Blog Tour: Passionate Addiction by Eden Summers

Passionate Addiction by Eden Summers Book 2 in the Reckless Beat rock star series.

He’s been her ultimate untouchable desire.
Nothing says happy birthday like a rock god flying thousands of miles to surprise a woman he's never met. But that's exactly what happens to Gabi Smith when she gives her long distance best friend a flippant invitation to her laid back girl’s night out. She never expected to turn on the dance floor and find Blake Kennedy’s gaze holding her body captive.
She’s his everything and he’s never laid eyes on her.
Gabi means more to Blake than life itself. She’s his strength, his savior, and the only person who helped to vanquish his demons. No one means more to him than his angel. So when things between them start to sizzle, he's ready to fight for the future he never thought he would deserve.
Skeletons from his past will threaten his only chance at love...
Blake has come a long way—with Gabi's help—to leave the hell of his youth behind him, but sometimes memories don’t want to stay buried. Determined to stand on his own for once, Blake is willing to stretch the truth to keep his troubles from burdening the woman he adores.
Little white lies can create black holes in any relationship. Only time will tell if an Aussie with a heart of gold will forgive her bad-boy boyfriend or if the deceit will end his passionate addiction.

In late 2010, Eden’s romance obsession could no longer be sated by reading alone, so she decided to give voice to the sexy men and sassy women in her mind.
Eden can’t resist alpha dominance, dark features and sarcasm in her fictional heroes and loves a strong heroine who knows when to bite her tongue but also serves retribution with a feminine smile on her face.

Countdown to Release Day: Without Doubt by C.J. Azevedo
We're so excited to be part of the countdown to release day for Without Doubt by C.J. Azevedo. This is the second standalone novel in the Without Series and releases 6 January 2014. Read on for an excerpt
Ava Sterling is tough and the most straight laced girl you will ever meet. Her family and her past have managed to alter her future permanently and she has no desire to allow anyone else into her life or her heart for fear of rejection or further altering. Ava is alone in the world with the exception of the grandest responsibility she did not create on her own but on her own she will carry for the rest of her life.
Declan James is a MMA fighter, party all night kind of guy. Responsibility is nowhere to be found in his life or so he allows everyone around him to believe. Coming from wealth and a carefree lifestyle, Declan gets what he wants, always. And what he wants is Ava. In his pursuit of getting what he wants, Ava in his bed, his plan changes quickly without his consent. Against his plans of being the next hot bachelor to cross the tabloids as he makes his way to being the Ultimate Light Heavyweight Champion, Declan falls in love. He falls in love without hesitation and without doubt.
Neither Declan nor Ava are aware that fate has inconveniently intertwined their lives forever. Will they be able to survive the aftermath of the truth?
Ava sits up and straddles her legs on either side of my waist and takes a deep breath. “I hated everything about tonight.”
“About my fight?” I ask because I’m not sure I’m following her. Is she upset about Ashton or my reaction to them being together at the fight? She nods her head without looking at me so I sit up and wrap my arms around her. “I’m fine, babe. I’m really good at what I do, the chances of me getting really hurt are slim.”
She pops her head up quickly and narrows her eyes at me. “There is nothing funny about this, Declan! You scared the shit out of me!!” she exclaims just before punching me in the arm.
“Ow! What was that for?” I rub out the little sting on my bicep while mostly holding back a laugh, but I can’t hide my smile.
She quiets down but her eyes are terrified. “He kicked you in the head,” she whispers so softly I can hardly hear her. I have to laugh; I can’t help it.
“He kicked me in my head?” Did this surprise her?
“YES! Do you not remember that?” Her response is pure fear and I hate that I put that look on her face and that feeling in her heart.
“Yeah, I remember, Sunshine.” I smooth her hair away from her face and kiss her soundly. “I should have explained things to you, on how the fights work, what to expect. I would have if I knew you were going to show up, but I honestly thought that you were dead set against ever coming to one.”
Ava sighs. “I was, but then I felt like I wasn’t supporting you by not being there for you and I didn’t want you thinking that.”
I guide her backwards so she’s lying down with her head at the foot of the bed. I lean forward and slip my hands up her smooth thighs, placing small, lingering kisses along the way. My hands reach her hips and I’m reminded that she’s only wearing a nightie. “Hmmm, I love you so much. You are the sexiest woman I have ever known, Sunshine.” My hot breath whispers across her hip bones and over the skin just above her panty line (if she were wearing any). “I love the way you care about things other people don’t even take the time to think about.” My tongue draws a line up her abdomen, following her rising nightie. Her breathing has changed; it’s harsher and more rapid and I can’t get enough of it. My tongue swirls around her navel. “You make me so happy,” I kiss along her rib cage, “no matter what,” my tongue runs underneath her breast, “you don’t ever have to see another fight,” I kiss between her cleavage and slip her nightie off as I drag the tip of my nose to her ear, “just please don’t be upset over what I do. Don’t worry. Please? I need you, Ava, I need you like the air I breathe.” My tongue slides on the outer rim of her ear and I place a delicate kiss to her temple. I’m on top of her in a second, my elbows on either side of her head. My mouth connects with hers and although she has tears streaming down her face, there is no hesitation in her kiss.
Ava makes me feel like the word “love” was established just for us. Her and I. Me and her. I know that I would do anything for her, even become a damn accountant if that’s what she wished for on a bright, shining star. I would. It would be the toughest thing to possibly imagine but it wouldn’t be impossible. Surviving the loss of my relationship with her? That would be impossible.
CJ has lived all over the state of California, Central, South, North and finally landing back somewhere in the middle. She married the boy she fell for when she was only eleven years old and together they have two beautiful heathens. CJ obviously loves to read and write. She can watch the Giant’s play baseball but hates football. She bakes when she’s sad, runs when she’s mad and dances when she’s happy (even if she cant find a rhythm to save her life) If you’re looking for her and can’t seem to find her, look on the staircase, it’s her favorite spot to read.

