My 3-4 FOOT TALL, REDDISH-HAIRED 'YETI' Encounter on Mt. Everest'

A college student was part of a Mt. Everest trek. During the climb, he encounters a 3-4 foot tall, thick reddish-haired primate, similar to an orangutan, climbing an ice fall. The Sherpa guide said that it was a Yeti.

I received the following account:

"During Christmas break in grad school in December 1983 - January 1984, I was part of a Mt. Everest trek. We weren’t going to summit — basically, we hiked from a small mountain town airstrip to the base camp at the Khumbu glacier where the real climbers take off from. Takes 10 days or so each way, with stops at monasteries along the way to adjust to the altitude.

It was winter in Nepal so most of the higher elevations were basically deserted. It’s very cold and rocky up there, not very inviting, but starkly beautiful. The pack train had gone on ahead to set up camp and we each just hiked along at our own pace until we caught up at the end of the day. It was mid-afternoon and as I rounded a sharp corner in the tiny, narrow mountain ledge trail I encountered a creature standing on the trail in front of an ice fall.

It was clearly a primate of some sort. Not huge, between 3 and 4 feet tall. Thick reddish hair like an orangutan. Long arms. We just sort of looked one another over for maybe 10 seconds and then he turned, climbed up the ice fall (maybe 20-25 feet), and vanished over the top. I didn’t feel threatened by him at all, but was very impressed by his speed and agility — he just zoomed up the sheer ice face and was gone. He didn’t seem to be startled and fleeing, just moving on. It left me nonplussed for a few minutes, but eventually I resumed hiking. When I told our Sherpa guide about it, he said it was a Yeti. Although his English was spotty, I got the impression there was a range of animals they considered to be a Yeti, not just the Johnny Quest-type abominable snowman we talk about over here. So whatever else is up there, at least in the early 1980s there were smallish apes with excellent climbing skills." BF

(PHOTOS) UFO & HUMANOID ENCOUNTER in Oilfield Near Coleman, Texas

An oilfield worker in north central Texas submitted photos and details of a sighting that he had during 8 days. He has included photos of the craft and an attempt to photograph a humanoid.

I received the following email:

"I work as a hazardous material transport driver in the oilfield in north central Texas. I have been following the mystery lights story around the area. I have been seeing these lights as well. I had 3 sightings in 8 days in 2010. I was asked by MUFON to capture these images on camera. On the night of March 2, 2011, I got way more than I bargained for.

While at work around 9pm - 10 miles northeast of Coleman, Texas I was observing strange lights above the treeline near me. I took several pictures. Then the lights began to move straight at me. They were large, silent, and unnervingly close. The shape of the craft could partially be seen now. It was 50 yards away and just hovering 50 feet above the ground and not making a sound. A large white light came on. I wanted to flee but was paralyzed with fear. I managed to get a shot with the camera.

There was a humanoid figure staring out of the opening. Definitely not human. I could see it from the waist area upward. I thought I would be abducted. To my relief, it began moving away slowly. The large white light went out and soon the lights disappeared. Some lights were moving overhead around my location. 20 minutes later a huge craft came in directly over my head. Massive in size it blocked out much of the night sky overhead. It was probably the most amazing sight any human has ever seen. I pulled out the camera and had to wait for it to pass to get a shot. It was so large I could only get a piece of it in frame. It was moving so fast that I was afraid I would miss the shot completely. It circled and went out as fast as it came in.

MUFON asked me to return to the sight and inquired as to the location, direction, and angle of the photos. They told me the stars in the background had been verified for that time and location. I am amazed that this hasn't made the news. I believe these things came in so fast that they were amazed that intelligent life existed here as I was at them for being here. The large ship seemed more like a floating factory built on a piece of meteor than a dwelling complex. The small ship seemed like a scout ship. It appeared to have some stealth technology that was partially disabled when the craft opened the doorway or window.

