East Tennessee Landowner HUNTED & CHASED BY SASQUATCH!

An East Tennessee landowner was at one of his ponds checking his fishing lines when he heard, what he described as 'fighting monkeys.' He was then chased out by Sasquatch!

I received the following account:

"In 1992 my uncle owned about 150 acres in a remote area of East Tennessee. On this land, he had a large fishing pond and a stream running through it and he used to leave lines out at night to pull in big catfish. This pond was accessible by 2 small game trails through thick patches of woods and he would need to drive to the trail entrances from his house near the front of the property and walk about a half mile in with his gear and nothing but a headlamp for light. This was something he did pretty often and my uncle was a lover of the outdoors so this was business as usual for him. Vietnam vet as well.

Anyway this particular night in July 1992, he went down to the pond at about 9:30 pm to check his lines. As he was doing so, he heard a loud splash and assumed it was a fish jumping. He carried on with what he was doing and then heard a low, guttural groan and what he described as "monkeys flighting" just on the other side of the pond (it was about 70 yards across). Multiple loud splashes occurred and he also heard a loud crash in the woods just yards away to his left. He talked about how he immediately felt a sense of panic and was attempting to get visuals using his headlamp but whatever was producing these sounds was behind tree cover.

He said that the woods then erupted in continued sounds of "fighting monkeys" and he opted to drop his gear and run down the trail toward his truck. Apparently, even in his adrenaline-fueled state, he could hear footfall on his left as he was being "hunted." He got to his truck and hauled his butt out of there to the road and back to his home (which mind you, sits on the property about 6 miles away). He went inside and locked every window and door, grabbed a gun, and stayed up and vigilant the entire night but nothing more occurred.

He called my dad the next day who sort of just laughed it off. Well, for my uncle whatever he experienced scared him so badly that he put his land up for sale and sold it a few months later. Until he died in 2017, he maintained that he believed that he walked into a group of Sasquatch and they erupted in territorial displays to get him out of there. He never enjoyed the outdoors after that. This wasn't a man who I took for a liar." O

Rare THYLACINE PHOTO Uncovered!

A woman’s rediscovery of a rare photograph showing a wild Tasmanian tiger has unearthed old emotions from those connected to its extinction. The image had been stashed away for decades after being collected by a man who had seen real tigers in the wild.

Tania Turner, 59, spoke to Yahoo News on Friday, recalling the moment her grandfather, a former zoo owner, passed the photo down to her. He died in 1994, and she estimates she was given it 10 years earlier.

“He gave it to me in a big envelope with some other photos. I believe it came from his father, Montague Senior, who used to go out trapping them and taking my grandfather with him,” she said.

WHITE 'THANG' of Alabama

When it snows like this, I always want to find a seasonal Cryptid. For now, as I haven’t had a chance to delve into the Archives of Appalachia in person, my search seems to be rather limited.

However, during my search, I found something curious. While Tennessee has its own Sasquatch, so too does Alabama. This is the first article I’ve written about Alabama. It’s curious (and has been stated before) that the most common Cryptid to be found anywhere in the U.S is a Sasquatch or Bigfoot or, even better, a local name for the creature with the same features.

The White Thang is a Cryptid of Alabama; supposedly, the state’s most famous (according to Al.com who published an article about the creature in 2019). Read more at The White Thang of Alabama

NESSIE Theory Deemed PLAUSIBLE!

A new discovery has proved the existence of the Loch Ness Monster "plausible," according to scientists. The recent revelation in the Sahara Desert makes old Nessie, the mythical Scottish creature, entirely "plausible".

Researchers from the University of Bath and the University of Portsmouth in the UK and Université Hassan II in Morocco made a shocking discovery of fossils of a plesiosaur in the Sahara Dessert, according to newsweek.com.

Egyptian Air Force Fighter Pilot Recalls BLINDING LIGHT INCIDENT Over the Red Sea

An Egyptian Air Force fighter pilot recalls a strange event while flying patrol one night. A bright, unidentifiable light was seen by him and other pilots. It shook them all!

