Upright 'Tentacled' Being Encounter

Spokane, WA - 4/16/2012 - 04:00: I was returning home about 4 am when just off to the left of my driveway something stood up in the field and looked at me. When it saw me stop, get out and look in its direction it than ran or squirmed across the street into the trees. At first I thought a deer, but it was upright and running in a weird way...like an octopus. I think I saw it dragging one tentacle. It then went from tree to tree like it was circling me, so I walked very quickly to the house making sure not to take my eyes off of it. When it was going from tree to tree it would stop at that tree and peek at me from one side or the other than move to the next tree and do the same thing at each tree. So when I went in the house I grabbed a flash light to see if it was a person. Mind you I live in the country so I don’t really think someone was sleeping in my field and dragged there sleeping bag across the street. another thing that helps me know it was not human, when I shined my flash light on it its eye shined green not red like a humans would. After I saw the eye color I went back in the house waiting for it to try to get in or peek in my windows so I laid on my couch looking, waiting and listening. Nothing happened, so I just tried to go to sleep and get over it. By this time I was in denial and thought ok it was a deer.

The next morning I thought about what I saw and walked out to the field where I saw it. There was nothing but I remembered what it looked like and it was up right a light shade of blue which could have been from the moon light. It was really skinny and tall with a tear drop shaped head that kind of just formed in to the body no shoulders and long arms that looked like tentacles. But that’s all I remember and know I can say it was flat out the most scariest moment I have ever been through. I have seen ghosts and UFOs but nothing like that. It still scares me just thinking about it and its been almost a month.

Just a week or two before my event there was reports of strange lights over one of my city’s neighborhoods that was on the news the next day or day after. I didn’t think twice about this because I was in denial about what I saw until like two weeks after it all happened. I started realizing that it could be possible that I actually saw an alien putting the two events together. - NUFORC

Abducted During Meditation

Arvada, CO - 2018-05-01 - 20:00: Really one night I cannot remember. When I was doing a normal meditation then when I came out of heard a UFO or a jet sound. Then later on I saw that my arm had these dot-like puncture marks in a sort of acute triangle but these marks never heal for weeks, now still the same markings. Did not see the UFO but heard it. Maybe they like just teleported me out the room, did something then I came back like nothing happened. I also have some automatic writing from these aliens. Maybe I was never able to do it before but now I can do them all the time. I have like 300 doodles or these abstract drawings. Maybe they gave to me as a gift. I don't know. Really is a mystery. I have no idea where it all comes from. It may just be from myself, but I never had these abilities till now. I say these are all approximate dates because basically I sort of forgot when it happened or was kind of scared to remember or pushed it out of my mind so that is why I have only some proof as it were. But also when I meditate I can make the phone overheat somehow with my energy. - MUFON

Iowa Farmer Reports Panther Problem

A black cougar (also known as a panther) has killed several pigs and damaged a cow and two dogs according to a rural Prairie du Chien man who says he saw the large cat about two weeks ago on his farm.

“I heard him thrashing for about one and half hours with one of my beef cows behind some trees,” said Larry Stluka, who lives about four miles north of Prairie du Chien along Highway 27. Stluka said he got outside at about 5:30 a.m. and went toward the ruckus. He then saw the cougar for 15 to 20 seconds before it got wind of him and disappeared.

“He had glossy black fur and pointy ears,” said Stluka. “He was low to the ground and long.”

Stluka said he was about 100 yards away when he saw the wild cat who had the cow and her 150-pound calf pinned up against a bluff.

“Before I got there, he had the cow by the throat,” said Stluka. “The cow had marks on her throat the size of your fist, as if you took a knife. The hair was gone on her neck down to the brisket. Bizarre Sounds in the Poconos

I recently received the following account:

Hello, I live in Towamensing Trails subdivision (near Albrightsville), Penn Forest Township, PA in the Poconos. I sleep lightly and usually take Dyphenhydramine to sleep, but didn't tonight. I was dozing just now in my room on the 1st floor with the window open when some sense of alarm woke me up. My brain telling me, that sound outside isn't normal! I've laid here a few minutes trying to think of an accurate way to describe the sound.

It sounded like someone or something with drum cymbals (but tied almost together or secured so they never reach the high reverberations part of the sound they make. Just the initial sound of two or more of them banging together) attached to them, and a loud breathing sound that I can only associate with a horse. I am inclined to say walking since that is the means of moving that I'm used to attributing to someone moving around. But as the sound moved, it was erratic and spaced too far apart to be a human walking, yet it had a distinct walking rhythm to it. However, I heard no leaves crunching since it is in the woods. It seemed at first to be on the street which would explain no leaf sounds but it seemed to double back and then go behind my house, past my garage and to left of my room, which is the woods.

