The Moon Is a Venusian Colony - Part I

It’s hard to believe that next year will mark the fiftieth anniversary for humankind’s taking of its first steps on the Moon, the nearest celestial body to the Earth. Just three years before the historic Moon landing of the American Apollo 11 landing vehicle, space scientists the world over were still trying to figure out what the lunar surface was largely composed of.

Patriotic contactees like George Adamski and Howard Menger, who had been to the Moon courtesy of the Venusians, told personnel of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) working on the proposed Moon shot that our astronauts would have nothing to fear in that regard, that they would find a hard and safe surface to walk on.

Perhaps the NASA scientists and technicians working on the Apollo program already knew about the lunar surface conditions; but they didn’t want to share that information with the Soviet scientists. After all, we Americans were in a race against time with the Soviets to put the first astronauts on the Moon and return them safely to Earth. If the Soviets wanted to know about the lunar surface, the head honchos at NASA probably decided it would be better if they wasted their own time and money to figure it all out. Why cut them any slack, and give them a leg up on us in the ongoing space race?

Just one month into 1966, the Soviet Union did just that. On 31 January the Soviet space program successfully launched their Luna 9 probe. It “soft landed” on the Moon on 3 February by employing its powerful retro-thrust braking rockets to set the 3,200 pound craft gently down. Of course, the Soviets amazed the entire world with this landing. Americans were beginning to wonder if NASA was going to maintain fidelity with the late president John F. Kennedy’s stated ambition for the United States of America to put the first astronauts on the Moon.

With the Luna 9, it was clear that the Soviets had taken a significant leap ahead of us in the space race. What was even more impressive was that the Luna 9 probe, after landing without any problems, was able to deploy a television camera and send live photos from the surface of the Moon. One of the biggest discoveries about the Moon revealed by this television transmission was the firm ground that the spacecraft touched down upon. This literally served to explode the famous theory of a dust-covered lunar surface in which any space vehicles would simply sink out of sight (Otto Binder, “Our Space Age” syndicated panels, 28 and 30 March 1966, Bell-McClure Syndicate, Paterson News, New Jersey).

Lunar “Pyramids” and “Spikes”

It became more than obvious that if the American populace and taxpayers were going to continue to stand behind NASA’s efforts to land astronauts on the Moon, that something should be done to at least catch up with, and maybe outdo, the Soviet Union’s great accomplishment in landing the Luna 9 on the Moon’s surface. The big breakthrough was revealed on Tuesday, 22 November 1966, when scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, declared that their own Lunar Orbiter 2 had taken photographs of what appeared to be “pyramids on the Moon,” along with other “spike-like objects or obelisks that bore a remarkable resemblance to the Washington Monument.”

A spokesperson for the JPL announced that, “Unusual mounds that appear like tall, skinny pyramids” turned up in one of the photographs among the first batches of the Lunar Orbiter 2 photographs. The photograph with the pyramids was enlarged five times and showed an area of about 750-by-550 feet. It represented the fourth of 13 potential landing sites for American astronauts slotted for exploring the lunar surface. The unique photograph was forwarded to NASA by the JPL. A spokesman for NASA noted that the area in question had about “six protuberances with the largest appearing to be about 50 feet wide at the base and 40-to-75 feet high.” The spokesman added that, “Some of the smaller ones look like upside down ice cream cones. I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

By way of explanation, the NASA spokesman declared that, “At the same time that the Orbiter 2 was photographing the area, the Sun was about 11 degrees above the lunar horizon during the sunrise phase of the Moon’s two-week long ‘day.’ This accounts for the long shadows,” the spokesman asserted, hoping that his conjecture would suffice for the members of the press corps present for his Lunar Orbiter 2 mission briefing.

The spokesman rambled on: “The striking shadow-casting protuberances are naturally occurring features on the lunar surface. They looked indigenous to the Moon and are spaced at random.” He also stated that a “determination of the precise height of the protuberances would only be possible after ground slope measurements had been made,” additionally noting that, “Some of the smaller protuberances in the cratered upland basin in the area called the Sea of Tranquility appeared weather beaten and rounded."

The source for this information was a United Press International (UPI) report dated 22 November 1966, as published in the Wednesday, 23 November 1966 edition of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Inquirer newspaper. Remember, this was almost three years before the launch of the Apollo 11 mission, whose destination was ultimately designated as the Sea of Tranquility, the location of these strange lunar protuberances and domes. Clearly, NASA officials were desirous to find out the true nature of these structures. It is doubtful they accepted the first premise offered of them being something “indigenous” to the Moon and spaced at random” insofar as the true height of each object could not be determined. Some of the objects were also purely conical in shape while others resembled obelisks. These are not naturally occurring shapes.

