Close Encounter on Military Base
At Camp San Luis Obispo, a military base, on 10/15/2002 at 03:35 I was awoke by a small non-human giving me what seemed like a medical exam. First I felt hard tapping on my legs and as the being approached my face I was fully awakened to one being on my right doing the exam and another at the foot of my bed watching.
As I assessed what was happening I tried to scream but had no voice. At that moment the figure at the base of my bed that was approximately 3 and a half feet tall with a hood and helmet like face cover with no seems or color to his uniform began to fade and become translucent then disappeared.
I believe I was either being returned from an abduction or about to be abducted when I awoke. I gained control of my voice after the being disappeared.
I told my roommate, who shared the dorm room, and he believed me and we walked around my dorm room waving our arms around expecting to hit the being while it was invisible. We never found the being. But my roommate saw a being in the room a different night, but I was not in our dorm for that event.

Alien 'Probing'
Ely, MN - 1978-07-18 22:00: I was camping by myself on Mile Island. I was going to portage around the BWCA by Fall Lake / Newton Lake / Pipestone Falls all the way to Jackfish Bay. I decided to stay the night on Mile Island / Fall Lake due to the portage being sorta hard by yourself and it was approaching night when I got there in my canoe. Once I got to the island and started sleeping I woke up around midnight and heard something coming over. I grabbed my rifle just in case it was a wild bear. I got up and then suddenly I was frozen and couldn't move. I saw some alien figures coming from the shrubs. They started rectal probing me, and I could not stop them when I tried to...they brought me underwater w/o me drowning and let me lay under there while they started doing other stuff on me. I was really scared and I didn't know if I'd ever see my girlfriend and my dog again. But then they stopped and it was all good. - MUFON

Caterpillar From Hell Sends Teen to ER
LAND O’ LAKES (CBS News/CBS Local)- A teen in Land O’Lakes, Florida, experienced what his mom said was “the worst pain he ever felt” after coming in contact with a venomous caterpillar. Fifteen-year-old Logan Pergola was doing volunteer landscaping work with his family on Saturday.
His mom, Andrea Pergola, said Logan was picking up tree branches when his arm brushed up against the caterpillar. It wasn’t the kind of harmless little bug that kids find on playgrounds; it was a southern flannel moth caterpillar, and it was dangerous.
“He instantly felt a sharp, stinging pain and his arm went numb. Within 5 minutes he was dizzy, had lost color, was complaining of the worst pain he had ever felt & his eyes weren’t super focused,” Pergola wrote about her son on Facebook. “We tried to wash it off and I applied some garlic (it pulls venom out usually with bug stings).”

They Were Looking For Something
“I have had between 8 and 21 UFOs around my house since August of 2017. There are two different colored lights: white, blue, red and green. Then the other is orange, red and green. Every other night, we can watch them in the woods about 7feet off the ground with a spot light shining at the ground like they are looking for something. They also are moving but in a weird way. But when they are high in the sky, you can actually see them change shape and when they move you can see a tail like from the back.” - Luna Belle111