The weirdest part is although it had a walking-like feel to the sound it made when moving, it didn't sound like it had 2 legs. It was like walking or whatever it was doing, crossing very large areas at a time I would say that a person could cross in 5 or 6 steps, but I never heard the 2nd leg come down. It was always just one step and them the next step was quite further on.

There was no scent that I noticed. I went to wake my husband when I heard it double back and I was standing by him saying 'honey...hey babe' when it went to the side of the house and I heard it disappear back into the woods. So I just let him sleep since the sound was gone and nothing to corroborate now. But I know it really happened and wasn't a dream because I stayed awake until his alarm went off at 5.30am and he strangely decided to call out of work. It's strange because he doesn't even take his allotted vacation days. He goes to work no matter what. Then we both went back to sleep and just now got up. I was alarmed and queasy feeling while I lay awake alone but felt better knowing he was staying.

I don't begin to know what to make of it. SH

NOTE: This is quite an unusual scenario of movement and sound. I will attest that the Poconos area has had an uptick of Bigfoot reports over the past few years. The specific subdivision is surrounded by State Game Lands and heavily forested. I will note that there is a fairly benign legend of a 'phantom white stallion' in the Poconos. As for the basis of the story, I have no information. Several of the old abandoned lodge and resort areas are also said to be haunted. Lon

“Here's a good one that I was not the only witness to! My husband and I were attending a motorcycle rally. Neither of us were under the influence of anything. I had to use the restroom, so I found where the porta-potties were. I started to get in line, when a tall lady in khaki shorts, a tank top, hiker boots and with brown hair in a ponytail sort of cut me off in long strides and walked straight into the porta-potty I was headed for. The door slammed. I thought, oh well, I'll wait. So, I stood just a few feet away anxiously waiting for the door to move because I had to go! The minutes ticked by. It was taking her an awfully long time. I continued to wait for a while, and then it just seemed ridiculous. I noticed that she had not turned the knob to latch the door.

I went up to the porta-potty and knocked, calling out "hello, are you in there, ma'am?" No answer. I stuck my finger in the crack of the door and pulled it open a tiny bit to see if she had passed out in there or something. My husband saw what I was doing, and he asked if she was in there. I was so shocked! I pulled the door wide open so he could see, and announced, "there's no one in there." Neither one of us could figure out where she had gone! The porta-potty didn't have a back door. I was watching for any movement or sound so I could get my turn in there. It made no sense. She was too tall to have stepped out unnoticed and slipped away. I think it was a time slip. Perhaps in some past year, there had been a doorway there to something else, like maybe a booth that served food. For whatever reason, she walked through my time to get to wherever she was going?!” - notsoseriousmoonlight

Large 'Manta Ray' Shaped Object Observed

I received the following account after talking to the witness by telephone:

It was about 2:30-3:00 AM last night (7/10/2018), and we were on this road in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. The road is called 52nd street, we were just outside of the airport and in the countryside. I looked to my left and I see about 100 feet out. It was was the front of this large Manta Ray shaped object frozen in midair on a 45 degree slant. The front of the object was white and had this ring surrounding the top of the craft. It had this green light circling through it and as we were driving. We saw the back side and it had these huge white lights and they were in a pyramid shape, very symmetrical looking. As we continued driving, it did not move from the spot that I spotted it at. I didn’t really believe in UFO’s and other extraterrestrial things but this thing was clear as day and one of the most technologically advanced craft I have ever seen in my life. It was the most shocking this I’ve ever seen on this planet. SD

What Happens if Nessie is Captured?

A Scottish government-funded body has a plan in place if the Loch Ness Monster should ever be found.

Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) prepared the "partly serious, partly fun" code of practice in 2001 amid a period of intense interest in Nessie.

This year's interest has been piqued by scientists gathering DNA from the loch, and Scotland's first minister saying she believes there is a monster.

SNH said it would "dust off" the plan if Nessie was discovered.

The code of practice was drawn up to offer protection to new species found in the loch, including a monster.

Unexplained Anomalous Light Encounters Increasing

I recently received the following account:

Hey Lon,

Here's something I witnessed last summer:

One hot night in Morristown, NJ during the summer of 2017 (I believe sometime in July) I was sitting on my deck reading. It was dusk, with the sun having dipped below the horizon, but still not very dark. Behind my deck and backyard there is a wooded patch which extends along the back of the houses on my side of the street then opens up into a larger tract of woods.