I have had a year to think about this sighting. I don't believe it matters so much as to whether I believe or you believe this. The fact remains that now they know we are here. Perhaps they always knew or maybe they never knew. Maybe they have been here always or have never been here before. Like the first Native American to report seeing a wagon train. I am telling you what I saw. Have evidence of what I saw. The images here are real images of something that we have always believed and been told doesn't exist. I believe we will see them again." RD

MARYLAND GOATMAN LEGEND: What Was It?

The Maryland Goatman is described as a hybrid creature; part man and part goat. According to those who claim to have seen it, the legs and feet resemble that of a goat, the upper body of a man with a horned head, and a body partially covered by fur. A height is generally described as 7-8 feet and a weight at 300-350 pounds. Below are a few of the documented sightings:

June 1963 - Huntington, MD - A young couple was walking on Zug Road when they observed a peculiar creature staring at them from the edge of the woods. The woman described it as a "tall, ragged animal with human-like features."

April 1971 - Huntington, MD - A farmer near Fletchertown Road reported seeing a large, man-like creature eating the remains of a pig. When the farmer approached the scene, the creature ran off.

September 1976 - Woodmore, MD - A landscaper at the Woodmore Country Club finds unidentified remains on the golf course, near Lottsford Road. While attempting to dispose of them, he hears a low growl. He looks up and observes a large, unknown animal.

October 1985 - Glenn Dale, MD - Police respond to a report of teenagers making noise at the old Glenn Dale Hospital site. While investigating, the officer hears unknown sounds but is unable to locate the source.

August 1990 - Hyattsville, MD - During a birthday party at McGruder Park, a boy runs into the woods after a ball. Moments later, he screams. When adults arrive, they find him visibly shaken. The boy tells his mother, “It was the dark thing with the red eyes who stands in the corner of my room at night.”

May 1998 - Bowie, MD - A group of teenagers are hanging out near a local bridge when they notice something moving in the weeds nearby. Two of the teens go to investigate and describe seeing a tall, human-like animal running into the forest.

July 2007 - Glenarden, MD - A camera crew for WRC-TV (Washington, DC) is on location to cover a local golf tournament when they notice a strange animal moving in the trees nearby. The cameraman manages to capture a few seconds of video before the animal disappears.

It is often associated with several locations throughout Prince George’s County, MD (listed above) including Glenn Dale Hospital, the former site of a state tuberculosis sanatorium. It is reported to have attacked and possibly killed several witnesses. It had also been connected to damaged property and the deaths of several family pets.

The Piscataway native people believed a magical creature in the same area in Maryland could shape-shift into various animal forms. This was noted and written in 1666 by a Jesuit priest, in which the illustration of a Bigfoot-like creature standing on two legs appeared in the document.

The sightings began in 1957 when a young couple were parked alone on a lonely country road (Zug Road) when they suddenly heard something banging on the hood of their car. Looking up they were startled to see a goat-like humanoid staring at them, waving what looked like an axe. The creature instantly turned and dashed into the surrounding woods. There were several more rumored sightings over the years.

Then in the Summer of 1962, the Goatman was accused of killing fourteen people, including twelve children and two accompanying adults, who had been hiking too close to its apparent lair. The survivors, who, not surprisingly, remained anonymous, claimed that the Goatman violently hacked its victims with an axe while uttering horrid screams. According to the account, when the local authorities arrived on the scene all that was left in the carnage were half-eaten limbs and a bloody trail leading to an ominous-looking cave. BTW, the Prince Georges County and Maryland State Police have no written record of this incident. It was obviously a ruse and urban legend.

Then in 1970, a woman heard her pet dog barking wildly outside, peering through a window she saw the shadowy figure of the creature moving about where the dog was tied up. Being too afraid to go outside in the dark she decided to remain in the house. The next morning she discovered that the dog had been decapitated.

In the November 10, 1971 edition of the Prince George’s County News the headline on the front page declared “Residents Fear Goatman Lives: Dog Found Decapitated in Old Bowie” with a photo of the remains of the mutilated pet. The canine belonged to April Edwards and had disappeared after she and friends had reported hearing strange noises in their yard on the night of November 3, 1971. When they went to investigate they saw a large creature moving in the dark. The article also stated that reports of an “animal-like creature that walks on its hind legs” had been seen by other residents in the area.