Some kind of fervent activity appeared to be taking place on the Moon. It might signal extraterrestrial construction on our own supposed “natural” satellite. “I once had a neighbor that was a retired bank robber. He'd spent a lot of time in prison over the years. Often in high security jails where he was forced to wear what were known as patches, which meant high viz clothing to try and prevent escape. He told me this story one night and it's always stayed with me.

On one of his many spells spent at her majesty's pleasure in the 70's his cell mate was a practicing satanist. They got talking about his beliefs one night and the satanist said he wanted to show my neighbor something. He said I'm going to raise something from the other side, but don't stare at it, stay still, take a look for a second or two, then look away. He drew something in chalk on the cell floor, chanted something and built a small fire with a few matches. My friend said he saw a small figure composed of smoke come from the fire, move around the floor for a few seconds as if it had weight/mass then dissipate. It totally freaked him out and he wasn't a man that would scare easily. He said he trod carefully around his cell mate from then on and was quite relieved when his sentence came to an end.”

Missing in San Francisco

Urban legend has it that people often go missing in San Francisco.

Based on police records, this purported myth doesn't entirely come out of thin air.

The San Francisco Police Department's Missing Persons Unit keeps track of individuals who mysteriously vanish in the city. There are currently 988 open cases going back as far as 1976, according to Sgt. Andrea Creed, one of two investigators within the unit.

"I believe we do have a lot of people who go missing here," Creed said.

“I saw a silver disk UFO back in a late Summer night in 1981 while working with a five man team of Field Artillery Forward Observers adjusting illumination rounds for a 109 MM Battery and it's Fire Direction Center. After the team also observed it, the UFO craft's crew also knew that we were observing it. Family Describes Bigfoot Encounter Near Pittsburgh, PA

Multiple Family Members Describe Close Range Bigfoot Encounter Near Pittsburgh, Pa.

A member of a family contacted me concerning an incident that had taken place on July 14, 2018, at a family picnic in a rural location outside of Pittsburgh. The person that I initially interviewed by phone sounded very sincere, and provided a detailed account of a strange encounter that various relatives experienced who attended the event that day. During the extended conversation, I was also able to interview some other family members who told me about what had occurred. They sounded shaken as they described the encounter that had taken place.

One witness I talked with saw a creature at close range that was similar to other Bigfoot reports that I was aware of from around the Pittsburgh area. I was able to obtain a lot of information from those involved concerning the unusual experiences that had occurred.


The family members, who didn’t want to be identified, were perplexed over what had taken place and were looking for answers to what had occurred. I contacted two experienced Bigfoot Investigators, Dave and Cindy Dragosin who lived in the Pittsburgh area as well. The Dragosin’s while independent investigators, also collaborate with other Bigfoot research groups such as the Keystone Bigfoot Project, Pennsylvania Cryptozoological Society, and Goosebumps Paranormal. Dave has become well known as a Bigfoot eyewitness forensic artist, where he sketches the creatures described by witnesses whom he has interviewed.

Dave and Cindy arranged to meet with family members during daylight at the location where the encounter had taken place. The witnesses were reluctant to return to that location after dark. The investigators interviewed those involved, took pictures and gathered other information, and Dave sketched the creature based on the testimony of an eyewitness.

The following details were obtained from the investigation report by Dave and Cindy Dragosin. Some information was edited to protect the confidentiality of those involved.

On Sunday, July 14, 2018, nine family members along with their large dog began their day-long family picnic during the late afternoon. They were planning to dance, play music, and cook a lot of food and meat on the grill to celebrate a birthday. The children were running around in the woods gathering dead tree limbs to be used for fuel in the campfire for later that evening. There was no electricity in the area, and they had to use the water source available nearby.

The tantalizing aroma of the food and meat cooking filled the surrounding wooded area. Shortly after 11p.m., many of the personal belongings and picnic items began to be placed in the family cars, but the campfire remained lit and the karaoke machine kept on playing, with the family dancing and singing around the campfire.

At approximately 11: 30 that evening, the family dog became agitated by something moving rather stealthily in the woods just to the east of a nearby structure. This very large dog began to growl and bark in a rather agitated manner. Whatever was moving from east to south in the perimeter surrounding the structure began to growl back at the canine.

This commotion caused a male adult, who was standing approximately 15 to 20 yards away, to draw his attention toward the location where the water was located, and the wooded area south of the structure. As the growling continued, growing louder with more intensity, the man noticed a form emerging from the shadows of the trees into the light of the campfire and before his eyes he observed a very, very big, hairy humanoid like creature. The witness was mesmerized for a brief moment as the creature stood with legs apart and its long arms outstretched exuding intimidation. The man estimated that the creature stood around 8 feet tall. The creature appeared to be very muscular and massive with broad shoulders and covered with long dark hair.

