Abduction: Examined by a Hooded Entity

The following account was recently submitted to the MUFON CMS. It's a very interesting narrative:

Guildford, England, UK - 1993-09-30: I guess the best place to start is a little bit about me. Why? To show I am normal, and that something not normal happened to me. I am 46 years old, and an engineering manager for the Royal Mail (British Postal Service). Before that I was a highly qualified and experienced mixed gas diver. Two jobs where you won't be long if the boss thinks you're crazy. I am not crazy. My wife is aware of some of my experiences. She's sort of indifferent to it and doesn't tell anyone about it, but at the same doesn't judge me.

My earliest memories are from about 5 years old. I clearly remember a blue light shining into my room from outside. This would have been in the middle of the night as it was dark outside. I remember looking out of the window and seeing an electric blue disk approx 60 ft across. I didn't realise the importance of this until later in my life. There is another incident, of which I am very hazy, and would have been from the same age. Again a bright light, but this time I remember as the light dimmed, I was no longer in my room, but on a small sandy clearing in a forest of pine trees. Some of the sand had rough lumps of glass, as if the sand had been melted by heat.

So, leading into my teens. The reason I mention this period is purely because of the questions raised by MUFON. I did suffer from horrendous migraine headaches as a teen and a couple of notable strange occurrences. To be honest I will not go into those now, as I do not believe there is a connection. We shall see as this pans out. As I said, I only mention this as I did suffer from horrendous migraines at the time and the question did bring this up. So, moving into my 20’s. I started to experience episodes. The more it happened, the more I remembered. I had friend at the time, Jon Haywood, he was the same age as me. For some reason I felt he was the only person I could confide in. He looked shocked when I told him of my experiences, but at the same time intrigued. He asked me to meet him the next night at a local bar and said he needed to show me something. I agreed. That next night I sat at the bar, Jon came in, walked straight up to me and pulled a book out of his bag. I saw the book and have never read it. I can't. I believe there is a movie of the book, certainly there is one of the same name. I can’t read it or watch it. The book was called “Communion” by Whitley Strieber. The cover of the paperback had a picture. Jon explained that the picture was an artist impression of the author’s experience. I recognised it. I had seen it. I will swear an oath on anything, including the lives of my kids. I knew that face.

Prior to Jon showing me that picture, I had had a number of experiences. As the number of experiences increased, my knowledge or rather my memory after the event increased. As the number of events, or rather my memory of them increased, I became more and more prepared for them. This came to point that I remembered specifics. My ankles were shackled some how. I would always be lifted from bed ankles first. I clearly remember on at least 5 different occasions being transported in this fashion. I learnt not to fight it and just accept this was happening. On a number of occasions the speed was quite fast. I remember being put back in my bed. I remember lying on a bed, but not my own. I would be surrounded by a team, that consisted of one tall one, approx. 1.8m and 6 shorts ones, approx 1.2 m. I felt I was being observed. Until one occasion. The large one pierced my left testicle with an object best described as a syringe, that had an appearance of stainless steel. I remember the pain. You don’t feel pain in a nightmare right?

This is important, a few months later I was told that I had cancer and had to have the same one removed. As I said, what looked like a stainless steel / silver syringe was pushed into my left testicle. I felt the pain, and I clearly remember it now. This was done by the taller of the entities, who was darker in appearance (clothing, I remember a hood that kept the face in darkness). The process lasted for a about a minute. I remember screaming, and the scream came out and it was not muffled. However I was unable to move. This was not paralysis, I was restrained somehow. After the procedure I lay there in pain for some time, the taller one left. The shorter ones remained, surrounding whatever I was lying on. This occasion is the only time where I recall the descent back to my room, like making a fast decent in an elevator. I remember the shorter ones in my room, moving around me and checking I was OK. On this occasion I recall the feeling of restraint, being replaced with a feeling of paralysis. This is where I would fight to breath. I would be completely awake but stuck in that moment. I believe I have been in the presence of the taller one on at least three occasions.

