What's Time Travel Inn about?

Hey, I shared the news of my new book without giving any real details of what it's about! Let me remedy that now. Just click on the picture below to see a larger version:

Jeff Kinney loved my new book, TIME TRAVEL INN!

Hey, a thousand apologies. I'll admit that I've been so busy working on this book for Choose Your Own Adventure, I've failed to update my own blog! Anyway, I can tell you that Jeff Kinney (author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid) described my story as having "mind-bending adventure and heart-stopping thrills!"

Available at IndieboundPowell’s BooksAmazonBarnes & NobleChoose Your Own Adventure, or your local bookstore or library!

Please read my "amusing" article

Here's the link. Oh, and my friend, Aaron, helped with this piece. But I wrote all the good parts. ;)

I Won a Major Award!

No big deal, but I was just awarded WRITING'S GREATEST PRIZE! No, not the Nobel Prize in Literature. Even better—I won the ”Vile Pun” category in the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest.

As background, the BLFC challenges writers to compose the first sentence for the worst imaginable novel. It has various genre categories (Adventure, Romance, Science Fiction, etc.), and there's also one for "Vile Puns."

As nothing is more unfunny than explaining a joke, here goes: A Peer is a member of the British aristocracy, and telling someone to "take a long walk off a short pier" is a way of telling someone to get lost.

So anyway, you can imagine how proud I am! And if you read any of the award-winning entries and think, "I could write worse than THAT," enter this contest next year. :)

Ooh, my new books are here!

Not to overplay it, but getting my new SPACE and ROBOT books in the mail just cured my baldness and made a warm apple pie appear in the kitchen.