The witness stated that he could hear the creature breathing profoundly and heavily, as he watched its huge chest moving in and out. The man was immediately struck with fear because not only of the creature’s size, but said this huge hominid like creature had glowing red eyes. The witness for about 10-15 seconds was able to see the full frontal appearance of the creature, but it was too dark to see any facial characteristics or other specific details.

The man also recalled there was a brief moment where the creature was swaying back and forth, from left to right for only a couple of times. Then in an instant, the creature turned to its right and ran extremely fast toward the same direction from which it came into the northeast woods. Another young boy said that he also saw the creature run back into the woods.

In the meantime, the dog, tethered nearby, continued to bark furiously in what members of the family say was a rather agitated and defensive manner. Two women ran to their cars parked near the structure, turned on the ignition and adjusted the cars so that the car’s headlights faced into the woods in anticipation of seeing what was fleeing from their picnic area.

All of the frightened family members said they could feel the ground beneath them resound from the size and weight of the creature, as it fled the vicinity through dark dense wooded area. None of the other family members stated they actually saw a full frontal version of the creature, only a brief silhouette of its movement through the woods.

Following the experience on July 14th, the children were rounded up, placed in their respective vehicles, all belongings were gathered and the campfire was extinguished in order to vacate the picnic site as quickly as possible.

During a one-on-one, face to face interview session that was set up with the family, it was noted that all family members were quite sincere in their reiteration of the event. It was determined that what they saw was a true to life changing encounter. Each and every one of the family adult members were anxious to interpret what they were able to hear, and that was the vocalizations between their pet dog and the creature growling, snarling and chortling at each other. The temperature that evening was very humid, in the mid-70s, and the skies were clear. Other than growls and snarls, there were no other external vocalizations or odors emitted from the creature.

It was also noted and agreed upon that just prior to the creature’s appearance, the aroma of cooked meat and various food lingered, along with the children and women shouting, laughing and playing gleefully around the campfire and songs were being sung in preparation of singing Happy Birthday and cutting the cake. Unfortunately, that part of the birthday celebration never happened that night.

When the investigators returned to the site at a later date and the exact location was pointed out to the investigators, the tree that the creature stood by was measured and the head of the creature was approximately at an 11 foot mark on the tree.

Stan’s addendum:

Historically, there have been numerous reports of Bigfoot encounters originating from throughout the greater Pittsburgh area and surrounding counties. These incidents continue to be reported yearly from throughout the state. The creature may have been attracted to this location by the smell of the food cooking and the human activity that was taking place.

There have been numerous incidents reported where these large hair covered creatures have thrown large rocks and tree limbs in the direction of humans that were nearby. This has suggested to some researchers that they are marking their territory and want the trespassers to leave. As in this case, the creatures have at times approached within close range of the observers but generally move off from the area once they are seen. This creature seemed curious of the human activities but did not approach any further into the picnic area to harm the individuals.

Mortician Recalls 'Alien Body'

The following report was posted today at the MUFON CMS:

1964-01-01: A couple years ago, my wife and daughter were visiting Lou Roberts in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Lou is an old friend of my wife’s father Jim Piper. Lou and Jim became life-long friends when they were morticians in the early 60’s. Lou shared with us a fascinating experience regarding what he believed was a autopsied alien body that he discovered in a child’s casket and vault in the basement of Olinger's Mortuary where he worked. He did some research at the time and found a connection to alien bodies that disappeared following the Roswell incident, and the being he saw in the child's casket. Fortunately he wrote down the experience and had it published by a small publisher in New Mexico. Unfortunately, Lou and his wife lost his copy of the book when they threw out a lot of their stuff.

After a lot of phone calls to libraries, I was successful in finding a copy of the small book, (30 or so pages.) the book is called; "They Were Here" written by Lou Roberts. He also shared with us his memories of another encounter with "visitors" as a child that he had on two occasions, and later a tiny foreign object discovered in his ankle. Lou is getting up there in years and we plan to visit him and video him recalling his experiences. Until lately, Lou has rarely spoken of his experiences, but I think due to his age, is now fine sharing his story. He has no photos, only memories and a book describing his strange experience.

The reason I am contacting you is that I need advice of where and who I can share his book for the record. It's a bit of a long story, and I was hoping you could give me a call when you have a moment.

Scaly 'Monster' Attacks Car

The following article was published in the "Greenville News," November 10, 1958:

Riverside, Calif.--A funny thing happened to Charlie Wetzel on the way home Saturday night.

