The female’s back is still a mess. The male’s back has decided to join in. Solidarity is not wise in this case, male human. Don’t join the female on this one. She does not want company this time.

She took a day off, which was lovely! Princess slept with her. I kept a close eye on the male.

The female’s day has been less than stellar. She had to deal with yet another armchair editor incident. Add in a lot of administration-type work she needed to do, by the time she got to the ‘write book’ portion of her day, she was out of spoons.

She had to write anyway. (Correction: she still needs to write tonight. Oops.)

It’s okay, though. The book is progressing nicely. On Tuesday, Dirty Deeds releases, which will be nice. (And the female is almost done the prep work for...

A Dirty Deeds Snippet plus Day 3 of the January 2021 Book Faire!

Dear humans,

The male got the female a light for Christmas. It arrived today. It changes color at her whim. She uses the tiny glowy box to control it. She likes it very much, and keeps taking it off its stand to show the male.

The first five or so times, this amused him. He is no longer amused, but the female is too excited to care much about this. Right now, it’s a very soothing golden yellow color.

Day 2 of the January 2021 Book Faire. Plus more apartment shenanigans.

Dear humans,

The female is fuming a little. It’s a little silly of her to be so annoyed over this, but… when they renewed, they did their apartment documentation, including a statement showing the insurance policy was on auto-renewal and all supporting documents. This was fine when we renewed, and they had physical copies of the documents to support this. It showed the date the policy (with the same number) would renew along with the terms of renewal.

This was fine.

Sigh.

Dear humans,

We made it! It is 2021! Today, Dipshit the Truck went in for his first doctor’s appointment. It was free. And apparently, his next oil change will also be free because the dealership was so slow doing his maintenance? (We don’t know if we’ll get to take advantage of that for some reasons involving moving, but hey… it was a nice gesture.)

The female has a headache brewing, so we’re going to jump straight to the chase.

Dear humans,

It is 10 PM, roughly, where the female lives. She’s made her resolutions for the year. The big one is ‘move out of this fucking apartment.’ Then she has ‘do better at cleaning, work less, play more.’ Standard stuff, but good stuff. Mostly.

‘Pet the cats’ more was not on the list, nor was ‘make the red dot appear.’ We’re concerned.