It's out of the town centre, the last road before the countryside. It only occurred to me recently the number of military / defence and space contractors are in the immediate area. I moved to a flat just out of the town centre, and this is where the last incident that I can recall took place. Again I was taken up and lay on a table of sorts, metallic - body temperature. I do not recall any procedures, just being observed.

So, regarding the cancer. I do not smoke, and I have not smoked. I have no genetic disposition to cancer and no family history of if. It was quite advanced, and came on and grew quickly - but did not spread. It was localised to that one point where the syringe was. I did not have chemotherapy, but I did have radiotherapy - which was described as being done for precaution. I made an extremely quick recovery, with no further cancer at all since then. I had scans for a further 10 years with no re-occurrences. I know what I saw. I know what I felt. I know what I experienced. At first I was terrified, but as the number incidents took place, I became curious and wanted to learn more about what was happening. I would try and take in what was happening and observe back. All these years later, when I go to bed, I am still mentally prepared for it happen again, but not since 1999. To be honest, I miss it, in a strange way. From that perspective, I almost feel abandoned by them. Maybe that's why it stopped? I was showing just as much interest in them as them to me. There has been some other incidents that I have not mentioned here. These relate to some of the questions you have asked me, and to be honest I had not thought of them like that until I saw the questions - hence me keeping them separate from my main narrative.

NOTE: I truly hope MUFON follows up with this experiencer. His situation reminds me of what David Eckhart endured in his earlier abductions. BTW, I wanted to mention that it seems there has been an increase in UFO / entity reports coming from the UK and Europe in recent months. 'Shadow Figure' Blamed For Infection

Mike in Nevada wrote in to tell of a weird experience he had:

“I'll share my scary dream or whatever it was. I'm 47 years old and have never had anything like this. Last Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning, I suddenly woke up. Or at least I felt like I woke up. I looked up and there was this shadow figure, a tall, thin man, leaning over me. His arm reached down and he was touching my privates with his long, skinny pointer finger. He didn't have a face or anything, just a shadow. I freaked but I couldn't move, speak, scream, kick, punch, run, nothing, I was frozen. I kept telling myself, Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! But I felt like I was already awake. Finally I was able to move and pull the covers over myself and sleep peacefully the rest of the night.

When I woke up in the morning, I remember it felt like it had actually happened, like it wasn't a dream. I was fine that day. but Thursday I ended up feeling like crap. I was achy all day and I felt like I had a bladder infection. Even though I felt like crap, I was busy all day. That night my wife barely touched my arm and said that I got a fever. I said, 'You can't tell that I got a fever by brushing my arm. Give me a thermometer, I'll prove I don't have a fever.' She did and sure as heck, I had a 101 fever and my bladder felt like it was full even when it was completely empty. I'm feeling better now and I don't know if it was related to the shadow figure in my room or if it was an odd coincidence but I hope it never happens again.”

Invasive Tick Spreading in US

For the first time in 50 years, a new tick species has arrived in the United States — one that in its Asian home range carries fearsome diseases.

The Asian long-horned tick, Haemaphysalis longicornis, is spreading rapidly along the Eastern Seaboard. It has been found in seven states and in the heavily populated suburbs of New York City.

At the moment, public health experts say they are concerned, but not alarmed.

Audio Sheds Light on Westall UFO Case

In 1966, over 300 children and staff from a Melbourne school reportedly witnessed multiple UFOs silently flying through the sky before landing in a nearby field.

It is the largest mass UFO sighting in Australia, yet hardly anything was reported on it at the time.

Stench Plagues Utah City

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -- A mysterious odor is plaguing neighborhoods here.

"It’s terrible. It’s gross. I can’t even describe it," said Ronda Britton.

"Sometimes when you’re walking by it’s like death," Nicholas Britton added. "You’re like, what in the heck? You’re looking around thinking 'What the heck’s around?' Maybe an animal or something."

The foul smell has even reached West Valley City Hall.

"It’s kind of a sewer type smell," said Sam Johnson, the city's communications director. "It’s just a musty, sewer smell that is very noticeable and very unpleasant that you can smell in certain parts of the city stronger, but it even comes down here to City Hall."

