Title: Hail MarySeries: Hail Raisers #6Author: Lani Lynn ...

Title: Hail MarySeries: Hail Raisers #6Author: Lani Lynn ValeGenre: Romance Suspense Release Date: February 9, 2018 Mary Persephone Hail Mary—well-wished-for child. Persephone—destruction. Hail—well that speaks for itself. Her name is painful to think about. Mary, his newfound daughter, isn’t a wished-for child. Persephone, though? Yeah, destruction is a fitting description. And Hail? Yeah, that’s just the final f-you. The moment that her mother drops her off on his doorstep, Dante’s hell becomes complete. Or so he thinks. What can make life worse after losing one’s wife and kids, you ask? Here’s what: being given a baby that depends on him for her survival. Finding out that the baby’s mother is dying of brain cancer, and has a husband that he never knew about. A husband that Dante knows in the marrow of his bones is trying to kill her just as surely as the cancer eating her brain. Dante’s a bad person. He’s done some not so nice things, and now he’s being punished for his misdeeds. Karma is finally catching up to him. This child that he’s been stuck with is of his flesh and bone. This child is his salvation. This child is the final nail in the coffin of his wife and daughters’ too short lives. He doesn’t want this child. But this child will save him whether he wants her to or not. With the help of a friend—yes, a woman friend—Dante finds his way back to life. But what he finds when he gets back isn’t the same life that he left behind. Turns out, he has to start living a new one. One where he's suddenly having feelings for a friend that helped him get through some tough times, and loving a daughter that won’t let him quit.

We've been waiting on Dante's book for what seems like...ever!! We've seen him drop in on the family and whatnot and do some questionable things, but what we haven't gotten to do is really see him be an up close and personal dad. We get to see that in this book and the woman that steals his heart. There was a lot of drama in this one and angst. The ex-husband of his one night stand who was just a whacko- I don't know what to think about that other than he was needing some group therapy with a baseball bat. This book raised a bunch more questions about Rafe and I was still asking myself "What in the world is going to happen in their book?" I'm not really good at waiting for the authors next books. This was touted the book of the Year and it was that.

I was given an ARC copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect anyone else's.

The Book Splash Horror Story by: Cassia Brightmore AuthorGenre: Dark RomanceRelease Date: February 9, 2018Cover Design: Just Write Creations

Vacationing with a splash of blood…
Rennie Laval was about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. A virgin cruiser, what better way to pop her cherry than onboard the luxurious Norwegian. Set to sail to the sunny Caribbean on a week long vacation, her only expectation was to soak up the warm sun, and spectacular sights, all while consuming frothy umbrella drinks.
Travelling solo didn’t faze her, not when she would be a part of a group of cruisers, known fondly as “Book Splashers.” A unique author signing event at sea, getting the chance to attend was a dream come true for an avid reader like Rennie. The large group of more than three hundred authors, readers, photographers, models had welcomed her with open arms. The hosts, Harper Sloan and Felicia Lynn, reassuring her she’d never be left on her own.
Duke Kincaid was fed up with life. After catching his fiancee in bed with his best friend, he spontaneously booked himself on a cruise, needing to get away from their betrayal. A Caribbean vacation was just the escape he needed. Colliding with another solo traveller while boarding, a beautiful brunette, seemed like fate. A little fling on the open waters would definitely go a long way to wiping out unwanted memories.
While he and Rennie grow closer on and off board the ship, they’re both flung headfirst into a nightmare when members of the Book Splash start showing up dead. The first tragic death seemed like an accident, but when the body count rises higher than imaginable, and the deaths become more gruesome, it’s clear that a sinister force is stalking the ship, focused on the members of their group.
Trapped in the middle of the ocean. Ensnared in a deadly game of kill or be killed. What would you do in order to ensure your own survival?
For Rennie, Duke and the Book Splashers, their dream vacation may be their last.

I can honestly say that after reading this book and getting ready to be on this cruise...I'm not sure I want too lol! I know it's a book and it's fiction, but ya know what?  I'm a little wigged out after reading that and knowing that I'm going to have to go to my cabin all by myself. So yeah, this book had me guessing to the very end and then when I read the end - I read it again to make sure I was correct in what I was reading because it was that creepy. So, if you want a creepy story that will undoubtedly keep you up...This is your book!!

THERE ARE NO DOUCHEBAGS IN THIS ...