A monster jumped out at him.

That's what he told authorities who planned to continue an investigation of the incredible story.

Wetzel, 24, a resident of nearby Bloomington, reported soberly that he was driving on a street near Riverside when a frightening creature jumped in front of his car.

"It had a round, scarecrowish head," he said, "like something out of Halloween.

"It wasn't human. It had a longer arm than anything I'd ever seen. When it saw me in the car it reached all the way back to the windshield and began clawing at me.

"It didn't have any ears. The face was all round. The eyes were shining like something fluorescent and it had a protuberant mouth. It was scaley, like leaves."

Wetzel said he became terrified when the creature reached over the hood of his car and began clawing at the windshield. He said he reached for a .22 pistol he had in the car.

"I held that pistol and stomped on the gas," he said. "The thing fell back from the car and it gurgled.

"The noise it made didn't sound human. I think I hit it. I heard something hit the pan under the car."

Sheriff's officers said Wetzel pointed at some thin, sweeping marks he said the creature made on his windshield. They went to the scene of the claimed apparition but said they could find nothing to prove or disprove Wetzel's story.

The scene is at a point where North Main Street dips and crosses the Santa Ana River bed, which is usually almost dry.

Wetzel said he told the story to his wife and she induced him to phone authorities. "I kept saying no one would believe a story like this," he said.

Sheriff's Sgt. E. R. Holmes said he thought perhaps a large vulture might have flopped on the hood of Wetzel's car--"Sometimes cars hit them when they're in the road eating rabbits cars have killed," he said. So he searched the area himself Sunday. "But," said Holmes, "I didn't even find a feather."

UFO Encounters Affect Cellphone

Mitch from Vancouver called to tell of his UFO experiences:

“I want to share an experience because there has been a lot of activity, UFO-wise, in Vancouver. Back in February of this year (2012), back when it snowed really bad. It was just a quick snowstorm happened out of the blue and then it was gone, basically gone the next day. Anyway, I was standing outside with my friends and then all of these green lights, you know how a laser pointer looks in the fog, things like that? There were these four green lights, spread out. It looked like a scanner almost, they came down from the sky, they passed over our house and then as soon as they passed over our house, there were other houses on the block that it could hit, it wasn't very wide, it was about the size of a house, maybe two houses and in each of those houses. It hit those houses it disappeared and as it disappeared... or after it disappeared, you could hear three like really loud gunshots. They sounded like gunshots, just bang bang bang.

Later on this year, I was in Beaverton (Ontario), I just got off work and I was coming outside and there was this white flash of light. Just huge. It covered the whole area, almost looked like lightning, but no cloud in the sky anywhere. I thought maybe a transformer got hit. There was no noise. You would hear that at our house, you would hear it from far away. I thought those were both strange experiences. Now, after each of these, my phone went gobbledygook. It started vibrating and I pull it out of my pocket and the screen is completely garbled. I can't discern any information from it and then it just shuts off. And everything works fine afterwards. I thought those were the strangest things I've ever encountered and I know I sound like a nut, maybe. I don't care.”

Wildfire Near Berlin Detonates WWII Ammunition

Firefighters struggled Friday to tame a wildfire southwest of Berlin but had to maneuver carefully as the blaze set off old World War II ammunition that is still buried in the forests around the German capital.

Flames forced the evacuation of several nearby villages and sent clouds of acrid smoke toward the German capital.

The fire, which was the size of 500 soccer fields, has already set off several detonations of old ammunition, according to local lawmaker Christian Stein. Firefighters were not allowed to enter suspicious areas.

Frightening UFO / Humanoid Encounters

I recently received a very interesting telephone call from an eyewitness 'WA' in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This is in reference to an incident that occurred in 1973 in Douglasville, Georgia, as well as continued UFO encounters...culminating to present day 'humanoid' sightings in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

In 1973, WA was in the back seat of his mother's car with his brother. They were traveling south on Powder Springs Highway towards Douglasville, GA one early evening (dusk). They began to notice cars speeding past them and driving recklessly. In fact they witnessed one car careen off the road and flip into a nearby field. The boys looked out the back window and observed a huge saucer-shaped craft hovering behind their car. Their mother hit the gas and headed directly to their home on Hickory Rd in the Hickory Estates in Douglasville.

They quickly exited the car and rushed inside, the boy's mother telling them to go to their rooms upstairs and to stay there. She called the local police to report what had happened. The police were very busy taking other calls from local residents reporting a flying craft over the neighborhood.