Being very serene and peaceful back there, I often glance up into the woods and just take in nature. That night was no different as I looked up to view the darkening green leaves as the day slowly dissolved into night. But this time there was something else. I was sitting at an angle so my line of sight was toward my neighbors' property and the treeline there. That's where I saw a strange light formation seemingly float out from the woods. At first I though it was the last rays of sunlight drifting through the foliage before the sun's reach was extinguished for the night. However, this thought was dispelled when I realized that whatever it was was clearly a separate object having nothing to do with the evening sun.

The best I can describe it is that it looked like the screen of a window, comprised of squares in neat rows, or like the design on a typical waffle. It was about eight feet tall and six feet wide. It appeared to have some thickness but not much, perhaps a few inches. It wasn't a perfect rectangle but had uneven sides, like if someone used a knife to cut out a patch of screen from a window leaving jagged edges all the way around. As for the color, it was a golden-cream which shimmered slightly. I perceived it as having some kind of electric charge as it seemed to emit a light of its own and the bars that comprised it appeared to be "static-like" with no stark definition. The edges of these bars almost reminded me of the edges of a lightsaber but a bit more fuzzy if that makes sense. The bars themselves had the visual of the old static "snow" on TV, but instead of black and white it was gold, cream, and brown, and I could swear I saw specks of blue in there too.

After it emerged from the trees it drifted to my right, toward my backyard. When it got to about the property line it stopped, hovered for a couple of seconds, then, like it threw itself into reverse, slowly melted back into the trees. When this happened it was no more than 30 feet from me. As it backed up I saw leaves come through the open squares in the object like branches might poke through a trellis. The entire time there was no noise. I ran down the stairs of my deck and across my yard to the treeline and spot where it re-entered the woods. Peering in I saw nothing. I have no idea what I saw that night. - Keith in NJ

NOTE: The increasing number of strange light anomalies, particularly in residential areas, is intriguing and a bit confusing. The shapes, colors and brightness intensities described by witnesses is so varied. Are these signals or communications from some unknown conscious entities? Stilwell, OK - 2018-07-11 - 03:00: At 10:30pm I heard loud noise in living room. Then my 2 yr old starts pointing at something that I can't see and talking to it for several minutes...then waves goodbye and says 'bye-bye.' I find it odd so I put her in my bed for the night. Then I begin to see flashing lights outside my bedroom window and my dog becomes extremely aggressive. At 3:03am I hear a noise and my son is up. He comes and tells me that his TV went dim and he looked over the covers to see if his brother was restarting the movie, only to see an alien in his room watching him. He claimed he's seen one looking at him from the kitchen window before and that he's traveled to space in a "dream". Tonight was different because 2 of my children had weird experiences. - MUFON

Bizarre Lights in Hawaii

“I have several stories. In Hawaii 1998 my father and I witnessed an object with red lights travel above the water. It went left to right a few times and flew up into the sky. My father told me to not tell my mother. Second time was 2011 driving home from work at around 11pm. I live in the boonies in Hawaii. There's a big hill I hate because I had a small 4 cylinder pickup truck. She always struggled up that hill. I look up and I noticed a white light with a long tail flying upwards. I came to a stop and watched it for a few seconds and it vanished. The third time in 2012 I packed seven coworkers into my small pickup, three in the front and four in the back bed. I drove down to 4 corners. It's a spot that had just been covered by the lava flow in Kapoho. It's 2:00-ish in the morning. We're drinking and having a good time. We see a bright flash of light. It's pitch black and then all of a sudden we can see everything around us. We all looked at each other and said let's get the f**k out of here. I wasn't gonna stay to find out what made that bright flash.” - Bongy Kala

Tall Being in Green Body Suit

Annapolis Royal, NS, Canada - 2014-04-16 - 23:00: I was outside taking my dog for a walking since he wouldn't stop barking. Buster, the dog, started going towards the backyard which lead into the woods, beyond the fields. I had a flashlight, Phoenix light PD35 800 lumens, and lit the spot up where the dog was barking. To my surprise there was someone standing there trying to hide behind a few thin trees. It was wearing a green full body suit that didn't look like it had creases or wrinkles, was 7 feet tall, and really skinny. The head was kidney bean shaped and dark brown, with 2 huge bug-looking eyes (for some reason I knew it was a helmet and it wasn't there to hurt anything, just curious). I said 'hey how you doing?' It took one look and ran into the woods. I'd been having issues with prowlers, so I waited outside on my driveway to see if it came back.

