“You have repented,” I heard the Holy Spirit speak to my heart. “Now follow through.”

I have such a long history of negativity. I am simply prone to it. A Prayer and Humility Testimony

When I crossed paths with a man and woman who seemed very obviously to be immensely struggling, I felt compelled by the Holy Spirit of God to ask if they would like for me to pray for them.

The man made abundantly clear he did NOT want me to pray for them.

The woman made abundantly clear she DID want me to pray for them.

The man was so emphatically opposed to my praying that he refused to allow them to stop long enough for me to pray.

When It’s NOT Your Assignment

Please do not take on what God does NOT want you to do no matter how wonderful and even godly the opportunity may seem!

No matter what you think or feel about an opportunity, no matter how tempted you may be to say YES, no matter how anyone else may encourage or push or pressure you to take on an opportunity, if God does NOT want you to say YES, then say NO!

If He has made clear an opportunity, assignment, responsibility, etc. is NOT His will for you, do NOT take it on!

I sat on the parking lot curb in the beautiful hot Florida sunshine, a rare treat in the tail end of the winter months, thinking joyfully about a wonderful very little blessing the Lord had given me. Suddenly I exclaimed to the Lord, “The most wonderful is you!”