Possible Craft Landing in Titusville, PA

I was contacted by the original witness, who had also submitted a report to NUFORC many years later. There were a few updates given to me, but the witness asked that I not make the new information public; at least for the time being:

The incident took place in the summer of 1973, at my grandmother's in Titusville, PA. I would have been about 6-years-old....I'm now in my late 40's. I have my own memory of what I saw. However, my father later revealed to me that there was more to the account.

The following information is from the original NUFORC report:

My memory of the event is as follows. My family showed up at my grandmother’s house for a summer visit (We lived about 6 hours away). We pulled up to greet our relatives, who stood around talking about something that seemed unusual and important. My parents explained to me at that time that the circle on the ground in front of me (in the middle of my grandmother’s yard) had recently and suddenly appeared. I asked many questions for clarification, and the information I received was that one night something heavy seems to have been set there. No one knew what but the speculation and joking was that a UFO had landed there. Part of the conversation was that there were no tire marks or any other evidence around to suggest that someone created the perfect circle. It seems like a big drum could have created the impression, but how anyone could put a huge, heavy drum there and why they would do so and then remove it made no sense. My brothers, cousins, and I all decided to play with the impression, creating games from the circle and having fun while the adults chatted in a serious manner. I would estimate that the circle’s diameter measured 10-15 feet across. And, as I recall, the indentation has smashed and broken the grass (not burned or scorched). Brown dirt was visible in the groove that had been cut into the ground. I remember the groove of the circle as being more v-shaped than flat. The depth of the groove may have been about 2-3 inches. I really can’t be certain of the exact appearance and depth of the groove, but it was deep and pronounced enough to be seen from her house, from the neighbor’s yard, and from the driveway.

Years later, while in college, I asked my father about my memory, about which he expounded. Apparently, my grandmother had been experiencing strange things a few days to a couple of weeks prior to our arrival. That was, in fact, why we came to visit her. The events had spooked her so much that she wanted company with her. My active, pragmatic, not prone to exaggeration Pennsylvania Dutch grandmother had awakened one or two nights to find herself standing and staring out the window at a light. She felt as if someone was calling her name. She’d "snap out of it" and gone back to bed. Then one night she awakened to find herself downstairs in front of her sliding glass doors looking out into the yard (at the exact spot that the circle appeared). This really alarmed her because she had no memory of coming down the steps. My grandmother was born with a problem with her hip socket that gave her a limp her whole life. Making her way down the steps was a bit of a challenge to her, requiring careful balance and use of the railings. Again, when she found herself standing at her door, she had felt that she had been staring at a bright light and that someone outside was calling her name, beckoning her to go outside.

During these events is when the circle appeared. My father believes that my grandmother had contacted someone about the circle and that a man from a local university came and collected a sample of the soil from the circular impression for testing. My grandmother passed away in 1990, and my father never knew what came of the soil testing. I don’t believe that anyone thought to take a photo of the impression, which had disappeared by the next summer when we visited again. (We kids tried to find it but couldn’t.) My family has been curious about "the circle" and what happened to my grandmother a few nights that summer for many years. I don’t know how posting my story can provide any answers or additional information, but I feel compelled to share it.

NOTE: It seems that someone from the University of Pittsburgh / Titusville originally made their way to the site. After a bit of inquiry, I was told that if this were to occur present day, that the science department at University of Pittsburgh would have conducted the collection and investigation. I believe the sample was forwarded to the University of Pittsburgh, since there had been few means to conduct research on the Titusville extension. I ask for information as to the findings, but they seemed unwilling to cooperate (no surprise). I'm going to check with Stan Gordon to see if he has an record of this account. 1973-74 was a very active period for UFO activity in Pennsylvania. Lon

Dream...or Actual Alien Encounter?

Auburn, Alabama: I was asleep one night during December of 2012. I had been experiencing a deep fascination with UFO phenomena, questioning of reality, and a deep spiritual awakening. I felt as if I had had similar experiences in my youth of what I'm about to describe but could never really remember details as I do with this episode. Keep in mind I'm a mother and a professional and do not want to be deemed as crazy. I have only shared this info with my husband right after it happened.

