Hold Onto Jesus!

The Lord Jesus Christ makes abundantly clear in the Bible that we WILL have tribulations in this life. But He promises those who turn away from our sins, believe in Him as Lord and in His death and resurrection, truly dedicating our lives to God and His ways, receive His forgiveness and the promise of an everlasting relationship with Him instead of forever in hell and the lake of fire. In receiving Him as Lord and genuinely devoting our lives to Him, no longer living for self but now living for ...

The Jesus Follower

If you skip over this verse in the Bible, or you read it and fail to understand it, or you read it and understand it but fail to live by it, you are missing one of the most absolutely vitally important aspects of believing in and following Jesus Christ as Lord, of spending eternity with Him instead of forever apart from Him in torment in hell and the lake of fire, and of enjoying an amazingly, wonderfully, awesomely, beautiful, precious, and fulfilling personal and intimate relationship with the...

The Ultimate Excitement

Now if I look back on my life, I can think of many things that I was convinced would be exciting and fulfilling and that – and whom, to be honest – I chased high speed after. But never in a million years would I have expected to discover what I now know is the ultimate excitement.

Imagine my surprise when after decades of living for self with the ultimate goal of finding love, comfort, pleasure, satisfaction, security, safety, and all that and whom I wanted I woke up one morning to write this pr...

Good News Daily – December 15

Dear friend,

Many years ago, I would bounce from one job to another looking for a way to pay the bills and have money to spend. My heart was never in my work. It was emotionally painful and stressful beyond measure to sit behind a desk or counter or on a chair somewhere watching the clock trying to figure out how I would make it to the end of the work day let alone through the next few minutes. I was not where the Lord wanted me. Not in the least. I had no sense of purpose other than to get thro...

Who Are You Living for?

“and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:15

Who are you living for, friend? Are you living for yourself? Or, are you living for the Lord?

For years, I believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, professed to love Him more than anything or anyone, went to church, prayed, read my Bible, went to prayer meetings, went to Bible studies, had Christian friends, met with pastors, and worked hard to “serve” the L...

Good News Daily – December 14

Dear friend,

Praise the Lord for a new day and a new week! I hear people talk about how they can’t wait for the year 2020 to be over because it was so hard for so many. I’ll be honest with you. I don’t think of my life in terms of years and good years and bad years. To me, every day is a blessing and an opportunity to love and serve the Lord with all my heart and to tell the world about Him. It is an opportunity to love, praise, honor, adore, worship, obey, serve, and glorify God. Rest assured I...

Jesus Opportunities

When I went to an urgent care / walk-in doctors clinic concerning my on-and-off-again digestive issues, little did I know what a wild experience I would have and what beautiful Jesus opportunities would come with it.

The staff wouldnt let me into the medical building due to concern one of my symptoms could be COVID-related which it was apparently not and thus sent me to a port-a-potty in the dark winter night to get a urine sample. Imagine the challenge! I was then sent into a relatively...

Good News Daily – Saturday Dec 12

Dear friend,

I am ecstatic to say this morning I finished preparing for publication my latest book which comes right on the heels of my book Totally Devoted. My lifelong dream of being a writer has come true but beyond anything I could have imagined because I have entrusted the gift of writing the Lord has given me to Him to be used for His glory and to help people around the world to believe in and forever faithfully follow Him! I would be blessed if you would consider ordering my books for...

Crazy Man in the Post Office

This is a short story I wrote some years ago with a powerful message and have been led to re-publish each holiday season with the hope the Lord will move mightily in peoples hearts as He did in my own when He gave me the story to write. I hope you might pass it along to others so they, too, will be moved by God through it.

CRAZY MAN IN THE POST OFFICE

Crazy people always stand out from the crowd, dont they? This one did, alright. I couldnt help but notice him. The post office might have been...
