Hello, It’s Me Again

But, I’m happy to say that I’ve kept writing and have several manuscripts waiting for me to polish up. It is really freeing to write without a contract or deadline. I’ve been able to weave stories that I’d want to pick up in a bookstore without overthinking them. Are they c...

Change is good (but bad for word count)

Lots of changes going on in my life right now. After ten years living in Los Angeles, my husband and I are packing up and moving clear across the country to southern Connecticut. We’ve been talking about and planning this move for some time, but now that it’s happening, I’ve been so bogged down in the hard physical work of packing up our lives (and our two sons) and the minutia of moving that I’ve lost sight of the excitement of the change and I have, needless to say, not been writing much.

My prolific friend Diane Saxon has another new release, with the unusual title (and premise) of Banshee Seduction. I’ll turn over the blog for her to tell you more about it.

banshee seductionAboutBanshee Seduction

Sweet, shy librarian Ginny has a problem. Whenever passion strikes, so do the weeping, wailing voices in her head. Being half banshee, she’s already run screaming from the underworld and her female relatives, believing love will find a way with patience and faith on planet Earth.

The trouble is, hum...

#Amwriting

I few weeks ago I took an amazing seminar by April Khilstrom about writing a Book in a Week (BIAW). Yikes! Seems impossible, doesn’t it?

Well, I tried it this past week, and was pretty awed by the results. I wrote 24,000 words in a week (about 100 pages). It’s about a third of a book, a new one that I just started. So far it’s fairly different from my other books–it’s in first person and it’s shaping up to be a F/F love story (female/female rather than M/F–male/female).

To do BIAW, I had to c...

Endless Devotion Releases Tuesday

The third and final(?) Weston University novella releases on Tuesday, April 28th. It’s available for pre-order now. I’m kind of amazed that this trio of stories is out in the world. It was so much fun to write and now it’s even more fun hearing from readers what they love about the couples who find themselves thrown back together at the reunion and commencement weekend at Weston.

Endless Devotionis about Katya and Dev, and it’s a little bit different than anything I’ve written before. The cha...