The Prince George’s County News coverage of the Goatman ended with one last front-page story on November 24, 1971. It focused on Mrs. Evelyn Johnson, who lived on Fletchertown Road and mentioned the trouble and harassment she and other neighbors received from Goatman hunters. This included an incident where the road was blocked off by two cars and one truckload of people who claimed they had the creature trapped. Mrs. Johnson had to call the police to drive home.

So what are the actual origins of the Maryland Goatman? Some reports involve escaped mental patients and others satanic rituals...but the most popular legend is that the Goatman is the unfortunate result of an experiment involving one Dr. Stephen Fletcher that went horribly wrong at his U.S. Department of Agriculture laboratory in Beltsville. The doctor confessed to creating the Goatman by crossing the DNA of a goat and his assistant William Lottsford, but the experiment went terribly awry and the result was a genetic nightmare. It's obviously a manufactured tale, but many people claim that this scenario is valid.

Many of these Goatman sightings and reports closely correlate to Bigfoot sightings that have been reported in the same general area of Maryland for generations, including the numerous property attacks by the Sykesville Monster in the early 1970s. Bigfoot-related sightings continue throughout Maryland and the surrounding states. In my opinion, the Goatman is simply an urban legend though, a Bigfoot or any other cryptid hominid with an axe would be a life-altering event.

STRANGE & UNEXPLAINED HIKE in Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio

A Pennsylvania man and his friend drive to Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio. They encounter and experience a few odd moments while hiking a trail.

"To whom it may concern. I am writing this to you to add it to your many varied collections of the paranormal and odd phenomena reported daily.

I am a 29-year-old male from Pennsylvania and I have read through several stories on your site. I thought I would share with you and your readers one of the many strange things I have personally experienced, and like other people, I would like to know if they too had this type of experience; in September 2008 my best friend Ciera (pronounced Sierra) and I went to a park named Hocking Hills in Ohio for a day retreat from our busy lives. She and I had decided on this at random when we first got together early in the morning just after sunrise; it was a nice warm late summer day and we'd just decided to make a full-day drive and hike out of it. Hocking Hills is well known for its several walking trails, a cave or two, and several waterfalls and running water/creek areas. The day was very warm, and sunny, with hardly a cloud overhead, and very nice.

We started a walk at random and found that one of the trails had been washed out so we had to take another path which forced us to cross a road; on the other side was a tall fire lookout ranger's station which doubled as a Fire Tower. We had seen a lot of people out walking with us that day and a few hikers/backpackers had passed us by on their treks up until that point. We played with our phones a bit on the way to show each other some pictures we had taken a few days before on a different outing and noted it was roughly after 12 noon when we came out of the woods and walked across the road; it was then that we noticed there was caution tape all over the fire tower, there was a pungent smell in the air which we could not identify, the windows on top of the tower appeared to be taped up, grimy, and there were flies all over the area. We walked past it, commenting on how odd it was, and continued down a seemingly new trail we hadn't seen on a previous walk in the area. The trail took us past the fire tower and then cut into the woodlands; as we walked into the forest we took notice that no one seemed to be around. In fact not only did we feel isolated from others but we felt very chilled without explanation. That day had been very warm as we both wore very cool clothing and when we entered the forest it began to feel very cool, much cooler than we expected and we both were shivering as we felt the temperature drop.

As we continued down the way my friend pointed out that it was getting darker than either of us should have expected or seemed to be - we looked around and there was nothing but trees on all sides, there should have been a forest edge somewhere as the area wasn't really that big but aside from some hills and tall pine trees there wasn't a real 'ending' to the woods like we expected as the area tends to be narrow and normally you can see the edges. She took out her phone to use her GPS because she instinctively felt lost but her battery was nearly gone, I took mine out and it had no signal, the battery was also near dead, and showed "EE:EE" for the time (meaning it couldn't update as it was an older style flip-phone with a camera and when set to auto-adjust would contact the mobile phone network every 15 min).

