Tall Smelly Humanoid Encountered in Scotland
I recently came across the following post and subsequent information:
Me and my friend were walking around a massive park in my town and it was around 11pm. We were just walking around having a smoke and a laugh, being teenagers and stuff. By this point it was pitch black. There's no lights in the park and I'm a bit on edge because I'm not keen on the dark and I was kind of paranoid from the weed, but I'm gonna just cut to the interesting part.
So me and my friend, let's call him Sam, walk towards the actual swing park within the park and we're like 10 feet from the park. There's this unexplainable rancid smell that physically caused me to gag. We joke and say something about it being this girl from school we don't like and head into the park. The smell is only getting stronger and I glance over at the small wall surrounding the park. There's a bench and squatting behind the bench, at least 5 ft tall squatting, was what looked like a freakishly tall guy. He appeared to be naked and hairless. We both kinda stared for a minute before looking at each other as if to say "Yo, you can see that right" and the thing started laughing like a 4-year-old girl. We got the f**k out of there and ran like our lives depended on it and went home. We just laughed it off and kind of forgot about it, at least Sam forgot about it. But it was weeks ago and I'm still spooked and refuse to go near that park after dark.
Can anyone help me figure out what I saw? Thanks - livinlavidaloca182
The witness later stated the following after one person commented that it had a 'wendigo-esque vibe' (Being very tall, pale whitish in color, very thin and hairless). Another person commented that it may have been a Rake / Fleshgait (Tall, extremely skinny, lanky arms/legs usually a pale white and mimics humans):
I live in Scotland and it's cold here. The park is massive and heavily wooded too. What you've described definitely fits. What's weird is that I've smoked there for years and never ever saw something like that or heard anyone mention them here. It would have been at least 8 ft and granted it was really dark. It was very pale white-gray in colour and I think that it was that thing that was giving off the smell. I haven't heard any local folklore or urban legends about anything like this. I don't know if it just wondered and ended up here or if they're migrating here or something. Over all was really scary and will haunt me forever!
NOTE: This is a very interesting account. The witness preferred to not give out location details, but it seemed that they were sincere. Any thoughts? Lon

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - 2018-03-09 - 22:59: I went to bed at 10:00 pm. I wake up on a metal like bed in a low lighted room and look to my left and see a female laying on a table about 10 feet from me. I can't move my body or arms. I can only move my head slightly and eyes to look to the left. From above a group of what looked like a million fiber optic clear needles in a approx. 2 foot diameter shape came down and went over this female's face and into her head as the bottom of the needles rested on the table. I was freaking out, yelling, 'stop, stop, why are you doing this?' Then the female's body started to shake and ripple like a flag blowing in the wind. It was the most horrific, unhuman-like thing for a human body to do or move like that. It was if she had no bones in her body and her body from chest to feet was rippling, shaking very fast. I kept yelling, 'stop, stop, what gives you the right to do this to us?' I'm fighting to get up off the table and can't move, my hands are clenched in fists and im yelling 'stop, stop.'
Then I hear a voice in my head say "we just did this to you and you're ok" Bam! I'm on my bed, my heart pounding so hard and loud that I can audibly hear it, my fists are clenched and I can't move or open my hands. I lay there for what seems like half an hour and when I calm down and can finally open my hands and get up. I look at the clock and it's 12:00 am. I went to bed at 10:00pm and until 11:30 pm was abducted.
This was no dream as I previously have reported to MUFON, that I have had other abductions since childhood but not to the degree of this event. The inside of the craft / area was low-lit. I couldn't see anyone other than the female on the table beside me. I don t know the female. My impression is one of a medical lab and the beings were out of my line of sight. I'm 56 year caucasian male. - MUFON

“My mother told me the following story: In the 1950s, up until attending college, she shared a room and bed with her sister. They did not have electricity at that time and depended on candles and oil lamps for illumination. She woke in the night to find her sister searching through a trunk located next to Mom's side of the bed. The lamp was lit and she could clearly see and hear her sister in her nightgown going through the trunk. Before she could ask her what was going on, she realized she could feel someone next to her in bed. She sat up to see her sister sound asleep next to her. She looked back and forth between each of the two and then pulled the covers over her head and lay there, trembling and listening to the sounds of her sister searching the trunk AND the sound of that same sister lightly snoring next to her, until sunrise the next morning. She told her family about it but no one believed her. Mom was a no nonsense type and was 16 years of age when this occurred. It was her only paranormal experience and it still frightened her 50 years later.” - Celia Lovett