THERE ARE NO DOUCHEBAGS IN THIS STORY. Well, there are, but they’re not who this story is about. This story is about me—the coach’s daughter. When I moved to Iowa to live with my dad, the university's take-no-prisoners wrestling coach, I thought transferring would be easy as pie—living with my father would be temporary, and he'd make sure his douchebag wrestlers left me alone. Wrong on both counts. ASSHOLES ALWAYS COME OUT OF THE WOODWORK WHEN THE STAKES ARE HIGH. A bet is placed, and I'm on the table. After one humiliating night and too much alcohol, I find the last nice guy on campus. And when he offers to rent me his spare bedroom, I go all in. It’s time for the nice guy to finish first. Midnight chats and spilling my problems turn to lingering touches. Lingering touches turn to more. And the ultimate good guy has the potential do more damage than any douchebags ever could.
AMAZON | AMAZON UK | AMAZON AU      She perks up. “Wait, you’ve never had a back massage?”   “No?”   “Ever?”   “Nope.”   “Well, what the hell? How can I, in good conscience, lie here letting you rub my back when you’ve never had anyone rub yours?” She scoots over, pointing to the mattress. “Lie on your stomach, I’ll do you first.”   I wave my hands in front of me in protest. The last thing I need is her warm hands roaming my body. “No, no, you don’t have to. It’s not a big deal.”   “Are you crazy? Back massages are the best—like, better than an orgasm. You’re first, so lie down.”   “And you call me the bossy one?”   “Quit stalling and get on the bed.”   Obediently, I climb to the middle of my bed in nothing but a pair of gym shorts, legs hanging off the side. Next to me, the mattress dips, Anabelle on her knees, approaching my side.   A finger glides down my spine. “It will be easier for me to do this if I’m sitting on you. Hope that’s okay.”   “Is that the approved method?”   “No, but my arms will get tired if I have to lean over you the whole time.”   “Do whatever then, I don’t care.”   I stiffen when Anabelle swings one leg over my body, straddling my ass. Warm palms at my lower back.   “You’re so tense. Try to relax,” she coos, making it worse. “Tilt your head to the side, that’s it.”   I hear the lotion bottle snap open. Click closed. My roommate’s palms rubbing together, warming it up. “Sorry, I don’t have any actual massage oil. This will have to do.”   When her hands make contact with my back, I almost groan it feels so fucking good. Warm. Smooth. Pressure in all the right places, pushing gently into my muscles.   Slowly.   Slower still, caressing along my shoulders, thumbs and fingers working together to soothe the burning on my right side.   “Doesn’t this feel great?” Her soft voice cuts into the silence. “You’re loosening up. That’s good.”   I feel her leaning as her hands move up and down my spine until they stop, hovering at the base of my neck. Thumbs stroking the skin below my hairline, back and forth.   Kneading.   Her torso dips, hands maneuvering my arms, placing them at my sides. Palms slide up and down my biceps.   For several minutes, she rubs my arms and shoulders. Then she skims down my ribcage unhurriedly, in no rush, making little humming sounds inside her throat.   I know I’m not imagining the feather-light way her hands drift down my spine. I remain still, letting her touch me, basking in it.   Remain still when her lips kiss the tender spot of my shoulder where it meets my neck, nose nuzzling behind my ear, her breasts rubbing against my back and what the fuck was that all about? What does she think she’s doing, trying to drive me insane?

What can I say about this book? Not a whole lot because of the blurb!! The thing about the author are her blurbs - you never know who the hero is gonna be about....it could be about someone you don't like or it could be about someone you love, but you have to read to find out. So, what can I tell you? I can admittedly say it's about the coach's daughter lol

Title: ReviveSeries: The Vindicated Series #3Authors: Addison Jane & KE OsbornGenre: Romantic SuspenseRelease Date: February 7 Cocky, sarcastic, broken—I grew up in hell and was tossed to the curb by the woman who was meant to love me unconditionally. Humor is my go-to, the thing I use to protect the already shattered pieces inside me.

I fought damn hard to get to where I am today.

I have everything I’ve ever wanted.

Except maybe her.

When she strolls into The Agency with a confident smirk on her face, she doesn’t even give me a second look. She’s sexy, sassy, and refuses to fall for a single one of my lines which only makes me want her more. What starts as a challenge quickly changes when I realize she isn’t like other girls.

She’s got fire in her eyes—a fire that I see in the mirror every single day. It’s born out of loss and a refusal to settle for just being broken.

She sees me, she hears me—she understands me.