The following account was forwarded to me:

"I am a former Egyptian Air Force Mirage 2000 pilot. I was one of the “unlucky few” who got selected to serve their mandatory years as pilots, it was considered unlucky because you stayed in the army a lot longer than soldiers and officers because of the amount of training that comes with flying a fighter jet. Anyway, fast forward 2 years. I’m a fully trained mirage pilot though I don’t know much about dogfighting and fighter jet weapons as I didn’t take it on full-time time like I said this was a mandatory service that everyone had to do. It’s just I was selected to be a pilot for some reason, I only flew like 6 times in the 3 and a half years I served.

It’s a pitch-black night and I go out for patrol on the Red Sea border between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. My friend is commanded to patrol the border between Sinai and Israel (that’s usually the most actively patrolled border). Here I was flying in Egyptian airspace when an extremely bright light shone through the cockpit almost blinding me for a moment. It was so bright it got right through the tinting on the windows and my helmet. It was almost like that memory wiper in 'MIB' movies. It lasted at least a minute, so just as I was about to call this in to get a possible explanation. The air tower guy starts frantically sort of shouting but not loudly, like he’s talking really fast and in a very worried tone and I can’t hear him through the radio that well so I couldn’t tell what he was saying. I tuned into the frequency the other pilots were on and they were all just as shaken as me.

30 minutes later a calmer voice instructs us to all land immediately as there is an emergency being investigated by the more experienced pilots (dogfighters). So we land two at a time, I steer my plane into the hangar and I get out. Everyone has this frightened look on their face, eyes wide open, mouth shut and sort of lost. Like you talk to them and they’re like, “Sorry, what were you saying again?” So I go straight to the base commander hoping for an explanation that puts my mind at ease. When I got there I found that he was in his office on the phone shouting about unidentifiable aircraft infiltrating Egyptian airspace and that’s when I really got scared.

I finished my mandatory service years ago now and I’m currently studying law in the US. But that night I constantly think about." H

'SAVIOR' in the Auto Parts Store!

The witness had been looking for specific U-joint bolts for his truck but looked high and low without success. Then one day, out of the blue, his 'savior' emerged.

I received the following:

"Hello. My dad passed away in 1992. Among other things, I inherited a 1980 Chevy LUV pickup. It may have been through ignorance but I had looked high and low for 4 bolts that needed to be replaced on the U-joint. They were special and shouldered. I stopped everywhere looking for these bolts. Chevy nor Izusu had them. I was at my wit's end as I had been looking for two months.

One day a buddy of mine and I stopped at a hamburger joint that had a parts store next to it. We got out and I said I am gonna check this parts store and I had one of the bolts in my hand. As we were walking to the store, a guy that I can only describe that looked like the Jesus your grandmother had a picture of on her wall walked by us and said howdy, or something similar. But here is what freaked me out.

He said, "Those look like they are U-joint bolts for a Chevy LUV pickup. I bet you are having a heck of a time (yes, he said heck) finding them. Come over here, I think I have some in my truck."

He walked over to his truck looked in a 5-gallon bucket and handed me 4 perfect bolts exactly like I needed. My jaw dropped. I tried to pay him or buy him a hamburger and he said no, just help someone else out if you get the chance.

That was 28 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday." P

Couple Encounters GLIDING 'ORANGUTAN' While Driving in North Dakota Night

A North Dakota couple was driving at night when they observed something floating above them. They both described it as a gliding primate or orangutan! What did they see?

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. I was living in Northwest North Dakota in the early/mid-2010s when my girlfriend and I had a very strange encounter. I had lived in this area all my life and for most of it, it was an empty and desolate plain. However, around 2012 there was an oil boom and this caused a lot of people and activity to move into the region. This is not really necessary for my story but who knows if the presence of people or industry could have attracted the thing that we saw.

