And STAY Out!

There is a cat in Estonia named Musti. He doesn't like foxes coming into his garden. And his owner, Hugo Udusaar, got a great shot of Musti laying down the law!

Photo from here.

Eating a Floating Hamburger

Photo by by Peter King. Some relatives and I were walking in a park when we saw some floating hamburgers. They were part of a photography shoot that an art student was doing.

We wandered over, and the next thing you know, my nephew Evan was eating one of the props!

So THAT'S what a water balloon looks like!

Edward Horsford is a pretty incredible photographer. He times out his camera's flash with the moment of a balloon being popped to get super shots of balloons in action.

See an NPR slideshow of his work here .

Good News: I got translated into another language!

Sad News: I'm not entirely clear on what language it is.Wait— I've been informed that this is Vietnamese. Yes!

Wee Little Fact: For my Master's degree in history, I wrote my thesis on Vietnam.

There's a Time and a Place to Read

Look, I'm all in favor of reading. But this driver takes things a little too far. First, he's got a book propped on the steering wheel. Then he switches to an e-reader that looks like a Kindle. But wait— incoming phone call!

I Know My Big Books

For centuries, The Klencke Atlas (above) was the biggest book in the world.

But soon, that title may belong to the new book,  Earth, Platinum Edition . How big is it? Well, it weighs over a ton. So they only printed 31 copies.

And each one costs $100,000!

Is there an e-book version?