About 5 minutes later, I heard a sound like a muffled vacuum cleaner coming from where the entity ran to, and soon a blue Christmas light led blue in color was moving slowly from north to south along he trail in the woods behind my home. I expected a 4 wheeler with someone playing a joke for some dangerous reason. What I saw, was a blue glowing disc with inset panels, about 20 feet wide and 6 to 8 feet in height. It flew from north to south, than as it went overhead it turned east and zoomed off. The interesting part was I seen the open engine bay. Imagine a porcelain cup, white, upside down. Coming from the center was a dome light on a pole, like a Walmart security camera dome, but it was glowing dark red with black streaks and I saw the red moving around inside the dome like it was a liquid. Beside the dome, also coming from the base of the inverted cup, were 2 black Bakelite 4x4 pillars, one was beside the dome and the other close to the cup's rim. The black bars were moving up and down and around the red dome as if hey controlled direction and speed. On top of the UFO was another red dome a bit smaller than he one underneath.It flew over me than zipped of.

My dog was staring at it silence. I ran inside yelling to my wife, grabbed the keys and tried to follow but it was gone. - MUFON

Bleeding Trees

I received the following account from an acquaintance of the eyewitness. I was told that it occurred in 1999, but that's about all that is known about this story:

I remember it all with an odd clarity, each day and new event that centered around those few months. I was only 12 years old during the 3 or so months that this happened, and while most things of my childhood are somewhat obscured by time or poorly remembered, every step of the way through these events are as if they happened yesterday.

My small town in Pennsylvania is tight knit. It's surrounded almost entirely by miles of sprawling woods, and is miles away from any decently sized or connected city. Anything you would want was there, food, drink, lumber, schooling, a hospital, everything. Technology, like phones and computers were simply imported from other places. It was an upper scale area, so everyone was at least somewhat above the middle class.

I think it was in July that the small local lumber company, that went miles out into the woods to cut down trees in a large lot, stopped their operations for the first time in ages. It was an incredibly normal and accepted thing to happen in the area, to hear the distant buzzing and cutting of the the lot at around 5:00PM every day. And while they did run out of wood to cut in the lot, they either imported more wood or cut it from different areas. They saved time and money by keeping all the equipment there, and cutting wood in the same spot.

But on that day, it didn't come. Instead, the locally known lumbermen came together in droves into the town square, much to the curiosity of the locals. They stammered into the company's headquarters, barely talking, white as ghosts.

We found out the next day, from the announcement of neighbors, that lumber operations were to be stopped. No one was allowed to cut or damage trees at any point, under punishment of extremely heavy fines or prison time.

The whole town was immediately bathed in hushed curiosity. While everyone was afraid to break the new rule, it was definitely uncommon for the town's government to impose such harsh rules. We were quiet and lacked any major crime, so it was not strange for town police to be extremely lenient.

I remember about a week later, it was found out what was happening to the trees. A group of people gathered in the square, calling out for answers about the trees. The mayor stayed in his office, in seclusion, refusing to answer. So to retaliate, the fed up group led them and a group of onlookers to the forest line.

Police came too, but decided not to punish anyone. They were people too, and had no idea what was happening either, kept in the dark by the mayor. In fact, according to the present police chief, the mayor had not been seen in days. The crowd, now riled up by these announcements, were ready to figure out why.

The leader of the group, a man named Martin, was a local government member who had also been left in the dark by the mayor had an axe with him. As the crowd looked in on hushed silence, he drove the axe into the wood again and again. I remember the reaction of the crowd, the universal gasping and murmuring. Dropping his axe in disbelief, as on the third strike, crimson blood began draining from the tree's wound.

The axe's head was red with blood, dripping onto the leaves that it sat upon. The blood didn't stop coming, draining gallons of the red liquid into the dirt that surrounded the tree. What blood didn't sink into the ground and become absorbed into the dirt coagulated as a crust that coated the earth.

Martin was confused as the crowd, slowly backing away from the gash. The crowd cleared over the next hour, while me and a friend remained to look around. We were led away one by one by our parents, taken home. Soon, the only remaining blood was on the ground, and the tree was empty.

The next day, another crowd had gathered in the square. The wives and children of all the lumber crew, along with Martin's wife, were sitting on a row of benches, either crying or staring off into space. People questioned them, and only a few minutes later is was discovered that every single one of the mining crew and Martin had disappeared over night. Some had gone on drives, some had gone to sleep next to their wives, and some had left glasses of milk and ibuprofen on the counter along with their kicked off slippers.

I was admittedly scared, as were the other kids. School was closed, as almost 30 different children in my school of only a few hundred had just lost parents. Some of my friends were among the people who had lost fathers, including my neighbor. I remember my mother baking a cake and a pie for his mother, and not seeing him for longer than a week.

