Monstrous Matchmaker 1 cover and blurb reveal!
I’m excited to have finalized the cover for Operation Werewolf the first in the Monstrous Matchmaker series. Wanna see it? EXCELLENT!
Operation Werewolf (Monstrous Matchmaker #1)
Being happily mated to a monster out of her wildest fantasies has given Ari Colton a burning desire to match her other monstrous friends up with their own dream girls. Her supernatural dating service might still have a few bugs to work out, but Ari knows she can find someone for anyone.
Her first paying customer? A lonely harpy who’s been unlucky at love more than once.
Which of her friends is willing to step up to the plate and help Ari’s fledging business out? One wicked werewolf with a soft side for damsels in distress, that’s who.
Can a werewolf with his feet firmly on the ground find love with a flighty girl? Only time will tell.
Warning: This book contains one pretty, winged girl and one growly werewolf. No woodland animals were harmed in their explosive outdoor encounter.
Michael! MICHAEL! YAY! I have fun writing him. He’s a little growly, but always willing to lend a hand when someone needs it.
As for a release date, I’m hoping to have this out soon! SOON!

Meet the series!
I’m going to be working on updating the website this week and next and I realized I haven’t really announced all the NEW series that are in the works.
So…First up: Monstrous Matchmaker is the spin-off series from Monstrous Tales. It will feature Ari working on hooking up her monstrous friends with those who appreciate their special charms. (I’ve mentioned this one, but haven’t gone into a lot of detail. Which happens.)
Currently: Book 1 is written. Book 2 is half written. These are about the same length as the Monstrous Tales installments, meaning they’re bite sized pieces of sexiness chock full of monsters.
Second, an as-yet-untitled sci-fi series revolving around a space ship that’s been boarded by pirates in deep space. Sexy sci-fi is like crack to me and while the first book won’t have the sex, the second book most definitely will. I have to get the characters where they need to be before they start the sexin’.
Currently: Book 1 has a good chunk written. I have NO CLUE how long these books will be. I’m estimating between 20K and 30K words, but it all depends on how complex the characters end up being.
These two series are in addition to The Demonkind Chronicles (book 3 is written), Grimwood (book 2 is nearly done), Stronghold (book 4 is the next on my schedule to write. Once I finish the ones in progress, that is.).
On that note, I need to get back to writing. Check the Books page over the next few weeks to see a little more about both these new series (and maybe some hints on what’s to come with the current ones!).

Cursed Wolves is coming along!
I started writing on Cursed Wolves, Grimwood #2, this past weekend. My author friend Christi Snow and I were joking around about having free time (my entire family was out of town and I had SO MUCH uninterrupted time to write) and somehow I got it in my head that I wanted to try to reach the halfway point in the book. So, umm, I wrote.
And wrote.
And wrote.
And wrote.
And now you get a sneak peek (totally unedited and probably chock full of weird grammar errors!):
Connor could tell by the prickle on the back of his neck that his stalker was back.
The feeling of being watched had started nearly two months ago. Two long months of having his daily movements dissected and studied. He didn’t like it.
Today, he’d get to the bottom of who they were and why they were following him around like a stray dog. Until the little troublemaker walked into his snare, however, there was work to be done.
The muscles in his shoulders flexed and bunched as he swung his axe in a graceful movement to split the log he’d been readying.
Cursed Wolves! CURSED WOLVES! Blurb and cover coming soon. The blurb might get tweaked a bit depending on where the story takes me. So, STAY TUNED FOR THAT!
Now I have to get back to writing!