I felt as if I was dreaming and I was back in my childhood home, several miles from where I actually was. In the dream I woke up and wandered outside as if I was being called to do so. I was then in my former neighbor's front yard. There was a silver disk with 3 very beautiful human-like beings. One "felt" male and the other two "felt" female. This was a sort of telepathic feeling I just sensed who they were and they felt familiar to me almost like meeting long lost relatives. They emanated and incredible feeling of peace, love and other things that I just cannot put into words. They ushered me into the craft. We ascended straight up. I don't really know what was going on outside the craft although it did not ascend by any means we know of today. The craft itself was operated by one of the female beings. The craft seemed to "know" her. The male and other female sat on either side of me. We had a deep conversation about life existence and our purpose here on Earth.

We then arrived wherever where. I have no idea where. it again just felt familiar. we exited the craft and we were inside of a building. There were many more beings of the same type. The area was large very beautiful and bright, there was an enormous sitting area where we continued to discuss very deep subject matter. The other entities were also communicating it was like a council or a meeting. I felt such an incredible amount of love that I did not want to leave. Suddenly they told that I had to come back that I would be ok and "they" would always be with me. I suddenly woke up in my bed. I dismissed it as a lovely dream.

A couple days later while checking my mail box I noticed a circular pattern in the grass in my front yard. The grass was bent over much like you would see in a crop circle. I asked my husband what it was and he had no idea. Then I realized that the "dream" I had. Had actually occurred and the craft had landed in my front yard. I told my husband this and of course he dismissed it. We never talked about it again until recently it came up in conversation and I said what could have caused the indentation and I wished I had taken a picture to which he replied we should have had the soil sampled. He admitted that when I first showed him the first thought he had was UFO and then after telling him the story he was so internally shaken up he couldn't think about it. - MUFON

Shark Frenzy at Myrtle Beach

Terry Egan, his wife and daughters were spending a nice day on the beach Sunday.

Little did they know, they’d soon be in for an eerie sight.

A while after getting in the ocean to cool off, Egan said his wife Jennifer felt something bump against her leg. Soon after, Egan felt two points on his forearm and experienced a sensation as if fish were nipping at him.

It wasn’t long before his daughters Shannon Hallstein and Taylor Egan had spotted the likely culprit.

“I wasn’t looking, but by the time I turned whatever it was was gone,” said Egan, who lives in Myrtle Beach with his wife and has three daughters in college. “It was just moments after that that Shannon … and my daughter Taylor were both right there with us when they looked and saw a shark. USS Lexington Ghosts?

Visitors flock to the USS Lexington to get a look at the vintage WW2 ship and if you are lucky, you just may see more than you bargained for.

“There a bunch of stories that we just can’t discredit,” said Paranormal Tour Guide, Bill Miller.

The latest was a photo taken by a man visiting from Louisiana.

In the photo you can clearly see a shadow of a man, but is it a real ghost?

We contacted the man who took the photo, who swears it’s real, and that reflection or shadow is not of a man standing by the display. There was no one else around.

Yvonne wrote in to tell of a weird experience she had in Jamestown State Park:

“We live in Richmond, Virginia. There are so many wonderful historical locations in our area and I was determined that my young daughter experience them all. One afternoon when she was about two and a half we took the 45 minute drive to Jamestown State Park. At that time, the state park was a wide open field with a few historical markers, a historical church and a statue of Pocahontas. I thought it was ideal because it would allow my daughter to run around til her heart's content. I figured that when she tuckered herself out, we'd have a nice lunch in Williamsburg and go home. Easy peezy, right? No.