We were driving down a gravel road one night going south from the small town of Wildrose. It was very early in the morning, probably around 3:00 AM. I was driving and my girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat. We were probably driving around 45 miles per hour as it was loose gravel and it was dark. Out of nowhere, about a hundred feet in front of us, I saw something that I had never seen and had not seen since. Floating about ten feet in the air in the middle of the road I saw what looked like an orangatang. It was motionless with one arm positioned over his head pointing in one direction with its other arm across his lower portion pointing in the other direction. It also appeared to be glowing, there was a faint ethereal glow emanating from it.

As we continued toward it it glided at an angle into the air and away from the road as we were passing it. The last time we glimpsed it, it had floated up either into a tree or right near it. We continued to drive and I thought that I was just seeing things, even though I have never been one to experience hallucinations. I looked at my girlfriend and said, "Did you see that!", and she replied, "Yeah, it looked like a f'ing monkey!" We turned around at the next approach and drove back to the location of the sighting and there was nothing there.

This whole thing sounds absolutely crazy, a motionless glowing gliding primate in the middle of an oil field? I have only told one other person about this, the girlfriend and I have long since broken up but there was never any doubt in our minds about what we saw. My only theory is that it was not a real orangutan but rather something that chooses its appearance and for whatever reason that is what it had chosen.

I was listening to one of your shows about flying humanoids and a person had mentioned something about a gliding creature so I figured it would be worth telling my story.

Readers Respond: 'Have You Ever Experienced a TIME GLITCH or TIME SLIP?'

I asked readers if they had ever experienced a time glitch or time slip incident. I received responses in the Phantoms & Monsters Radio Community and through my email.

"In the 90s I went to Africa. I was given an amulet by an old man we had befriended. I started wearing it. After two weeks of being home, I took my children to school. Came home and went back to bed.

I was awoken by 2 loud thumps under my bed. My bed was 2 inches off the floor. I was freaked out. I suddenly felt something happening, but I was frozen. I managed to turn my head slowly with great effort. In the doorway of my bedroom, I observed the newspaper pages spinning around slowly in the air with some kind of shimmer behind them. I was so scared I buried my head in the pillar. I kept repeating go away, go away and thinking happy thoughts.

The next thing I remember us waking up several hours later. It happened again two weeks later almost the same as above. I told my friends who laughed at me to take the amulet necklace off and throw it out. It never happened again." @eamondelaney3287

“I once had a glitch and it scared the living crap out of me. My school once had an exhibition (I think that's what it's called) and I had to go there to help my class prepare stuff. I was going around to see a few exhibition pieces of other classes. I stumbled upon a room where the curtains were open and there were clothes inside. In the other room next to it was a room where the curtains were closed and there were some kind of red LED lights in there with jewels and a woman was sitting in the room. I think she was a seller. After I looked around, I left the room and wanted to go back to my friends. I wanted to pass the room with the opened curtains but I realized that it wasn't the same room anymore. It was the room with the LED lights with the woman sitting in the chair. I went back to the other room and that was the LED light room too. After that, I explored both rooms and I couldn't find a difference. I just got more and more worried that I might be hallucinating or be on drugs. But I didn't think so because I would be able to feel it, I think. And hallucinations are short. I sometimes hallucinate when I have a fever, that's why I know that.

So, after the exploration, I stood for a few minutes in the corridor, frightened. After those few minutes, I dared to move and see if the rooms changed. They changed indeed. The room, that once was white and where the clothes were, was there. Everything was normal. Since that day, I haven't told anyone about that strange phenomenon. I couldn't tell anyone. But I wanted to tell someone who would believe me.” MB

"I had an encounter on a military post - Fort Riley, Kansas. I was outside late, sitting in my car maybe about 0100 and a loud buzzing sound went off. It sounded like someone was about to say something then it cut out. The barracks in front of me and adjacent to my building then came to life, the doors swung open and soldiers in full uniform all started walking out. They weren’t quite walking or running something in between like a really fast-paced walk, almost a jog. No name tapes and no US Army tapes. Didn’t recognize a single soldier among the three dozen or so that were there. I tried to stop them and ask what they were doing. No response. None of them they all just kept walking in the direction of some training areas. I tried to catch up on foot but wasn’t trying to run after them so I got in my car and rode parallel to the path they were walking on. The road however had so many potholes it felt like I was going off-road. Then I got to the point where the path went into some woods so I got out of my car in a nearby parking lot and they weren’t there. I ran on the path they went on. No one. No boot prints nothing. Probed the wood line, but couldn’t hear or see anyone. Went back to my car freaked out and generally flabbergasted and looked at my phone that I had left in the car and it said 0434 which is impossible because all of this couldn’t have taken place in more than 20 minutes or so.

