METEORITE STRIKE Leaves Unexplained Devastation in Rollins Pass, Colorado in 1977

The eyewitness and his friends are hiking and camping at Rollins Pass, Colorado in 1977 when they observe a meteorite strike nearby. The next morning they are shocked at what resulted!

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. I just listened to your alien threat video on your YouTube channel. You asked for personal encounters. Well, this one is my dad's story. He was camping with 3 of his buddies in Colorado, circa 1977. They hiked up steep mountain inclines all day, through rocky valleys, and across alpine fields. By sunset, they passed a field of sheep, thousands of them, and decided they would make camp on the other side of this field to get a great view of the stars.

That night, they made camp at 12,000 feet at Rollins Pass and built a fire. My dad and his friends were sitting around it, taking turns drinking beer, telling ghost stories and the like when suddenly, the sky lights up above them. My dad squints up, shields his eyes, and sees what appears to be a massive fireball headed in their direction. He and his buddies scream and scramble to their feet as the fireball hits the opposite ridge with a loud, resounding BOOM! A shockwave rocks the canyon and knocks one of my dad's friends off his feet.

Obviously, my dad and his friends are extremely scared. It's as if one of their "ghost" stories has just come true. His friend, Walter, wants to go and check it out but the other guys are too freaked out to get up in the pitch-black night to investigate. My dad convinces them to wait till morning.

Needless to say, no one slept that night, or at least for very long. The next day, they packed up their camp and hiked to the other side of the ridge, just beyond Rollins Pass. Walter was the bravest of my dad's friends and decided to lead the way. As he passed over the rocky ridge to the other side, where the fireball had hit, he gasped and turned as pale as a ghost.

My father jogged to catch up with him and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the field that lay beyond. All the sheep - or what was left of them - lay scattered across the field. There was no blood. Just thousands of sheep skins, a few heads, and bones, as far as the eye could see, scattered across this field.

Not a mark on the ground, no charred grass, nothing. Just dead sheep. My dad swore it was the creepiest thing he'd ever seen. His friends and he debated, on the hike down, what exactly killed those sheep. Aliens? A UFO?" K

4-FOOT-TALL HAIRLESS HUMANOID Encountered Near Holy Hill Basilica & Shrine, Wisconsin

A Washington County, Wisconsin woman encounters a 4-foot-tall hairless upright humanoid near the Holy Hill Basilica & Shrine area. I'd be interested in any further information.

The following account was forwarded to me:

“At the urging of friends I am reaching out to you about an encounter me and my teen daughter had at about 9:40 pm on September 17, 2014. We were traveling near Highway K and 167 near Holy Hill Basilica, Hubertus, Wisconsin.

“I can only say [the creature] was maybe 4 feet tall, hairless, grey/brownish, and running on its hind legs. It seemed to brace for impact as my car barely missed it. Below is the picture I drew as soon as I got home.” M

A Facebook user later noted the following information:

"The countryside surrounding Holy Hill has more than its fair share of anomalous activity. In 2006, a large bearlike animal with canine characteristics dragged a dead deer from the back of a county contractor’s pickup truck. The authorities recorded the encounter as a “yeti sighting” and started a minor media frenzy, attracting Bigfoot Hunters from as far away as California. Following the Bigfoot clamor, numerous eyewitnesses came forward with sightings of various strange animals ranging in description from the infamous Bigfoot, to odd bear/wolf hybrid creatures.

Also nearby is Hogsback Road, an area that local teenagers claim is haunted by an even stranger cryptid, Goatman. Goatman is exactly what he sounds like, a strange humanoid with caprine characteristics. To my eye, this creature, while almost assuredly not a human/goat hybrid, could put someone in mind of the legendary creature, particularly with those very unsettling legs that seem to have backward-bending knees.