When we arrived at the Jamestown State Park, we wandered around the courtyard of the church. My daughter became absorbed with the statue of Pocahontas for a few moments and then we walked on. It was just her, the Ranger and I in the park and it had no other visitors that day. I was happy to have the place to ourselves. I started walking toward the walkway thinking my daughter was right behind me. I turned around and noticed that my daughter had stopped walking. I thought that it was because she wanted to go back to the statue so I said, 'Look, Tatiana, let's go see the park.' She still refused to budge. I took her by the little hand and started walking with her up up the pathway toward the foundation markings of the original settlement. She suddenly stopped and refused to go any further. She turned her little face towards the James River. I told her we could take a quick walk around and then we could go have some lunch. She looked up at me with her big brown eyes and said: 'Can't you hear the babies crying in the water?' She had such a look of concern on her tiny face that I did what every mommy would do, I picked her up by the back of her overalls and carried her out of the park like a little purse, put her in the car and peeled out of there.

About a decade later archaeologists discovered that a majority of the original Jamestown settlement had been reclaimed by the James River. I often wonder if it was the spirits of the settlers she was hearing but her mind couldn’t work out where the noise was coming from because that area is now covered by the water of the James.”

Beyond Creepy

NOTE: When I was in high school, I was a part of a history group that visited several sites in Colonel Virginia. We actually stayed overnight in the dorms at William and Mary College (which was interesting in itself). I had an unsettling experience at the Jamestown Settlement. This was in the mid-1970s when there was a lot of archaeological work being conducted. I have talked to other people who have visited the location over the years, and the overall 'sense' of death still pervades it. I rarely have issues at historical sites where there has been known death and tragedy...but Jamestown is definitely an exception. Lon

Deadly Elephant vs. Human Conflicts in India

On the day Yogesh became another of the dozens of Indians trampled to death each year, the coffee plantation worker knew from the fire crackers set off nearby that danger was at hand.

“Everything happened so fast. The elephant suddenly emerged from behind the bushes, trampled him and disappeared,” his younger brother Girish said.

The 48-year-old from the southern state of Karnataka, home to India’s largest elephant population with more than 6,000 jumbos, 20 per cent of the country’s total, left behind a wife and two children.

As India’s population grows, people are encroaching into habitats where until now the elephant, not man, has been king, with painful effects for both parties.

Toxic 'Red Tide' Invades South Florida

In South Florida this summer, one ecological scourge has piled on top of another.

First came the red tide, a flotilla of microorganisms that dyed the sea rust and eventually stretched out along 100 miles of the Gulf Coast. Oxygen-starved fish, eels, dolphins and turtles littered beaches, in numbers too vast to count. In one marina, so many fish went belly up that they appeared to pave a walkway across the water.

The foul siege reached from Sarasota nearly to the tip of Florida by early June, when ecological insult No. 2 arrived. A green film of cyanobacteria appeared, as it regularly does in summer, in vast Lake Okeechobee. But this year the bacteria also spilled over into rivers and canals, which carried the toxic green sludge east to the Atlantic Ocean and west to the Gulf of Mexico. Already distressed Floridians gagged on the noxious odor, and more than a dozen people reportedly went to local emergency rooms after coming into contact with the contaminated water. 'Gargoyle' Sighting - South of Boston, MA

The following account was posted at Reddit today, by the user named Decay_WithMe. I contacted the witness and received a bit more information:

I live 25 minutes south of Boston. About 6 months ago I saw this insane thing. It was about 3 AM, I had been up late as I normally am. I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. It was dark as Hell except for the stars and moon. As I was smoking I heard this noise of something flying. I look up and see this winged creature land on my neighbor's roof and just sit there like a Gargoyle would. I thought I was seeing sh*t or seeing something wrong but then the creature jumped up and flew away and I could see its whole body. It was the size of a small human but massive wings. It reminded me of a Gargoyle. I don't know what the f**k I saw but it was crazy. Has anyone ever had an experience seeing something like this? Humanoid creature with wings?

After contacting the witness, I received the following message:

Hey there. I can do my best. I couldn't see the creature's face because it was dark and it was on the roof facing away from me. It looked black with a wing span upon flight maybe 4-5ft. The creature itself while crouched on the roof looked the size of a smaller human maybe 4ft. I watched it trying to figure out what I was looking at, for maybe 1 minute, then it jumped and flew off. Even when it flew away it still looked on the shorter end. As it flew, its legs hung but still in an almost crouching position. It wasn't a massive creature but it was definitely humanoid in appearance. Location was 25 minutes south of Boston around January - February of this year. Because it was on a roof next door crouched its possible this thing could have been much larger. I wish I could have seen its face.