Refuge is NOW AVAILABLE!
The 3rd book in the Stronghold series is HERE! Wheeeee! It’s currently only available at Amazon, but I’ll update the series page as it goes live on other retailers.
Emma barely survived the zombie outbreak that swept through the small town of Fox Hollow. Saved by a delivery man, she’s far from home and cast adrift. Only the calming influence of her knight in polyester shorts has kept her from falling apart completely.
Gavin understands all too well that the world has fallen into chaos. Saving Emma was the only thing he could do when he saw her being threatened by the residents of the retirement home. Trapped with one another to lean on, they have to figure out how to make things work in this crazy, messed up world.
The appearance of other living people from the upper floors might be the break they need to make it out in one piece. But only if they have the courage to step out of their refuge.
And only if Emma’s secret doesn’t destroy the fragile trust she and Gavin are building.
There will be one more book in this series and then it’s done. Which isn’t to say you won’t see these characters again, because I have another series set in this same world and I love when familiar faces pop up unexpectedly. I also have a prequel currently percolating in the back of my brain that chronicles the events that led to the virus outbreak. New characters, but it would touch on how the virus began and how it spread so fast. BUT… that book has to wait a bit. I have curses to cast and monsters to sex up between now and then.
In the meantime, enjoy the apocalypse!

Monstrous Tales 1 & 2 free on Amazon Feb 13-16!
Hello, my lovelies! I have a long weekend coming up and decided to celebrate it (and getting together with some of my friends for delicious, delicious barbeque) by making The Wicked Woods and The Wicked Wolf free through Monday.
So. Freebies. Grab ‘em while they’re hot…
The Wicked Woods (Monstrous Tales #1)
Ari’s always had a thing for monsters. Big ones, small ones, and all the ones in between. They turn her on like no human can. She’d be an ordinary girl if not for that one little quirk.
Since monsters aren’t real, she’s resigned herself to loving them in her imagination.
But, as Ari is about to find out, monsters are real and now one of them has her in their grasp. Will reality be better than fantasy? Or will she walk away and lose her one chance at fulfilling her wildest dreams?
Warning: This book contains a girl who isn’t afraid of monsters and a monster who wouldn’t mind a special lady friend. You’ll never look at those all-night monster marathons on TV the same way again.
FREE at Amazon Feb 13-16
The Wicked Wolf (Monstrous Tales #2)
After several months with her monstrous lover, the unthinkable has happened—Ari’s Guardian is being called upon to mate with others of his kind. Not wanting to put her in danger, her Guardian sends her away, promising they will reunite once he’s fulfilled his duty.
Now Ari has a choice—she can pine for her monster as he lies with compatible females or she can seek out other supernaturals and see if what she feels for her Guardian is true.
Is it love or only lust? There’s a wicked wolf who’s willing to help her find the truth.
Warning: This book contains lovers (metaphorically) torn apart and a girl determined to experience the supernatural. Timid creatures need not apply.
FREE at Amazon Feb 13-16
Have a great weekend!

Motivated by Grimwood!
I shared the rough blurbs for the rest of the books in the Grimwood series with my writing group this past week and got SUPER excited about writing them again. Not that I wasn’t excited already, mind you, but getting feedback can be its own sort of motivation. AND I AM MOTIVATED.
Which is awesome, but first I need to finish writing the short story that goes along with my OTHER series. The one I’m in the middle of writing. The one sitting smack dab in the middle of my brain and demanding attention RIGHT NOW.
Yeah, so I’m writing about zombies right now. But curses and craziness are coming up.
Random tidbit that might be interesting…
I write my blurbs first. I use the blurb as an outline (and, yes, sometimes I have to tweak them if the writing doesn’t quite go as I originally planned) and build my story around it. I also like to create my covers before I finish writing. No reason there except writing the blurb and creating the cover seem to go hand in hand in my head.
Oh, hey. More zombies in my head. That means I need to get back to writing now!