Stories about Goatman have been told around Washington County campfires and in parked cars since about the late-1960s. While the creature seems to be mostly urban legend, creatures with a blend of human and goat attributes have been reported sporadically across the United States, with the oldest I’m aware of occurring in 1830s Minnesota.

“Its elbow was set low on the arm. Legs seemed to bend back at the ankle like a dog’s. Muscles are very defined. Thighs especially. I couldn’t make out the hands because of the way it was running. I couldn’t see the feet as I couldn’t see past the car hood.

“Instantly i knew this was something incredible. We were shocked and confused trying to figure out what the heck we just witnessed. We don’t live far from that rural area so we are pretty much freaked out to venture outside when it's pitch black. It’s something we’ll never forget. It was a monumental moment. The vision of this thing is etched in our lives.

“I really want to know what that was. It was tangible. Not our imagination. I wish I’d seen the face but it braced itself and tucked its head down. I wish I would have hit it. Not to cause harm, [but just so people won’t think I’m crazy].”

Those who have seen the drawing so far have remarked that it looks extraterrestrial to them, likely because of that large head that resembles the classic “grey alien” description given by alleged UFO abductees.

I’ve pondered the drawing all weekend, and the only rational explanation I can think of isn’t rational at all. It looks vaguely like a tailless kangaroo or wallaby, but just how did one of those make its way to Southeastern Wisconsin? One can’t solve a mystery by introducing a second, equally puzzling mystery." L

My GUARDIAN ANGEL Has Always Been With Me!

A reader/listener describes how she believes that she has had a Guardian Angel her entire life and how it has saved her through several harrowing situations.

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. I'm fascinated by your personal Guardian Angel experiences that you've written about or detailed on your podcasts.

I believe I've had a Guardian Angel or something with me my whole life. My mom was hospitalized while pregnant with me, and something from the upper corner of the room calmed her and told her everything would be fine. She was in two car accidents in a year with my brother and I in the car, and she turned to check on us, and we were fine.

When I was a teenager, me and a friend got spooked by something in the catwalks of the theater, and I was slipping a lot as I raced down the stairs. I got to the last long flight and I skipped at the top and should have smacked my head and really hurt myself, but I felt a hand between my shoulder blades push me forward. I went from the top to the bottom of the steps without touching them, stumbled forward, and was center stage before my friend was down the steps.

My college apartment ghost messed with me, but once let me in when it was raining, my hands were full and I couldn't find my keys.

I was at a bar at closing, and since we knew the bartender, we were kind of messing with her and not leaving. Finally, we go, but she's already locked the front and asks us to go out the back. Not a problem. As I'm coming around the front to get to my car I hear screeching tires, a crash, and a bunch of people shouting. I see a lady who had fallen asleep at the wheel rammed into and under the back of my car. If I had gone out the front door I would have been either just getting in or ready to leave, but no seatbelt yet.

Another time I was driving home from work, trying to beat a storm. Suddenly the "passenger not wearing a seatbelt" alarm started going off. It didn't make any sense because it never went off when my lunch bag was full, and now it was the end of the day, so it was lighter. I slowed to so I could move it, and within 20 seconds it was raining so hard I couldn't see the tail lights. That same storm I was trying to make it home without stopping, but my gas wasn't going to make it, so I pulled over for gas and to let the storm pass. There was a huge accident I might have been involved in if I had kept going.

So something is watching out for me. I've got no explanation. Some could be coincidence, some luck, but all of it is weird. I'm sure there's plenty more I can't remember, or didn't notice, but these are the standouts." L

Manitoba Experiencers Caught in UNEXPLAINED TIME WARP & Encounter UNKNOWN ENTITY!

Two Manitoba experiencers are driving on a route well-known to them. But then it seems they are caught in a time warp where the normal route is unrecognizable. Then there is more!