An investigation of the lumber yard by the local police yielded nothing, except for the fact that a large flatbed truck was missing. The flatbed truck was an industrial machine, weighing tens of tons, used to hold large amounts of logs under large slings of metal that stood above the bed of it. This was met with skepticism of everyone, as the truck would have to be driven out of the lot, and be driven through the town square into the company's equipment yard, and no one had seen or heard it.

Nobody dared to touch or harm a tree, only a few local children had the guts to dare each other to throw rocks at the trees. The town had an eerie mist of uneasiness hanging over almost everything, the town square deserted, houses packed full of their residents and locked, even in the warm fall weather.

Nothing happened for a few weeks. The mayor still did nothing, not appearing in public, making no rules, nothing. The public suspected that he had disappeared along with Martin and the lumber crew, but it was unconfirmed. Tensions boiled over among the town folk, leading to a militia of police and residents breaking into the mayor's home, only to find it empty.

The police had, however, found a journal among his possessions, the final entry detailing the day of the lumber crew's return from the lot. He wrote of not believing that any cut trees were bleeding, and to test it out himself, took his rifle and shot at a smaller tree, breaking a hole in it, causing it to splash blood onto him from the impact. He said he was hiding out until he got his clothes dry cleaned, and was going to make a speech to the locals.

After the police told everyone this, the town went into a panic. People started discussing leaving town. A particularly religious family, the Koenigs, packed what they could into their station wagon, departing out through the main road.

It wasn't until 3 days later that the first event that would plunge the town into full on fear happened. At 2 in the morning, a loud, metal scraping and smashing noise emanated over the town square. People from all over town rushed to see what it was, as it sounded like a bomb going off.

I watched in amazement, with my family and the townsfolk, as the large flatbed truck hung suspended from a large, bare tree in the exact center of the square. The tree was usually covered in pines, and decorated around Christmas, but it looked oddly dead and barren.

People started screaming as their eyes adjusted to the scene. Dozens of figures hung out of the bed of the truck, suspended by their necks with what looked like metal wire. The metal spikes that usually held in the lumber were gnarled and bent, seemingly crushed. People started to notice what looked like 2 moving figures in the front of the truck, too obscured by the tint to identify. The knobs of the doors jiggled for only a minute or two, before white fire burnt through the windows, breaking them.

The entire city broke into frenzied shouting as the truck burst into flames, all the windows bursting out, raining glass onto onlookers. The truck burnt like kindling, despite being mostly made of metal. The hanging bodies lit one by one, gently swinging in the wind as the fire scorched their bodies, licked up in the blaze until nothing remained but the hanging wire.

The women who were married to the lumber workers collapsed or stood deadpan, in total disbelief. I didn't know what to think, I was only terrified by the massive hulking machine somehow being supported by this rotten tree.

Soon the tree lit, the smell of burning blood and flesh immediately meeting our noses. People pulled their shirts up or held them as the commotion deepened, people screaming or in total disbelief of what they were seeing. Blood started to drip out of the tree bark all along its shaft, crackling and festering out from it.

Soon, the tree cracked, and collapsed, gushing blood from the major breaks. The crowd dispersed and shouted louder as the tree broke almost in half, the truck breaking into a free fall. It slammed into the square, destroying most benches and pavement around it. The sound deafened me for a moment, falling down as the rioting mob of people almost trampled me. I stood up, my ears ringing, as the flaming truck slowly lost the blaze that enveloped it.

The bodies were gone, and only a few bones remained in the cabin of the truck. The smell of soot and burning blood hung in the air for the next few weeks. The town grieved, and families started to consider leaving. Soon, the families that were going to leave, stopped.

This entire event was extremely traumatic for me, and I need to recoup all of my memories and make sure they're clear before I do part two. I'll write it soon. Thank you for reading.

NOTE: Apparently, the 2nd part was never written or just never received. It sounds like a fictional tale written in a student's creative writing class. I'm sure an event of this magnitude would have gotten out to the public...but you never know. Anyway, I thought some of you would enjoy it. Lon

I recently received the following account:

I live in northern Wisconsin and it was winter. I was helping my friend shovel snow and as the night grew darker we heard strange howling and screams so we ignored it and kept working. As the night progressed, I look over and saw a black figure walk out of the woods, then it ran back in the woods. I told my friend that we need to get in the house now, so we ran in and locked all the doors. Then I heard scratching on the wall. I looked out the window to see a wolf head on a bear/man's body. It looked directly at me with yellow/greenish eyes. I screamed and ran into my bedroom. The next day I went outside and saw 'hello' scratched on the outside wall of the house. The beast was at least 7 feet tall and possibly 600 pounds. Very muscular and slim at the waist. I couldn’t sleep at night for months and I never go into the woods at night. FD

Tri-Germeric Recycling?

