I’ll be at StoryFest September 10th

StoryFest is the largest literary festival in Connecticut, and happens to be in my backyard. I’m so excited to be appearing on a panel in person called Rebuilding Community After the Apocalypse: Writing Out of the Pandemic. It’s going to be so nice to see writers and readers in person this fall at the beautiful Westport Library. If you are in the area, come by the festival–it’s free!

Possible new headshot?

I got all dressed up for my birthday dinner and this is the result–I kind of love the Central Park/Manhattan skyline background. What do you think?

Libby’s Celebration Guide for 40-year-old Leos

I’m turning 40 this week. It’s kind of been looming over me since last year, not because I don’t embrace my age, but I feel like culturally, it’s still a big one. I’m a Leo, so of course I don’t have a problem celebrating myself! Here are my top 10 favorite ways to celebrate.

1. Pop the bubbly. I’m not a huge drinker, but I do love yummy sparkling wine. It’s always festive, like drinking fairy lights.

2. Put on some music. I have eclectic music tastes, but nothing revs me up for a celebration li...

Steamy Shorts featuring Hot Take is here!

steamy shorts anthology coverSteamy Shorts: A Kissed by Romance Anthology is suddenly, wonderfully live. One of my dear writer friends, Arell Rivers, recently asked if I happened to have a story to release and I had just finished polishing a new short story in the Sawyer’s Cove: The Reboot series. It was fate! I had a blast writing about Erika and Henry and hope you love their story, too.

You might remember Erika from Take Two, the fir...

I’ve wanted to start a Patreon for ages and I’m so excited to finally make it happen! I’m in this for the long haul, so even if we start small, that’s still something. I’d love to have you along for the ride!

xoxo,

Libby

Early Access: Suprise! A new Sawyer’s Cove story!

This has been a quick turnaround, but I’m so delighted that new Sawyer’s Cove content is coming your way in an anthology of steamy short contemporary romance stories. This anthology is only 99 cents for a limited time!

Hot Take is the story of Erika Rainwater, one of the intrepid hosts of The Sawyer’s Cove Rewatch Project Podcast. She goes to the first-ever Sawyer’s Cove convention and crosses paths with Henry Yu, one of the starts of the reboot. Banter, awkward flirting, and embarrassing photo...

Take Two release day!

take two coverTake Two is out today and I couldn’t be more excited to start off the Sawyer’s Cove: The Reboot series with this book. I can’t wait to hear what you think about Jay and Cami’s second chance romance. This book also introduces you to Misty Harbor, the small town setting for all the upcoming Sawyer’s Cove: The Reboot novels.

Misty Harbor is where they shot the (fictional) TV show Sawyer’s Cove over a decade ag...

Dawson’s Creek and Me: The inspiration behind Sawyer’s Cove

January 1998. I was fifteen, a sophomore in high school, and so ready for a show like Dawson’s Creek. I remember its debut well—the breathless columns from pundits who either decried or applauded the show about hyper-verbal teens who actually talked about sex instead of tiptoeing around it.

I instantly identified with Joey Potter and was pretty sure she was my soulmate—okay, my mom wasn’t dead and my dad wasn’t in jail, but I also like...
