Welcome to our stop on the blog tour for Private Show by Danielle Torella. This is book #2 in the Private Series.

Title: Private Show (Private #2)Author: Danielle TorellaRelease: January 27, 2014
Blog Tour Hosted by: Enticing Journey Book Promotions

The Seattle barista and art student is happy with her beautiful Brit boyfriend, Ben — especially in the bedroom. But while Ben’s her first, she’s hardly his. And Ben’s sexual history seems to be popping up in Tess’s face like something out of a zombie movie, and it has her questioning his commitment — and questioning whether his appealing alpha maleness is just a cover for a controlling personality.
Maybe one that’s meant to keep her from asking too many questions.
Is Ben the problem, or is everybody from his past the problem?
Tess is asking the questions, and pushing hard for answers.
Is Nicole, the ex-fiancé who cheated on Ben, trying to worm her way back into his life? Was there something between Ben and Tess’s best friend, Erin? Or what’s going on with Ben’s adored teenage sister, Caroline, and Ben’s best friend Dan? And how did Ben get Tess a job interview with Mr. Andrews, his sophisticated but slimy boss at the music magazine?
As Tess comes to learn, relationships — especially sexual ones — are as much about power as love. With each new discovery, she finds herself in a struggle to hold her head together as much as her heart.
And to find where her own power lies.

He stumbles back in pure shock and I was able to turn his head with my swing. I once again have an audience in a Starbucks. Damn … I better stop this, before I can no longer show my face in another one… He looks back at me and he looks pissed. Oh, shit. He closes his eyes stretches his neck and I can see him push his tongue to the left side of his cheek, making it look like he has a ball in his mouth.
He takes in a deep breath, points at me and says, “You’d better keep quiet, unless you want to hear all about what Ben’s been up to.”
Whew. I thought for a second there he was going to hit me back. Wait, what does he mean about what Ben’s been up to? I take a look around the shop and people quickly turn away. I am so pissed off and my wrist is killing me. I grab my jacket and bag and head out the door myself.

Book Blast: Oceans Collide by M.A. DeOlmos

Title: Ocean’s Collide (Oceans Trilogy #1)Author: M.A. DeOlmosGenre: New Adult 18+Publication Date: December 3, 2013Event Organized By: Literati Author Services, Inc.

I came close to having that once with my own family. I had a loving mother that treated me like her little princess. My father was, and still is, the biggest support system in my life, but even his love isn’t enough for me at times. I would have been a proud big sister at the age of seven, but Antonio Jr. was torn away from us before he was even born.
I was destined to be alone and hurt, both emotionally and physically scarred.
The only skeletons that remained of my once happy family was a father I adored, but who lived hundreds of miles away, and a mother whom I had spent most of my own life saving from her demons.
Like many people, they are scarred so deep that when they bleed, it is a reminder that they are still human.
I have a secret. A secret only I know about. I keep my secret well, and keep it hidden from the peeping eyes of the world.
At least I tried… that is until two angels barged into my life, and into my scattered heart. Their presence in my life spun me on my heels, turning my world yet again upside down, and right side up all at the same time.
What I find could either save me, or finally push me over the edge.
Here is my story…

The strangers strong and beautifully built arms came up and he steadied me with his hands on my shoulders. The current that was racing through my body jacked up a million fucking notches. Since my off the shoulder top was hanging dangerously low, the skin-to-skin contact was making me dizzy. I squeezed my knees together to fight for some form of control over my pussy. I looked up at the stranger who was also the same height as Law at about six foot two or maybe three. His tan was perfect defining his sharp jaw and facial features. His eyes were a warm milk chocolate brown that looked like they were rippling with deep sprinkles of green. His lips, oh my god his lips. He had those Tom Hardy lips that a girl just wanted to kiss, bite, suck, nip, and just do dirty things to. The right side of his mouth turned up into a smirk and the leaky faucet between my thighs finally sprung a massive panty-drenching leak. This gorgeous man standing in front of me looked like the best of Stephen Amell, Jon Ryan, Alex Pettyfer, and Tom Hardy all rolled up into one fucking dangerous beast.
His shoulders were wide and broad great for boxing. His torso reminded me of Law’s, long, lean, and well defined. He had on a black fitted T that was stretching to the max over his sculpted muscles and his dark denim Abercrombie jeans were dangerously low showing off the tips of his boxer briefs. “You okay Zena?” The deep voice asked again. Even his voice was too sexy to be legal. It sounded bad enough to be bottled up and sold as an illegal substance. It was deep and rumbled as he rolled the words off of those juicy lips. Shaking my head to clear away the spell I allowed myself to be pulled under I looked up into his eyes.
“The names Livie not Zena, and you are?” I didn’t mean to sound so bitchy but no one in the history of my life had been able to bring out that strong of a reaction out of me and my lady parts. Virgin lady parts at that! “I know I heard you yelling at Law for calling you Livie, is there something I’m missing?” he asked me as he leaned forwarded causing me to take an awkward step back. What the hell, I never back down from anyone! This sexy son of a bitch was pissing me off. “I don’t care what you heard. To you its Livie and to Law its Sunshine! You don’t need to know why and I don’t care to share why. Don’t call me Zena again!”
“I see you two have met.” I heard Law say from the hallway. The frown on his face and the way he was staring down this stranger put me at ease a little. He caught my gaze and winked at me. “Sunshine this here arrogant douche bag is my cousin Ocean Nathanial Hawthorne.”