When the boy's mother got off the phone, she heard loud noises coming from the roof. She yelled for the boys to come downstairs, fearing that they may be in danger. All three ran outside and witnessed 3 short-stature beings dressed in white 'NASA-like' space suits without helmets, standing on top of the roof. WA stated that these beings looked 'perfectly human,' with regular facial features and 'slanted eyes.' They stood still and looked directly at WA and his family. They quickly went back into the house, waiting for police.

When the police arrived, they demanded that the families in the neighborhood stay indoors as they investigated the situation. Apparently, the police told the boy's mother that they witnessed the 3 beings and that 'Federal authorities were on the way.'

In the meantime WA and his brother were in their shared bedroom. About the same time the police came into their house, one of the beings 'came through the wall in the bedroom.' It didn't say anything, but WA said that 'we had a strange sensation and possible lost a small period of time.' The brothers were paralyzed during the encounter and could not react. When the being exited through the wall, they regained their faculties and screamed, running downstairs to their mother and the police. One of the officers quickly went upstairs, but found nothing.

A few hours later that same evening, Federal authorities arrived and questioned the families in the neighborhood, including WA and his family. WA remembers that his father, who had been at work during the incident, was annoyed that Federal authorities were in his home. His father always maintained that the entire incident was some sort of mass hysteria and actually punished his sons when they would mention the incident.

After the encounter, WA had a oozing sore develop on his ear. It never healed and eventually started to expand in size, until a year later a 'small hard chip-like object' broke through the skin. He showed the object to his father, who immediately threw the object into the trash and punished WA severely.

About the same time (WA recalls it was the summer), WA and his brother spent the night outside in the back of his father's open pickup truck. As they gazed into the night, the same saucer-shaped craft descended from above and hovered over them. WA is positive that they lost time during this encounter. These occasional UFO encounters have continued over the years.

Fast-forward to the current time. WA lives in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has witnessed 'upside-down funnel-shaped craft ascend from the ocean' at different times. He also reports that there have been 'humanoids' seen throughout the Ft. Lauderdale area recently. He had a strange encounter with 2 'women' who he swears were not completely human because they were quite tall and had unusual facial features. WA has talked to other residents in the general area who have witnessed bizarre humanoids.

This is an interesting scenario, because I received a report of an unknown large humanoid seen and photographed from the backyard of the witness (a local teacher) and his daughter. As they arrived home, the humanoid was hanging onto a utility pole. They described it as 'thick in body, muscular' and that the face was 'not distinguishable.' The being moved slighting back and forth. This was in the Lauderdale Estates and occurred on June 15, 2018. It was early evening, and the photograph was quickly captured by the daughter on her cellphone. The Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team has attempted to adjust the light on the image in order to make the being more visible. We have determined, through area measurement from later photographs, that the being was at least 8 ft in height in the crouching-like position. Below is the original and light-adjusted images.

I love your books. I've also been getting your Phantoms & Monsters daily emails for quite some time now and really enjoy them. But, yesterday, there was a story that popped into my inbox that amazed me. It amazed me because I had an experience that was eerily similar to the one told, and I felt compelled to write you and tell you about it. The story that I am referring to is the "Fozzie Bear" Alien story. I also had an experience like this one, and like the original storyteller, the year would have been 1972.

This happened when I was an infant. I was born in November 1971, which is why I believe that my experience happened sometime in early 1972. It is my first memory, and I remember it clearly. This experience occurred in Downey, CA.

My mom laid me in my crib and left the room. I was laying in my crib, when out from under my crib emerged Big Bird. Big Bird sang songs to me, made jokes, and entertained me. I remember that I liked it, and it made me giggle. Then Big Bird crawled back under my crib. A few seconds later, Ernie came out from under my crib. Ernie also made jokes, talked to me, and made me giggle. Ernie then crawled under my crib, and a few seconds later, out came the Count. The Count began to perform magic for me, but I wasn't as keen on seeing the count. He was a vampire and he frightened me. I began to cry. The Count became upset when he saw me crying and tried to "shush" me. He kept asking me not to cry, and to be quiet. The Count then looked back at my closed bedroom door, looked alarmed, then rushed under my crib.

A split second after the Count had disappeared under my crib, my grandmother came in. I was screaming by this time, out of fear. I remember my Grandmother changing my diaper, then leaving the room. I was angry with her because I wanted her to pick me up and take me out of the room, because I was terrified. Unfortunately, I couldn't yet talk, and my screams did nothing to make her pick me up. I also believe that I was a young enough infant that I couldn't yet roll over because the entire experience happened as I laid on my back.