I received the following account:

"This occurred 4 years ago while we were traveling back from Winnipeg to The Pas, Manitoba Canada. Me and my friend 'G' went to Winnipeg for the night (traveled there during the evening and came back the following day at 1pm). The way to Winnipeg was normal, took us 6 hours as usual. I've done this trip numerous times, as The Pas is my hometown which I've recently moved back to from Winnipeg.

On the way back the first 3 1\2 hours go by normally. I was driving the speed limit most of the time as it was icy plus snowing. So we came up to the turn-off (where Highway 6 turns off onto the 60) at about 4pm, at this point the conditions were ideal, and the sun was just about at the horizon. It was a beautiful sky with a crimson sun.

This is where things got really strange. The first odd instance happened about 20 minutes on this highway. A red van overtook us right before a right turn and rounded a sharp bend. When we came around the bend the van had vanished, and it was a long straight high for a bit. I thought this was weird, but I didn't pay any mind to it nor did I mention it to my friend. Shortly after this, I made a comment about how gorgeous the sky was. By this time the sun was just cresting the horizon at about 11 o'clock angle.

It's about 4:45, so we've been on the highway for 45 minutes. This highway takes about an hour till you get to the next turn-off, which is 10 (the final turn-off en route to The Pas). We drive for the next 20 minutes without words just the radio playing. Then my friend G made the comment, " Have you noticed there hasn't been any road signage?" I didn't realize but, there were no signs indicating when a turn was coming up, nor were there any signs in regards to how far we are from towns in kilmeters, no signs whatsoever.

At this point, I noticed the sun hadn't moved an inch in the sky. On top of this, we hadn't seen any other vehicle in a while. I thought this was strange, and so did my friend. Unnerved I sped up going between 120-140kph. I started having this overwhelming feeling something was wrong. Then I noticed another anomaly among the other glaring things that were already making this experience really messed up. All the trees were the same height, and the treeline was extremely dense, like a wall of trees. This was scary because I then realized this scenery was not at all what it should be. Where we were should have been a sparse tree line with small ponds and marshland on both sides of the highway.

We've been on this highway for 2 hours now, the sun still hasn't moved, still no road signs, no traffic and we're not where we should be. Me and G are stuck on this highway and we're starting to get scared, trying to piece together and figure out what is happening. I've known G my whole life and this experience is undeniably our most terrifying. Out of nowhere, the sun sets unnaturally fast which takes maybe 2 minutes, and we are enveloped in this darkness of a starless night without a moon. I am scared. G is scared.

Two 25-year-old men were pretty well shaken, and just when this ominous, oppressive feeling was unbearable, we came to the turn-off, out of nowhere. 3 hours we were stuck on that highway that takes barely over an hour to travel. But it didn't end there.

Just when I thought we were returning to normality, I glanced in the rearview mirror because I thought for the first time in three hours I'd seen headlights. I was wrong. In the backseat sitting behind me on the driver's side was a black human silhouette with glowing yellow eyes. G and I both saw it. I couldn't believe what we were experiencing. All of what happened is so unreal and so fantastical sounding, but what you're reading is real and articulated to the best of my ability.

The next hour and a half were terrifying and mostly set in silence. We finally pulled into The Pas shortly before midnight. We were stuck for two and a half hours in some sort of limbo with unreal anomalies that made no sense and were totally conscious and aware the whole time making note of the time. To top it off when we pulled into The Pas I noticed our gas tank level had barely moved. We are totally lost for an explanation of what happened." M

(VIDEO) BIGFOOT Stalk Elk at Big Pine Creek, California

The following video was forwarded to me by a reader for my thoughts. The video was originally sent to RMSO by the witness. This was a response to a previous video published by RMSO from an expedition in Inyo National Forest at Big Pine Creek.

The video seems to show an elk or possibly a herd of elk being followed or stalked by a singular reddish-colored hairy hominin.

I have received many reports from hunters of Bigfoot stalking, hunting, and killing elk throughout the United States. The video is intriguing, even though the biped is captured for a brief period.