NOTE: I'm going to attempt to gather further information from this witness. It'll be interesting to see if other sightings have occurred in the eastern Massachusetts region. Lon

Alien enthusiasts are all in a state of frenzy as conspiracy theory YouTube channel 'Mavi777' has released an eerie video which shows a strange creature walking in the Canadian woods. The YouTube channel reveals that the spooky clip was shot on July 29, 2018, by a local resident.

"I was filming a moose on a roadside in Gaspesia, Qc, Canada. Looking at the video I saw this strange shape at the back left. Can someone tell me what it is?" said the eyewitness who captured the video, Mavi777 wrote in the video description.

At the first glance, the strange creature spotted in the video seems very similar to the alien beings we have seen in movies like 'Mars attack'. The alleged alien tried to hide in the woods after noticing that a camera spotlight is on it. There was also a moose standing nearby, and the alien being seems to be trying to attack it, once it gets a chance. Invasion of Voracious Lizards in U.S. South

A group of South American lizards that can grow up to four feet long (1.2 meters) has established a home in the Florida wild after being brought to the United States as pets, and the reptiles could begin a voracious march across the U.S. South, according to a new study.

Tegu lizards, which currently live in two large colonies in Florida, could expand into an area from the Carolinas to Central Texas, according to the scientific report published in July on the website for the journal Nature.

“They are voracious, omnivorous predatory lizards that can live in a variety of habitats, but we can’t know what is going to happen or how intense this invasion is going to become until the effects are upon us,” said Lee Fitzgerald, a professor at Texas A&M University and curator of its Biodiversity Research and Teaching Collections. Remember the Montauk Monster?

The Montauk Monster began its reign of terror in July 2008, when the ghastly creature washed up on the shore of Ditch Plains, a popular surfing beach on the Montauk peninsula.

Three young women claimed to have first spotted the beast at the tail end of New York’s Long Island, and snapped a photo of the bloated, bruised carcass that appeared to have been scorched by the sun. Or maybe it was fire. The photo would would soon fascinate and revolt the millions who laid their unfortunate eyes upon it, after Gawker published the image in an 87-word blog post that set that internet ablaze.

Was it a pitbull mercilessly defeated in an illicit dogfight? An escaped mutant from a mysterious animal disease research center on nearby Plum Island? A raccoon robbed of its fur in a postmortem tumble through the sea? A turtle without its shell? But turtles don’t have teeth, and dogs don’t have dinosaur beaks. A Grateful Spirit

Nick Gromano wrote in to tell of his mother's ghost experience during World War II:

“My parents grew up in Italy during World War II. Superstition and supernatural beliefs played a big part in their childhood. During the war, they seven years of age in the beginning and twelve at the end. Times were tough. Hunger, deprivation and death played a huge part in their lives. The first story was told to me by my mom. One of the many ghost stories she would recount about spirits during the war. Funny, she has had not one ghost encounter since she's been in the USA.

As a rule, when battles were imminent in my family's area, either German or American soldiers would come into the village and force-march the inhabitants out of the town before the battle commenced. Mom told me the Germans and the Americans were the nicest troops. Others, not so much. One day a German battalion arrived in her village of Montoro in order to evacuate the civilians. A small garrison was at my mom's house. One German, a particularly handsome blonde haired, blue eyed soldier gave the children of the house candy and began to show them his medals and things. He pointed to a watch that he had that his grandfather had worn during his tour in World War I. It had kept him safe and it would keep his grandson safe, my mom was told.

The troops marched the village inhabitants out of the village into a reasonably safe zone. After two days the villagers were told it was safe for them to return to their homes and try and reclaim any valuables that may have not been destroyed during the battle. My mom's family arrived at the destroyed shack and tried to salvage whatever they could. In the field, they saw the barn door laying down on the field obviously over something since it did not lay level. A couple of the other boys lifted the door and peered underneath. There were three German soldiers lying dead. My mom was shocked to see that one of them was the handsome blonde soldier. He was dead and had one leg blown completely off. She noticed right away that he still had that expensive looking watch strapped to his wrist. Now Italian peasants always looked for items belonging to dead soldiers which could be bartered for the very scarce food items. This time however she left the watch on his wrist possibly because of her school girl crush.

