bbvp (1)

I had so much fun this week hopping from blog to blog on everyone’s projects! Other teams besides the Violet team also introduced their ideas to the world this week

Why It’s So Difficult to Comment on Posts with a Lot of Comments

comments

For me, at least.

We all know that the best way, both for newbies and oldies, to get ourselves out there and meet new people, is actually that. Putting ourselves out there and interacting, commenting.

Like other people, sometimes I go on commenting sprints, and sometimes, it’s just so damn hard!

However, the point of this post isn’t that, but something more specific. When I encounter a post, no matter how awesome and thought-inspiring, and I just can’t bring myself to comment if there are 3...

Semi-Hiatus Announcement

On account of my own health and time disponibility I’ve decided to make it official that I won’t be around the blog so much. This will probably go on for two weeks, to a month, I’m not sure.

My posts have already turned sporadic, but I’m glad I haven’t been pushing myself all that much either. I still have some things I want to post but I wanted to make it official that it won’t be that much or close between for a while. I’m always around on twitter, and will try to use this time to comment m...

Bookstagram: Consistency Vs Theme(?)

consistencytheme

For starters, I’d like to state that this post is in no way a tutorial on how to bookstagram since I’m kind of trying to figure that out myself!

Since there’re a lot of book bloggers and also normal readers too who now have joined the bookstagram fun, I thought it’d be nice to hear (read?) what you think about this topic.

So, as I was saying, since I didn’t get very serious about my IG account until recently, I’m still always searching for inspiration, for advice posts and any help I can ge...

May & June Tidbits – Let’s Wrap it Up

MAYANDJUNE

What I’ve been up to

Since you ask, college classes are on again, and they stink. Yes, this is a mini mini rant of my college classes. Most of my subjects are in english: Cultural Management, Quality Control Management, Market Research and Finance. Out of these four, only the Finance teacher actually knows how to speak in proper english. He says the word ‘guys’ a lot, but that’s beside the point, because at least he knows what he’s talking about, and how to say it.

My english isn’t perfect...

What’s in a Bookworm’s Bag?

bookworm

Recently, Laura from Boats Against the Current, posted her own What’s in a Bookworm’s Bag post and I loved it! You should go check it out! We share a healthy love for tote bags and hers is so pretty!

I carry a ton of crap in my bag, and this is the synthetized, and beautifed version of it. Be grateful I’ve spared you from the mess in the pic

Bookish Bookmarks Extravaganza

BBE (1)

I have tons of design elements stored around, dozens of fonts, more than one design app and… just one website where to use it. So, in the evenings, while I should probably be studying, I’ve been tinkering with some stuff like… my little welcome gift for new blog subscribers and started playing around with bookmark design printables too, yay!

All yours!

Is There Too Much Blogging Advice Out There?

bloggingadvice

This discussion is prompted by my own personal experience and a sort of response post by Ashley from Nosegraze on What to do with blogging advice, (specially when you’re fucking sick of it). I think she has a point!

So, there is advice. There is tons of advice. Writing about blogging itself has become sort of a trend. And that is the true. Even us, most book bloggers post at least the occasional post about blogging itself, which is part of the experience and most people accept it. But getti...