But when a mission doesn’t go as planned and things begin to crumble around us, my first instinct is to protect her, to push her away and make sure that she isn’t dragged into the chaos that swirls around me.

But what if I’m wrong?

What if instead of protecting her, I’ve left her defenseless.

Making her a target.

F R O S T

Ella

Since I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by hate, death, murder, and slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by my brother—Raze, the kingpin of the underworld and the most feared individual in the United States of America. And then further more guarded when I found out the president of The Devil’s Own MC was my long lost half-brother. Being tossed around from one extreme protection to another has left a part of me yearning to break out of it's cage. The part that I've tried to sugar coat and hide, because if she's unleashed, everyone would see just how much like my brothers I am.

Panting, wanting, needing to unleash the side of me I’ve always known was there.

My secret is mine and my brothers.

Only they know what I hide and why I hide it. How I fight for love because if I don't, my rage would win and I’d be a mere shadow of the girl people have grown to know.

But I broke.

And the man who held the hammer that shattered the walls I spent years building to cage in my rage—was a psychopath.

This is not a heart and flowers book and if that's what you're looking for - well look somewhere else. If the blurb doesn't scare you away...you've been warned twice. This definitely isn't a book for the faint of heart, with scenes where the heroine is popping in her earphones and listening to music while she kills a roomful of men. There were times I sat there reading through my fingers to see what happened next...and you know it was a lot of blood. Not once was I not shocked because the author brings that on like a hurricane...she's used to it and at this point in the game - why stop?
Frost was a weird dude. He wouldn't be my friend that's all I can say. He was what I would call 'insane in membrane' and Ella just loved him the way he was. If you've read all her other books then you'll pick this one up and if you haven't read her books then start at the beginning!
I was given an ARC copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect anyone else's.

Traditions are important. Especially in the South. College football. Rivalries. Tailgating. Halftime shows. Some things just don’t change. Until Reese Holland shows up with her long legs and no-bullshit attitude to audition for the prestigious all-male Rodner University snare line. It doesn’t matter how much hazing she has to endure from Laird Bronson, with his narrowed green eyes and arrogant smirk. She wants that damn spot, and she’s more than good enough to earn it. She expects there to be tension. Even friction. But not sparks hot enough to burn the entire campus down.

USA Today bestseller Stacy Kestwick is a Southern girl who firmly believes mornings should be outlawed. Her perfect day would include puppies, carbohydrates, and lounging on a hammock with a good book. No adulting, cleaning, or bacon allowed.

Stephen always wanted to be an audiobook narrator. As someone who never liked the whole "reading silently" thing, and has had a lifelong penchant for performing and flair for the dramatic, it was inevitable that he would be doing this for a living. With dozens of titles to his credit, a majority of them steamy romance novels, he has had the pleasure of voicing characters from the Great Plains of Texas, the bayous of Louisiana, the streets of South Boston, the dungeons of a vampire's castle, the deserts of Mars, and everything in between. It has been an honor to bring such amazing stories by Penny Reid (Marriage Of Inconvenience), Krista & Becca Ritchie (Hothouse Flower), Lex Martin (Shameless), Mia Sheridan (Kyland), and so many more incredibly talented authors, to life. I admit that I'm one of those people who DO look at the cover before I read or listen to a book. I loved this thing. Did I think there was way too much sexy times in it? Admittedly yes. But people know that I like my romances a little less on the sexy side and more on the plot side...HOWEVER and here's the thing - this book had a lot of plot. The author outdid herself telling the story. The narrators were so awesome doing their thing that I was enmeshed in the tale of Laird and Reese's love story and couldn't put it down. My heart broke for Eli and I admit that I had the Kleenex near by. Anyone with a heart will feel the pain behind the words of anyone that's ever lost someone or lived with someone who has had cancer. As a survivor, this hit very close to home and brought all those feeling back to the surface and I loved every minute of it. It's not often that I give people a personal glimpse at my life, but when you're feeling a book like I was feeling this one...there is no sleep!!

Barbara (Goodreads) - “OH MY - the feels! The story is Jam-packed with emotions.”Konny (Goodreads) - “I started reading and was captivated from page one.”AC Squared Book Blog - “As a whole I loved how different this book was. It wasn't perfect, it wasn't always happy, and it was just so real! We need more of this!”

