Watch Out for Distractions!

So often I hear people talk about distractions and getting distracted.

Long ago the Holy Spirit of God spoke to my heart, “Just because there are distractions doesn’t mean you have to get distracted.”

That was an eye opener for me. I assumed distractions automatically result in being distracted.

Now years later, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, “Watch out for distractions.”

Why? To help me see if I keep my heart and eyes open to distractions, I can choose not to allow myself to get distracted.

Know what the Lord Jesus Christ Jesus says about judging?

“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” James 2:13 NKJV

Know what else Jesus says?

“”Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37 NKJV

What should you and I do?

Stop pridefully and arrogantly judging and condemning others.

What should we do instead?

LOVE!

BE MERCIFUL!

PRAY!

When the Tears Come

“I don’t know how to do this part,” I told the Lord.

I was about to burst into a zillion tears. Some people like to cry and get it all out. I don’t like to cry. Not in public. Not in private. But sometimes I just can’t help myself.

My 7-Year Miraculous Anniversary

Today by God’s grace alone marks 7 years since I set out on the road full-time with my special needs and senior rescued ministry dogs for the Lord Jesus Christ and ministry.

What Are You Doing for Jesus?

Jesus Christ is Lord. He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. He is the only way to a relationship with God on earth and forever in heaven. He is Savior of the world and will reign as Lord of Lords, King of Kings forever.

We are called to love and serve the Lord with all our hearts. Nothing we do can ever measure up to what Jesus has done for us, is doing as He intercedes for God’s people, and for what He will do as forever King.

I was all ears. Ready to hear what I wanted. That I could choose between two things regarding a particular matter. I could choose what I wanted. What felt best and right to me. What was comfortable.