Strange Laredo, TX: Baby Mothman?
I recently received the following account:
Hello Sir, I am from Laredo, Texas. I had a sighting that has remained fresh in my mind for more than 20 years. I was 17 years old and had just joined a band as a lead singer/rhythm guitarist. We were practicing outside when we all automatically stopped playing and gazed in disbelief as a creature floated or slowly glided about 20 feet from the ground and about 20 feet away from us. It can only be described as as baby with small head with red eyes. He had no feathers just skin under the wings. It turned and looked at us as he was slowly gliding by.
Aside from me there were 3 other witnesses one of which passed away a few years later. I have looked everywhere for years trying to identify this flying baby but have never seen or heard of anyone else reporting it. The closest I have found to the phenomenon is the mothman. I think this creature was a young mothman of sorts. At that time there was a lot of attention being brought via a magazine of a Batboy but I never believed that magazine. Thinking about it now maybe it was rooted on that thing we saw. Maybe you can help? Have you heard of anything similar? Thank you for your time. God bless - RR

I was drinking with my friends one night. It was around 3:00 AM. I wasn't at home, and my bladder was full and I needed to take a leak. Behind the house was some palm trees and as I was about to take a leak, I saw this white owl come across and land right on the palm tree above me. As I was taking a leak, I heard this voice say, 'Hey, Nah ha' And I looked up and I saw the owl and we made eye contact. It was like a female voice, like, old, a grandma voice is what I heard from it. I heard it clearly coming from that owl. And I made eye contact and I got scared and I ran inside. It spoke to me kind of like a parrot, you know. I heard it say, 'Hey, Nah ha.' That's the way I took it. It had a voice like an old lady. I made eye contact with it. I got scared and went inside. I wasn't on drugs or anything. I was just drinking Budweiser. Ever since then it has just stayed with me, you know.” Juan

'They Always Find Me'
Escondido, CA - 2018-04-28: Around 3:30am I had sleep paralysis. Could not move, frozen, it started to get quiet and I live next to a freeway. Windows always open so it's always loud. I am curious on how they always find me. The last house was a nightmare. It's been very quiet here for about 1 year. There is a sound that is hard to explain. My ears popped. There is a small sonic boom crackle with it, followed by, well I guess the only way to put it is hearing a ringing of deafening proportion. ("they must have been around all day. You know when they are their because they glimmer. They sparkle. Like a flash of light. Was seeing them all that morning walking around the property.") (You can call me crazy all you want, but when you have been dealing with this like I have since I was a child you start to recognize certain glitches in the system so to speak.) Static in the air, but it is just so draining. I can't move. Everything is going dark. It's as if you dimmed the night more if that is even possible to imagine. I can feel myself slipping away. The feeling is like someone drugged you with a huge sleep sedative. Full-force sleep paralysis......(They use this tactic all the time. Most can't handle it so they give in, or get stuck in the in between stage as I like to call it. Where your completely frozen but still aware of your surroundings.) ("I have been training myself for years now on how to get out of whatever it is they put me in a trance like coma when they come. FYI.....Not easy to do")
The buzzing is starting to fade but the feeling this time is so strong. angry. It's building, the rage. Fight or flight is kicking in. Overwhelming sense of awareness is hovering over me. Short sparkles followed by a huge shadow starts to appear. I can finally start to see but getting dizzy. Eyes are starting to focus on what it is that I was seeing... then there it was. As I looked up at out of bed. (Tall, red - slender toned body. Very fleshy looking. Reptile almost looking around the head but also had a very normal depiction of what a Grey alien would look like. Humanoid body. 5 fingers, but they were very long followed by the the last two being shorter. 8ft tall easy. Black eyes.) Strangest thing is I wasn't scared, but more worried about the look on its face when it realized I could see it.....(sleep hasn't been easy for me lately since that day. How do I go on with my life having an experience like this. I feel like Schrodinger's cat...) It stood there forever is what it felt like. Then it raised its hand and pointed it at me. I started to feel so weak and tired. It walked over to me and every step it made I fell back slower and lower on the bed until it was directly on top of me. Its hand still outward stretched at my head. I was now looking straight up at it. Red face, with giant black eyes staring me down. The jawline and cheeks were so defined. Very humanoid. But the brow line is what got me. Everything is very emotionless with it. But the facial expression it made was very aware of me noticing it. I don't think it expected I was gonna see it. It did something though to me. Whatever it does when they first appear is how it felt at that moment. This thing fought to put me down. You could see it in its face. The strange part there was no fear with it. More like a comfortable friend you could always count on being there for you in any situation. Just very calm.
Trust me I know it sounds ridiculous, but for the first time in a long time my eyes are wide open. And what's the number 33.. it always has to do with 33. They always come or give signs at 33 on the clock. No matter the time of day, but they love to come at 3:30 or 1:33 in the morning. - MUFON