It was only then as the light grew dimmer as we continued on our way that I noticed it was very silent suddenly. Our footsteps echoed, the leaves, grass, twigs, and our breathing just echoed. Ciera got spooked and I did too, she mentioned it was very out of the ordinary. I agreed but I couldn't shake this sense of foreboding that something was amiss. I tried to rationalize it but I really, honestly, couldn't figure any of it out at all.

We continued forward going down a small hill on the trail and back up when it got darker. The world seemed to have gone from shadowy to near-twilight darkness. My friend grabbed my arm and started freaking out about how weird it got - then the air grew chillier, and had a feeling of something was wrong. We both took off running looking for an exit, for some odd reason we never thought to turn around at all as we ran we could hear our steps echo off the area as things just felt like they grew more gloomy.

Then ahead of us down a small hill and back up the other side we could see two large bushes on either side of the trail like a gate. We made a mad dash for the bushes and just as we pushed through the plants something odd happened - we were nearly blinded by light as sound and warmth returned all at once. It was like stepping outside of a cold, empty, and dark building onto a warm busy street. We stood at the edge of a place known as Old Mans Cave which has a large waterfall and a U-shaped cliff where you can look down into where the water and people gather. We turned around and the bushes were the same but the area was different, brighter, not silent for sure, and warm. In fact, our skin was cold to touch which just reinforced the facts. We took out our phones and the time had finally updated, it was now 4pm. The normal trail would only have taken an hour to walk fully so it was a loss of three full hours!

Logic attempted to set in and we decided the trail we came up with must have just appeared creepy because there may have been clouds overhead or a storm blew by but when we went back between the bushes there was no trail. Nothing looked like it had a few seconds ago. Ciera walked around the bushes twice and it was the same bright sunny day with no darkness and no trail. We waited, it was blue sky overhead and we could see the edges of the forest and other people. The trail had simply vanished as if we had never walked it.

On returning past the trail where the fire tower was located, we noticed it was normal looking and there was a blond-haired young lady with her hair in a ponytail climbing the steps, the windows were not taped and very clean, and no pungent smell. We don't know what it was, but it certainly was creepy. Of course, I jokingly told her later that day over dinner we had entered the faerie realms by mistake and were lucky to get away, she didn't find that funny of course but either way we felt we should share this with you and if anyone out there has had a similar experience perhaps they can provide insight.

GLOWING RED-EYED, 2-FOOT-TALL 'GREMLIN' Reported in New London County, Connecticut

Researcher and friend David Garrison forwarded a few emails sent to him by one of his paranormal newsletter readers in Connecticut concerning a red-eyed 2-foot-tall humanoid.

"Last Thursday night I went out on my back porch to smoke a cigarette. I let my dog out first, and he went off to the left about 10 feet away. I heard a rustling noise to my right but didn't see anything. I looked at the dog to see if he heard it but for some reason, he didn't. I immediately looked back at the noise again as it rustled a second time. The thing stood about 2 feet tall. I actually saw it lift its head up and look at me. We locked eyes for about 3 or 4 seconds before my dog ran over there. David, this thing had red eyes. They were BIG round eyes. I could see the whites of the eyes and I could see a brownish color in the middle. Here's where it gets freaky. Around the whites of the eyes was glowing red. It is not as if a light/glare caught its eyes. But it wasn't normal. It was a red glowing outline around the eyes. I could barely make out the rest of the body...but the head was, the only way I can explain it is the head looked like a Gremlin from the movie before they went bad. Their round head and ears are much stout than a cat's ears but I could make them out. It almost looked as if it had 2 tone patches of fur, light and dark. He also disappeared right before my eyes. Between the time the creature and I locked eyes....my dog was onto him...he ran over & expected him to chase it. He got to the spot and looked around. I figured I was mistaken about it disappearing and it ran off behind the fence and into the woods. So I listened. I listened for it to run because there were leaves everywhere over there. My dog got to the spot and looked dumbfounded. He spun around. It was gone. I took one step forward to look up into the trees to see if they ran up the tree to escape my dog. The moon lit the trees up & I could see clearly nothing in the tree. I don't know what to make of this, but it's been nagging at me.

