"You have 3 days to be sad. 3 days to dwell in what you did and didn’t do. 3 days to remember all..."

“You have 3 days to be sad. 3 days to dwell in what you did and didn’t do. 3 days to remember all those good times and all those bad times. 3 days to stay in bed, watch TV, binge on junk food and not care about the world outside. But once those 3 days are over, you have to start living again. Open your blinds, take a long shower, dress up even if you have nowhere to go. Because once those 3 days are over and the sadness you felt and still may feel has had its way, you have to get up. Because I’m going to tell you the truth, and it’s only because I love you, that no one outside of these windows and this town are going to stop living because you feel like you should. So get up and join them. Just because he says he doesn’t want you anymore doesn’t mean that no one else does.”

- “Advice from my father when I was 16 and said that I would rather be sad then have to go on living without him,” - Colleen Brown (via mostlyfiction)

"In a room full of men
and all I can see is you,
even though you are not here.
I can feel you next..."

“In a room full of men

and all I can see is you,

even though you are not here.

I can feel you next me,

can hear the words you would

whisper if you could only see

what I am seeing.

These are the kind of men

that we scorn at.

The kind who think

that if a girl smiles their way

it means that they want them,

even though they are only

being polite. Two of these

men have already asked me

my age, my sign, a number

that they could reach me at.

They ask if I’m taken, if I’m in love.

Every answer is a lie,

a reply with a sarcastic

undertone that none can detect

because the vodka has already

taken over their common sense.

A lie, I say that my name is Jennie.

A lie, I say that I am an Aries.

A lie, I give them my ex’s number.

The only truth, yes I am in love.”

I tried explaining to my parents that people can't just "turn" gay or "convert" themselves. All they did was laugh at me and said I was too young to understand that they're abnormal. I can't deal with this homophobic family. They're the reason why I feel s

Some people / parents just don’t understand and most likely never will. It’s ridiculous and hurtful but it happens. If you’re trying to come out yourself, I would keep trying to inform them. But if they just won’t understand, you may not even want to bring it up. It’s one of those subjects that’s really hard to come to a reason. My mother used to think that way, never in a funny way, until my twin came out as being gay so she had to accept it. Either accept it or not have him in her life. I’m sorry that this is happening to you and if you want to talk about this more, please message me off of anonymous. I hope you’re feeling okay.

Because I would rather leave

than to be with someone

who only wants me

"Being near you isn’t enough.
I want more, I need more,
I yearn for more.

I’m always, always..."

Being near you isn’t enough.

I want more, I need more,

I yearn for more.

I’m always, always thinking

about ways that I can get closer,

feel you more than in just one way.

You are the drug that I fiend.

The drug that I don’t need

a doctors appointment

or prescription to obtain.

A drug with no harmful

side effects but with an

addiction that I must fill.

So please, come here,

come closer, get comfortable.

Because there is no way

that I will ever let you go.

“I’m waiting for you to realize

that you messed up and for you

to come back to me

with apologizes written on

your hands and your lips.

I’m waiting for you to tell me

that I have always been the one

you’ve wanted but have been

to eager for life to start to see.

I’m waiting for you to make me

your everything, or at least

something that is too good

for you to leave behind.

But knowing you,

I’ll be waiting for a long time.”

“Smoking cigarettes

does not mean that you

will rid of their toxic love

by inhaling something

more deadly.

Drinking alcohol

does not mean that you

will forget their face

by taking more shots

and then blacking out.

Smoking weed

does not mean that you

will erase their lingering presence

by fogging up your mind

and forgetting about

their words for a moment.

Because even if it helps

for an hour, for a day,

for the night, their memory

will somehow still be there

when you start to down buzz

and or wake up hungover.”