So I was pretty freaked out and had no explanation. A bunch of soldiers without name tapes coming out of a building where there’s no way that many people lived? Crazy. The road which had been worked on just a couple weeks ago and resurfaced has potholes at least half a foot deep? Insane. And now I have to do PT in like an hour. So yeah I kind of dropped maybe I was dreaming but all of it was so real. Maybe some kind of training I wasn’t privy to? Who knows. I for sure don’t have a clue.” CZ

“My BFF had a "shifting" experience. She and an acquaintance were on their way to a funeral, and, because they were running late (as per usual), they decided to go straight to the cemetery and skip the church ceremony. They made it to the cemetery, but they couldn't for the life of them find the rest of the funeral party. They wandered around weirded out for a while, trying to call up the other people, but they had no signal. They then decided to head out, go home, and maybe have a coffee. As they left, they noticed another cemetery a bit further away, so they made their way towards it. Lo and behold, they managed to find the rest of the funeral party in no time, as the second cemetery was quite smaller and easier to navigate. When they then apologized to the organizer for being late and told them they mistakenly went to the "other" cemetery, she was bemused because, she said, "It's okay you were a bit late, there's no need to lie." There is only one cemetery in the village. They still don't know where they were.” BU

“I haven't ever experienced any major 'glitches' myself. The only one I've ever witnessed happening happened to a friend when I was 10 years old and it was minor (I guess). We were at his house and he went to grab a controller from his room so we could play a match against each other on FIFA (we did 4-man mini tournaments). His room is just a hallway away. He stayed in there for 20 minutes and we (me, the brother of my friend, and another guy) started to wonder what he did in there. Then he came back after 20 minutes and we asked what was he doing in there all this time and he sincerely told us that he just went in his room grabbed a controller and came back immediately and he didn't remember doing anything else and that for him it was just a moment. He had just lost 20 minutes of his life, literally. Nothing major or life-changing but we still were kinda freaked out with the whole situation. We just brushed it off like the 10-year-olds we were. It just came back to my memory. Don't know if it's worth mentioning that my friend and his brother are identical twins if that increases the chance of glitches or something.” ZC

We then drove home approximately 25 miles. We usually got home at 4:10 - 4:15 p.m. but to our surprise, it was only 3:45 p.m. No one we worked with experienced anything like this. "I was arrested in Cass County North Dakota in 2010 and after I was booked, I was taken to my cell. It was approximately 7:00 PM and I was just sitting on my bunk staring at the wall. I sat there for what felt like ten or fifteen minutes and then all of a sudden, my door popped open, and a guard yelled, "Breakfast!" There is no way that I was sitting there for nearly twelve hours. At some point, a time glitch event has happened to most people. Are these time slips or something entirely different? Is it a temporary transport to a parallel universe? What do you think?

“Help! About 2 hours ago me and my fiance went to get some food. We got on the freeway for about a 4-minute drive until our exit. Now the place we go to eat is somewhere we frequent often.

So we get off on our exit make a left turn (the direction is important) and continue to go straight after that. We drove for about 5 minutes and suddenly realized that there was no other traffic on the road going in either direction. I live in Fresno, CA, and although it’s no LA or San Francisco we still are a big city and there is always some kind of traffic. It wasn’t too late (11:45 pm) so not only was there no traffic but there was NOBODY around and all the street lights were out. My fiance commented on this and we both got a little freaked out but shrugged it off.

