The Wicked Gargoyle – Out now!
WE HAVE ACHIEVED GARGOYLE! That’s right, Ari’s adventures are taking her to the bell tower for some winged lovin’. WHO DOESN’T LIKE WINGS? Or bells, really?
Anyway. The Wicked Gargoyle is available at Amazon! YAY!
The Wicked Gargoyle (Monstrous Tales #7)
Ari’s on a mission—find and recruit monsters to help save her beloved Guardian. The more allies she can gather, the better her beloved’s chances of survival.
When she hears of a gargoyle hiding out in the bell tower on campus, she does what any other girl who loves supernaturals would do—she seeks him out to see what it’ll take to sway him to her side.
He might be made of stone, but this wicked gargoyle knows a good deal when he hears it and he’s more than willing to help Ari out.
Provided she can help him out first.
Warning: This book contains a rock-hard monster and a girl with few inhibitions. You can take the monster out of the bell tower, but just try to get him out of the girl!
As a reminder, you can catch up on the series with Monstrous Tales Volume 1 (Amazon | Barnes & Noble | iTunes | Kobo) and Volume 2 (Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iTunes | Kobo). Up next: SASQUATCH!

The April finish line!
April is coming to a close and I’m here to report on what I accomplished for Camp NaNo!
As a refresher, at the beginning of the month, I set out to write 50K words.
Boom! Done! Yep, I wrote a grand total of 50,154 words spread out over 5 different projects. Might I just say tracking multiple word counts over multiple projects is not as fun as it sounds. BUT I DID IT. Apple’s hard core, yo!
What’s the breakdown, you ask? I CAN ANSWER THAT!
I finished books 7 and 8 of the Monstrous Tales series and started on book 9.
I wrote roughly half of book 3 in the Zombie Apocalypse Love Story.
I started the first book in a series I’ve been toying with. I’m not going to say much about that yet because it’s still percolating. BUT if you’d like a sneak peak at what I’m planning, check out my inspiration board on Pinterest.
Ari’s story ending up taking an intriguing turn as it progressed. Yes, there’s a teeny, tiny bit more than just girl-on-monster sex in those books. Book 7 will be hitting Amazon soon (within the next week if everything goes as planned) and I’m excited to reach the *ahem* climactic ending with her and her monsters.
So, what’s up for May? MORE WRITING! And editing!
With that, I’m back to the writing cave!

Monstrous Tales Volume 2 – Out now!
Whoo-hoo! Monstrous Tales Volume 2 is HERE! This bundle contains books 4-6 (The Wicked Merman, The Wicked Naga, and The Wicked Minotaur) plus a never before published short story set between books 5 and 6. That short story was given away to newsletter subscribers, so if you want in on that action in the future, make sure you sign up to the mailing list.
Monstrous Tales Volume 2: The Wicked Merman, The Wicked Naga, Wicked Dreams, The Wicked Minotaur
Ari Colton’s always been a little different. She has a thing for monsters of all shapes and sizes, but she’s resigned herself to loving them only in her dreams. That is, until the day she’s abducted by one and finds an entire supernatural world right under her nose.
Now she has all the monsters she can handle and she’s loving every minute of it.
This bundle contains books 4-6 in the Monstrous Tales series and a never before published short story.
The Wicked Merman
With her beloved still in the midst of his mating duties, Ari agrees to go with her friends for a weekend away in the mountains. But when a girl who loves monsters ends up at a lake housing a merman, she’s going to end up doing a lot more than swimming.
The Wicked Naga
The weekend’s not over yet and it’s just Ari’s luck there’s a snake-man in these mountains who’s looking for a sweet, young thing to spend some time with. Ari’s adventurous spirit could very well give her the answers to questions she didn’t know she should be asking.
Wicked Dreams: A Monstrous Tales Interlude (never before published)
Plagued by worry for her beloved’s safety, Ari’s dreams have become nightmares since she returned from the mountain. That is, until the night she falls asleep and meets a supernatural whose very nature gives him control over the dreamscape.
The Wicked Minotaur
Desperate to distract herself, Ari stumbles into the Harvest Festival labyrinth and finds a real, live minotaur hidden away. Gaining his help in her quest to save her Guardian is a possibility, but only if she can find a way to convince him to leave his subterranean home.
Currently, it’s available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo. It’s also been submitted to the iTunes store and I’ll update the main page once that goes live.
Happy monsters!