Blanchard, OK - 12/20/2008: Waken from sleep around 3am, I saw three human-like silhouettes at the foot of my bed. Frozen in fear, I watched as the first two walked towards the wall and then passed through it. Even though I was terrified I forced myself to sit up and ask, "how did they do that?" The third being turned towards me and said, "It's easy. We use tri-germeric recycling by changing the harmonics of cellular structure in order to pass through solid objects." Then he turned and walked through the wall. I lay back down. But before I fell asleep, I sat up again and wrote down, 'tri-germeric recycling: changing the harmonics of cellular structure in order to pass through solid objects.' When I woke in the morning I had no memory of the encounter until I saw the note. Then it all came back to me. I have done some research and can't find any definition for "germeric", with any spelling. - MUFON

NOTE: I have heard from other experiencers that they are told by these unknown beings that 'matching the vibration of their cellular structure with solid matter will result in the ability to pass through.' I suppose it's the same or a similar process. Lon

1300 lbs Crocodile Captured After Decade-Long Hunt

Crocs in the Northern Territory aren’t rare — but they are at this size.

After a decade-long hunt, rangers in the Northern Territory have finally captured Katherine River’s biggest croc — weighing in at a whopping 600 kilograms and measuring 4.71 metres long, about the length of an average family car.

The hunt began after rumours of a “large dark tail” spotted near a local boat ramp, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

NT Parks and Wildlife rangers Chris Heydon and John Burke said it was very unusual to capture a croc this big in the Katherine River system.

“We average a 4.2 metre croc most years, but never this big,” Mr Burke said.

Huge Bright UFO Hovered Over Horses

Aaron in Washington called in to tell of his amazing UFO encounter:

“I’m just gonna get right into it. I never thought I'd share this story. This happened about 25 years ago when I was 18 in 1993. I've lived here in Washington, in the Clark County area my whole life except for time I lived in Utah for three years. My father had been a teacher and in the summer time we would haul horses at night. And in a little town, Orchards, up in Vancouver. We had about ten acres up there and we were buddied up to another 20 acres on one side and another 20 acres on the other. So there was about 50 acres around our farm and we had about 22 horses out there at the time.

Well, we were hauling horses in the middle of the night in the summer time and we were coming home from Ephrata. And we started getting toward our area...and again, this was a tiny town, Orchards, at this time. Narrow two lane road and we saw this huge glow. At first my father thought our house was on fire and he started freaking out. My mom was freaking out. And there were two others in the car, myself and a friend of mine. And as we got closer we thought the field was on fire. My dad started screaming that the field was on fire. This was like half a mile away. This is the whole area and we thought, one of our houses is on fire. As we got closer, we pulled into our driveway and our farm goes about two hundred yards, the driveway, it was a long driveway, and in the back we had 22 horses underneath this huge light... and all I can tell you, it was like this huge heat-lamp spotlight. My mom started freaking out. My dad was honking the horn.

If you know anything about horses, horses just don't sit there and do nothing – all 22 of our horses were standing underneath this light as still as can be. We hadn't cut the field yet so the grass was a foot high. There was no movement in the grass. My dad started just hauling ass down the gravel driveway to get to the horses. He was honking his horn and the horses would not move. We got out, we jumped out, and next thing we know – and I mean, this thing was huge. It took up the entire field. The entire ten acres. It was enormous! It was over our house. It was over the field but the light was coming down on our horses. All of a sudden this thing just... This is the best way I can describe it, it goes up about 150 yards and it starts going at a 45 degree angle, and it stops. It stops a little ways up there. The Air Force were flying a lot of F-16s still – there were fighter jets all over our house, like low flying... low enough to shake our barn. And this thing, it was still so bright, it was lighting up the entire farm community at 3 o'clock in the morning. Next thing we know, this thing just went, you know, 45 degree, right past a plane and... gone! I turned to my dad. My dad looked at me and he goes, 'We won't ever talk about this again.'