Here's something weird I've been thinking about...I set my alarm for 3:00 a.m. to get up for work. Between 3 and 3:30 a.m. I let the dog out for a pee before I leave the house at 4:00 a.m A few days of the week, as soon as he steps off the porch, he sees something and chases it. I have yet to see what he chases. This behavior has been going on for months. I hear him in the woods chasing something then he will bolt out and chase it through my open yard. I always thought the thing got away but then he doesn't stop. He chases whatever it is back into the woods. I NEVER hear or see what it is he's chasing. Until I saw this thing the other night...I never thought about it...I have tried to see what he chases more than a few times. I assumed a rabbit, or cat, etc, but I have never once seen or heard it. But he does. I don't know what to make of this. I have tried to rationalize this as to maybe the thing I saw was a raccoon or an owl. I know what I saw. I told an acquaintance about this experience and he said that because this was Indian land (Mohegan's & Pequots) there were weird things that went on.

Please don't think I'm nuts David, but I'm a little freaked out only because I know what I saw. As far as I know, there's no animal with glowing red eyes. And tell me how it can just disappear like that. My dog was a bit freaked too. The thing didn't have time to run away from the dog....just poof it was gone.

Anyways...Not sure if you know about this subject, or have heard about anything or type of creature like I have described please let me know. I'm a little freaked out, but I am curious too. I have to be nuts because I'm sitting here telling you that I have a creature on my property with red eyes that comes close to my house and around my yard that friggin disappears! "Well, I have an acre and a quarter. It's a huge lot that has trees and also open spaces. There's an old stone wall out back at the property line and behind that, there's 7 acres of non-access woods behind me. There's also a lake with a damn within walking distance by road or thru the woods. Also, someplace in that woods....I have never seen the kids go exploring there is an old abandoned Boy Scout camp. There are old abandoned boats, a huge lodge, and a bathhouse. There are antiques in the lodge. No one goes back there. Some friends of mine did a ghost hunt a while back at my house & most ended up going to the Boy Scout camp instead when they found out about it. The name of the lake is Oxoboxo Lake. It's supposed to be some type of Indian name, and that's the name of my street, Oxoboxo Cross Rd. spelled the same forward as back. The name of the town I live in is Oakdale. It's actually the village of Montville. At one time the Mohegan Indians owned most of the land there was some type of war between the Pequots & the Mohegans way back. They both have casinos now & own a ton of land. Most of my property is very rocky. Nice lawn but it seems to be on a rock ledge. My neighbor had to blast to put in a pool. That's about all I know off hand. I'll put in a link to the town. As you can see it's a huge Indian area.

"One other thing...from the day I moved in here I hated being outside in the dark. Even during the day. I always felt like I was being watched from the woods, which is even creepier when I have to go to work in the middle of the night. I've never been comfortable here. My daughter too. When I go outside to go to work...I park my car as close as I can to my back porch so I can just jump in my car. sometimes it's almost in a panic state because I think something is outside close. weird, I know. I'm not normally a fraidy cat, but that's a huge issue I have had with this place, and I can't wait to move because of it. Thank you for taking the time. K"