The Devil Was Waiting
Cheyenne from Arizona wrote in to tell of her paranormal experience:
“I was 6 years old when I had my first paranormal experience that I could remember. My parents were out for the evening and my older sister, Mary, was 9 at the time and I had a babysitter. We lived in this tiny two-story apartment in this not-so-great neighborhood that only had one bathroom upstairs. I had to use the toilet and, I didn't know why, but I was really scared. I don't remember having a reason at that time to be frightened to go alone. I begged my sister, 'Please, please, come with me!' So I wouldn’t have to go alone. Every time I asked her, she said no. Finally the babysitter yelled at me to go to the bathroom by myself and to quite asking my sister to go with me.
I started ascending the stairs and reached the bathroom door that was right at the top of the stairs. As I stood in the doorway and flipped the light switch, the lights in the bathroom consisted of only fluorescent light-bulbs, you know, the kind that dimly flicker before they fully turn on. As I stood in the doorway with the light-bulbs dimly flickering, straight ahead of me sat what I can only describe as a typical looking demon with horns, sitting straight up on the rim of the bathtub with his hands on his thighs, just staring straight back at me. We sat there, eye-locked as the fluorescent bulbs continued to flicker for what seemed like an eternity but was probably no more than one or two minutes. I remember the dim flickering lasting longer than usual. I was absolutely terrified. Once the bulbs finally turned on, the Devil was gone. In all honesty, I was so terrified, I didn't even know what happened right after that. Not sure if I peed myself or if I held it and ran back down the stairs. I don't know. My mind right after the encounter just went blank. I do however remember telling my dad later that night after he and my mom were home and he told me in a very serious tone that he believed me. I was comforted that he didn't think I was making it up. I don't think that experience came up ever again and I don't remember telling anyone else about it for many years.
After I got back from filming 'Haunted Hospitals in Canada' I was telling my older sister Mary about my experience filming there and that they were using my 6-year-old Devil encounter for the show. I was rehashing it for her and told her I honestly can't remember what happened right after I saw the Devil. She said that she remembers me coming downstairs and telling her what happened and she booked it upstairs to the bathroom to see if she could find out what scared me. She said she was moving the shower curtain around to see if the Devil was hiding in it and obviously never found nothing. I never saw the devil again, thankfully, and I don't really know or understand what the whole experience meant or was for except to maybe scare the living crap out of me.”

Farmer Claims El Chupacabras Attack in Paraguay
An unknown event altered all the inhabitants of a ranch located in the town of Los Cedrales, in the department of Alto Paraná. These cold nights forced the inhabitants of the Manuela ranch to shut themselves up early, but the tranquility broke at around 9:30 pm on the Saturday night, when the guardian of the establishment, a little dog, would not stop barking. The administrator, Francisco Molinas, came out to look at him with his rifle and a flashlight.
He went to investigate the reason for the alarm of his pichicho oho towards the place where the sheep sleep. "I went to look behind the shed and I saw one of the largest sheep lying on the ground. There I found out that there was every wound in the neck. I shined my flashlight to a corner and there I saw the bug with its red eyes, it was brownish in color. In total, the "bug" killed six goats.
The man reacted to the initial scare and said: "I got three shots with my rifle. I shouted to my son and he brought my 9mm pistol has hemmed the animal about 70 meters out there. Just when he stayed, I emptied the magazine of my gun, 16 shots ajapi. Then I lit him with the line, there he turned around and came straight to attack me. I reached my son and my partner, who brought a shotgun ".
The bug did not run so hard and they put him again a volley of shots until he got into a little hill of the ranch. "We looked for him everywhere, too much we wanted to hunt him to show people this monster. I did not believe in this before, but now that I've seen, I know there's a chupacabra." Kangaroos Cause Vehicle Accident...in Montana
DODSON -Two people were injured in Montana Wednesday morning after swerving to avoid a kangaroo on the road.
Trooper Matt Finley with the Montana Highway Patrol said he thought it was a joke when he responded to the call, but when he arrived at about 4 a.m. he saw the kangaroo.
Trooper Finley said he learned there is a kangaroo farm west of Dodson. He said the two people in the vehicle had minor injuries after their vehicle rolled. He said he did not make an attempt to capture the kangaroo and it was too dark to capture dash cam video.
The accident happened on Highway 2.