We are extremely excited to be able to share with you the cover for Heather Lyons' The Deep End of the Sea!!
The cover alone is giving us chills! You can buy The Deep End of the Sea February 13, 2014!!
What if all the legends you’ve learned were wrong?
Brutally attacked by one god and unfairly cursed by another she faithfully served, Medusa has spent the last two thousand years living out her punishment on an enchanted isle in the Aegean Sea. A far cry from the monster legends depict, she’s spent her time educating herself, gardening, and desperately trying to frighten away adventure seekers who occasionally end up, much to her dismay, as statues when they manage to catch her off guard. As time marches on without her, Medusa wishes for nothing more than to be given a second chance at a life stolen away at far too young an age.
But then comes a day when Hermes, one of the few friends she still has and the only deity she trusts, petitions the rest of the gods and goddesses to reverse the curse. Thus begins a journey toward healing and redemption, of reclaiming a life after tragedy, and of just how powerful friendship and love can be—because sometimes, you have to sink in the deep end of the sea before you can rise back up again.
Heather Lyons has always had a thing for words—She’s been writing stories since she was a kid.
In addition to writing, she’s also been an archaeologist and a teacher. Heather is a rabid music fan, as evidenced by her (mostly) music-centric blog, and she’s married to an even larger music snob. They’re happily raising three kids who are mini music fiends who love to read and be read to.

By the time I had my clothes off she was already under the water. I could see the outline of her body through the frosted shower door. I swallowed hard before opening it up and joining her. She was facing away from me, and the water was cascading down her back onto that luscious ass of hers. I noticed she had a small tattoo of an angel’s halo, and wings on her left shoulder blade, and it looked sexy on her smooth skin. Stepping in behind her, I grabbed her by the waist. I knew she could feel how hard I already was for her. She pushed her hips back, putting pressure at the base of my dick. Turning around, she pressed herself up against me while she placed her hands around the back of my neck. She let out a soft moan as I rubbed the water around on her back and ass.
“Isaac, I know you said you wanted to wait, but I don’t think I can. I’ve been wanting to rub my hands all over your body since I first laid eyes on you. Please don’t make me wait.” She said in a pleading tone. I was so torn whether to be a good man and wait or to be greedy and make her mine. She must have sensed my inner fight I had going on. “I know we just met and you wanted to show me you could wait, but I need to touch you. We don’t have to have sex, just let me make you feel good.” Her hands were rubbing up and down my arms, and she was running her tongue along my collarbone. Shit, how could I say no to this?