Now that I'm in my 40s. I'm not afraid of my dad anymore and I don't care what people think. It's something that my dad said, 'We're not gonna talk about it,' you know what I mean? 'People will think you're crazy.' (Lewis asks about the horses) So we went and checked them and that's the first thing we did. After this thing took off, we went out to check our herd. We pulled the horses in and their eyes were huge and dilated. You know how when an animal stares into a light and their eyes will dilate really bad? So, all of our horses were like that. And horses, when they stand still when they're terrified, their muscles will vibrate and shake really bad and that's all they did. They didn't run. They just stood out there and their muscles were shaking. We had to go out there. We had to calm them down and give them grain. It took a good half hour to get them to stop shaking and then they just started moving around like normal. We thought... We didn't know what the heck had happened out there and to this day I still can't believe it.

I'm a teacher. I'm the most practical guy in the world and I still can't believe what I saw to this day. Again, my dad told me, 'We don't talk about this. We don't say anything about it.' Like I said, there were fighter jets and helicopters all over our farmland down in Orchards for a good hour and a half, just doing fly-bys over and over and over all night. You never think Orchards. When I looked at the light it was almost like looking at a flash burn of a welder. You couldn't look at it. It hurt. And so I was shielding my eyes, kinda looking down at the horses and the grass. Now if they had any kind of a thruster or an engine, I mean the grass would have been moving and when this thing went into the air, the grass was as still as could be, I mean aside from a light breeze. And this thing was huge! I'm talking at least a couple hundred yards across, spanning our entire and our neighbor's acres. I honestly have no idea what that was or what happened that night.”

The following is a recent post on Reddit:

I work as a broadcast engineer and a few years ago I received a phone call around 9:30-10:00ish pm from the on duty ENG that our OTA (over the air) signal had gone out and we were off the air on our OTA platform. The call was with several other ENG as well as my boss at the time. We figured out that the problem was at our transmitter and needed to be corrected manually. My boss asked for someone to volunteer to go with him and after a few seconds of awkward silence I offered.

So our RF transmitter site was located on top of Mt. Beacon in Beacon, NY which was about an hour plus from our station. At the time, I had never been up there so going in the middle of the night was a little spooky. I met my boss and we drove together, got the the mountain a little before midnight. The road up the mountain to the transmitter site is a long, narrow, windy and steep dirt road with a lot of big loose rocks so the drive up and down is scary enough. I can't emphasize enough how dark this drive was. Like pitch black. A few times while going up we would see headlights coming towards us of people out with their off road jeeps which wouldn't be as weird if it weren't the middle of the night. We also saw two different camp fires deep in the woods which I just assumed were groups of locals hanging out drinking. My boss told me that locals hung out near the transmitter site sometimes and should be avoided as they had a tendency to be sketchy. Didn't seem too sketchy to me but what did I know, it was my first time there. My boss also told me that he never travels to that mountain without a gun. He said its more than the locals, "I've seen stuff out here I cant really explain".

We get to the top, do our work on our transmitter, close everything up and start to head back down. As we were heading down, we were at a particularly steep part of the road when you pretty much have to ride your brake because the car won't stop till the incline levels out a little. All of a sudden, 3 deer sprint out in front of us not even looking at our oncoming car causing us to swerve since we were already riding the break. The front of the car hit a rock which stopped our momentum. My boss instantly turned the car off and once the sound of the engine died we heard something BIG run the opposite direction away from the road up the natural slope of the hill. I shined my flashlight in the direction but whatever it was, was already out of sight. We could still see branches moving and leafs settling from being disturbed by whatever ran away. I asked my boss if he thought that was another deer or possibly a bear and he replied "bears run on all fours, whatever that was ran on 2 legs. And bears don't hunt deer, something was chasing them". When we first heard the footsteps, I would estimate they were as close as 10-15 feet from the car when it started to run away but appeared to be standing over us as there was a natural incline up the mountain.

There are a lot of logical explanations like that my boss was just trying to scare me or that it was a local walking/running through the woods but here are a few things to consider: Yes, it could've been a person walking alone through the woods but why chase the deer? And why run away from the car? Also, whatever ran away was out of sight QUICKLY. Like within 3-4 seconds of starting to run UP the hill. This person would have to be in the greatest shape ever to run that quickly up this hill. This also sounded way too big to be a bobcat, mountain lion or coyote. My boss is not the kind of guy that would try to scare people, he's a very stern all business type of guy. He seemed pretty rattled by this and wanted to get off the mountain ASAP.

