This has been written abougt before, It’s just so weird to me how ‘blank’ John is here, and on the tarmac scene. It’s like he’s just not showing ANYTHING. It’s so out of character. Like his reaction to the “over dose” is there but not as much as it shoudl be, and he doesn’t do any of the doctor stuff he should if he thikns Sherlock is O.D’ing.
Even in these gifs he just looks… blank, not like the usual John Watson.
I have to assume/hope this is for a damn good reason, which will be revealed in S4, like he’s trying to keep his feelings veiled or something.
Omg I could not agree more - Sherlock just sacrificed his freedom and future (life) for Mary (John). HOW could John not be fervently motivated here? He should be at the very least, thanking him. I’m actually very worried that our dads are are pulling back where John is concerned. Mofatt said in a season 4 interview last week “John is married to the love of his life, Mary” ……. I actually felt ill.
Ugh! That makes me ill too. But they have to just be trying to set people up to be “shocked”. There’s no way, the way they showed Mary in HLV and TAB, they intend to keep the “happy couple” going.

*Note: The curtain have a flower pattern, which makes them look rather feminine.

This is pure speculaltion @madfoxx, but after seeing Mrs. Hudson’s curtains not quite matching earlier and your rundown of other possibilities, I have a strong feeling that these might belong in Molly’s flat and that the scene may take place after TRF. What do you think?

Rupert headed back to London yesterday, which is good since we knew from last week that he was set to begin filming today.
Daniel Hoffmann-Gill (Gold Teeth) said that he met Ben last week, which may potentially mean that Ben did indeed film some scenes at Portland House.
Rachely Talalay (director) said that today was a fabulous day on set.
Claire Pritchard (hair/makeup) kept the wig or no wig discourse going.
We got our first picture of Ben on set, thanks to Mark Gatiss. There was a lot of discussion about the potential location of the photo, based mostly on the curtains seen in the picture, but there does not seem to be a definite match from anywhere we’ve seen in the series so far.