White Figure Behind the Old Oak Tree
Harold from Albuquerque, New Mexico called to tell of a weird creature sighting had in his youth:
“This takes place when I was about 11 or 12 in Louisville, Kentucky. We lived out in a trailer park that was out by the edge of the woods. Of course my dad was in the military at the time so we moved from place to place. But, anyway, I remember on that day, my brother was inside, my mom was inside. I went outside to play and I remember just playing around, you know, just a typical little kid, playing with sticks and rocks and I happened to see this little dirt trail. It was a bright, sunny afternoon. I don't remember what time it was but it was like late afternoon. I went walking on this trail and I remember I kept on walking, the bushes and the trees started getting a little bit more heavier, a little denser and I came to the middle of the trail where it separated into three. One went straight, one went to the left and one went to the right.
So I got to that one point and I happened to walk off to the right of me, you know, just walked a little bit and, a couple of few feet away from me was this big oak tree. It was like a big old oak tree. Pretty thick in size. I can't give you the estimates of size or diameter of it but it was pretty big. I stood there looking at it and I heard some noise coming from behind that big old oak tree. And, you know, my curiosity, I just stood there looking and all of a sudden I seen this white, solid-white figure with its head peeking around the corner. It didn't have any features because I would have remembered that but it was like a solid white and it kind of, like, you know how you are looking over somebody's shoulder, that way? You only see like the head and part of the shoulders? I stood there looking at it and it looked at me, then all of a sudden it started... it started moving away from there, out from the tree. So I was looking at it kind of real wide-eyed, right. And I didn't want to stick around to find out what it was so I turned around and I ran all the way back home to the trailer and I went inside.
I just sat there on the couch and was thinking about it. My mom kinda came up to me and asked me, 'Well, what's wrong. You look like, you know, your expression is all kind of surprised?' and I said, 'Mom, I seen something out in the woods but I couldn't tell, I didn't know what it was' and I described it to her. She just looked at me like, Really? and she said, 'Maybe it was just your imagination or something like that.' So ever since then I always kept it in the back of my mind. I remember it off and on. I've told my brother and my mom the story about it off and on.”

Kacey in Alaska called in to tell of her UFO sighting:
“In the middle of the '90s, I was coming home from a party at 3 o'clock in the morning. I had to pull over and take a rest and, in Alaska, it's just bright sunshine at 3 o'clock in the morning. And I closed my eyes and I heard a noise and I thought it was a bear coming out of the woods. I opened my eyes and it wasn't. It was a spaceship. A long spaceship. And it was no further away from me than 300 feet. It was moving over the road. I jumped out of my car to go closer and there were people looking back at me, human-looking people. It was going slow. They looked at me. I looked at them. And they just watched me and I watched them. They just followed the road grid to the end and at the end of the road, it hung a right and disappeared at the end.
I jumped in my vehicle, drove home, woke my son, told him to draw this, he drew me the picture of what I had seen. I still have it to this day. (Jimmy Church asks about the craft) It was 400 feet long. It was tubular-shaped. Had windows. Everyone was dressed the same. They all had Colonial clothes, Dutch haircuts, looked human, just like us. They all dressed the same. The ends of the ship were flattened. It did not make a noise except for when they crashed out of the woods. (Jimmy asks about the windows) They were sliding glass door sized. (Jimmy asks if anyone else in the town saw the object) Eleven other people. I called the Air Force, called the news. I went on the news. I had to know if anybody had seen it or if I imagined it, hallucinated it. I had to know. Eleven people from my town came forward. I'd never talked to any of them. (Jimmy asks to clarify the date and the location) 1996. Fairbanks, Alaska. (Jimmy asks what month) June. (Jimmy asks where he can find the old interview) KTUU. (Jimmy asks how long the sighting lasted) An hour. (Jimmy asks what the Air Force said) Are you on drugs, mam? Are you drunk? I don't drink. And I wanted to know myself. I mean, did I hallucinate this?”

