When God Says GO!

Please consider these 6 vitally important words – and how they might apply to your life.

Arise. And. Go. Then. I. Went.

Now please read the following verses from the book of Jeremiah in the Bible before I share with you what the Holy Spirit of God brought to my attention regarding these 6 vital words.

“The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he ...

Stay Here, Don’t Run!

I supposed the Holy Spirit was just talking to me not giving me a message for anyone else but solely for me. Certainly I needed to hear it. Hear what? These words.

Stay here. Don’t run.

When I was a little girl and went to public swimming pools, the lifeguard would raise his or her voice sometimes and say, “Walk! Don’t run!” The children would be running around the pool. Dangerous. Against the rules. The children needed to be stopped. They needed to hear the lifeguard’s voice, listen, and obey. ...

When the Lord STOPS You!

“I don’t want to – “ I started to think. The Holy Spirit immediately stopped me in my tracks.

“It doesn’t matter what you want. You will do what is right,” He spoke to my heart.

Enough said. I was on the wrong track. The wrong path. I needed to get on the right path. His.

When the Lord warns us, corrects us, chastens us, leads us to repentance, when He makes clear in one way or another we are already turned away from Him, or are about to turn away from Him, we need to humble ourselves, turn to H...

Be Strong!

Know what the Bible says when it comes to strength? Lots – including this.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

Then the Bible tells us to put on and use the entire armour He gives us to fight and have victory in our spiritual battles as the devil comes hard at us in his despicable mission to kill, destroy, and steal (John 10:10). Maybe you are already familiar with these verses just below, but I encourage you to read them once more now after which I would...

Your Love Life

God calls us to a life of LOVE. Loving Him with ALL our hearts and loving others as ourselves. His greatest commands. He gave me a wonderful reminder about loving others one day when I was talking to my paralyzed ministry doggy Miss Mercy.

Call me crazy because I talk to my dogs. That’s okay. I spend lots of time on my own doing my ministry work and do much praying to the Lord when I’m not out and about talking to people about Jesus. I also chit chat away to my sweet and precious special needs m...

A Good Night’s Sleep

“Thank you for a good night’s sleep,” I told the Lord. My Father in heaven, my God, my King, my precious, beloved Savior! My Jesus!

Despite desperately needing rest, I got about 1 or 2 hours of sleep between my usual tossing and turning coupled with my sweet senior ministry doggy Abigail getting sick. Why then did I thank the Lord? Why would I want to praise Him?

I have spent far too much of my life being negative, complaining, moaning, groaning, feeling sorry for myself, creating drama, thinkin...

Those Prideful Thoughts!

Those thoughts matter. Know what I’m referring to? Those prideful thoughts. Let me explain. Pride is NOT merely when we say and do things with arrogance and make ourselves out to be better and superior and more wonderful and more successful and more experienced and more anything and everything than others! Pride is ALSO when we have THOUGHTS in which we LIFT OURSELVES UP as BETTER THAN and PUT AND SHOVE OTHERS DOWN as less than and worse than, etc. When we lift ourselves up arrogantly in any way...

Devil Attacked My Friendship!

In the devil’s merciless mission to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), one thing he loves to do is to attack people’s relationships with the Lord most of all and also to attack people’s relationships with one another. Stands to reason. After all, God’s greatest commands are to love Him with all our hearts and others as ourselves (Luke 10:26-27). The devil attacks our relationships with God and with others vehemently, vengefully, viciously, and vigilantly. Which is exactly what he did for the...

My Big LOVE Prayer!

I sat down on the edge of my hotel bed which is half filled with Bibles, highlighters, pens, notebooks, paralyzed ministry doggy Miss Mercy’s diaper station, pillows, blankets – and, oh, yes, some empty space for me! Then I prayed. A really big prayer. In very few words.

“Help me to love,” I prayed.

Such a very simple prayer. But when I think about it now, I realize how unfathomably vital it is. Because of this.

God’s TWO GREATEST COMMANDS are these. To LOVE Him with all our hearts and to LOVE o...
