Hi! I have been in love with the Darkest Powers series for a really long time, since before The Reckoning came out or the Darkness Rising series was even a thing! I just have to say, I have read these books about 20 times each, and they never get old. I us
The last thing I did with them was Atoning, an ebook novella the year before last. No plans right now for anything new, but you never know!

Hi! I've been a fan of your Otherworld-series for years, and I have a question regarding Frostbitten. When I first bought it I got the hardcover as I couldn't stand to wait for the paperback. Sadly it ended up being my only hc in the series, and I'd like t
Oooh, you know, I don’t think it was. I switched publishers between Frostbitten and Waking the Witch, and I think that’s also when my former publisher decided to start reworking my covers, starting with the paperback for Frostbitten.

Betrayals cover & excerpt!
Cover & excerpt for Betrayals (Cainsville 4)! This is the North American cover. We have a Cŵn Annwn hound out of shadow this time, which is appropriate, as one joins the cast in this book and gets an actual name :) As for the excerpt, it’s the first four chapters and I’m only leaving it up until 9 AM Eastern tomorrow, because its precopyedits, which means my publishers may prefer me to wait and use the error-free version for the permanent excerpt :)
The excerpt is here.
The book will be out in August. It’s the penultimate Cainsville novel–i.e. second-to-last
Let’s celebrate with a contest for a spot on the ARC list. To enter, e-mail contest@kelleyarmstrong.com & tell me what Liv got for her tattoo in Deceptions. Contest closes Friday at midnight eastern. One correct entry will be drawn at random & the winner notified by Monday. I expect it’ll be April before I see the advance copies, but the winner will be on the list!

Forest of Ruin UK cover!
Got a UK cover for Forest of Ruin! You’ll see that below. This is the third–and final–book in the Age of Legends trilogy. It comes out in early April, but I still have a few ARCs, so let’s give a couple away. And if you haven’t started this trilogy, I’ll give away a copy of the first book–Sea of Shadows–as well.
To enter for one of two advance copies of Forest of Ruin, e-mail contest@kelleyarmstrong.com & answer this question: at the end of Empire of Night, what does the emperor tell Moria when she returns after her escape? I don’t need exact wording–just the general idea.
To enter for one paperback of Sea of Shadows, e-mail contest@kelleyarmstrong.com & answer this question (which you can get from the book description!): twin sisters narrate this trilogy. What are their names?
Contests close Friday, Feb 12 at midnight.

I had heard you talk at a convention I went to, a while back, and you had said That the werewolves were the only thing sold to the tv show? But season 2 had witches?
I was told they only wanted to do the werewolves. Throughout season one, when asked about my other characters, they said no, it’d be werewolves only. And then there were witches in season two. Magic, I guess? LOL But it’s ending with season 3, so other characters definitely won’t appear and the third season won’t be based on any of the novels.
What happens when a werewolf has gone through their first change and they have braces? Do the braces form in the wolf's teeth? Do the braces have to come off? Also what about piercings? Do the earrings disappear or are they in the wolf's ear?
They’re supposed to remove jewelry. Otherwise, it could just get awkward. Not sure about the braces. I suspect they’d need to get that looked after before their first Change or get something removable!
Hey! I love your books, especially darkest powers/darkness rising, and i was wondering if you are ever going to get into the topic of simon, derek, daniel, maya, and ash's mom's?
There’s more Derek & Daniel in Atoning (a novella I did a couple of years ago) Maya and Ash are also in it, but there’s nothing on their mother. I’m not sure they’d be particularly keen to reunite with her, but it might make an interesting story :)
