Release day: Becoming His Master is live

Henry: “I won’t touch him when his need is so raw and untrained.”
Nothing brings on the jitters like a book birthday.
Writing a book is an amazing experience; my biggest concern during the writing phase is making sure I stay true to the characters. Every book I write is the best effort I can put forth to share the truth of these characters and their lives. But on book release day, the biggest question is whether those characters will resonate with readers. Will you love them, too?
So today, a...

Henry Bennett Webb, Kensington’s Ultimate Hero
I’m sure Alice and Jay would be quick to point out that Henry is their ultimate hero and enforce a look-but-don’t-touch barricade around him.
Henry’s victory in the Kensington Ultimate Hero competition is entirely due to the unshakeable determination of his loyal readers. Thank you for all of the votes cast that brought him to this point — but thank you even more for spending all of those late nights with him, wondering whether Alice would ever stop rationalizing and start accepting her feel...

Make a Valentine’s Day visit for books and chitchat
I’m spending part of Valentine’s Day with some of my favorite people: readers and writers.
More than 20 authors are participating in the Love Is in the Air event at Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. If you’re in the area, stop by between noon at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, and say hello!
We’ll be raffling off prize baskets piled with goodies, the authors will have books to sell or give away, and the greenhouse has special lunch deals and crafts for kids.

New book: Her Shirtless Gentleman complete
I’m incredibly nervous and excited about this book — Her Shirtless Gentleman is my first non-Neighborly Affection novel.
I’ve finished my part of the job and turned the completed book over to the copy editor today. The copy editor will ferret out any problems I might have gone blind to while poring over the same text again and again. (Trust me, it happens, no matter how careful a writer you are. An eagle-eyed copy editor is priceless.)

Her Shirtless Gentleman got the print treatment for its fin...