ALIEN METAL Analysis Report Released

The branch of the Pentagon tasked with investigating UFOs published a new report on the origins of what’s long been thought to be a piece of an alien aircraft. Spoilers: it’s not.

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO)—the DoD’s UFO investigators—sent a sample of an alleged extraterrestrial aircraft to Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2022, according to a Thursday press release. Oak Ridge studied the material for two years and sent its report to the AARO in April, and the conclusion is that the sample is probably not alien at all. It’s likely just one in a long line of experimental materials from the 20th century crafted to make a lighter and stronger aircraft.

“This specimen has been publicly alleged to be a component recovered from a crashed extraterrestrial vehicle in 1947, and purportedly exhibits extraordinary properties, such as functioning as a terahertz waveguide to generate antigravity capabilities,” the AARO said in the press release. “Considering all available evidence, AARO assesses that this specimen is likely a test object, a manufacturing product or byproduct, or a material component of aerospace performance studies to evaluate the properties of [magnesium] alloys.” Read more at Pentagon Publishes Report on Material From an Alleged Alien Aircraft

Looking For A SEA SERPENT!

A group of Vancouver Island cryptid enthusiasts looking to prove the existence of a mythical sea creature are asking people to keep their eyes peeled while on the water this summer.

Jason Walton, president of the Victoria-based British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, said recorded sightings of the Cadborosaurus, or Caddy, go back to the 1930s, but tales of sea serpents in the waters of the Pacific Northwest go back hundreds of years.

"[Sea captains] had to put in their log books when they saw these [Cadborosaurus'], and they would not lie in a log book especially when there are 100 sailors aboard," said Walton. "The pictures them dating back to the 1700s have bodies and forms and movements are very similar to what people report from time to time today." Have You Seen the 'TREE PEOPLE' of the Shenandoah Valley?

I'm posting 3 different accounts describing the 'Tree People of the Shenandoah Valley.' Who or what are they? Is it just a legend, or are there clans of tree-dwelling feral people?

I received the following account:

"I had this old man telling me this story about the 'Tree People' in the Shenandoah Valley and described them as long lanky humanoids made of roots and moss and other foliage that secret a sweet and acrid-smelling sappy substance. He said they can climb into things through their mouths and puppet them after consuming their souls. That they only possess things to feed on other things.

He said he swears that he and a buddy went out hunting one summer when he was like 19 and they saw this deer chewing just above the grass not actually eating anything just chewing on air and that the eye that they could see was looking directly at them in there blind a little ways off. The eye was unnatural for a deer mostly white with a ring of very pale blue and a large pupal. The other hunter was freaked out a little and wanted to leave so they packed up but when they exited the blind the deer was closer just chewing and staring. He said the other hunter couldn't stop staring at the thing and it wasn't running so he approached it.

When the hunter got close enough to touch it a long sticky black arm slowly stretched out of the deer's mouth and started caressing the guy's face. The dude who told me the story said the other hunter hit the ground after being touched and started convulsing while the thing kept climbing out of the deer and touching the dude.

He said it shot at the deer like 2 or 3 times and it ran off, and he got his buddy to the hospital. He ended up not remembering anything. The doctor said he had some freak seizures." RC

I don't know what to make of the previous account but I received another account in 2021 that referenced the Shenandoah Valley 'Free People':

"My friend in this story I am still friends with to this day. He grew up in the mountains living off the land in Grayson County, Virginia. He and his family are recognized as members of the Pamunkey Native American Nation. Once I had a 'Not Deer' encounter in the woods in his backyard. He explained to me it was the manifestation of a forest spirit similar to what Slavs call a Leshey. It’s amazing the things this man knows about really he is just a wealth of knowledge and a great human being.

So we were working construction on the outskirts of Harrisonburg, Virginia, (Shenandoah Valley) when the weekend came we decided to go stop by his cousin Lee’s land way out in the mountains several winding dirt roads off Hwy 33. Now let me tell you cousin Lee’s got an old school mountain cabin still heated by a wood-burning stove. Also cousin Lee’s very simple, as a result of a childhood head trauma. He is by no means dumb, just like 'Sling Blade' simple.