I kept seeing shadows outside my front window. I kept telling myself it’s nothing. Every time I went to look, I saw nothing. All of a sudden I heard what sounded like white noise. It just got louder and louder. I was getting scared. All of a sudden I couldn’t move. I tried to scream, but nothing would come out. I actually saw little figures around me. I then, lifted off the couch, almost to the ceiling. I was trying to scream the whole time. Next thing I know I was back on the couch again. I have had that happen to me a couple times after that. SR

Insectoid Nocturnal Visit
I recently stumbled upon the following account:
I had been struggling all night to fall asleep due to sinus pressure and our clingy cat, and when I finally fell asleep I was on my back, which is usually uncomfortable for me. As soon as I felt myself fall over the edge and into dreamland, I seemed to wake right back up. I was frustrated and disoriented for a second when I realized there was something in my room.
Now usually when I dream, I’m immediately aware it’s a dream. Colors are over-saturated, people are more exuberant, some things are always off in my surroundings. I never dream vividly of any one location to where I doubt if I'm dreaming or not, but this time room was undoubtedly my room. My husband was snoring softly next to me. I heard the AC kick on. The fan at the end of the bed had its blinking red power light, and then the light was blocked as something shifted in front of it. There was something sitting on my stomach, blocking the light from the fan and the hallway.
I was startled, of course, but didn’t feel any urge to scream. For a split second I stared at the thing and it stared at me, assessing each other. It had a vaguely heart-shaped face, with ridged brow bones that joined together in a distinct rounded M shape, and behind the brows was a noticeable and horizontally elongated cranium, which reminded me of the aliens in the Indiana Jones movie. Under the brow bones there were deep, round recesses like an owl or something, and large black eyes that were more rounded than you usually see in depictions of your typical aliens. Under the eyes the face started to taper off before rounding into a recessed chin, and I don’t recall ever seeing a mouth due to the darkness in the room. The rest of the creature was skinny, long, but altogether it weighed less than my toddler.
My husband made a soft snorting noise in his sleep and the alien creature turned its head sharply to glance at him, and from the side its face was completely flat. Almost like ET.
It looked back to me. Delirious from sleep (or lack thereof) I reached up with sluggish arms and pressed the palm of my left hand against what should’ve been its cheek and temple. My right hand formed a loose fist, and I gently touched my knuckles to its other cheek/temple. Its skin was leathery, thin, and kind of loose. It felt like how an anolis lizard almost, sort of cool to the touch but with a gentle underlying warmth to it. Hard bone just underneath the skin meant that there was almost no fat layer between them.
It started making soft ticking noises, and tilted its head against my hands, leaning forward very slowly. The ticking intensified, deepened, and slowed down as if time itself was slowing. There was a rushing noise in my ears, my hands fell to my sides as limp as overcooked noodles, and my eyes rolled back in my head. In my last second of consciousness I recall thinking "Oh God no" and I used every last bit of my strength to roll to the side, hoping to force the thing off of me somehow.
As soon as my face connected with my husband’s shoulder, I woke up properly and sat straight up in bed. The thing was gone. Two seconds after I sat up my two-year-old started screaming — not her usual cry for a clean diaper or a bottle, but a scream. I shot out of bed and got her, cuddled her, and jumped at small noises until she had fallen back to sleep.
I also feel the need to add that this was written the morning after the incident, about two years ago. I never Googled anything about these creatures and tried not to think about it after the fact. Today, I was convinced to upload this from my documents file because I got the urge to google some things... and found out that people apparently hear these things clicking as a way of communication. That's too coincidental for my comfort levels.

