Spotlight on: Diane Benefiel’s Shot Through the Heart

My fellow Decadent author Diane Benefiel has a new contemporary romantic suspense out, and it’s a doozy. I loved the slowly building romance and the explosive climax. Diane’s heroines are no mere damsels in distress! Best of all, it’s available as an ebook and in print.

Shot Through the Heart About Shot Through the Heart

Rane Smith’s nerves are nearly shot. With her ex-boyfriend, a member of a drug cartel, about to get out of prison, every instinct urges her to run as far away as she can get. But her elderly father...

I’m so excited to be able to offer this fun romantic suspense novel in another format, as I know plenty of readers still preferholding a paper book in their hands. I hope if you haven’t checked out the ebook of Love Unlocked yet, you’ll give the paperback version a try!

Bookworm heaven

A number of friends and even family members of mine have put out books lately. I’ve got to give them shout-outs here (especially since I haven’t gotten around to reading them yet and I’m feeling guilty).

First, my stepmom, Julie, wrote this amazing memoir, titled Gracie’s Tail: Conversations With DoG,Âthat focusses on her relationship with animals and her journey toward a fuller understanding of animal communication. I was privileged to read an early draft, and I can’t wait to read the publish...

Two new babies

I’m so happy to announce the arrival of my son, who was born on his due date, November 5th. The birth was very straightforward–after three weeks of pre-labor pains, a week of being 5cm dilated and nothing happening, my OB broke my water and he was born 1 1/4 hours later! Since then, we’ve been settling in at home. The biggest challenge has been for my 2 and a half year old, who loves his baby brother ( “he’s so tiny!”) but is having a more difficultÂtime appreciating the fact his parents don’...