So we’re over there having a good time, grilling some deer he shot inside the mountain and I noticed padlocks on what appeared to be refuse bins. Of course, I inquired and the response I got was, “Them MF'ers will dig in my trash and throw sh*t everywhere if I don’t lock it.” Cousin Lee burned what he could and took the remains to the dump very common practice in the area.

So, I am assuming he is talking about raccoons and the man is simple so he is being over dramatic. We went in to eat and no one put the lock back on the refuse bin which had the remainder of the deer carcass in it. Dinner went by without a hitch and after cleaning up we decided to sit down and smoke some mountain grass. We were smoking out (no alcohol) and having a good old time playing old records of bands like Led Zeppelin, etc. when all of a sudden we heard a loud thud on the roof, followed by 2 quick steps and then silence. I have no idea what just happened. I just know I am scared. Cousin Lee exclaims, "It’s them. They better not be in my trash," and goes into his room and comes out with a shotgun. My friend (we will call him J) grabs these 2 handcrafted walking sticks out of the corner. I am still oblivious but my friend J and his cousin Lee are headed to the back door like this is some routine. I then witness J bust out the door first with the 2 big sticks waving them in the air while making just strange growl-like noises. After J gets about 10’ out the door out comes Lee with the shotgun but he is waving it above his head making the same crazy growling noise.

At this point, I am just too curious about the situation and head for the door. When I got to the door the pungent odor of bear crap! I poke my head out of the door and I see this hairy man dressed in tattered rags and caked with mud trying to gather the deer parts from the refuse bin. I look up and there is another one on top of the shed, but he is perched almost like a gargoyle wearing only what appears to be a tattered vest. I’m drowning in awe of the situation. My mind is unable to fully process what is going on and I let out a scream. This seemed to upset the trash digger and he started banging a piece of deer he had in his hand on the side of the refuse bin. Cousin Lee took the shotgun down and fired off a shot and they took off. What was really horrifying was apparently there was one on the roof behind all of our backs. I saw it coming overhead and it landed on the shed the other one was on and then in a single bound leaped into a tree. He successfully ran off with a piece of deer too.

Now here comes the real crazy part the explanation. Cousin Lee says, “You never want to shoot one. They got a mighty big clan and they will come if you get one of their own. Warning shot always scares 'em off.” I just bust out, “What was that?” The response I got was 'THE TREE PEOPLE.' Apparently, people have gone into the forest and lived and survived and ended up clanning up with others living in the woods. This has been going on for a long time they have lived for several generations in the wilderness as feral people. Apparently, they steal clothing the line tools anything they can get their hands on and they also enjoy messing with people. Oh, and apparently they live in the trees thus, why they are called locally 'the tree people.'" SF

Here is another account I received in 2021 from the West Virginia mountains:

A woman from Gary, West Virginia describes her encounters with a clan of feral 'people' on her property. The descriptions are of dirty barefoot hairy mutated humans that can leap through trees.

“I live in West Virginia and have all my life. I don’t come from a rich family and I am not rich myself. I live in a small single-wide trailer with my 2-year-old son outside of the town of Gary in McDowell County. My boyfriend is a truck driver and is only home every so often. I’m kind of used to being alone with my son here at night. My closest neighbor is 3 miles away and my trailer is back in the woods.

This is a mountain town. I grew up hearing scary stories of monsters, but I never saw anything growing up. I never saw anything until now and I want to tell you about it. What people are talking about is most definitely what is stalking us here because I know it’s not a Sasquatch. I never saw a Sasquatch, but I think I would know if I ever saw one.