Nothing to see. Move along. Move along.
QUICK! Somebody ask me what I’m working on right now!
No, wait. Don’t ask. I’d have to go into a whole bunch of backstory on this new series (that’s not really new because I started writing it AGES ago, but that’s another story for another day) and I’m all FLUTTERY over the things that are happening and I don’t think I can be that coherent right now.
BUT… let’s just say that I’m writing in the Stronghold world set three years after the virus has hit. THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. And, OMG!, I love writing these characters. And yes, there are already almost three books written in this series (I told you I started it a while ago), so you WILL be seeing it at some point. After I finish off another series or two.
Huh. Is it me or do these series procreate like bunnies when my back it turned?
Maybe I don’t want to know the answer to that. My mind is a bunny-humping place apparently.
Whelp. Time to get back to the crazy.

Cover Reveal: Hurricanes and Handcuffs by Jodi Redford
Jodi Redford, dirty talker and writer of sexy books, has a new book coming out VERY soon. Seeing as she’s one of my favorite ladies, I’m helping out with the cover reveal for this bad boy.
Without any further ado…
Cover Reveal
Hurricanes and Handcuffs by Jodi Redford
Release Date- Feb. 1st
Hurricanes and Handcuffs by Jodi Redford
Gabrielle Scott is fed up with helping her playboy boss seduce and woo his countless bimbettes courtesy of her culinary masterpieces. Yeah, the pay is good, and you can’t beat the luxurious digs she’s treated to as his resident personal chef. But she can’t afford the frustration of living under the same roof with the one man who drives her crazy in every possible way. The damnable truth? She’s in love with the irredeemable bastard, and the only way she’ll get over him is to get naked under him. The plan? Attend Jax’s annual Mardi Gras ball incognito and entice him into a hot night of sin—right before handing in her resignation.
Jaxon Noble always gets what he wants. Especially when it comes to the opposite sex. So when Gabbi shows up at his party in an eye-popping costume and outrageously flirts with him it’s a foregone conclusion that she’ll finally be his. About damn time the stubborn woman came to her senses. He’s more than happy to go along with her game, and the combustible heat they generate together proves it was well worth the wait to have her. But when morning comes and Gabrielle calmly announces she’s quitting, Jax is faced with the sobering fact that perhaps money can’t buy everything. Or more to the point—the only person who’s ever meant anything to him.
For someone who’s used to winning at all costs, losing Gabbi isn’t an option. And Jax will pull out every sweet and sexy trick to convince her to take a chance on a forever with him. Even if it means handcuffing her to his bed.
Warning: This book contains a sassy chef, one determined bad boy billionaire, Fur-lined handcuffs and inappropriate consumption of beignets, several sinful drizzles of honey, and enough sizzling chemistry to set off the smoke alarms.

Exciting news!
I’m making the jump to print!
It’ll be a few weeks still (these things take time, as all good things do), but Demon Restrained will be the first of my books to go to print. WHICH IS EXCITING AND WEIRDLY APPROPRIATE SOMEHOW seeing as how it was the first book I published. Period.
While you’re waiting for Bas and Evie to put in an appearance, you should grab part 1 in Staci Hart’s Hardcore series. I read it this past weekend and it’s FREAKING amazing. I have the flutters just thinking about it.
Hardcore: Volume 1 by Staci Hart
*** Part 1 of a 3 part serial ***
Cory James has never known a life where she wasn’t running. Running from the cops, her home, her past. Running from love. The only time she’s free is when she throws on her hood and takes to the roofs to become a part of New York, to climb to a place in the city where she doesn’t feel alone.
Stealing is nothing, lying inevitable, byproducts of survival. A way for Cory to provide for herself and for her younger sister, Jill, give her the life Cory couldn’t have. For five years, Cory set up a long line of teetering dominos, one by one, choice by choice.
Meeting Van is the first domino to fall, and once they crash into each other, it’s only a matter of time before her whole world is in danger of falling apart. She can tell herself over and again that she doesn’t care, but it’s a lie. She knows it from the first time she says his name, but she can’t let him in, not when she has a job to do, a job that could rip her life apart at the seams. One that she’ll have to betray Van to finish.
He’ll follow however high she can climb, but she can only run for so long before she has to choose.
Seriously. A.maz.ing.