“I'm a doctor. I'm 67 years old. Back when I was in medical school, I was an exchange student and I went to the University of London, Middlesex Hospital. And their hospitals and their doctors and their nurses were really great but they used a lot less technology than we did. The nurses were called sisters. And working with the patients, I had a patient ask me about a very kind, nice lady that offered her tea, and who was that person? Well, I didn't know who that was. I asked around at the hospital and this is something that all the hospital staff knew but none of the patients knew and they didn't want anybody to talk about it at all... a story of a ghost named 'Grey Lady.'
It turned out that the patients that ended up dying, right before they would die, would see this apparition that they thought was a nurse but she was dressed as the old nurses back then, before the current ones, and this is was a story about the '70s, so even before that. She would offer them tea and they would be dead within 24 hours. They had their own theory about it. One time they told a story, the staff there, about an apparently well patient who said, 'Who was that really nice lady that wanted to know if I wanted tea?' and this was a lady who was doing well and she was dead within 24 hours of a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot to her lungs. And nobody thought she was gonna die. So it's not like somebody was just going to the people that we expected to die. The theory that they had about it was that this was a nurse who was taking care of people in the old days in that hospital, Middlesex Hospital, and a patient had asked her for some tea and she forgot about it, she forgot to bring it, and the patient died and their theory was, after she died. This was her way of making amends, to try and comfort the patients that were about to die, and they believed it totally. They were totally convinced of it and they wouldn't let anybody tell anybody who was outside the circle of people who worked there.”

Black-Eyed Man Searching For His Dog
Negron from Connecticut called in to tell of his bizarre encounter:
“This was about 3 years... 4 years ago. As I originally stated, I'm a truck driver. I'm up here in Connecticut. I'm a grocery hauler and I had taken a particular load out to Hawley, Pennsylvania one year. I was up on I-84 and it was about 2:30 or 3:00 o'clock in the morning and I had to pull over and do a friendly visit on the side, a little rest area. So as I’m pulling in I see there's no one there. I pull parallel to the parking space itself. I take up this entire area and for us parcel drivers, our outdoor bathroom is between our truck and the trailer. So I got out. I left the truck running. I turned my headlights off, so I had all my running lights going on at this point. I exit the truck.
I get to the passenger side between the tractor and the trailer and halfway through I feel a tap on my shoulder and it startled me. I leaked all over myself. When I turned around there was an older gentleman. He had asked me: 'Sir, I have lost my dog, can you help me?' And I said a few syllables towards him, you know, 'You scared the heck out of me' and I said, 'Hold on a minute.' So I flipped, zipped, and I turn around and this gentleman's gone. Literally within seconds, I can't see him. It's dark out - 3:30 in the morning. And I’m looking around and I break the driver's blinker on there, being so frantic, trying to find the headlights. I turn the headlights on and, lo and behold, there is this old man who is standing right in front of me about 10 to 15 feet directly in front of my tractor. Okay. And the eyes, that is what I focused on first because it was like something I had never seen in my life before. This gentleman had the blackest eyes, as if there was just an empty vessel standing in front of you that was just lifeless, man. Like a million mile stare and just right at you. Blank face. Blank expression. No emotion. Just morbidly dead and black. And the moment I saw that, boy, I got out of there, needless to say. I got the hell out of dodge. I'm sitting there, man, and I’m shifting and grinding and chirping, skipping all sorts of shit for my gears. Finally I get out of there. I'm panicking. All sorts of weird crap is going on and I had about an hour to get to my stop.
I get to the store. The gentleman sees that I’m terribly disturbed, something's on my mind. He said, 'Boy, what is your deal? You act like you done seen a ghost, your looking around the corner before you enter a room and all sorts of crap. What are you doing?' And I said, 'You know what man, this may sound very strange to you but I really gotta get this off my chest.' I'm not the kind of individual to go and share this type of stuff, you know, this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me but I gotta get it out. So I go and tell him the same horror story and towards the end of it, he's actually kind of chuckling and I’m finding this kind of disturbing so I said, 'What is your deal? This ain’t funny, man.' He said, 'Hey, by any chance, did you happen to see, when you were at that rest area, when you look down that cliff, down that mountain, there's all those lights on, like a little village?' I said, 'I wasn't sightseeing man, I was literally here for a reason, not a season.' And he gets to telling me, there's a little tiny town down there and that's where he grew up. When he was a child, this was before I-84 came through there, the top of this mountain was a summit called Prospect Summit or whatever. So this gentleman grew up down there. People used to go to the top of this mountain and have picnics, what have you. There's a couple of picnic tables up there, I guess, that were up there. And I guess one year a man had gone up there with his dog and they got trapped by a really bad storm. And they got forced to come back down and unfortunately they got caught up in a mudslide and I guess he perished, and the dog. They ended up... they lost their lives. That was the end of that. And I’m not the first person that has come up with this same experience of this man asking for help, you know, from people who are at the rest area at a certain time of the day.
And that's my story of a black-eyed grandpa. Needless to say, I’ve never gone back to that area. I don’t plan on it. I came back down that day and I told dispatch, don't you ever ever send me to this store ever again or you can have my key and badge. They had asked me why and I told them briefly what happened and they thought it was very comical but I didn’t. That's my story.”