"Hi, David. That's a trickster spirit known to the Algonquins as Nanabozho (pronounced Nanaboozhoo). Other names are Wabooz (pronounced WaAbooz) and Mishaaboo (in English Mich a bou). This is a shape-shifter, trickster spirit that likes to show itself as a huge rabbit; a frog; a porcupine; a skunk; a reptile-like creature, and a coyote, (on the plains). Also can appear as a child - adult. In their religion, Nanabozho was the Trickster & Co-creator of the Earth; is heroic in nature, (fought Paul Bunyan eventually killing him with a Red Lake Walleye). As with most Algonquin concepts, his appearance represents a dual message; he brings strife along with human error & stupidity, (their words not mine). The idea, rather, reason for his appearance is to bring about spiritual transformation & growth. He shows up when there is something "not right" about the way the person is living, (often personal and/ or leud interferences in the viewer's life). He comes to point out strife in the person's life to restore balance to their life and also to the land. (He is very territorial). I've been waiting for this question since Tuesday and so I dusted off my notes and reconnected myself with him. He is as old as the Miamis; the Micmacs; the Mohegans & the Mohicans themselves. He is there to restore some balance to the land and the life of the person living there. Hope this helps."

Huge CRYPTID CANINE Encountered by Father & Son in Schuylkill County, PA

I recently received an inquiry about another Pennsylvania cryptid canine sighting after I posted 'Huge Quadruped CRYPTID CANINE Encountered in Columbia County, Pennsylvania.'

"Back in early December of 2011, my son and I had an appointment with the real estate lawyer in Gordon, PA. We got off from doing a side job in St. Clair and took the back road through Hecksherville to get on Highridge Park Road. Highridge Road becomes Gordon Mountain Road once you go past the I-81 interchange (exit 119). Picture of the location below.

It was getting dark, early dusk hour, and I had the headlights on. We were about 1/2 mile past the interchange when a huge wolf-like creature crossed the 2-lane highway from right to left. When I said huge, it was almost a full length of the single travel lane (about 7 or 8 feet).

This creature was about 30 yards in front of us. I said to my son, "Wow, that is the biggest wolf I've ever seen." My son had a shocked look on his face (unfortunately, to this day he refused to acknowledge it).

Its description was dark grey in color with a wolf-like head, a huge muscular upper torso with a narrow waist. The limbs were unusually long (all four limbs were large and muscular). Its appearance looked just like the picture below. It took three lopes to cross the highway. The way it loped was odd. It was a stiff-legged movement.

The area around exit 119 had a few strange occurrences such as vehicles shutting down, the sighting of a female apparition, glowing blue eyes near the creature I saw, etc." RC

'THE CLAW': My Experience With True Evil in Bethel Park, PA! (SKETCH)

I was contacted by an experiencer who I had talked to in the past. He related an incident with an entity while living with his father in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

"When we spoke last, I told you that other events happened in my life that I would eventually find time to send you. This fella beat me to the punch on one of them. So strangely enough, this event is almost exactly what happened to me a few years ago while in college myself. However, there are a few differences in experience I'd like to share with you now.

Back in about 2008, I had split up with my girlfriend and moved in with my Dad while going to college in Pittsburgh PA. He lived in Bethel Park, a very populated and relatively nice community. He had given me a spare bedroom on the second floor which had 3 windows in it. It wasn't very big, but it held my life's essentials while attending college. One night, around spring/summer in '08, I was laying in my bed, laying on my right side, thinking about life and just reflecting on stuff when I started to feel a strange tingle throughout my body (I didn't quite notice a droning sound as John T. described, being that I lived in an area where dump trucks, 18 wheelers and many other large motor vehicles were only a few paces from my window on the ground below passing by day and night). I hadn't begun to "drift" into sleep at this point and I took a quick and sharp notice of this feeling that I was getting. It made me feel "light", as if my body's density was lessening and I was not as "armored" without that density, if you will. I didn't fight it because I always have been intrigued by the supernatural and paranormal (probably even to a dangerous level of curiosity at times). Instead, I focused ON it and tried to encourage it to see what was to come next. What happened next, I did not like. Suddenly, I felt something dark, something negative. The best way I can describe it is like this:

