Choosing to Trust
We can have all the faith in the Lord in the world and get nowhere in our relationship with Him and in life because of what we do when it comes to trust. Just because we believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and in the truth of the Bible doesn’t mean we put our trust in Him and obey Him as far as the Bible is concerned. We need to CHOOSE TO TRUST THE LORD and CHOOSE TO HUMBLE OURSELVES AND IN OUR LOVE FOR HIM OBEY HIM.

Your Mouth on the Battlefield
One day as I was in the midst of a particularly grueling spiritual battle, the Lord made clear His battle plan for me to have victory in that particular battle. He showed me long ago in the Old Testament that He had different battle plans for different battles in times of physical war, and I believe the same is true in spiritual warfare. We need to look to the Lord, to the Bible, pray to Him, seek Him, listen, hear, measure what we hear against the Bible to ensure what we are hearing is from Him...
Oh, God is Near!
The Lord graciously and mercifully teaches us in the Bible that He – God almighty! – is near to those who what? CALL UPON HIM!
“The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.” Psalms 145:18
But note in this marvelously comforting verse that it does not merely say He is near to those who call upon Him. It goes on to say that He is near to those who call upon Him in what? IN TRUTH!
