Unconfirmed report that the filming at Margam was a christening

When the setlockers reblog a reply to your tweet before you even see it yourself!
You all are awesome. So on top of things.
Interesting! So if they’re going this far with the baby – it’s born, there’s a Christening – then I can only see two options story-telling wise. 1. It turns out not to be John’s baby, he’s devastated, because he was already attached. 2. Mary is taken out of the picture and John and Sherlock raise the baby.
Yes, hypothetically they could also kill the baby, but that’s so harsh. You rarely see that on screen.

in series 1 and 2, when we look through John’s perspective, they save each other from outside sources, they protect each other from the things outside that want to hurt them
in series 3, when we look through Sherlock’s perspective, all we see is Sherlock trying to save John from himself
even when Sherlock is shot, he uses Moriarty to convince himself to die, right up until Moriarty makes it clear that John is in danger and Sherlock can’t be done protecting him yet. and then Sherlock doesn’t try to eliminate the threat. he just makes John aware of it. and tells John it’s okay if he loves her anyway. and shoots Magnussen to make sure John can choose her if he wants her. and flies away to his death and constructs an elaborate victorian fantasy world where Mary can be construed as sneaky but ultimately, not the enemy. and let us not forget that Moriarty is a direct threat to John and always has been, and Sherlock focuses on that so he doesn’t have to think about Mary.
if there’s a plan working against Mary by the start of tab, I think it must be John’s plan, because they gave us an overdose and everything to show how Sherlock has already given up.
True. I’m ready for John’s plan! Please God.

I am going to post Mark’s tweets now
Of course he’d be a Smiths fan…
Interesting! If it’s not love it’s the bomb that will bring (John and Sherlock) together?

Setlock Recap, 4.15.16
Rachel Talalay (director) handed out some appreciation for something Arwel built yesterday.
Claire Pritchard (hair/makeup) tweeted a Romeo and Juliet-inspired pic.
Arwel gave us a few glimpses at some familiar pieces of 221B–the Mars binoculars from Sherlock’s desk (perched on what appears to be John’s chair), Billy the skull, and the front door open to the entryway.
We got more unconfirmed info about yesterday’s filming in Margam Park, which again was said to likely be a wedding scene, with filming possibly taking place in Margam Abbey rather than/in addition to the Orangery. I also got an ask that further added to the speculation.
A couple people reported on twitter that there was filming taking place in Cardiff, reportedly on Cathedral Road. There was a lot of speculation about potential locations based on past filming locations, but nothing was ever confirmed. (It may not even have been for Sherlock at all, as there are several other things filming in the area.)
filming on cathedral road was definitely not for Sherlock. (see ruther)

A similar location was used as train guy’s place in TEH, which is on the corner of Llandaf & Cathedral and is called Melrose Court. Here it is from 2013:

but not confirmed yet and it COULD BE DRESSED AS ANYTHING
Alternatively, Cathedral Road with John’s surgery was at 19A High St, Cardiff CF5 2DY, so could be that?
Filming could also be at the location of the empty hearse club which was also on 73 Cathedral Road (Carlton House)

Here’s a map of the three locations. Again though…they could redress any of the spaces?

Hello! I'm afraid I don't have much information or confirmation on this, and I'm not sure whether it might be relevant or useful (I don't have much knowledge of how the TV industry works unfortunately) but since there's been rumours of a wedding I thought
According to my friend (unfortunately she doesn’t watch the show, so her info is a little vague, and she doesn’t know much herself) this extra was involved in filming recently - possibly last week, but I don’t know for certain. I don’t know if this has any significance with her last role or not, or whether this is interesting at all, but I thought I’d put it out there just in case, since the fandom seems to go for anything ;) thank you, and thanks for service to the Sherlock fandom! :)
Hi, there. Thanks for sending this in! There is practically no way for me to confirm this rn obviously. That being said, it’s just as potentially valid as anything that we find posted on twitter or elsewhere, so I’m going to share it and let everyone take it how they will. I’ll just be sure to remind y’all that this is unconfirmed and to keep that in mind when speculating or reblogging.