NASA Announces New Asteroid Defense Plan
NASA has updated its plans to deflect potentially hazardous Earth-bound asteroids — and none of them involve Bruce Willis.
The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy released a new report today (June 20) titled the "National Near-Earth Object Preparedness Strategy and Action Plan." The 18-page document outlines the steps that NASA and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will take over the next 10 years to both prevent dangerous asteroids from striking Earth and prepare the country for the potential consequences of such an event.
Officials with NASA, FEMA and the White House discussed the new asteroid-mitigation strategies in a teleconference with the media today. "An asteroid impact is one of the possible scenarios that we must be prepared for," Leviticus Lewis, chief of FEMA's National Response Coordination Branch, told reporters during the teleconference, adding that a catastrophic asteroid strike is "a low-probability but high-consequence event" for which "some degree of preparedness is necessary." What happened to us?
Hi Lon. An incident took place on the night of April 15, 2013 and it has bothered my family and I since. We live in Portland, OR.
That night, my mother had a very bad respiratory illness. She woke in what she described was like a drug induced stupor. She saw blurry images of what appeared to be people in full surgical dress. One of the 'doctors' called her by name, told her everything would be fine. She recalls a needle being inserted in her arm, and blood was taken. She was unable to speak, and was very confused before she passed out.
The next morning she woke up. She saw a needle mark in her arm and became very upset. My stepfather, who was also in the bed with her, noticed that he also had one, which scared him. My stepfather has a serious phobia of needles. When he sees the doctor, he must be sedated before they can insert any sort of needle into him. He literally throws up and passes out on seeing needles. He often must leave the room when blood is taken from my mother. He remembered nothing, but was feeling very drowsy and confused. They both came in and asked me if I had let paramedics in the night before. I was wary of their question, and told them no.
That night, I had been surfing the internet. Since I was working a graveyard shift at the time, I had only woken up at about 8pm. Yet after 2 hours of being awake, I suddenly was overcome with such drowsiness and exhaustion I crawled back into my bed and slept on. I fell asleep within minutes, which was very strange. I woke up feeling sore all over, which was weird, but no puncture or needle marks on my arms at all. I had no recollection of anything the night before. When they both showed me these strange needle marks, I was intrigued. They told me that they had fallen asleep suddenly, probably around the same time I did, judging by what was on TV when they fell asleep.
What was even more bizarre is that my cats were very spooked the next day. This was very interesting, as my largest cat never gets spooked. Vacuum cleaners, dogs, loud sounds...nothing phases him. Yet I found him hiding under a bunch of boxes, and he hissed at me each time I tried to reach in and get him. The other cats were terrified and hiding all through the house. My stepfather also told me the door was unlocked. I remember him locking the door every night. We lived in a bad neighborhood and always made sure it was locked.
We have been puzzled over it for these past five years, and I've done a lot of research. I cannot seem to find any possible explanations. Although I have always been interested in the UFO phenomenon, it seemed that the alien abduction theory was not a serious question.
However, as I conduct more research, I have become a bit more confused. I have been reluctant to submit a report to any of the agencies. I found your name on Google and decided to write you. What happened to us? I'm really interested in getting to the bottom of this "high strangeness" and am looking for an answer. RJ
NOTE: I've read and have heard a variety of strange incidents from ordinary people. I talked to this experiencer by telephone, and believe that he and his family may have been subjected to some type of experimentation. None of them have had any known side effects since this incident, so it's difficult to give them a explanation. The description is very similar to suspected MILAB abduction scenarios. I can't say that this is the case here, but it may need to be considered. Lon

Huge Red Wolves in Arizona
Last Sunday, the locals in St. David, AZ, about 20 miles from here, put out an alert about a giant wolf killing 3 sheep. It had red hair, was huge. Nothing more was mentioned about it, which made me suspicious.
Today, I met someone who was telling me about the fact that the local wolf population here was exploding. The local town marshal put out an alert on Thursday that mountain lions had killed 13 deer here in town, the past week. We were talking about it. The wolves have become so prevalent that they are either breeding with, or killing off the local coyote population.
Anyway...the punch line is they are keeping the slaughter of sheep, calves, cattle quiet because there is a pack of wolves in/around St. David that are huge. They are massive, larger than Great Danes.
I'm not convinced about Dogman. I think we are dealing with what was once a near-extinct population of wolf. I know there is a population of something almost monstrous in the border mountains of Mexico. I know a guy who saw the footprints. His father helped track it. I think these things are re-establishing themselves due to the deer populations. - Name withheld