Her family gathered what they could and started down the road to find somewhere safe to stay. A little ways up the road my mom got a feeling that other refugees were catching up to them. As they got closer my mom turned to greet them. To her surprise, she saw, not refugees but three German soldiers. But they didn't look right. They were kind of transparent. As they got closer and passed she was shocked to see that one of the soldiers was none other than her handsome German friend. They passed her and her soldier friend turned, smiled at her and clearly said: 'grazie' They continued down the road and slowly disappeared. My mom was shocked. When she found her tongue, she asked her family if they saw with the soldiers. They said nothing. My mom saw a lot of things during the war she couldn't explain. There was a lot of death, destruction and misery around. I figure that had something to do with the spirit activity.”

"This happened to me a few days ago...and also several years ago. I was in a terribly stupid car accident. I totaled my car. As luck would have it, my oldest didn't go through the windshield window. He was buckled. We were fighting. Just dumb stuff looking back on it but after coming off a few months of heavy stress, it seemed important. It was bad. Anyhow, it was bad. No one was hurt too badly. 911 was called. A few people came to see if we were okay. And then I felt a hand on my shoulder. 'Hey, it's all going to be okay. Help is coming. You're gonna be alright.'

It was an old guy; scraggly, unkempt, no shoes. He disappeared as the emergency people got there within seconds of this man's arrival. My oldest remembers him. The other two in the car don't. Twenty years ago I was in a head-on accident on a busy street. I kid you not, this guy came up to me and did the same thing. He said the same thing. It was the same guy. Everything was fine then, as well, eventually. It actually changed my entire life that day. It got me to a place I belonged. I think this was just a huge reminder to step back, take breath, love those you have and all around me. Life is way too short. If I could thank this man, I would a thousand-fold.”

Art Bell Died of an Accidental Overdose

Longtime Pahrump radio personality Art Bell died of an accidental overdose from a cocktail of prescription drugs, the Clark County coroner’s office said Wednesday.

Bell died April 13 in a bedroom of his Pahrump home at age 72. The coroner’s office determined he had four prescription medications in his system: the opioid oxycodone, the analgesic hydrocodone, diazepam, often marketed as Valium, and carisoprodol, a muscle-relaxant. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hypertension contributed to his death, the coroner’s office said.

The drugs that killed Bell were lawfully prescribed to him, the Nye County Sheriff’s Office said in a video posted to Facebook.

Bell was known as the late-night host, engineer and producer of the show “Coast to Coast AM.” He specialized in talking about all things weird, including UFOs, alien abductions and crop circles, on his nationally syndicated show to as many as 15 million people nightly. Military Choppers Buzz Pittsburgh For Days

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — When helicopters buzzed PNC Park Tuesday night, Chuck Davidson of Chicago was by the left field foul pole.

“We thought it was Vietnam or MASH or something. That’s what it sounded like to me,” Davidson told KDKA political editor Jon Delano. He was hardly alone.

“There was a bunch of them,” said Al Caldwell of Columbus.

Delano: “Where did you hear them?”

Several people spending the day at Kennywood were shaken up Wednesday afternoon when the park’s popular Pirate ship ride malfunctioned and crews were unable to stop it for about 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported, but several of the riders became nauseous.

The giant ship swings back and forth like a pendulum, but officials say the malfunction caused the brakes to fail.

Kennywood has now shut down the Pirate ship’s operations, but many riders say they’ll never get on the ride again.

'Those Glaring Red Eyes!'

The following account was sent to me several years ago. I never got in contact with the eyewitness, since they lived in the UK. It may be possible that it was a third-person account, but I can't proof it. Anyway, it was just one of those encounter reports that was sitting in my incoming report file. I just wish I had more background on it:

I am hoping that there are other people who may have experienced the same thing. It involves my brother and this account is pieced together after became involved, and after discussing it with other people who remember it, mainly family members. I have not sugar-coated it or added anything, this is exactly as we remember it.