Unexplained Encounter
Houston, TX - 2016-06-30: Subject walked up to me in the crowd at Sea World. Average young man came up to me looked up at my face for a few seconds turned and walked away. No speaking at all. I dismissed it thinking he must have been a little mentally challenged - not a problem. A few minutes later again I was standing alone in the crowd and this "person" turned around from the group he was with and walked directly up to me and did the same thing. Looked me in the face for a few seconds and turned and walked back to his group. At the time I did not know what to make of it, again I thought that was weird but I had a lot going on so I dismissed it, turned away thinking I hope that doesn't happen again. A very weird young man. But the more I thought about it that young man was not "normal" and his actions were to direct to me to be not on purpose.
I have been in crowds like this 100s of times and this is the only occasion like this ever. Have other people had encounters like this? - MUFON

Did We Confront A Reaper?
Kim from Texas spoke to Dave Schrader about a bizarre experience she had:
“This is when I was much younger and I lived in California. I was going over to a friend's house and I was driving. I had a little MGB stick-shift at the time and I turned left on a one-way street and I pulled up in front of the place that I was going. To kind of set it up, it was two kind of rectangle buildings facing each other. They were apartments. And there was a long walkway in between those and where I pulled up there was a big gate where you go into the apartments with a large archway with a big, kind of, spring-loaded gate that you would walk through.
So when I pulled up, I pulled up with the passenger side closest to the gate. I had just pulled up, stopped and turned and looked and saw that there was this figure walking down the pathway towards us. I had a girlfriend in the car with me and we both just stopped. It was, I would say, about 8 to 9 feet tall and it looked like the Grim Reaper to me but there was no skull, there was no hands. It was just kind of blackness where the holes were. The robe was huge. I remember thinking that there was a lot of volumes of material and it was moving in slow mo. Very flowy. And as it moved toward us, it was just very slow and I was instantly just horrified, scared. That's probably the scaredest I can remember being. And you know when you get that, kind of in a panic, scared situation where it's just seconds but it feels like it lasts forever, so you have a lot of time to think? So I remember my friend yells at me to 'Go!' So I jammed the car into gear, I put the gas on it. I don't know, you have to kind of know how to drive a shift, stick-shift, but if you have the emergency brake on, you know, if you press the gas, the car will kind of hunker down and it won't go. It did that and I had enough time in the split second to look down and say, 'Okay, my brake is not on and if I make it out of this people are gonna say I had my brake on.' And so the car slowly kind of edged forward. It was like it broke free and I just kind of took off.
I remember driving for like 45 minutes before I would stop. I just was so frightened. I just drove completely across town. It was at night so I found a parking lot that had, really lit up. I pulled in there and just sat. I turned to my friend and said, 'Tell me what you saw.' And we both basically saw the same thing.”