We then realized we were going in the opposite direction of what we had thought (as if we had turned right not left like we are sure we did). We had been driving for over 10 minutes by that point and our destination (once off the freeway) is at most 3 minutes away. We were at least 5 miles away from our destination and in the complete opposite direction. There was also a very heavy feeling of being the only people in the entire town, it felt like all the people in town were just gone! We are sure that we turned the right way and even if we hadn’t we can’t explain the disappearance of people or traffic, the heavy creepy feeling we got, or the fact that even if we had turned the wrong way it took way longer to get the point we were at then it should have. Once we realized we were going the wrong way we turned around and all of a sudden everything was back to normal. Street lights are back on, there’s traffic and people in the street. So we start freaking out trying to figure out what in the hell just happened.

So we get home and I start to tell my teenage son what happened when all of a sudden my iPad turns itself on and Siri asks if she can help me. Now anyone with an Apple product knows that to get to Siri you have to hold the home button down for at least 5 seconds or more. So we’re all freaking out over that. Then about 15 minutes later our hallway light which my fiancé is 100% sure he turned off was back on. We don’t know what is going on and we’re kinda freaked out can anyone explain what we just went through!” T

CHILD-SIZED CRAWLER HUMANOID Slowly Crept Through Garden in Berkshire, UK

An English teen observed a creepy child-sized crawler humanoid crawling through his garden in Berkshire, UK.

"As a teen, I just refused to sleep at normal hours, especially on weekends. Why? Well, that’s because the house I lived in and the land the house was on was haunted as sh*t. Staying up usually meant seeing some freaky activity and growing up in a small English town in Berkshire, well that’s as exciting as life got.

So one night when I was around 14, I was staying up staring out my window when I started seeing glowing blue and purple lights coming from the forest behind my house (we don’t have fireflies where I lived). I thought they were cool so I just continued staring at them, trying to figure out what they were. Now the way my house was set up, my bedroom window faced the forest and my back garden, and directly next to my room is a side gate that links to the front part of the house. On either side of the gates are motion sensor lights.

So the lights in the forest may not have been paranormal but what happened next most definitely was. The motion at the front of the gate triggers, casting a faint light into my garden. The night grows really silent, with no more owls or crickets, and just really eery. The lights in the forest came to ebb and then just die out. I listen carefully as I start to hear scuttling on the wood of the gate. It’s muffled so I slightly crack open my window to get a better look / listen.

Now that gate is always locked, with a heavy padlock at that. To this day I have asked my dad if he ever left the gate unlocked that night and he stands by the fact that unless he’s gardening the gate stays closed. This was spring so he might have started seeding so for my own comfort of mind, I’m gonna assume he left the gate open.

Anyways, I hear the gate slowly swing open. The creeks of the wood were so loud against the silent night, so the sound was very distinctive. The motion light right underneath my bedroom window switches on. Honestly, to this day I really can’t explain what I saw.

It was this off-white veiny kind of skin texture and was about the size of a child. It walked on all fours and looked just sickly. Its hind legs were significantly longer than its front legs and it looked to have hand claws? I hate having to link back to Creepypasta but it honestly looked like the Rake.

Now I’ve gone through the possibilities in my head trust me. It was too small to be the deer that frequented our garden, also it had no remote deer-like features. A badger or fox with a disease is possible. However, I’ve never seen badgers or foxes with such long limbs and so disproportionate. Also, this thing was completely hairless and humanlike.

The worst part about it to me was how it slowly and silently moved up my garden path before disappearing into the woods. The noises of the night started back up after that but I was so shook that I didn’t sleep that entire night.

I’m from England so I haven’t heard of any folklore that matches what I saw. I know there were occult practices done in the woods behind my house but I’m pretty sure it was pagan, hence not inherently bad or demonic.

I don’t know what I saw." L

'Dad? Is That You?'

While watching a horror movie, two siblings hear someone at the front door, both thinking that their father had returned home. No one was there. What caused the sound?

I received the following account:

"One night, when I was a teen, I was watching 'The Conjuring' at home with my sister when we heard someone putting a key into our front door and opening it. We were sitting in the living room next to a sliding door that was very close to the front door so we both heard it very clearly. Now this didn't alarm us since we knew our dad had recently gone out to get some stuff, so we just assumed he had returned.