A giant invisible-fingered claw began to "scrape" my soul from my body, slowly extracting it one gradual pace at a time. It started at my feet and scraped its way up my legs and to my torso. When it hit my upper chest, it scraped outward from my body. Think of a garden claw scraping a hole in fresh topsoil - very similar to what I was feeling. Every time it made a pass up my body, I felt less and less in control of my body - I still had control of my mind, but fear began to consume it. My body felt as if it were paralyzed and numbed to much feeling, as a parasite would do when attaching to its host. Now, imagine with me if you can, that since this claw had no physical form, it still had an energy - a dark and negative energy. It instilled terror into my heart and I "saw" it in my mind, what it looked like - its color, texture, the giant nails on each finger, every bumpy knuckle. But when I "saw" it in my mind, it wasn't like some vision you would imagine a prophet being given by a higher power like in movies or something. Instead, it was just like a thought you would have about what your truck looks like or your house or dog. It is a detailed image, but just an image in your mind when you're thinking about something. Ok, so now I'm laying on my right side, I feel this tingle, I kind of like it so I "welcome" it, all of a sudden, I feel the claw scraping through me and pulling MY energy, my soul, out of my body. The only thing I could do was pray, which I did and it was the Lord's Prayer, just as John T. did. As I prayed, the scraping continued but got very weak until finally it was gone. I felt my blood rush back into my body and I lifted my head from my pillow and looked around, not sure what the hell just happened to me.

In all 3 windows, I never noticed anything that seemed like it could be related to extraterrestrials - I didn't lose time, I was conscious the whole time, no strange lights or voices, etc. Instead, this was something completely spiritual...but it was evil. I'm no saint and I don't even know how to be. But I do know evil, and so does every single person in this world when their soul encounters it. I've always been a firm believer in a spirit, a soul, and God. Whether it is simply the power of believing in "something" that gives you control over the power within, or whether it is actually believing in God directly, you must still believe in good and evil. If there is one thing I know about existence, it is that it is all a balance - in every little tiny or hugely massive thing - from day-to-day life to quantum physics, the one rule is; that there is a balance. Black and white, good and evil. I can't explain more than that of my event, other than I know it was evil - and with faith and the power of prayer, I was released from its grasp.

I drew a picture of what I saw in my mind and since it happened, the image in my head has not lost an ounce of detail. Maybe I saw it because I'm visually inclined, but this is what I believe was scraping through me, could it be seen through "our" perspective. - J

RED CLOUD Descends Toward Family Traveling at Night in Northern New Mexico

The witness and her family are traveling at night in northern New Mexico when she feels compelled to look out of her passenger side window. She observes a strange red cloud descending.

I received the following account:

"Dear Mr. Strickler. When I heard you mention on YouTube to write you if we had experienced any unexplained phenomena, I thought I would write and mention something that I and my husband experienced in the winter of 1975 in northern New Mexico. The time was about 12 midnight and we were driving home, a distance of about 85 miles. My husband was driving and I was in the front passenger seat. My daughter was asleep in her car seat in the back seat. It was pretty chilly that night so we had the car heater running to keep us warm. I was making idle chit-chat to keep my husband alert since we were tired and the heater could lull us to sleep. The road we were traveling on was then just a two-lane black top and narrrow. Rarely did you see another car pass by or see any signs of life as the houses thinned to one here or there.

We were riding along and something told me to look out my window to the right. I should explain that the voice was not a voice I heard but nevertheless, I obeyed the thought and looked out to my right and didn't see anything. Once again the thought occurred to me to look out my window and again I did so and didn't see anything. But this time I kind of ducked down in the seat and looked above the car to the right. It was then I saw what appeared to be an orange-red light moving at the same speed as the car and I screamed at my husband that something was flying alongside the car and at the same speed. I told him to stop immediately and we did.

We watched as this reddish cloud moved past the car and gradually descended like an airplane, stopped off to the right, and was about a foot off the ground. The cloud looked to be about the size of a small vehicle. You could not see through the light and the light was not bright enough to hurt your eyes as you looked at it directly. My husband and I sat there in amazement, trying to figure out what this thing was! I rolled my window down an inch or so and I could not detect any odor from exhaust and I could not hear any sound.