I shared my experience with friends growing up, but was never believed, and was typically told I must have been dreaming. I don't believe I was dreaming. I always believed that this was some strange paranormal event that left enough of an impression that I remember it, even though I was so young at the time. My belief that it was real was confirmed one day. In my memory of this event, I can remember a specific wallpaper that was in my bedroom at the time of the "visit". Years later, as a teenager, I asked my mother if I had such wallpaper in my room as a baby. She confirmed that, yes, I did have that wallpaper, but she couldn't believe that I remembered it because I was an infant at the time. She also told me that right after she had me, we lived with my grandparents for several months until she could get on her feet and find a place for the two of us, and that it was at my grandparents house where the wallpapered room was. I have no recollection of living with my grandparents as an infant, but the fact that my grandmother came in to change my diaper after my experience further confirms to me that this must have been an actual memory, and not a dream.

I also find it interesting that in my experience, the "visitor" also seemed to know when an adult was approaching the room and made a hasty exit, just like the experience that the other storyteller had. I wonder how many other children were visited during this time by "friendly Sesame Street characters".

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading. I wish I knew who the person was that originally told their story, I'd love the chance to chat with them! I guess I'll just have to settle for the knowledge that I'm not crazy, and someone else actually experienced this same thing!

'Electrical Phenomena' Haunting

From the 'Great Falls Tribune; on August 4, 1957:

Tulsa, Okla--Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Wilkinson and their 12-year-old daughter packed their belongings and moved out of the house they claim is "haunted" by an electrical phenomenon.

"I'm about to crack up," Mrs. Wilkinson said. "I wish someone would come forward and tell us what's causing all this."

The family thought their troubles had ended after Wilkinson, an oil company employee, dug up water pipes around the house and removed a new metal fence he believed responsible for creating a magnetic field.

The family slept in their car after tables and chairs went on a weird "dance" and overturned. They are puzzled as to what's causing electrical plugs to blow up without being connected, a sweeper to go on an aimless course through the house, and various household articles to start hopping around.

The "mystery" has damaged their $1,300 electrical organ, caused the refrigerator motor to blow out twice and knocked the clock from its shelf six times.

Wilkinson said be had lived on the property for 23 years without prior incident, until this month. "We don't know if the thing is a magnetic field, uranium, an old gas pocket under the ground, or what," said Wilkinson, "but it has us completely unnerved and so upset we can't live a normal life here. We're moving."

A later article stated:

One night, the Wilkinson daughter came into her mother's room complaining that the sweeper was "crawling over her stomach." When Mrs. Wilkinson went into the girl's bedroom, she saw that the sweeper's extension cord had been wrapped around the bed several times, and the vacuum itself was sitting on the bed, apparently waiting for someone to tuck it in for the night.

Blood-Sucking Sheep-Killer in Ukraine

Several mysterious deaths occurred in the village of Matveyevtsi in the Ternopil region. There, during the night, someone killed eight sheep in a koshar in the open air. An unknown creature drank more than ten liters of blood and did not even touch meat. In massacres villagers suspect a wolf, who allegedly roams the surrounding villages. However, veterinarians and hunters deny involvement of the wolf, since they did not even try mutton.

Last night was a serious test for the herd. A mysterious creature put eight 70-kilogram sheep on the scapula. The master, who at dawn came to expel the flock from the koshara, was dumbfounded from what he saw.

"One lies, the other is lying, the third, the fourth and so on, all over the place, I do not know what it is," says farmer Mikhail Ostapyuk.

2018: Possible Bigfoot Activity in Pennsylvania

Possible Bigfoot Activity Ongoing in Pennsylvania in 2018 (posted 8-22-18)

In January, large tracks were seen in the snow in Fayette County. In February, odd tracks were also reported in the snow in Armstrong County. Since May, there have been ongoing reports coming in from widespread locations of unusual sounds being reported from wooded areas. Some of the people who have heard these vocalizations are experienced outdoorsmen or hunters, and are quite familiar with the area wildlife noises. They are baffled by what they and their neighbors have been hearing.

Reports of horrible screams that have massive volume, monkey sounds, and various other odd calls have been reported from various areas from the southwest section of the state. Local residents are independently reporting not only the odd vocalizations, but the sounds of breaking and falling trees, and in some cases the sound of what appears to be heavy bidpedal footsteps. At some locations animals seem frightened, and the local nature sounds suddenly just stop when these loud vocalizations are heard.

In August, Eric Altman, Director of the Pennsylvania Cryptozoology Society and I, were investigating recent incidents deep in the woods at locations of Westmoreland and Armstrong counties, where residents had been reporting these activities. In Armstrong County some interesting tree damage was found on healthy trees, where limbs appeared twisted about 9 to 10 feet off the ground.


