be chatting about A Midwinter Night’s Magic, my story for JMS Books’ Christmas submissions call.
While I was deciding whether to pick either the Naughty or Nice option for my seasonal story, for some reason, the impishly naughty Puck, from Shake...

Guest Post | Trust with Glittering Eyes by K.S. Murphy
Today, K.S. Murphy is on a visit to talk about their story, Trust with Glittering Eyes. Welcome!
Happy Winter Solstice, everyone! And thank you, Ofelia, for having me! I’m here today to talk a little about my recent release, “Trust with Glittering Eyes”, the Yuletide follow-up to “Watch with Glittering Eyes”.
When we last left Travis and Niko, the witch and cat-familiar had come face-to-face with the insidious shade haunting the White Stag Inn, miraculously survived the ordeal in one piece, an...

Guest Post | Tonight and Every Night by Mere Rain
Today fellow JMS Books writer, Mere Rain, is on a visit. Welcome, Mere!
My first attempt at writing romance was a gay holiday paranormal.
An author for whom I’d done some non-fiction editing said that she also wrote romance, and would I be willing to proof-read a holiday story anthology. The authors involved had a chat group, and they were all friendly and fun and encouraged me to try writing in the genre myself.
I didn’t finish that first Christmas story — romance is harder than it looks! — bu...

Guest Post | Sugarplums and Sailing Ships by K.L. Noone
Hello again—K.L. Noone popping in to chat about holidays, baking shows, and crossover stories! And thank you to the awesome Ofelia for letting me drop in! It’s always a pleasure.
I wanted to share my new release, “Sugarplums and Sailing Ships,” with you—out now from JMS Books! on sale for 20% off!—it’s a holiday-ish story, and one that just simply makes me happy.
“Sugarplums” is roughly 16k of m/m established romance crossover fluff, with two main couples from two of my series meeting! We get N...

Guest Post | Holiday Garage by Jaymie Wagner
Today, Jaymie Wagner is here to talk about her story, Holiday Garage. Welcome, Jaymie
That was the question on Tumblr that got me thinking, and eventually writing back in 2019. We did finally get a lesbian Hallmark movie last year, but we can do more!
Besides, we all know those cheesy Hallmark plots are a goldmine of cute, feel-good holiday content that is just waiting to be tapped and turned into all kinds of queer goodness.
So, picture this: A lonel...

Guest Post | A Christmas Exchange by A.J. Morrow
Today, A.J. Morrow is on a visit to talk about her upcoming release, A Christmas Exchange which will be released tomorrow! Welcome, A.J.
Christmas is often a time of contradictions; the cold and dark of winter is contrasted against hot chocolate and lights, while we celebrate family and the spirit of giving as we indulge head first into consumerism. Personally, I think the dual message of the holiday is part of its beauty. Warm mulled wine tastes better when you’re cold, after all.
Part of what...

Guest Post | Holiday Quartet by Pat Henshaw
Pat Henshaw is back! Today, she’ll tell us about Holiday Quartet. Welcome, Pat
A Little Bit of Background for the Stories in Holiday Quartet
Blame It on the Fruitcake: Making fruitcake for the holidays was something my paternal grandmother did every year. I grew up with two Christmas tastes in my mouth. The cloying yuckiness of eggnog, which was a one yearly sip and walk away from the cup. The boozy, sweet goodness of fruitcake. So when I decided to write my first holiday short story, my first...

Guest Post | How to Cheat at Dirty Santa by Amy Spector
Today, Amy Spector is on the blog to talk about How to Cheat at Dirty Santa, which I had the privilege to read even before it was out
Welcome, Amy!
A big thank you to Ofelia for letting me take over her blog today!
Today is release day for my very first Christmas book!
I love Christmas. The more decoration a holiday requires, the better. And, of course, with school-age children, and a near addiction to shopping that I rarely get to indulge, Christmas is the perfect storm of awesome! So, it’s a...
