Momo Looks A Lot Less Creepy When You See The Full Thing

I admit, even though I knew it was a hoax the Momo face was a bit creepy. However, then I saw the full tiny thing with no wings and little bird feet. Then it just wasn’t as creepy anymore for some reason. It’s only quite as creepy in just the zoomed in face shots. I don’t know why.

Why Do I Keep Doing This?!

Why do I keep doing this? I’m reading Clavell’s Gai-jin despite the fact that I didn’t like the first two books in the series that much. I’m over a week and a half in and I’m still just only over halfway through because I just don’t care for it much and can’t make myself read much at a time. The second volume was better than the first and with less pages spent on hysterically unbelievable fascination with white male genitals, but this one is like a combination of the first and the second and we’re right back to unbelievable white male genital fascination. This is some seriously bad middle-aged white guy Asia fascination fiction…but it’s so hard to stop in the middle of a series since I hate leaving things uncompleted. I’ve ordered the next two books in the series.

This is going to suck.

Ah…It’s That Time Of The Year Again

Ah, it’s that time of the year again. Time to get inundated with posts about AWP, particularly ones that tag me and/or otherwise ask you questions regarding my participation in it, despite the fact that I’m not going this time. I’ve gone to quite a few AWP conferences, but I don’t go to them all. I hear the most about the ones I don’t go to.

Oh well.