So, this just started last summer. I clean houses for a living and I was leaving the last house of the day and had just gone to pick up my son from the babysitters and we headed back home. It was 8:00 exactly when we turned in the driveway. My driveway is a very long sand driveway surrounded by trees and the woods on both sides. I hadn’t even gotten to my house when I saw a man jump from one tree on the right side of the driveway to a tree on the left side of the driveway. I mean like 30 feet in the air. He just jumped like how a monkey swings from trees. He did this in front of the car as I was still driving slowly to get to the trailer. It’s bumpy sand on the driveway so I never go more than 10mph down it.

At that moment, I wasn't sure what I saw, but I did know it was a man. I saw its skin and it had some torn cloth on it too. Arms. Legs. All of that a man would have. Did not see its face. I hit my brakes. My son is still in the back seat almost asleep. I didn’t question what I saw or try to make sense of it because I knew it was some creature. Yes, I was scared. My first thought was my son. I only stopped there in my driveway for a second and then I went ahead and sped up to go on and get down the driveway so I could get in the house with my son. I’m passing those trees to my left and I’m just looking around to see if it’s there. I don’t see anything. I just keep on going. It’s about dark but I can still see.

I see my trailer around the corner up ahead and I see movement. OK, so let me add here that it's not that uncommon for some deer or other animals to be around the trailer. That’s normal. But there were people up ahead and one of them was in my trash bag. I don’t have trash service way out here so I sometimes will leave a bag of trash on my porch and haul it myself to the dump. So a man was all in my trash. I get closer and these people hear my car and my headlights are lighting up the front area of my house. And I see like 4 of these things run off into the woods. I saw one of them really well. But it was his face that really got me scared.

That thing had dirt or mud all over his face and there was something wrong with his face because it didn’t look right to me. His eyes were way up on his forehead and it had this humpback. It had some dark pants on but no shirt and the chest and back had a lot of brown hair. His nipples were huge and dark and I could see it through the hair. He was barefoot. This was the one digging in my trash bag. He ran off too but he didn’t seem to be in such a rush as the other ones were to get back in the woods. I lost sight of them all and I waited before I went any farther because of my son. I didn’t have a gun or anything on me. So I was careful.

I sat in my car for 20 minutes running idle before I drove on up to the house. I grabbed my son and we ran inside and because of no cell signal down my driveway, I called my uncle once I got inside. My uncle said I was seeing weird stuff but he came out there an hour later and looked around. Lord, I was so scared while I and my son sat here waiting for my uncle.

My uncle got here. He’s a big guy and had weapons on him. He investigated. He came back in the front door white as a ghost. He came in and said he had seen the devil in those woods and that we were getting in his truck with my son and we’re getting the Hell out of here. We never called the police or anything. What were we going to tell the police? That was last summer.

The winter came and nothing. Then just this past March, when my boyfriend was home, we heard scratching at 11 at night on the side of the trailer. A metal sound. He went outside to look but there wasn’t anything there. But he smelled an odor that he described as rotten pig feet. If you eat pig feet then you know what I mean. We smell bad things a lot and we see things moving in the trees. But now my boyfriend will be moving us to another state because of his job and we only have a few more weeks here, but there are some wild clans in the West Virginia mountains." T

What is a Werewolf? In European folklore, it is a human who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by day. It is said that some werewolves change shape at will; others, in whom the condition is hereditary or acquired by having been bitten by a werewolf, change shape involuntarily, and under the influence of a full moon.
In French folklore, the werewolf is called Loup-Garou. France was particularly afflicted with reports of them in the 16th century, and there were many notable convictions and executions of Loups-Garous.
The werewolf phenomenon may have a medical explanation. Take Peter the Wild Boy, for instance. In 1725, he was found wandering naked on all fours through a German forest. Many thought he was a werewolf or at least raised by wolves. Research has shown Peter likely had Pitt-Hopkins syndrome, a condition discovered in 1978 that causes a lack of speech, seizures, distinct facial features, difficulty breathing, and intellectual challenges.
Lycanthropy is a rare psychiatric condition that causes people to believe they’re changing into a wolf or another animal.
Throughout the centuries, people have used werewolves and other mythic beasts to explain the unexplained. In modern times, however, most believe werewolves are nothing more than pop culture horror icons, made famous thanks to Hollywood’s versions of the Wolf Man, portrayed by my namesake Lon Chaney, Jr. Still, werewolves have a cult following. Sightings are reported each year, as evidence of what I am presenting to you.

