Last year, this elk faun was trapped by flooding in South Korea. A farmer saved it, and was surprised to see his dog adopt the little critter. And isn't...that...sweet?

What Does an Author Smell Like?

I'm not sure that I want to know! But this Paddywax website is selling author-scented candles, so I guess SOMEONE has done the research.



According to them, the Charles Dickens' candle has an odor of "tangerine, juniper & clove"...not the old pipe tobacco and oak smell that you might have guessed.



Hey, if I get my own scented candle, what would it smell like? I'm going for rosewood and patchouli...with a hint of meat loaf!

Do you ever wonder, "What IS hip-hop?"

THIS is hip-hop! (I used to think that I had bad posture. It turns out that I'm very hip-hop!)

My favorite part is where the writer's son is asked his opinion of the book. His response includes this:

Dodgeball Is Fun...Especially With a Million Players!

Yep, it's the world's biggest dodgeball game. Held at the University of California, this one actually only had 1,700 players. Still pretty cool, though!

The Joy of Laughter

Sometimes you just have to laugh...even if you're a Swiss politician named Hans-Rudolf Merz who's reading a legal document! He starts to crack up, almost loses it at 0:30, then seems okay...until he cracks up again! The audience seems to enjoy it, so that was nice. :)