Astral Projection?
“My brother and I were staying the night with our cousin. My brother is into martial arts and he was into astral projection and levitating. We actually stay up all night making a "how to astral project and leave your body" book. Well me and my cousin sat there and recorded everything step by step until my brother went into a trance-like state. There had to have been at least 10 pages of notes. My brother described breathing and meditation techniques. At one point he was convulsing and what looked like having seizures, but he was normal. He later came back too and told us how he had left his body and was floating above us and laughing while watching us freak out trying to get him to snap out of it and come back too. He said he was able to come back at anytime of his choosing but that he felt like if he left he could get lost and wouldn't be able to find his way back to his body leaving his physical body paralyzed for ever. My cousin and I were really freaked out and shaken. We actually got in trouble during the session for roughhousing in the bedroom and had to stop before we got in serious trouble. This is where it gets weird.
After my brother came back, we were relieved at the fact that he couldn't feel us shaking his body and slapping his face in attempts to wake him up, but it was very late and we had to go to bed. So we put the notebook up on the shelf in the closet and called it a night. The next morning we got our asses chewed out some more. But when we went to get the notebook and look through it, it was gone! Just vanished. All three of us were in the room no one came in or went out the whole time. Not even kidding.” - jay cerv

“Years ago on two different camp outs I woke up with something 8 feet or taller standing 18 inches away from me. The camping was done 1 or 2 weeks apart on the weekends on a farm in Southwest Ohio. We chased it both times. We were packing heat, if you want to call it that. A pellet rifle and a machine gun BB gun may not seem like much but the BB gun could blind anything very quickly. Curse of the Toad
Ralph wrote to 'Beyond The Darkness' to tell them of his weird encounter:
“It was October, the end of a very warm Indian Summer, a bunch of us kids sat milling around in a field behind a neighbor's house trying to decide what to do on such a boring lackluster day. As I was watching the sky, I noticed a bunch of buzzards which wasn't unusual, but what seemed weird was that they were circling around, attacking another very large bird. The buzzards were relentlessly dive bombing this strange white colored bird, which had to have had a wingspan of about 20 feet. Never have I ever seen such a large bird which never flapped its wings.
Anyway, there was about six of us. We decided to go digging. Everyone scattered, running home to gather shovels, hoes and even a pick axe. This was California in 1964 in the small town of Danville. Population of just 6000 people. To the west of us is Mount Tamalpais, a low level, hilly ridge with a massive oak tree at the very top in the shape of a grizzly which we called the bear tree. Below, in the valley floor, meandered a small creek, Walnut Creek. It was a child's paradise filled with pollywogs, small fish and handmade rafts. Directly to the east lies the most distinctive geological feature of the East Bay called Mount Diablo, a single mount rising nearly a mile high and filled with sandstone caves. It was the source of many legends of Native American inhabitants on mountain performing Pagan rituals.
Well, we all rejoined in the field and commenced digging at an agreed upon spot. Shovels, picks and hoes flailing, dirt flying in all directions and it was a wonder that no one was gouged to death. Then it happened. While I was using the shovel, jumping on the top of the blade, I hit something quite large and soft. The blade sank into this thing and blood started oozing out, covering the soil, forming a wet messy bog. We all jumped out of the hole we were digging in and tried to see what the object was. It was a toad but no ordinary toad. No sir, this toad had to be as large as the blade of my shovel. I was so upset and without saying goodbye, I turned around and headed home. It was that night that the idle life of this boy would take a very sinister turn.
I shared a room with my younger brother. He had the upper bunk and I was on the lower of the wooden bunk. We turned in and I fell into a restless sleep when suddenly, startled, I awoke to see that in the dim light, what I can only describe as a very large hand, with three long fingers, right in my face. I quickly covered my head under the blanket when a swampy, sickly smell of blood assailed my senses. I let out a scream, jumped up and started running. The house we lived in was three bedrooms, very long, with three bedrooms at one end, followed by a long hallway to the living room and kitchen. As I ran out of my room, I could see a light at the end of the hall where the door was located in the living room. I made for the light running as fast as I could but the faster I ran, the walls of the hall began extending forward. After what seemed like an eternity, I finally could not run anymore and as I collapsed I felt this giant hand around my legs start dragging me back to my room. It was very big. I was so terrified, I was paralyzed. Then this thing pushed me under the bed where my last memory was me peering out from the recess of the floor under the bed to see two large red slits looking back at me.
For three straight nights I endured this, what I assumed was a nightmare. After the third night, no more of the night terrors. But the funny thing was that after the third night, I awoke to find my entire body covered in warts. The doctor said he had never seen a case of warts as severe as mine. This is my true story.”