SIDEWAYS FLYING 'MOTHMAN' Encountered at Night Near Harrisonburg, Virginia

A Virginia man recalls his harrowing & scary Mothman sighting/encounter while his mother was driving in the mountains near Harrisonburg, Virginia. They both got a great look at the creature.

I received the following account:

"This happened 15 years ago and I still remember every detail. My mom, my friend, and I were driving home from a concert late one night probably around 1 am, and we driving through some mountains. It was near Harrisonburg, Virginia. The roads were seriously winding and it was so dark you could only see a couple feet ahead of you thanks to the headlights of the car.

My friend was asleep in the backseat and she luckily didn’t witness any of this. I, on the other hand, was sitting in the front seat trying to help my mom stay awake. Everything was going as expected just normal driving. When literally out of NOWHERE this huge, and when I say huge I mean it was probably only around 6 feet long 'thing' flew directly in front of our car. Somehow I was able to really see a lot of this thing even though the whole ordeal only lasted about 5-10 seconds. But this creature was like I said about 6 feet long (I only say this because it was definitely longer than the front of our car) and had these big black or dark gray wings that were kind of moth-like and they were against the sides of it. Kind of like if you put both of your arms down by your side. And it was flying sideways and was right in front of our headlights. So that means it was only a few feet off of the ground. And it was flying so fast. We probably should’ve hit it considering we were going 55-60 mph, but somehow we didn’t.

The creepiest and most disturbing part of it was that the body looked so human-shaped and it had this gray/white bald head. My mom and I both saw the exact same thing and thank goodness she did because I’d feel even crazier if she didn’t see it too. We kept trying to explain it away. Maybe it was a bat or an owl? But I’ve never seen a bat or owl THAT big. There’s just no way. I did some research and years ago in the 1960s there were so many sightings of this Mothman creature in and around West Virginia. I guess he’s back? Or maybe he never left.

I’ve told so many people about this and some I think believe me and others give me that skeptical look, you know, the “yeahhhh, ok” one. I know what I saw and thank God my mom saw it too. I’m still so freaked out about this encounter and it was so many years ago. I still live in Virginia near Richmond" C

Supposed FOUKE MONSTER Had Multiple Encounters With Arkansas Siblings

The supposed Fouke Monster entered a house and gently patted a boy and his siblings nightly while they were enduring horrible abuse in life, around 1949 to 1950.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"My father is a couple months out from turning 80 and has just had to go into a nursing home after being in my care since 2019. I've been thinking about him and his life and wanted to share this story that comes out of Fouke, Arkansas.

The Fouke Monster has a long history of sightings, if you want the full story aside from my father's, do a little search and you'll find a lot. The sightings began before the term "Bigfoot" was really coined and recognized, but it is essentially bigfoot. Since my father's story occurred in 1949-1950, it may be one of the earliest accounts of the Fouke Monster ever. Maybe even the first, though I haven't researched it enough to say that for sure. Living deep in the woods in Fouke, my father and his siblings experienced the Fouke Monster on more than one occasion, in a very strange way.

My father is a quiet, humble, honest man. Not an attention seeker, and a man of few words. If this is a "tall tale" it's the only one he ever told. If he's ever lied at all, I can't recall it. I remember a bit of debate between him and my mother before even allowing this story to be told to us, just due to it being unexplainable and frightening. My father also lived a horrible childhood that is part of this story, including physical/sexual abuse, starving, and never owning a pair of underwear or a toothbrush until he was 13, ran away, and started patching tires to buy those things for himself.