She was born and raised in Upstate New York. She moved to Colorado Springs where she met her husband her junior year of high school. Although she will always call NY home, she can’t wait to get back to CO after her husband retires.
Growing up she actually hated english class. It was her least favorite subject. It wasn’t until recently that she discovered her love for reading. She would spend hours on her phone, or ipad and read book after book.
One day in September while in the shower, (yes the shower) the idea of Cadillac came to her. She wrote a general outline of the story that day, and that started it for her. That was the beginning of her journey as she is so excited to have made it this far.
Cadillac is her debut novel and she can’t wait for you to meet Isaac and Renee.
She already has plans on writing more.

Blog Tour: Falling by E.K. Blair

Fading by E.K. Blair is in Tami's top five list for this year. It was an incredibly powerful read and one that she highly recommends to everyone. When you have a reading experience like that you often wonder whether the author will be able to repeat it. Well, it's fair to say that E.K. Blair absolutely has. Falling is Ryan's story and getting to read things from his perspective is just amazing!

Suffering from years of violent abuse, Ryan Campbell has learned how to keep people from getting too close. But when you shut yourself off, people get hurt along the way. Never caring much about others, Ryan creates a world in which he doesn’t have to feel.
When Ryan meets Candace Parker, all of his walls slowly begin to crumble. Not sure of the truth of who she is, he feels his mind is playing tricks on him. Unable to force out the thoughts that consume him, Ryan is haunted by visions that torment him every time he looks at her. He finds himself swallowed by guilt and blame, but he’s unwilling to turn his back on the one person that could possibly save him.
You’ve heard Candace’s story in Fading, now hear Ryan’s.

She falls with her back against the side of the car and grabs on to my shirt as she’s crying, gasping for a decent intake of air.
“Jack is in there. We have to leave.”
“Who’s Jack?”
“Him! Jack is . . .” Her cries are strained when I see Jase approach, asking in shock, “Candace, what happened?”
“Jack’s inside.”
“Oh, shit!”
“Who the fuck is Jack?!” I scream, confused as fuck with what’s playing out in front of me.
“The guy that attacked her,” Jase tells me.
Everything stops.
Grabbing on to Candace’s shoulders, I demand, “Get in the car. Now.” I pull my keys out of my pocket and hand them to Jase, yelling at him, “Get her in the fucking car!”
Everything tunnels as I turn from everything good in my life and walk away.
One second. That’s all it took.
Suspended in a false reality where actions and consequences no longer exist. Where rage boils so deep inside your veins that you’d do almost anything to drain them. I’d bleed it all out for her.
Chaos. I’m in it when I slam through the doors and bark out, demanding only the way a feral animal would, “Where’s Jack?!”
When the guy to my left points him out, I come unleashed.

I fell in love with Ryan in Fading. He was sensitive to and supportive of Candace's needs. In Falling , I developed a full appreciation of just how much Ryan was grappling with his past, his present and his growing feelings for Candace. A violent father, drug use to mask his feelings, Ryan had detached from feeling as far as possible. As an adult his practice was hook-ups with women for sex, not even a hint of anything more. He worked and played hard and was satisifed with his lot in life.
That is, until he witnessed a violent attack on a young woman. Horrified by what he had seen and the extent of the damage inflicted on the tiny woman Ryan began to question the way he lived his life. He drew parallels to the way he 'used' women, and while he was never violent with them, he saw that his behaviour was almost as questionable as the rapists. With the images of the violent attack burned into his memory, the damaged face of the woman, swollen, bruised and bloodied to the point that she was unrecognisable, Ryan begins to re-think his life style.
When Ryan meets Candace for the first time he is intrigued by her. She is everything he doesn't normally look for in a woman but she invades his mind. He notices the similarity in stature to the rape victim but dismisses it as his mind seeking closure to that traumatic event. He pursues Candace, behaving in ways that are foreign to him and yet he is comfortable with and it is exactly what Candace needs. As their friendship grows he begins to face elements of his past in an effort to be enough for Candace. His fear of being like his father is great, his fear of love, equally so and yet he finds himself falling ...
"I never wanted to before, but with her, all I want to do is fall. Fall into her. Fall so deep inside of her heart so that I never have to be without her. That's what this girl does to me."Falling is beautifully written. E.K. Blair has a place on my favourite author list. I have read all three of her books: Fading, Freeing and Falling and each of them is a perfect escape from the world. The subject matter is not light, but there is a sense of hope throughout all of the books, not to mention a gorgeous love story, that softens the bleakness. Falling concludes perfectly. It gave me a look at the lives of all of the characters from this story and I was so thrilled to see what unfolded for all of them. In my mind, Fading, Falling and the companion novel Freeing are must reads.
5 out of 5 stars