This installment is scheduled for an early May release. The volume 2 bundle should go live at multiple retailers in about a week (provided the zombie apocalypse doesn’t start between now and then). The Wicked Minotaur – Out now!
Whee! My minotaur has been released into the wild! WHO DOESN’T LOVE A WILD MINOTAUR!?!?
*ahem* Right. Anyway. The Wicked Minotaur is now available at Amazon!
The Wicked Minotaur (Monstrous Tales #6)
Ari’s concern for her beloved has hit critical mass. While she promised the naga she wouldn’t do anything foolish, she’s not one to sit around and let opportunities pass her by.
So, when she finds a real, live minotaur hidden away at the center of the Harvest Festival labyrinth, she grabs the chance to recruit him to help. The only problem? The minotaur’s been a prisoner of the labyrinth for years and he’s forgotten what it’s like to be free.
Good thing Ari has a thing for monsters and plenty of practice getting them revved up.
It looks like this wicked minotaur will be given all the motivation he’ll need to find a way out.
Warning: This book contains a lady determined to help out her love and a minotaur who’s too big for his britches. That’s right, ladies, there’s nothing mini about this minotaur. The line forms to the right.
As with the others in the series, it’ll be priced at .99 for the first two weeks and then it’ll go up to $1.99 (Amazon – US | Amazon – International). If you need to catch up, Monstrous Tales Volume 1 is available at multiple retailers (Amazon – US | Amazon – International | Barnes & Noble | iTunes) and contains the first 3 installments of the series plus a bonus short story. Monstrous Tales Volume 2 will be out in roughly 2 weeks and will also be available at multiple retailers. Volume 2 will include book 4-6 plus a bonus short story.
Already have book 4-6 but still want to get your hands on that short story? Sign up for my newsletter! That’s right! Newsletter subscribers get it just for being awesome!

Start your engines!
As y’all may have picked up, I love boner jokes and NaNoWriMo. And tentacles. And werewolves. And minotaurs.
Joy of joys, I can participate in Camp NaNo WHILE telling boner jokes. And writing about tentacles. And werewolves. And minotaurs. Even, be still my beating heart, ZOMBIES!
Yep, I’m going to split my time this April between finishing off the Monstrous Tales series (THE END IS IN SIGHT AND IT’S BITTERSWEET TO SEE IT COMING! PUN INTENDED!) and writing book three in my zombie apocalypse love story. Books 1 and 2 aren’t out yet (and it might be a while still until they are because I’ve been focusing on other projects instead of obsessively editing
them), but this series is one of my favorites. ZOMBIES! TWO PEOPLE FINDING ONE ANOTHER IN THE MIDST OF A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! SEXY TIMES! BLOOD! GORE! MORE SEXY TIMES! *swoon*
And remember, if you’re participating in Camp NaNo, join The Writing Sidekick and get bonus motivation to get those words down! I’ll be hanging around dropping filthy innuendo when you least expect it. I’ve been saving up those boner jokes and I’m ready to use them!
Now, I’m off to write some words!

Blurb and cover for Monstrous Tales #6!
Soooo… I have a bit of a soft spot for minotaurs. Basically, I think they’re misunderstood and are just looking for love in all the wrong places. Seriously, what type of special lady friends are they trying to find in the middle of a labyrinth?
Needless to say, I was VERY excited to write this minotaur story. You know why? Minotaurs need love, too! Heeee!
Anyway. In all his bull-headed glory, allow me to present The Wicked Minotaur…

The Wicked Naga – Out now!
The Wicked Naga marks the halfway point in the Monstrous Tales series. I write 2 books ahead, so I’m working on book 7 as I release my snake-man into the wild. (And that sometimes leads to confusion for me because I’m all “HEY! THERE’S THIS PART THAT… Oh, wait. That’s in the next book. DANGIT!”) Frankly, this installment was the most nerve-wracking to write to date. That poor naga turned out very different from how I originally pictured him.
In a good way, mind you. In a good way.
Without any further ado… The Wicked Naga is now available on Amazon.
The Wicked Naga (Monstrous Tales #5)
Ari’s weekend at the cabin has turned out to be eye-opening—she’s been propositioned by a frenemy and spent a scorching night in the lake with a merman. But the weekend’s not over yet and it’s just her luck there’s a snake-man in these mountains who’s looking for a sweet, young thing to spend some time with.
Ari’s adventurous and the naga is upfront about what he wants. But can she trust a half-man, half-snake who looks at her like she’s dinner?
This wicked naga might be deadly, but he also has a softer side. Ari just has to uncover it.
Warning: This book contains a monster with non-standard parts and a girl who has enough determination to see things through. It’s two for the price of one on the mountain and Ari couldn’t be more excited.
Stay tuned next week for the cover and blurb of The Wicked Minotaur!

The Writing Sidekick!
About a month ago I joined a writing accountability group. Basically, I meet once a week with several other writers and we set goals and celebrate victories as we work our way through our different projects. This has been a HUGE help for me because it’s given me the push I need to get some of those little, piddly things done that I might have otherwise put off as well as keep me on track with my writing.
So, when one of my accountability partners came up with the idea of having a community based around April’s Camp NaNo (which I’m participating in) where participants would be able to interact on a small scale with other writers, I was ALL OVER THAT. I’ll be hanging out in The Writing Sidekick‘s Google+ community with words of encouragement and internet cheerleaders ( *\o/* *\o/* *\o/* ) as we get to writing in April.
If you’re going to be participating in Camp NaNo (yes, I do love NaNo-ing!), JOIN US! As I like to say, those boner jokes are more fun when other people are there to laugh with you!

Blurb and cover for Monstrous Tales #5!
Oh, snake-man. You ended up being a lot of fun to write. And I wasn’t expecting that.
On top of being fun, the naga’s story sets up a big part of the arc to close out the series. Which is both sad and exciting at the same time. BUT… since I have an idea for a spin-off series, we might be seeing a lot more of these oversexed monsters. *sly grin*
Anyway. The naga.

Now, I’m splitting my time between writing book 6 (MINOTAUR!) and playing with my contemporary non-paranormal menage story I started back in November. Here’s to many happy sexy times in my future.