Once when the kids complained they were starving, their father fried a bar of soap and forced them all to take a bite while laughing. Their father (I do not call him grandfather because I never knew him-thank you dad) once killed a migrant farm worker in front of the family and forced the kids to clean the blood out of his car after dumping the body in the Red River. His father, in a drunken rage, once made the kids get out of the car and run in front of it at night, saying he would run them over if any of them stopped. And he would have. My father never returned home after age 13 and made a good life for himself and our family. We owe him a lot for completely breaking the cycle of abuse. He was a good, moral man. Just a month ago, ridden with dementia, he told me it still makes him cry to this day what his father put him through.

During the worst of the worst, the family became aware of "something" in the woods near their house. Dogs going wild, weird bumps in the night. Just eerie things, but eerie enough to make his mother occasionally sit at the window at night with a shotgun. Once, their bloodhound reared up in the window, and she mistakenly shot him believing that whatever was in the woods had finally come up to the house.

During this time, my father was about 6-7 years old and sharing a bed with his older siblings. They began having "night visits" of something none of them could explain. Keep in mind, that Bigfoot was not a term yet, and the Fouke Monster sightings were only documented many years after this. This is how my father describes it, I won't jazz it up.

They would hear the screen door to the house open (no AC, all windows and doors open with just screens) and heavy, heavy footsteps coming down the hall. The kids, frightened and knowing their parents were asleep, would pull the sheet over their heads and would only barely peek out. When my dad peeked out, he saw a huge hulking figure, taller than his father and taller than any man, just standing at the bedside. Then my father felt a huge hand, so big that the palm covered his entire chest with fingers extending over the side, patting him gently over the sheet. After patting him a couple of times, the hand slid over and patted his sister, and then brother the same way. As the hand moved over to his sister and brother, he described hair "as long as a woman's hair" dragging across him, dangling from the arm. The heavy footsteps would then retreat, back out of the house.

This repeated multiple nights throughout one summer before my terrible grandfather moved the family to New Mexico. That's where the encounter ends. My dad ran away at 13 from New Mexico, hitch-hiked to East Texas, and married my mom at 15. When they were in their 20s, stories of the Fouke Monster began to circulate in newspapers, and my mom and dad were shocked. Although I can't name the specific farm/property without potentially putting my family's identity, the family that lived on the property after they moved to New Mexico, reported that the Fouke Monster had come onto their front porch and ripped the screen door off. Make of that what you will.

My father never wanted his story to be told. Never contacted the papers, and never told anyone outside of a few trusted family members. He doesn't want to be called crazy, and he also doesn't want his abuse stories that coincide with the encounter to be widely known. Once we begged him to ask my Aunt about it, and he did when she visited. Her reaction was strange, to say the least, she instantly turned bright red, huffed and puffed, and said I don't think we should talk about that. He didn't push it, and it was never mentioned to her or by her again. I can't ask my dad's brother about it, because he turned out to be an abuser of his own children exactly like his father. I have never met him and never will. Thank you again Dad for protecting us from the things you went through.

When my mother deemed it was OK to tell us this story, my brother and I were teenagers. It scared us so bad that my mom had to sleep with me, and my dad with my brother. My dad, half asleep in the middle of the night, reached over to pat my brother and make sure he was still in bed. My brother, fresh from the Bigfoot story, woke up to being patted and screamed." C

VIDEO: Possible CRYPTID CANINE Recorded Peering In Truck Window

A bizarre video has surfaced on YouTube where a supposed homeless man, who has been living in his truck, had an encounter with one or more cryptid canines.

Apparently, there seems to be a canine creature raising its head up to the window where the eyes, along with eyeshine, can be seen. In the background, there are howling sounds in the distance. later in the video, it seems that other unknown creatures have approached the truck.