I think we were both anticipating that something was going to walk out of the cloud toward us. I was then frightened at that possibility and told my husband to hurry up and get us out of there. We took off as fast as we could and I looked back to make sure the thing wasn't following us and it was a while before we even slowed down any. Sincerely, D"

NOTE: The red cloud formations UAPs have been mentioned to me before, especially in the US Southwest. I wonder if it's a natural phenomenon? Any explanations? Lon

(PHOTOS) Multiple UAP/UFO PHOTOGRAPHS Submitted From Chesterfield County, Virginia

A Chesterfield County, Virginia resident submitted several daytime photographs that he had taken since 2011. He is interested in opinions on what he captured.

I received the following information and photos:

"Hi, Lon. Ever since I was extremely young, I always had an interest in the paranormal - nothing much has happened to me. My parents have had a few odd sightings of strange objects in the sky, but nothing beyond that. But around my birthday in 2011 (Oct 20th), I received a new camera from my wife. I had been using it for a couple days and then I uploaded my pictures to my computer. I noticed 3 of them had extremely strange objects in the sky (note, I didn't see them while taking the photographs). I live near Chesterfield, Virginia. Also, recently, I've seen strange odd "aircraft" flying around the area at night.

I'm thinking about going out and taking some more photos of the sky and seeing if I get any more. I don't use this email often, so I may not read your response on here, but I do read your blog daily, so responding to me on there is preferable." M

NOTE: The top image looks like a plane or jet. The second may be a balloon, but we have seen these cylinder-shaped objects before. The third image is interesting. OK, folks. Let the witness know what you think. Lon

Iowa Woman's ALIEN ENCOUNTER Followed by Sadness & Grief

An Iowa woman describes her encounter with an alien being in her bedroom. She seems confused by what she is experiencing and feels grief after the incident.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"Hello, Sir. This encounter occurred back in 1993. I have told only my family about it. I was living near Sioux City, Iowa at the time. I was asleep on the second story of the house facing the backyard. I was asleep but felt like I was underwater, all sounds were muffled. I felt total peace and contentment. I felt warm and safe. I opened my eyes and saw a small slightly glowing alien. He (I say he because I “felt” the alien was male) was pulling a long, red, thin, firm strand out of my left elbow. His “graceful” fingers were extra long and thin grasping and pulling.

He was pulling out the strand smoothly in a rhythm that was methodical and gentle. He was not touching me in any way, only pulling out the strand. I gazed slowly into his face. His face was at the same level as mine as I lay on my back in my bed. There was light from the moon shining through the leaves of the branches in the backyard through my window. My bed was located right under the picture window which had no drapes or blinds. The backyard was massive with tall old-growth trees planted in rows so there was a canopy over the backyard. Each night I went to sleep looking up through those treetops. He glowed in the moonlight slightly. I don’t recall any smell and the sound was muffled as if I were underwater. His large dark eyes were without pupils but I was not afraid, it was as if I had seen him before and knew him. I knew that he would not hurt me. I didn’t notice any nose or mouth or ears but he was without clothing or any hair.

All of a sudden, I began to feel confused, maybe a little afraid. I broke my gaze from his and began looking at those long fingers again steadily pulling, pulling, pulling the long, red strand out of me...from my left elbow. Then the strand broke, and I looked back to his face with a question to ask him...at the same time he turned his face to the strand...he turned his face back to me. I felt “worried” and confused. I wanted to ask him “something” but I can’t remember what. Before I could make a sound he just stared at me and was gone, as if he were never there…

I sat up in the bed and looked up to the moon through the canopy. Then I remembered the strand and went slowly into the bathroom to check my elbow. The strand was red the color of blood but, I wasn’t bleeding. There was no cut or scar I could see on my elbow. I went slowly back to bed and I thought of the face of the alien and I cried myself to sleep. I felt so lonely, so abandoned, so sad as if someone I truly loved had passed away, someone who adored me too. Even as I commit this experience to the written word, I am weeping. I still feel that sadness of missing him and feeling so alone, so lost...grieving.
