Came to Serve
I attended a church service some years ago for the homeless whom I dearly love when I decided to stop going to the service because I didn’t like aspects of the service. One day the Lord broke through my pride, self-righteousness, judgment, and selfishness and used this verse to lead me to repentance and send me back to the service to do something altogether surprising which shouldn’t have been surprising in the least. To lovingly and humbly SERVE! Not as an obligation with a bad attitude, but in...
Not Just a Servant
I love, love, love the Lord beyond imagination, and I love to serve Him beyond belief. I can’t imagine nor would I want a day in my life without much opportunity to serve Him given my exceeding ever-growing love for Him. But I have to be careful and so must you if you have a servant’s heart like He has given me.
We who believe in and follow Jesus Christ as Lord need to remember we are not just His servants. We are also His beloved children! And the Lord desires us to enjoy our forever relationsh...

Perfect Patience
The last thing in the world I have is perfect patience! Patience is one of my weak areas when it comes to bearing the fruit of God’s Holy Spirit. But the love of my life has perfect patience and is the most wonderfully perfectly patient person in the universe, and I am so sorry I have taken this for granted for so very long and not expressed my thanksgiving for this truth.
The love of my life, the Lord God almighty, has been unfathomably patient with the world at large and with me personally thr...
Leaving It All Behind
Peter, Andrew, James, and John with their ordinary names were living their seemingly ordinary lives in their seemingly usual ordinary ways when something extraordinary happened. The Lord Jesus Christ came along and called them to follow Him which they immediately did leaving it all behind and becoming His apostles to help build His Kingdom of followers. The Bible shows us their response to Jesus’ call was they left behind their NETS, their SHIP, and their FATHER.
The nets represented their work ...

True Love
I was in my car at a stoplight when the Holy Spirit led me to turn to the last verse of Ephesians 6 in the Bible. I opened the Bible I keep on my car dashboard and tried to get to the verse quickly before the light turned green. I made it in time. The Holy Spirit blessed me with the verse – and inspired and compelled me to write and share a message with you on it.
“Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. To the Ephesians written from Rome, by Tychicus.” Ephesia...
Glory Seekers
The Lord one day gave me the words, “glory giver.” Not long afterward, He gave me the words, “glory seekers.” He gave me a message about my friend the glory giver and how we should strive to ever give Him glory. Then He gave me this verse below and this message about glory seekers. Glory givers continually seek opportunities to give God the glory and do so. Glory seekers seek to bring and give glory to themselves not God. The focus is not on the Lord as it should be for everything good including...