At a heavily wooded location in Westmoreland County, where there has been a history of Bigfoot activity around the general area, a flattened area about 8 feet long, was discovered by the property owner. This did not look like a deer bedding area or related to weather damage that I have seen many times over the years. It looks as though some large animal may have been lying in that location. There is no way to say it was Bigfoot, but similar flattened areas have been seen over the years at locations where we had investigated possible Bigfoot activity.


During the last year, I have lectured and appeared at many events throughout this part of the state and a number of people approached me, some very privately, and shared their personal accounts of seeing what they believed was a Bigfoot. Some folks had some interesting photos to share of footprints that they had found at various locations. Some people had talked with friends or relatives who had had recent encounters even in 2018. Some of them shared these accounts, but told me the witnesses were reluctant to come forward fearing that they wouldn’t be believed.

I recall hearing reports for example from Allegheny, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland counties as well as from areas around the Allegheny National Forest, and in the eastern part of the state. Look for my upcoming report concerning a multi-witness incident with a Bigfoot that was observed at close range in the Pittsburgh area this past July.

As recently as last night, I received a report from a rural location outside of West Newton, that a series of strange whoop calls were heard, and later the sound of three heavy footsteps were also heard in the area where the whoop sounds were coming from. This area has had a history of Bigfoot sightings since the late 1960s.

Jeffrey Teagle, avid Bigfoot Hunter and host of Chattahoochee Bigfoot Radio, answered a question from a fan on whether or not he had ever encountered an alien:

“Yes, I have seen what I believe to be Greys and I've seen them on two different occasions. Once when I was a child. I had an experience one night. I was probably around 6 or 7 years old. I remember sitting up in the bed. You know, back there in those days, back when I was a kid, people didn't lock their doors, stuff like that. I kind of lived out in somewhat of a rural area and I remember the door coming open one night and this light coming through it. I mean just this bright, like a bluish-white light and I remember seeing this little person come walking in and he had this kind of leotard jumpsuit on and he came up and he sat down on the bed with me. And here I am, five or six years old, freaking out, you know. And I'm freaking out and I'm trying to scream but nothing is coming out. This creature, being, or whatever it was, just kind of sat there a minute, then it got up and walked into the kitchen. And my little curious ass went in there and there was nothing in there. So I kind of chalked it up to being some kind of childhood dream or hallucination or something like that.

It wasn't until I was an adult that I saw a similar being, almost in the same way. You know, I think I had just gotten married at that time back in like '96 or '97 and, you know, the thing came into my house in the same type of manner. So have I seen them? Well, if I haven't seen them then I've had some pretty damn vivid dreams of them. Now if you want to look at it from the perspective of, have I seen them while I was Bigfoot hunting? Well, I haven't seen a creature per se but I have seen some very very strange craft-like objects and funny glowing little lights and stuff going through the woods and stuff while I was Bigfooting. I don't know. Even now, I'm a tad bit unsure if what I seen was even real but I'm 99% sure that, yes, I have seen aliens.”

Bigfoot 'Official Animal' of NC Town

A North Carolina mountain community that gained national attention last year for a reported Bigfoot sighting is proclaiming the mythical creature its “official animal.”

Marion town officials say the proclamation is largely ceremonial, but serves as acknowledgment that elements of the community believe the mythical animal actually exists.

Mayor Stephen Little admits in the fine print that he’s never actually seen a Bigfoot, but he says anyone coming to Marion might see one.

Strange Debris Found at Dyatlov Pass

A tourist found around the neck of Dyatlov, in the Urals, a metal object that he thinks is a missile coin. This pass is infamous for the mysterious disappearance of nine skiers-hikers in the night of February 1 to 2, 1959, which gave rise to many speculations.

A metal object, one meter in length and width, was discovered by a tourist in the region of the Dyatlov pass in the Urals, where mysterious dissenters hikers, say Russian media.

According to Yuri Kountsevich, head of the Foundation for the Memory of Yuriy Dyatlov's group, the discovery had actually been made in 2008, but it is only recently that an expedition managed to get it down send to Yekaterinburg for analysis. Nocturnal Humanoid Confrontation

Ed from California wrote to tell of a weird encounter he had:

“I want to tell you about an experience I had a few years ago. It was June of 2006. I was exhausted due to finals week. I was working on earning my bachelor's degree and I worked in the evenings for FedEx.