“Dad, you’re back already?” I casually asked.

There was no response.

“Dad?” I asked again, thinking that he had not heard me the first time.

Again, silence.

At this point, I got the feeling that something wasn’t quite right and I could tell by the look on my sister’s face that she was quite nervous as well (I’ll note that up to this point, she had spent the evening rolling her eyes at horror movie clichés and she very rarely gets scared). We looked at each other for a moment wondering what we should do before we started hearing a few more scattering sounds from right outside the sliding door. I was frozen in fear by this stage.

I tried one more time in a louder, but shakier voice: “Dad, is that you?”

I'm thinking, 'Please respond, please respond...' repeated in my head. But the silence continued.

Now at this point, I’m freaking out and I literally jumped off the couch. My sister also abruptly gets up and starts rapidly walking towards the other end of the room which leads to the kitchen area (she later revealed to me that she was planning on grabbing a knife). She had this horrified look on her face that I hadn’t seen before. We looked at each other in nervous silence; I didn't really know what to do and I didn't want to make any further sounds.

I finally decided to walk up to the sliding door and began opening it as slowly as possible, peering into the darkness (I know, I literally became the idiot who investigates the unknown, creepy noise without anything to protect myself with). When the door was finally open wide enough, I poked my head out and scanned the hallway, preparing for the worst. To my surprise, there was no one there. But what was more strange was that the front door was still completely shut (we never heard the door close). My sister and I were obviously both extremely relieved as we were almost certain that there was an intruder in the house.

After this, I immediately went to ask my mom (who was situated in her bedroom at the other end of our house) if it was her or whether she had noticed anything. She told me that she thought my dad had come home as well and she also heard someone opening the front door.

Around half an hour later, which felt like an eternity at the time as we were still quite shaken from the incident, my dad finally arrived home and confirmed that he had not come home earlier. To this day my sister and I still have no idea what happened that night." C

NOTE: I wonder if this was a case of a thoughtform or mind manifestation that resulted from watching the horror film. The fact that 3 people heard that same sound would, most likely, dispel it as a tulpa, but I've heard of stranger things occurring. What are your thoughts? Lon

FAST & HEAVY UNKNOWN BIPED Running Through Neighborhood

A property owner, living near the Cascade Mountain Range, heard something bipedal and heavy running along the road at night. The dogs in the area were going crazy. Was it a Sasquatch?

I received the following account:

"There was a really weird occurrence at my dad's house a few years ago. He awoke to the sound of dogs barking and realized the neighborhood dogs were barking at something that was moving parallel to the road. When his own dog started to bark he went outside to see what was up. Across the street is pretty much all forest except a church directly across the street that at the time was just a gravel lot. My dad was too far away to see anything but in the dead of night, he could definitely hear the sound of someone running at full tilt across the gravel.

A few things freaked him out of this. Whatever it was definitely ran on two feet, try having a dog run on gravel versus a human and you can tell the difference. And it was big. Both myself and I have witnessed large animals like bears and moose running through the underbrush and according to him, it sounded like it was of a similar size to those creatures. It was easily running somewhere around 40-50 mph in the clearing of the lot then slowed down again as it went back into the woods. He was able to compare the speed because the road itself is 45 mph limit so it was going just as fast as a passing car. The final thing. Its huffing and gasping was so loud he could hear it from his front door and was obviously not human. We looked online later to compare its sound to other animals and it really didn't sound like anything he'd ever heard before.

The freakiest part was the almost synchronous reactions the dogs had. He'd never heard dogs react like that before. Both he, my step-mom, my step-brother, and several of our neighbors can account for hearing the strange barking from the dogs, but it was only my dad who heard what they were after.

Nothing happened like that since and I've never personally witnessed anything like it. We do like right on the border of the Cascade Mountain Range and are surrounded by park and federal land if you want to get an idea of where this took place." A

NOTE: Well, the obvious first thought would be that this was a Sasquatch. But, then again, what do you think it was? Lon