Writing for me has always been my own secret escape into a land of wonders, opportunities; loves and so much trouble that I sometimes wonder if I need medication for the stories that pop into my head. I am now deciding to share my mystical mind and stories with the world, so that hopefully others may also find that little something extra they’ve been looking for. Thank you and I hope you enjoy my books.

Blog Tour: Every Second With You by Lauren Blakely

Welcome to our stop on the blog tour for Every Second With You by Lauren Blakely. Tami loved The Thrill of It and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next for Trey and Harley. Without spoiling her review, it's fair to say she wasn't disappointed with the continuation of their story. Make sure you enter the giveaway while you're here - and be sure to check out the Scavenger Hunt info - you could win a Kindle Fire HD!!

In the sequel to the bestselling new adult romance THE THRILL OF IT, Harley and Trey face new challenges that will make battling blackmail, sex addiction, and a virgin call girl past look easy…
I used to think love was a lie. Now I know it’s real, powerful, and I don’t want to lose it…But my future scares me, and there’s no way this can be happening, especially since I’ve finally broken free from all the people who wanted pieces of me. I don’t even know how to start over, but I have to find a way. So when I discover what my mother’s been keeping from me, it doesn’t make me hate her. It gives me hope for a new life, outside of New York. But the ties that bind me to this city are so strong, sometimes they are chains. If only I could leave with…
Trey...
I will do anything for her. She owns me, heart, mind and body. But when Harley tells me this, I am rocked to the core, and terrified of what happens next. Especially when now it’s not her past that chases me, it’s someone from my own. And that someone is messing with my head when I’m trying to be strong for Harley. But all I really want is to escape with the girl I love…For the rest of our lives.
How can you move forward when the past keeps chasing you?

But there’s no point in trying to apply reason. Logic has been factored out of the equation.
So, what’s next? Are we supposed to talk about baby names? Parenting philosophies? What hospital she wants to give birth at, like responsible adults discuss? Or the fact that we’re in college and this is happening? That we’re recovering addicts, junkies, fuck-ups with the worst possible parental role models ever?
I don’t know, I can’t know, and my feet feel unsteady and my breath is thin, but there is one thing I can hold on to—that I don’t want to lose touch with her. She is my rock, she is my hope, she is my every-fucking-thing, and so I don’t let go of her. I cling to her, my chin against her hair, her body gathered in my arms.
We stand there for minutes, our arms tangled so tightly together, our bodies snuggled close as if we can erase the distance and the fear if we’re entwined.
Soon, I pull apart, look her in the eyes, and opt for the naked truth. “I don’t have a clue what we’re supposed to do next. Or talk about. Or if I’m supposed to take you shopping for baby clothes, or touch your stomach all the time. All I know is, I fucking love you, and I’ll do whatever you need.”
Her shoulders seize up, and her eyes well, but she nods, seeming strong, steadfast. That’s my girl. My tough, badass, brave girl.
“I love you too. That’s all that matters, right? We’ll figure it all out somehow. As long as we’re together.”
“We will always be together,” I tell her, locking eyes with her, making sure she knows these words are the absolute truth. They are the foundation of how I live my life now. With her. With the certainty I have in this crazy love that we found in the most unlikely place. “Remember? Staying.”
“Staying,” she repeats, nodding. “Always.”
Then her hands slip up my shirt, and she runs her fingernails across my arrow tattoo. I rub her shoulder and bring my lips to kiss her heart and arrow. It’s like we’re sealing a promise. One that neither of us ever expected to make; not now, not like this.
But what choice do we have

Every Second With You presents a number of significant challenges for Harley and Trey. Having successfully worked through the early stages of rehabilitation from their addictions I really wanted them to have less drama and get the opportunity to enjoy the love growing between them, but that definitely wasn't the case. I don't want to disclose any of the story line as I always try not to write spoiler reviews - so all I will say is their commitment to each other and their recovery was absolutely tested. I loved the way their characters grew and how they dealt with their challenges. Blakely has created two gorgeous characters in Harley and Trey - I absolutely fell in love with both of them, not because of physical characteristics but because of their courage, their integrity and their belief in love.
If you've read The Thrill of It I don't think there is any question as to whether you should (or will) read Every Second With You . It is beautifully written. Blakely evoked such a wide range of emotions in me, but most importantly, had me invested in Harley and Trey. I felt their pain, their fear and their happiness throughout the story. I desperately wanted them to catch a break and cheered when things seemed to be falling into place for them. For two people so young and inexperienced in love they absolutely understood the work required to make it succeed and the value of what they had found with each other.
"Because it was mad love, crazy love, insane love. Because it was hard love, good love, true love. Because it was the real thing, and a love like that can't be stopped. A love like that is inevitable"
And this time, I was absolutely satisfied with the ending ;)

Blog Tour: How to Liv by Megan Keith

How to Liv by Megan Keith is FABULOUS!!! Plain and simple. Joel is hot, Liv is gorgeous and the story of them meeting and falling in love is simply gorgeous. For all of you that don't know what a Tim Tam is, you are really, really missing out - if you have an Aussie contact somewhere get them to send you a packet, it would be the perfect accompaniment as you read How to Liv.