This book was a lot different than all the other books I've read by the author...All her other novels have some sort of a theme where love prevails all and there's a feeling of the alpha knowing the heroine is the one. In this book, I felt like "Yes, he loves his wife and he wants it to work, but to what end?" I felt like this was a true to life scenario and many times in our lives we haves things that make our relationships drift apart, but do we do the easy thing and leave or do we do the hard thing and fight to stay? I could very easily see where this was going and there were times I was like "Uh, i wouldn't do that!" Then again, I'm not a heroine in a book and my life isn't fiction

“Look The Part is my new top favorite from the inimitable Jewel E. Ann. Delightfully quirky, funny but deeply emotional, Look The Part was pitch perfect. I loved everything about this five-star read!” - USA Today bestseller Ella JamesLook the Part, an all-new “emotional and breathtaking” standalone from Jewel E. Ann is available NOW! LookThePart Full
Synopsis Flint Hopkins finds the perfect tenant to rent the space above his Minneapolis-based law office. All the T’s are crossed and I’s dotted on Ellen’s application. Her references are good. And she’s easy on the eyes.Until …Flint discovers Ellen Rodgers, Board-Certified Music Therapist, plays music. Bongos, guitars, singing—not Beethoven administered through noise-cancelling headphones. The cut-throat attorney serves up an eviction notice to the bubbly, constantly-humming redhead who's too sexy for her own good. But luck is on Ellen’s side when Flint’s autistic son, Harrison, takes an instant liking to her. A single dad can’t compete with guitars—and rats. Yes, she has pet rats. This woman …She’s annoyingly happy with a constant need to touch him—adjust his tie, button his shirt, invade his space, and mess with his mind.Still …She must go.Their lust-hate relationship escalates into something beautiful and tragic. This sexy, romantic-comedy explores the things we want, the things we need, and the impossible decisions parents and children make to survive.Excerpt: There’s something thrilling, even a little forbidden, about a man in a perfectly-tailored suit. Flint Hopkins wears the hell out of a three-piece suit. Not a single wrinkle. Not a hair out of place. Not a scuff mark on his shiny shoes. His lips move, but all I hear is “I wore this suit for you today” as his hands make their rounds: caressing the buttons on his jacket, twisting his cufflinks, and adjusting his tie. It’s sophisticated fidgeting. “You said you’re a therapist, not a music teacher.” Observant men are sexy too. “I did. And I am. Specifically, I’m a music therapist. Do you want me to explain what a music therapist does?” “No. I just want you to look for a different space to rent. I’ll give you two weeks.” He turns and makes it out the door in three long strides. My toes are on his heels in seconds, chasing him down the stairs. “Wait? You’re evicting me?” “I’m giving you notice.” “Notice? You’re kicking me out for what? Doing my job?” “Preventing me from doing mine.” He pushes through the door at the bottom of the stairs and makes a sharp right. “Hey, Boss, how’d it—” Amanda’s gaze moves from Flint to me as I follow him into his office. “Hi, Amanda. Would you happen to have the name of a good real estate attorney? I may need to sue my landlord for wrongful eviction.” “Um …” Flint turns, halting my forward momentum a second shy of slamming into his chest. “Shut my door, Amanda.” His eyes narrow. I don’t care how hot this guy looks in a suit. I won’t recoil under his glower. “Please leave it open, Amanda. I may need you to be my witness.” Arrogance tugs at his mouth. “A witness?” “For when you threaten me.” He unbuttons his jacket and takes a step back. A whoosh of oxygen leaves my chest like it’s attached to him. The man has an air of confidence and mystery about him that commands attention. When he turned around to face me a few seconds ago, I sensed the slightest agitation in his narrowed eyes and flared nostrils, but not anymore. It’s not hard to imagine Flint Hopkins in a courtroom—cool, calculated, ruthless. “You seem to be an intelligent person, so surely you can see how the noise level of your profession could distract me from doing mine. I think sharing space with other businesses is not a good idea. You need a building of your own or maybe you should work out of your house.” “I live in an apartment. And I’m sorry, Mr. Money Bags, but I don’t have the cash flow to buy or rent a building all to myself. You’re an attorney. How often are you even in your office? And when you are, what are you doing that requires complete silence? Charming snakes? Narrating audio books?”JEA-LTP-fbAN2

This book was so different than anything I've read before and I loved it. Flint was so surly and he had a right to be. He had some hard knocks in his life. His child was autistic, but that didn't keep him from doing things or from wanting the best life for him. So often, I see parents treat their kids with kid gloves and really they just want to be treated normally and that's how Ellen treats "Harry" with as much normalcy as she can. As much as Flint tries to kick her out - Ellen holds on. This was truly one of those books that sticks with you even after you've finished.
