“You’re down because of what you’re thinking about,” the Holy Spirit spoke. “Think about me, and you won’t be down.”
Go figure. I’m the one who has so often told people, “When I’m focused on the Lord, I’m doing really well. When I get my focus off the Lord and onto my circumstances and this world, I go straight down and I’m a mess,” I essentially have told people over and again.

Greatest Joy & Peace Ever
The Lord used the teaching of a fellow Jesus follower one day to bring to light that He doesn’t just give believers in Him as Lord some random joy once in a while. He gives us HIS JOY! Then the Lord brought to my attention He doesn’t just give us some random peace once in a while. He gives us HIS PEACE! How do I know this is true? God’s New Commandment
The Lord God almighty surely doesn’t have a new commandment, does He? Imagine my surprise when I found out after years of believing in Jesus Christ as Lord that He most assuredly does have a new commandment! Are you familiar with the Lord’s new commandment?