I grew up in a former coal mining town in the north of England. To give a little more background, this town is located between the cities of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Durham. This area has had its share of UFO activity. This story goes back to when I was 9-years-old, back in 1997. At that time, I used to help my mother babysit my newborn cousin who lived in the same street. On this particular occasion, a Saturday night, my brother had decided to come too. He was 8-years-old at the time.

It was a normal evening, nothing out of the ordinary. My mother put the baby to bed around 8 PM and we started watching a movie. My father called to tell me that my mother had forgotten something in the house and asked me to go to pick it up. I left and then decided to stay with my father for an hour before going back. Then, the phone rang. I answered it as I was closest and it was my mother who was concerned about my brother who was freaking out.

I passed the phone to my dad and he said we would come get him. As we arrived, we found my brother on the couch, all white and crying with fear. My dad asked him what had happened, but he could only speak gibberish. However, he was able to say “I never want to stay in this house again. I want to go home”. My brother and I shared a room, and I still remember him crying all night. Needless to say, it was a sleepless night for the whole family. My brother never talked about what happened and true to his word, he never slept at my aunt’s house again.

Several years later, when my brother was about 16, he decided to open up about what had happened that night. We were alone in the house while my parents were on holiday. I asked him, just as I remember it, and he paused the computer game he was playing, stared at the pause screen and said:

“Mom sent me to check on our cousin (the baby), so I went upstairs. I didn’t turn the light on as the living room light was enough and I went into the baby’s room. Everything seemed normal at first. Then, I felt it. A strange presence, as if something was behind me. It wasn’t a feeling that something was there, but rather, an unknown certainty. A heavy breathing sound started and at first I thought it was the baby snoring, but it was too heavy; sort of like Darth Vader but more aggressive. I turned to the door slowly and saw a figure. It was dark but I could tell that its skin was green on its right side. What scared me most were its glaring red eyes that just stared at me. I hid behind the door thinking that I was going to die. It just stood there, staring at me through the crack in the door, its head turning to keep track of me with its red eyes. Those red eyes just staring at me. It seemed to stay there for about 20 minutes and I didn’t move as I thought it would hurt me. Then, it just disappeared. I think it may have opened the window and jumped out. I only realized it had gone when the heavy breathing stopped and the feeling of terror disappeared.”

Although my brother had claimed it felt like the incident lasted 20 minutes, he had literally been gone for one or two minutes.

I have to admit, his story was unsettling and I imagine that people would think its all made up. It’s quite a lot for a 9-year-old to remember. But he claims as he got older, he was able to describe it better, as this night has always been on his mind. My aunt was never told this story, but one day I asked her if she had ever seen or heard anything strange in her house, to which she replied, “Once when your brother was a toddler, he fell down the stairs. When we asked him if he was OK, he replied that the man with the red eyes had done it”. Although he was very young, he remembers it clearly to this day. He recalls looking back up the stairs, to see a figure standing there, just staring at him with those glowing red eyes. So, it seems it wasn’t the first time he had encountered this being.

My brother also claims to have had dreams about this ever since the babysitting incident occurred. One dream in particular was that he was playing with our Labrador in my mother’s home office in the evening. Then, out of the corner of his eye he noticed a figure walk past the door in the dark. The dog went crazy, snarling and barking; with all of his hairs standing on end, like a dog does it when it tries to make itself look bigger when under threat. But looking out into the darkness to see what the dog was barking at, there they were. Those staring red eyes.

For years, we have tried to make sense of it, doing a lot of internet research, writing on forums and so on, but have never came to any conclusions to what it was. I understand it is a lot to read, but maybe someone, after all these years, can shed some light on the whole thing? SB

NOTE: I believe I forwarded the account to another researcher the UK, but I don't recall receiving an update. Too bad the description wasn't more precise. Was it a non-terrestrial or possibly a manifested entity? I also wonder if this person still has bizarre encounters and/or dreams. Lon
