Talking to Prairie Lakes Youth Program
I have been asked to talk to the kids at Prairie Lakes Youth Programs through the Willmar Public School system. I am going to be talking to two groups of students, share lunch with the staff and be interviewed for the Cardinal Clips!I’m excited and a little nervous to talk to the kids about my journey, Bloodmark and life and answer questions. I had a great author get together hosted by Wise Ink Publishing and met some amazing authors like Laurie Wetzel, Brandi Benton, Nick Dennen, Angela Miller, and Milo Swanton. Reviews from Goodreads Giveaway Winners
Sometimes my neurotic tendencies lead me to clicking on things like the reviews on Goodreads, because I’m curious how readers are enjoying Bloodmark. Perhaps I’m glutton for punishment or it could be that their love of my characters is one of the reason I can keep my pace writing every night. Live to Read reviews Bloodmark!
Another fabulous review on the blog Live to Read! They talk about the perspective of the paranormal being the girl, when all to often it is the boy. In Bloodmark Ashling is a werewolf and her love interest is a human and the book is written from her perspective. An Emotional Response from a Reader
I received a personal email from a reader about how Bloodmark had affected her and what she saw in my characters and their experiences. She described herself as “an emotional wreck” after finishing Bloodmark. It was an amazing feeling to touch someones life in such a profound way. I’m thrilled that she loved the book! It doesn’t become less impactful hearing from readers. The joy at knowing Bloodmark did what I hoped it would is immeasurable.