“I work at a sheriff's office. We have a ghost, who is said to be the last person to be hanged in the county before the state took over executions. He was hanged outside the old jail, which is connected to the new building. The area he was hanged is now the recreation yard for the present jail. We'll hear water dripping behind a wall where there are no pipes, but there were in a building that was torn down. We'll hear pipes rattle. The elevator goes off at all hours. Inmates have reported feeling like someone brushing a hand across their forwards like a mother would do to a child while they're in bed asleep. They've also reported feeling someone sit down on the edge of their bunk when they had a single cell and they were locked down. We've heard footsteps in the jail corridor when all the inmates are locked down.
If something bad is happening in the office, his activities are seriously increased. For instance, there was a break-in to the evidence room once. Around the time it's believed to have happened, he was in overdrive in his noise making. Some people believe that he was trying to alert the staff that something was amiss. Once, a coworker said he didn't believe in ghosts. Suddenly, a clipboard went flying off a counter that no one was within feet of. Some people have seen him. I never have.
Once, I was working late in the basement doing some filing. I heard some rattling and just had a feeling the door was going to close. I said, "Roy, don't even think about it. I'm not afraid of you." He's never again tried to scare me and I suspect there was one incident when he protected me. We've also had experiences in the control room that some believe are the activities of a dispatcher who passed away several years ago. Following that theory, when the control panel was going berserk one day, someone called out his name and told him to cut it out. It stopped." - MT Mikmaq

Village Where Crocodiles Are Sacred
Bazoulé (Burkina Faso) (AFP) - Crocodiles may be one of the deadliest hunters in the animal kingdom, but in a small village in Burkina Faso it is not unusual to see someone sitting atop one of the fearsome reptiles.
People in Bazoule, around 30 kilometres (20 miles) from the capital Ouagadougou, share their pond with more than 100 of the razor-toothed creatures.
"We got used to the crocodiles when we were young, swimming in the water with them and all that," said Pierre Kabore, just a few metres (yards) away from a crocodile feasting on chicken provided by the village.
"Now we can always approach them and sit on them -- and if you have the courage, you can lie on them too. There's no problem, they are sacred crocodiles. They don't do anything to anyone." Read more at The village where crocodiles are welcome

Montana Creature DNA...Gray Wolf
The canine creature shot in Montana a month ago that captured the curiosity of the nation is actually a gray wolf.
DNA from the animal, which was shot legally by a rancher near Denton on May 16, was tested at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service forensic laboratory in Ashland, Ore. The lab compared the animal’s DNA with thousands of other DNA samples from wolves, coyotes and dogs. The conclusion was clear – this animal is a gray wolf from the northern Rocky Mountains.
Confusion about the animal might be due to the condition of the animal and the photos, which seemed to show short legs and big ears. Inspection of the animal at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks wildlife health lab in Bozeman revealed a relatively normal looking, dark brown wolf.
Physical variations aren’t unusual for animals, said Mary Curtis, geneticist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Close Encounter, Possible MIB & Lost Time
I recently received the following account:
Hi...I want to tell you about an encounter I had in January 2001, and another incident a month or two later.
I was about 16-years-old at the time and living in Mercer County, WV. My mom worked nights as a private health worker, leaving me alone for the evening. I remember waking up, and seeing 5 small beings standing beside my bed to my left. I felt unusually calm and peaceful at the time. I noticed that the hall light was on, and silhouetted the beings and eclipsed their faces, but still details were visible. There was a lack of coloration to their skin giving a gray appearance, and large almond-shaped black eyes, smallish mouth. They also seemed to be wearing medium to dark blue suits with a triangle on their left breast (with the tip pointing down).
I didn't feel fear or pain, not drugged, as I was quite clear in the head, but the experience was a bit like waking up from anesthesia. I felt like I overheard some conversation, but I can't remember a voice. It said "she's unfit" or something to that effect. (Years later, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, whose symptoms I had been displaying since I was 13 or 14 and nearly made me infertile).
I haven't been able to speak about it until recently, as going there makes me very uneasy and frightened. Even now my palms are cold and sweaty and my heartbeat is elevated.
The next experience had less to do with them than what I believe could have been a MIB encounter after my visitation, approximately a month or two later.
We lived in an apartment building. My mom was away for the evening and it was in the dead of night. I was fully awake, speaking to my now husband on the internet. It must have been between 2-3am and there was a sudden, loud knock on the front door of the building (just under our apartment).
I looked out of the window and saw a black car with chrome trim in the driveway, but not pulled into the parking lot (therefore effectively blocking cars that may come in or out). There were footprints in the snow (single pair) heading right up to my front door.
I called my mother, who was working. She told me to call 911 (my uncle happened to be a police officer). I told the 911 operator what was going on and she said she would send an officer out. I told her I had to call my mother back or she would freak out, so I did and I remember being on the phone with her very briefly and reassuring her that everything would be ok, and that a policeman was on his way. I kept looking out for him.
As soon as I put down the phone, it rang. It was the 911 operator. "Where have you been? I've been trying to call you for hours. We sent an officer out and you didn't answer the door or the phone." I assured her I was just on the phone with my mother for a few minutes but everything was okay. Something feels weird about that, like I was too matter-of-fact about it. After that, the rest of the night is entirely blank.
I asked my mother about it just two days ago. She doesn't remember the incident at all. My husband, who I was speaking to online, remembers the night, but also has a blank spot in his memory about the resolution or what happened exactly. This has continued to bother me for the past two decades. HJ