I ended up going back up that mountain many more times before leaving for a new job and I never saw or heard anything like that night, however, I never went back after sunset. I no longer work for this company and this company no longer owns the transmitter site so I will likely never have a reason to go back. I don't know of any reported sightings or experiences in the area but I do know that over the years there have been many car accidents on that road. I assume all the accidents are due to the poor condition of it but honestly I have no idea. Sgt_Soggybottoms

The El Yunque Alien Body

Rio Grande (Puerto Rico), PR - 4/5/1995: I was told of an incident that occurred on an area known as "EL YUNQUE" (Carribean National Forest} in the eastern part of the Island of Puerto Rico. I was told that several Park Rangers at the National Forest witnessed the crash of what appeared to be an aircraft. They immediately set off to take a look at the object fearing it was an aircraft that crashed. When they arrive, they found a UFO burning and aliens lying on the ground. (can't tell how many). The Park Rangers pick up the alien body(s) and took then to their station. There, one of the rangers found a camera and took several pictures of the alien while it was lying on a stretcher. (this is how they prove to me the story was real, I saw the picture which I describe below). I saw a picture of a alien body lying on a stretcher in what looks like an infirmary. The body was lying supine on the stretcher. I guess it has to be something like 4 1/2 or 5 foot tall. The skin looked something like grayish with a rose tone. It only had 4 fingers and toes on each extremity. Its upper extremities reached as far down as what looked to be their knees. Its head was huge, having maximum enlargement at the inferior quadrant of his head. It had eyes that looked to be big and round (even do you can only see little thru a horizontal line defining what might looks like eyelids. Its mouth and nose were in proportion to the proper anatomical positions just like on us humans. Apart from that, body showed signs of first and second degree burns mainly to the left side of his body. (remember, the body was lying supine and cannot see the right side.) I was told that the military came and pick up the alien as well as the UFO and took then the Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in the town of Ceiba which is only 10-20 miles from the incident site. As for the Park Rangers, they were sent back to the United States sometime early after the incident took place. - NUFORC

NOTE: I've never seen the photographs from this incident, but in 2002 an individual (who said that they had seen the body) told me that this was a true story. Is it true? Who knows? Lon

Masked 'Machete Man' in WV

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — A picture of a masked man walking around with a machete is causing a buzz on social media and concern for some people in Kanawha County.

While some think it's fake, the man who saw it said he knows what he saw, and even has pictures.

Along a quiet part of Childress Road is where Jeremy Caldwell of South Charleston said he saw a man wearing a mask and twirling a machete.

"It looked like he was out of a movie," Caldwell said.

Caldwell and his brother thought they saw things at first Saturday evening when they drove by a man wearing a hat and jumpsuit with machete in hand. Huge Winged Being Observed in Prince Edward County, Ontario

I was recently made aware of the following incident:

On Friday July 6, 2018, a friend and I were driving out to Pleasant Bay, a small beach area outside of Consecon, Ontario. It was around 8:30 PM and the sun was only just beginning to set on the horizon. We figured we still had a good 90 minutes before it got dark so we got some McDonald's coffee and headed out. The beach is way out in the middle of nowhere, down a lengthy stretch of highway with lots of trees lining both sides of the road and broken up by the occasional farmer's field.

About ten minutes outside of Consecon, while cruising on the Loyalist Parkway, I noticed something in the trees just as we approached a bend in the road. We were moving quite fast, doing about 90, but something caught my eye, a fleeting glimpse of what looked like greyish legs (talons?) making a ruckus in the trees on the left hand side of the road. I didn't get much of a look at it but my friend, who was behind the wheel, certainly did. As we zoomed by, he craned his neck out the window, trying to get a look at whatever it was. He eventually turned back to me, blurting, “Holy sh*t, did you see that bird!?! That was the biggest f-cking bird I've ever seen!!!” In his usual expletive filled way, he indicated that the bird he saw had a “massive” wingspan, was brownish in color, and was as big or bigger than the car slightly ahead of us on the road. When I asked him what it was doing, he told me that it was trying to jump from one branch to another branch, with some difficulty. It was so big that the branches could not bear its weight. I have to wonder if it was looking for roadkill and the passing cars - us and the car ahead of us - maybe spooked it.

My friend is accustomed to seeing Turkey Vultures and other large birds as he often accompanies his father back north on hunting trips but this was bigger than anything he had ever seen before. With regards to why we didn't turn around to get a picture or get a better look, it just honestly didn't occur to us. It was just something odd that we passed on the road and we wanted to get to the beach and have a swim before it got too dark.

It should be noted that my friend has not even a remote interest in the paranormal or cryptozoology as he feels it's all a bunch of foolishness. He is completely oblivious to all the recent giant bird & winged humanoid sightings being reported around the world, so I found it funny that he was the one who saw it. While it was probably nothing, I figured I'd send this along to you as I know you collect these types of winged being reports.

NOTE: The names of the witnesses are being withheld. I found this account to be very interesting since there have been several winged humanoid sightings throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Niagara region of New York over the past 2 years. Lon