Aside from writing, E.K. Blair finds pleasure in music, drinking her Starbucks in peace, and spending time with her friends. She's a thinker, an artist, a wife, a mom, and everything in between.

Title: Undone (Unbreakable #2) Author: Rebecca Shea Genre: New Adult Release Date: February 24, 2014 Cover Designer: Regina at Mae I Design and Photography (Website)
I’ve found it’s easier to share my body but not my soul. I need no one, yet I crave her.
Self-assured and independent, she doesn’t need me—but she wants me, and undeniably I want her too. At war with myself as I battle the secrets of my past, I don’t know if I can allow her to see the darkest parts of me, the parts I’ve left untouched—undone.
As she chips away at the walls I’ve built for years, I fear those secrets will hold me hostage from love—forever.
**This book is New Adult and contains mature subject matter. It is not intended for those under 17 years of age.**
Sliding into their chairs Matt and Lindsay both stare at me, waiting for me to say something.
“What?” I ask.
“Is she why we’re here?” Lindsay asks coyly. I smirk and take a drink of beer.
“Maybe.”
“Jesus, Lan, I did a double take there for a second, she reminds me so much of…”
“Linds,” Matt cuts her off. He’s tired of my sorry ass still moping around because of Jess. It’s been a year since she’s moved back to California and she’s now engaged. While I know I did the right thing in letting her go, I can’t help but wonder what if I could have been the man she needed? What if I could have changed for her? But I know I couldn’t, or wouldn’t. I would have hurt her. I would have drawn her in and pushed her away, because that’s what I do. But more importantly I knew I never had her heart, it always belonged to someone else.
“It’s okay. I thought the same thing when I saw her last night. The similarities are uncanny.”
“No shit,” Lindsay snorts taking a long pull of her drink through the skinny straw.
“Jesus, Lindsay, you’re so fucking blunt,” Matt says, finishing off the beer in his mug. I laugh because I’m used to it—it’s Lindsay.
“So what, I’ve got a thing for tall, leggy brunettes,” I shrug.
“You don’t have to say that twice,” Matt interjects. Lindsay smacks Matt’s shoulder and shakes her head. “And this is why we find ourselves at Mac’s bar on a Saturday night,” Matt motions with his head toward Reagan who is squeezing through the groups of people standing around the tables.
“She seems really nice,” Lindsay says finishing her drink. She shakes the tall glass and the ice rattles together. “Well would you look at that,” she says sarcastically, “looks like I need another drink.” She cranes her neck looking for Reagan. As she gets her attention and waves her over to our table, Lindsay smirks at me.
“Reagan, can I get another Grey Goose and cranberry? And as much as I love them, I’d like to be able to walk out of here in a few hours, so maybe ask Mac to take it easy on the vodka pour.” Reagan laughs.
“Of course.” Looking at our half full pitcher of beer, Reagan looks between Matt and I. “Is there anything else you two need?”
“I’ll take a glass of ice water, I’m driving tonight,” Matt explains. Reagan looks to me waiting for me to answer.
“No thanks, I’m good—for now. I’m sure I’ll want something later.” The remark is laced with undertones and Lindsay kicks me under the table while Matt lowers his head and laughs. Reagan gives me a little smirk and shakes her head while clearing the glasses off the table. Leaning into me, she whispers “Then maybe I’ll be back later.” I catch my breath as her long hair sweeps across my cheek and her arm brushes mine. But as she turns to leave she smirks and says over her shoulder
“Or maybe I won’t.”

“What?” I ask.
“Is she why we’re here?” Lindsay asks coyly. I smirk and take a drink of beer.
“Maybe.”
