Best Foot Forward

Author Aurora Whittet

My mom always said that you have to put your best foot forward. Meaning even if you feel like crap you better clean yourself up and look presentable, speak clearly, and be ready for whatever the world has to throw at you. So with that I give you . . . FOIL HEAD. I don’t know why exactly, but this selfie makes me laugh.

Here I am getting my partial foils done so I can look my best, I think I might be able to pick up some good TV stations with all that foil on my head, but even the best hair sty...

Feed Your Fiction Addiction

Feed Your Fiction Addiction reviews Bloodmark

Feed Your Fiction Addiction reviewed Bloodmark, first let me say, what a cool name for a blog. LOVE! I thoroughly enjoyed the review. As always insta-love is a love/hate for readers, but what is cool about this review is how she talked about Family Conflict in the book and the family love.

I think in life who we chose to surround ourselves with is the key to whether we are happy, healthy and if we succeed. If we surround ourselves with bad people or even people who just don’t emotionally suppo...

A Battle for Four Stars

Zach's YA Reviews Bloodmark by Aurora Whittet

I loved winning Zach’s four star review on his blog Zach’s YA Reviews. I watched on GoodReads as he’d post his thoughts throughout reading the book. I was nervous, curious, intrigued, excited and scared. He questions the insta-love, which is fair, I can’t say I’m always an insta-love fan either, but the reason I like it in Bloodmark is I think it is true to the nature of teenagers. First love is blinding and extreme and when you combine that with werewolves and soul mates it’s love.

Zach has a...

Throw me to the Wolves

Throw me to the wolves

I read this quote on Pinterest the other day and I couldn’t help myself from smiling. I researched to find the original person to quote them, but alas it seems to be anonymous. My parents had a wolf, a coyote and a wolf-mix when I was growing up, so as I always joke I was raised by wolves, so this quote fits my wild heart.

This is often how I feel in life, as though the world is too much. Too many things that need to be done, endless piles of laundry, dreams being pursued, hard work, family, e...

Today she is an amazing event planner, mom, blogger, photographer…really I don’t think there is anything she can’t do! I mean wow! I read her blog and follow her on Instagr...

Nature and its Beauty

Bloodmark by Aurora Whittet

Sometimes when I’m not writing and I find myself watching tv or a movie with my family, I’ll do some sketching. Though Bloodmark is about wolves, they aren’t the only creatures I adore, though they do rank in the number one spot. Today I sat down and doodled up this pretty wolf. I like how the fur almost looks like flames.

For me nature is freedom. On a bad day when I’m frustrated and annoyed and think the world is crazy … then I see a hawk perched in a tree and I remember my place in the worl...