I was driving home after my shift ended a little after 3:00 AM. I rolled the windows down and enjoyed the cool breeze while listening to some oldies. I was getting off the I-210 in San Bernardino, getting close to the exit light. That's when I noticed a car stopped on the shoulder and what appeared to be a very large man. I got closer and noticed his face. It wasn't a normal face. He, or It, looked inhuman. No ears, a weird nose, a pronounced brow and eyes that glowed bright when my headlights shown on him. I started becoming afraid which is something I'm not used to. Also, I should note, I'm 6'3 and at that time I exercised a lot, wrestled and boxed. I'm not cocky, never was, but I grew up in rough areas in Los Angeles. Fighting was just normal. That said, I wanted to get away from there.

I hit the gas pedal and almost crashed trying to get off the freeway. I pulled over and calmed myself down because I was shaking. I kept telling myself to calm down. I got angry. I decided to go and help a stranded motorist. That's what I kept telling myself I saw. I grabbed a flashlight and a tire iron. And, you know, just to be safe, my buck-knife. I headed back to the vehicle. I called out: 'Anyone there!?!' I checked out the car and the area. There were weird footprints in the dirt. They didn't look like shoe prints. There were hand prints on the trunk. I say hand because the print didn't really look human. I started getting an awful feeling in my lower back and I realized I was in a heightened state of alarm. I couldn't shake the feeling I wasn't alone there. I kept calling out, 'Who's there?' But I'll admit, I didn't want to find out or get an answer. I went back to my car and drove home.

I didn't sleep for three days. My roommates thought I was having a psychotic episode but when I told them what happened, they started freaking out. One thought it was a demon, another thought it was an alien which I'm more inclined to believe. It's been over ten years since that incident and I'll be happy to never have another incident like that again.”

This happened when I was a small child, probably around 4 after I had experienced what I know now as a near death experience.

I was with my grandmother, who was very healthy (still is very healthy for a 70-year-old woman) for her age. We went trekking across our property with a picnic basket in tow, just looking to sit down with our dog and have a nice time. Normal grandparent stuff.

We ended up crossing the creek (it was dry at the time) to go to the back pasture. Nearby, probably... oh, 50 yards away, was our cedar tree. We had sat down and started eating when our dog started acting crazy. This dog, bless her soul, was an angel. Did not act like a dog most of the time. She never barked, never jumped, always acted polite. She went nuts, running in circles around us, growling and barking.

My grandmother got concerned so she put our picnic stuff back in the basket and tried to calm her down. I was sitting a few feet away, scared because my dog was growling.

I will admit my memory gets fuzzy around here, but I remember seeing a large gray creature step out of the creek/treeline we had previously walked through. My grandma scooped me up and booked it out of there, our dog running with us.

I am 90% sure she ran to the cedar tree. She always talks about it being her favorite tree, and about how protective it is. The tree was a lot closer than her house, that was roughly a half mile away at this point. I just know our dog calmed down and I was happier.

No, I don't live in the southwest, I live in the south central/east in Arkansas, close to Louisiana. So, I have no idea what it could be. - Katriana98

It was tall, I'm not gonna guess because I was so young and don't want to overshoot it. Gray-skinned, with skin that seemed too tight and stretched. A sharp pointed head, and I think there was some kind of.... antlers or horns on it.

The comments suggested a possible 'Rougarou' and upright canine creature...or 'skinwalker-like' entity. Your thoughts. Lon

Trignac, Pays de la Loire, France - 2016-02-05 02:00: I am over 80 percent sure that I have been kidnapped by extraterrestrials in my sleep and repeatedly. When I found out what it was doing I did everything to escape and come back to my home. It got horrible. I think they have had to take a bit of everything from me and I remember some creatures who wanted to mate with me or reproduce with me. 69 Major Quakes Hit 'Ring of Fire' in 2 Days

Sixty nine major earthquakes have hit Earth's most active geological disaster zone in the space of just 48 hours.

Sixteen 'significant' tremors - those at magnitude 4.5 or above - shook the Pacific 'Ring of Fire' on Monday, following a spate of 53 that hit the region Sunday.

The quakes rattled Indonesia, Bolivia, Japan and Fiji, but failed to reach the western coast of the United States, which also falls along the infamous geological ring.

The tremors have raised concerns that California's 'Big One' - a destructive earthquake of magnitude 8 or greater - may be looming.

Scientists have previously warned that Ring of Fire activity may trigger a domino effect that sets off earthquakes and volcanic eruptions elsewhere in the region.

California, which straddles the huge San Andreas Fault Line and sits on the eastern edge of the ring, is long overdue a deadly earthquake, researchers claim. Mystery Odor Forces Emergency Landing

A Frontier Airlines flight made an emergency landing last night due to an unknown smell in the cabin.

Flight 1674 from Orlando to Philadelphia was forced to land at Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina around 7pm.

Photos showed firetrucks waiting on the runway and firefighters making checks on board the plane.
