Excerpt
I decide not to waste much time on my wardrobe. I grab my new jeans, a long-sleeved white tee, boots, and veto drying my hair by putting on my favorite camo ball cap. Once I’m ready, the girls and I grab a bite to eat and all go our separate ways. I crank up the radio and the heat in the Honda. It feels like minutes instead of an hour when I realize I’ve been lost in thought the majority of the way. Can we say dangerous? Note to self: focus while driving.
I pop in our drunk mix cd that Caroline always plays in her room while we drink PJ. It’s a lot more comical to listen to while sober. Seriously, the country version of “Gin and Juice” and “The Monster” by Eminem? I can’t help but laugh. It doesn’t get any better when “Genie in a Bottle” by Christina Aguilera begins playing. What was she thinking? Oh, wait. She wasn’t thinking because she was drunk.
I approach Grassy Pond, and nothing has changed since Thanksgiving. It’s still stoplight after stoplight. I can’t wait to hit that gravel road. I see the farm approaching and feel the butterflies within my stomach. For once, I’m excited and relieved to be home.
Turning off the ignition, I see Blue running toward me. As soon as I’m out of the car, he attacks me. “Yeah, boy, I’ve missed you, too.” I rub behind his ears and then make my way to the house.
There’s no need to hurry, because as I glance up, Tessa and Mama are in full out sprints. I giggle inside. Tessa wraps me in a tight embrace.
“Miss me much?” I smirk.
“Char, I swear. Mama and Daddy have been workin’ me to death on this farm. If you didn’t get home soon, I might actually have had to take care of those stupid goats, not to mention sloppin’ the hogs. Yuck!”
I should have known Tessa was more excited because that meant less work for her, but that’s my sis, always missin’ when a little hard work needs to be done.
“Hey, hun, I’m glad you’re home. Your dad’s gone into town to get a few posts for the fence. I don’t know what has gotten into that bull out there. It’s like he just doesn’t know which side he belongs,” Mama says.
I pop the trunk and grab my bags. Mama grabs my laundry basket, and we make our way into the house.
As I walk through the screen door, the sound of an F250 that I’d know anywhere rings in my ears. I smile and throw my bag at the bottom of the stairs. I do a one-eighty, press the screen door open, jump off the stairs, and run as fast as my legs will go to that perfect sound. Cash opens the door and steps out in one swift motion. He has on a pair of jeans, a white plaid pearl snap, camo hat, and boots. Damn. I jump straight into his arms and hold him as close as possible.
“Miss me much?” He winks.
I begin to laugh uncontrollably. “You know, I just used that line on Tessa.” I pull him closer. He looks into my eyes, smiles with that damn dimple, and I feel complete. Cash Money makes me whole.
He finally puts me down when he hears the screen door open. I see Tessa standing there with her hands on her hips. “Um, did y’all plan that?”
“Plan what, Tess?” I question as I straighten my long-sleeved white shirt. Then, it dawns on me. Jeans, white shirt, camo hat, and boots. Cash and I look like we planned our freakin’ wardrobe.
“What can I say? Great minds think alike,” Cash says as he slaps my ass while we walk toward the house. We go inside and Mama has lunch waiting.

Chelly’s Thoughts
Gia Marcone has the life everyone wants. At 29, she’s beautiful, smart, has a great job with a wonderful boss, but she still looks forward to her annual 2 week vacation to the Jersey shore. The first week is always spent alone – reading, lounging on the beach, and just relaxing. Week two gets a little more exciting when her best friends from college show up. This year’s retreat isn’t proving to be very relaxing at all, all because of the hot stranger she sees at the grocery store. He keeps popping up everywhere and she asks him to leave her alone but he won’t give up.
Joe Manzione is Mr. tall, dark, and handsome from the grocery store. He is immediately attracted to Gia, and when he overhears her plans, he decides to “accidentally” run into her. Gia denies him at first but he won’t give up that easily, he has to know more about her.
Gia has been burned in the past by a guy, so her reluctance to Joe is understandable, but how long can she resist him? When Gia’s friends make it into town, Joe brings some of his own, and it proves to be a good time for everyone. When it’s time to go back to the real world, can their relationship withstand the distance?
My biggest complaint for this story is that everything seemed so fast-paced and sort of skimmed over. I would have loved to see more detail in some of the situations. However, there was a surprising turn of events near the end that I wasn’t expecting and I enjoyed that. Run For Love is a solid debut from Anna V. Moore, and I enjoyed seeing Joe and Gia fall for each other. I look forward to seeing her grow as an author.

We all hope and dream to find that one person that makes us whole, the one person who will love us no matter what, and the one person that makes life worth living.
Dax and Charlee’s relationship is what most girls dream of as little girls. Falling for the guy next door, perfect body, perfect voice, just damn perfect in every way. Their relationship is one that is hot from the get go… once it gets going. These two have never had a problem with the opposite sex, but for some reason, they act like total goof balls! Weather it be Charlee at a loss for words, giving Dax the wrong impression with his roommate, or Dax going stalker on her. Once they make their feelings known, the rest is history… that is until…
If you had to chose between your family that has had your back forever and the love of you life… what do you choose? How do those choices impact your life? What happens when you realize you were wrong?
This is exactly what happens in Dax & Charlee’s relationship. Can they find their way back together or is it to late? The ending of this book pulled at my heart. I wanted them to be together, but what about the futures they had built? Could they let go of their present? This had me pulling for Dax and Charlee, but also made my heart hurt for Dax’s wife. Knowing that someone doesn’t love you like another women has got to be one of the worst feelings on the planet, but what his wife does is phenomenal! I sure don’t know if I could be the bigger person.
While Dax and Charlee are the main characters, there are several characters that play major rolls in the events in this book: Trevor, Taylor, Aaron, and Rachael. Each of these individuals bring different rolls to the table… some are good and others well… I’ll let you be the judge of that!
Forever and Almost Always is another fabulous read front he AMAZING Amanda Bennett. She never ceases to amaze me, and I wait impatiently for her next release. Two other tie bits I just loved were Charlee and Casey… I think that speaks for it’s self! 
DaxAs I sit here in my truck staring at the note her best friend left me, I can’t help but replay the first day I told her I loved her over and over in my mind. I had never said those three words to any other girl in my entire life, and when I said them to her, she melted. I melted right along with her, but I clearly remember her melting. I had the one woman I had ever wanted in my arms as I made love to her in her pool. With every moan and every look, the feeling intensified. I never wanted to let this girl go, and as I whispered those three little words into her ear, as I thrust myself deep inside of her one last time, I knew in that instant that she would forever have my heart.
