More than sugar & spice
I know it may seem like I only write naughty books. That’s only partially true. I actually have written a book that is near and dear to my heart titled “My Time is Yours”. It’s not your typical book, I will admit. It brings tears of sadness & tears of joy throughout the pages. It shines a light on the world of autism (and other similar special needs), in a realistic sense. I have plenty of experience with autism, since my middle son is autistic. 
The war has begun
What happens when two veterans, who are both fighting their demons, hook up? Does the fire between them fuel the intimacy? Or does it leave all bridges burned?

“Hey,” I heard a raspy deep voice from behind me say. I turned around and saw the mystery man standing behind me. I smiled politely.
“Hey.”
“Can I treat you to this round,” he said gesturing at the coffee machines in front of us. I wasn’t expecting him to ever speak, let alone to me, “Maybe sit down and get to know one another better?” He was stuttering over his own words.
“Sorry, I can’t, but…” I began to say
“Shallow bitch,” he snarled, “Just because I have a disability, you shoot me down,” I looked him from the top of his head down to his…. prosthetic leg. I had seen it before with its decorative American flag and eagle design. I hadn’t seen it as a disability though. The fact that he thought I did was insulting. I’ve been called a lot of things in my life, but never shallow.
“Your…”
“Think just because I have a fake leg that I’m less of a man!” He was now drawing attention from those in the coffee shop. They were staring in horror at us. I finally had enough.
“Your disability had nothing to do with why,” he seemed surprised by the words that flew out of my lips harshly. “In fact, your ‘leg’,” I said throwing up air quotation marks, “makes you more man than all the men in here! Now if you excuse me, I need to get to work,” I stormed out of there before he could get another word in edgewise.

“Come here, Aughbreigh,” he said gesturing me towards him. Without thought, I walked towards him. He grabbed me from behind my knees and pulled me against his face. His face now rested on my stomach, “Thank you.”
“What? A thank you from Mr. Timmons,” he laughed against me. I couldn’t help but wrap my arms around him. He looked up at me and grinned.
“Don’t tell Martin,” I raised an eyebrow, “Jim.”
“Oh. That’s right, you two are good friends.”
“You can say that,” he moved fast and I was now sitting on his lap.
“Smooth. Real smooth,” I laughed. He laid his head on my shoulder and gently kissed my neck. I wanted to swoon right then, “Like this with all the ladies,” I asked laughing. He sat up quickly and looked me in the eye.
“No,” he was angry by my words. If looks could kill, I would have died on the spot.
“Sorry,” I said holding up my hands in surrender. He growled under his breath and sat me on the couch next to him. Me and my big mouth, “I was just teasing.”
“No, you weren’t,” he said facing forward, “I have enough stereotypes about me without someone thinking I’m a pervert or some shit.” I stood up and made my way back towards my room, “Sure walk away, everyone else does,” I stopped walking and faced him.
“First of fucking all, I’m not like everyone else. Seconds of all, I need some god damn clothes. So, if you can manage, stay the hell where you are until I return,” I slammed my bedroom door.

Prepare yourselves!
In just two days, something great…No. Something magnificent is gracing the social media world known as Facebook. “My Fated Valentine” cover reveal! This event will take place over a course of 7 days. Starting October 18 @ 9AM CDT and going all the way until October 25 @ 10 PM CDT. My personal time for the reveal of my cover is October 22 @ 5PM CDT. I cannot wait to reveal. It has been hard to remain in hiding because the cover is so amazing. No, really. The lovely lady, who designs my covers, is so talented. Her creations are mind-blowing.

A Must Read…
I know that most authors are selfish and only want to tell the world about their books. Well, that isn’t me. I am all for shining the light on other authors and their talents. The author I’d like to shine light on, today, is Amanda Kimberley. I just finished reading Forever Friends and…WOW! Just WOW! [image error]
She is so talented! Her book pulled me in. She does multiple POV (Points of view), in this book, and I was able to picture each character. It was amazing. The backstories of each character was in depth but not to the point of skimming over or snoring. The backstories even have historical facts in it! She definitely did her research, while writing this book!
Now, let’s talk about these characters of hers! (Sorry for all the exclamation points, but I am super excited to share this book with you all) There is a serious bad guy named Alec, who loses his shit when his lover dies. Then he begins wreaking havoc, in a sense, searching for the one he blames, Raine. So many climaxes throughout the book waiting to see if Alec can track down Raine and his lover, Skye. The book had me on the edge of my seat.
Then there is Morgan, who is the definition of extreme PMS. Love her character. Zhan, the wise one, who you can’t tell whose side he is on. Then Keme…..Keme. Well, I’ll let you get your own opinion of him.