Lachine, MI - 6/22/2012 - 21:30: My husband, 8 year old daughter, and I were outside my husband’s uncle’s house around 9:30pm on June 22nd 2012. We were looking toward the eves of the house waiting for bats to fly out so we could patch up the hole they had found. It was just starting to get dark and my husband pointed to the sky on the side of the house. We saw this dark black object approaching towards us about 2 -3 telephone poles high above the tree tops. I’d say this object was about ¼ mile away or closer when first seen. I asked what it was and he said he didn’t know. It made no sound at all and moved very slow...slower than a bird. It was moving in a perfectly straight path right in front of us and kept going until it disappeared behind trees blocking our view. There was no detail to this object and its shape is something I don’t even know how to describe. It was a big mass about the size between a man and a car. It looked very bulky. It wasn’t balloons, a bird, or anything I have ever seen in my life. This object was very visible against the sky and there was plenty of light still to determine this was not anything we have seen before.
We had about 2 minutes of looking at this thing and the way it moved in such a perfect straight line...and its size while making no noise really bothers me!! We are both college educated and never expected or looked to see anything of this nature. After looking on line I found a you tube video that shows exactly what we saw. It’s the video of the flying Mexican humanoid. I don’t believe in witches or flying people but that is exactly what we saw that night, I don’t know what to think. - NUFORC

“South West Montana, Hebgen Lake, Horse Butte area, night-time, really bright moonlight. It was crouching on a giant branch of a pine tree eating something. At first I thought it was a bear until I saw that it was perfectly balanced on its hind legs. That's when it growled and threw whatever it was eating then turned and stared at me for a couple of seconds. It growled again and jumped off about 12 feet down landed on its bipedal legs looked at me once again and bolted in to the woods. I didn't bother to see anything else I jumped on the quad and took off.” - Black shuck

Dangerous 'Giant Hogweed' Found in Virginia
A huge weed that can cause third-degree burns and even blindness has been found in Virginia.
Officials in Isle of Wight County, in eastern Virginia near Norfolk and Newport News, posted a warning on Facebook about the invasive plant, which can grow to almost 15 feet.
The Virginia Department of Transportation also reported sightings of the Giant Hogweed in nearby Middlesex County and in Shenandoah County, which is part of the department's Staunton region, according to Richmond TV station WRIC.

'Mystery Sludge' Falls From Sky
A West Kelowna resident had a rude surprise Saturday morning when she awoke to find her vehicle splattered with a grey-white sludge of some sort.
Jenny, who asked her last name not be used, said the goop is all over her car and part of her driveway and she had no idea what it is, or how it got there.
“It's pretty gross,” said Jenny who lives on Keloka Drive in Rose Valley. “We went out at six this morning and the entire passenger side of the vehicle was covered in this very strange sludge.”
Jenny said there was no sludge on the roof of her home, just on her vehicle and part of the driveway.