Title: How to LivAuthor: Megan KeithGenre: Adult Contemporary RomanceCover Design: Cover to Cover Designs

Olivia Moore is your average hard working, down to earth, Aussie chick.
Taking each day as it comes, working in a factory, Olivia is just plodding along through life. She’s resigned herself to the fact she’s not going to get her happily ever after, a husband… kids… because she has given up on men - they lie and cheat, leaving a world of pain in their wake.
Then Olivia meets Joel.
Joel Turner is hard working, down to earth, sexy, kind, fun… in fact, he’s damn near perfect. Joel is exactly the type of man Olivia has always wanted. He stirs emotions in her that have laid dormant for years. He breaks down her walls, forcing Olivia to fall in love and to finally believe fairy tales really can come true.
Until she discovers something that could change it all.

“So we meet again,” a now familiar voice spoke softly.
I jumped, still cursing the broken tub of ice cream and turned to watch Tim Tam guy pushing his trolley to a stop at the back of the silver ute parked beside mine. What are the chances?
“Well, I feel like I have to introduce myself now.” He chuckled.
Introduce myself! Why didn’t I think of that?
He stepped a little closer and held out his hand.
“I’m Joel and I promise I’m not stalking you.”
“Olivia,” I said laughing, taking his hand. It was warm and slightly rough. It was strong and inviting and very, very hard to let go of. I blinked a couple of times and then dropped my hand to my side before I made even more of a fool of myself. I hope he can’t see the sweat on my brow.
“Nice to meet you,” he said with a genuinely heart pounding smile. “So Olivia, have you eaten?”
I picked up my packet of Tim Tams and saluted him with them.
“Dinner?” he asked disbelievingly.
“Yep,” I replied.
“You can’t be serious.” He chuckled.
“Deadly,” I said with a smile.
“Could I take you to a real dinner? Something with a little more nutrition, maybe?” He had a cheeky look on his face.
“Um…” I’m a sweaty mess, why is he even asking me?
Oh god, he’s single! And hot! And asking me out!

Being Australian, I loved that this was a book written by an Australian, about Australians, set in Australia. So many things were so familiar and relatable, which made it that much easier for me to lose myself in the story.
Liv has been burnt in the game of love (badly and more than once) so is not interested in the prospect of a relationship. Her self-confidence has been shattered and with her more glamorous, confident and outgoing sister to compete with, really what’s the point?? Liv is a caring and loyal friend, not a total recluse, but her time is spent mostly at work and she doesn’t believe she’ll ever get her happily ever after.
Liv encounters Joel at the supermarket and “ermahgerd” (to quote Liv’s sister Ally) he is perfect. P-E-R-F-E-C-T!! Hot, considerate, funny, sexy, talented and just a little controlling in the bedroom ... perfect!! Liv can’t believe he’s single, or that he would be interested in her. Despite her doubts, she finds herself falling for him and falling hard.
I loved watching the relationship between Liv and Joel unfold. They were nervous, they were funny and as they slowly started to relax a little they were gorgeous together. Liv’s past experiences are a significant challenge for her. She has trust issues and struggles with her fear of being hurt again, continually waiting for the “other shoe to drop” because surely what is going on is too good to be true? Joel has baggage of his own and despite his insistence on no secrets with Liv, he keeps one, never quite able to find the right time or the right way to disclose. This has dire consequences for the two and it was painful to read this unfold.
Megan Keith has an engaging writing style. I got lost in her characters and story very quickly. She establishes an environment that is detailed, without being overly so, but enough that I could visualise people and places easily. There are many fabulous characters in this story. I’ll confess I was not a fan of Liv’s sister Ally - suffice to say she treated her sister badly and yet Liv continued to allow her to live in her home and came to her defence regularly. Liv’s workmates were relatable, reminding me of my own co-workers and the fun we have. Adam and Raelene, Joel’s brother and sister in law were your typical, down to earth Aussie’s - and some of the conversations with Raelene were hilarious. I would be remiss in not mentioning Chelsea, Joel’s super gorgeous niece - she’s such a cutey!!
How to Liv sucked me in and kept me reading. I laughed, I had moments where my heart was breaking for the characters and let me tell you, Megan Keith can write some steamy bedroom scenes *fans face* ;) Go grab yourself a copy, a packet of Tim Tams and curl up for a thoroughly enjoyable read - oh and I dare you not to fall in love with Joel!
