Weekend 2 Cents: Big Cat Photographed in Central Maryland -- Blood-Sucking 'Gargoyle' in Puerto Rico -- Modern Exorcisms

Big Cat Photographed in Central Maryland

I received a trail cam image of a supposed Puma or Mountain Lion in Eldersburg, MD (Carroll County) near Mineral Hill Rd. on August 20th. Sightings of big cats have occurred in Carroll and Baltimore Counties over the years, including a personal encounter I had in the summer of 1990 along White Rock Rd. near Piney Run Reservoir (approx. 4 miles west of this recent sighting). Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research associate Timothy Renner mentioned to me that "I saw one in the Boring / Upperco area of Baltimore County on 2 consecutive days in the same field." As well, there was a well-known series of sightings of a large black Mountain Lion in the vicinity of the 9400 block of Liberty Rd. (Randallstown, MD) in 1983.

NOTE: Eldersburg, MD is a few miles north of Sykesville, MD...the location of the Sykesville Monster sighting and several other Bigfoot encounters in the Patapsco River valley. Lon

Blood-Sucking 'Gargoyle' in Puerto Rico

They find bled birds in the area and they blame it on a strange animal for which they will go hunting on Sunday.
They will hunt it alive or dead.

A group of neighbors, led by Edgardo "Nino" Santiago Rodriguez, will go this Sunday, when there is a full moon, in search of "the gargoyle" that has left some fifty birds without a drop of blood in the town of Barceloneta.

The encounter for the hunting of the "phenomenon" will be at 2:00 pm, on the Los Rosales avenue of the Imbery plots, from where they will climb a nearby mountain in which they believe the animal lives that has raged against its birds.

There they will place three cages, strongly prepared, with a dam inside them. They will watch him fall into the trap.

"I understand that if the animal fails, it is mine ... He has to fail at some point and then we can take advantage of the situation and capture him, unfortunately, alive or dead ...", he said.

Although he is calling hunters with licenses to accompany him on Sunday, he assured that "I am going to stay until the next day, alone or accompanied, it does not matter ...".

About a month and a half ago something strange is happening in this quiet neighborhood of Barceloneta, where five families have reported that an animal is sucking the blood of roosters and chickens that are caged.

They assure that this one has an incredible force, that pulls a part of the cage and puts "the hand" to catch the animal.

Some are left moribund and die the next day. Others, those who fight against "the bird", barely manage to survive.

When the next morning they find the victim, after the attack at dawn, it "has a hole in the neck area or in the part of the chest ... It is almost always in the neck, it takes the blood or absorbs it, because there is no trace, no footprints, it is similar to the previous attacks that have taken place here, "Santiago Rodríguez describes the findings in places on two nearby streets. A new documentary shows inside the world of modern exorcisms , where enthusiastic and charismatic preachers claim they can "cure" teenagers suffering from mental disorders .

A World Beyond Earth

I live near Rochester, NY. My experiences are always extremely vivid dreams. Every fiber of my being tells me that my experiences were real. I am not a UFO enthusiast at all, and have always believed abduction stories, for the most part, are the result of an overactive imagination or mental/physical disorders. That stated, here is my story:

I never experienced the actual abduction or saw any kind of spacecraft. My first time, all of the sudden, myself and maybe four other humans were in some kind of building with windows all around, with a huge table in the middle of this stainless steel-like atrium. We were all terrified, and scattered to find a hiding place; we had no idea how we got there, or who anyone else was. We never saw any alien beings either. A human male and I hid in a closet. There were no words spoken the entire time, not sure why. All of the sudden, I wasn't afraid anymore, and ventured out into the atrium once again. I walked to the big table in the center of the room, and some kind of a being or presence was showing me, telepathically, the secret to light spedd travel and their alphabet. I was amazed, no longer afraid, just in awe. Afterwards, I was lead, telepathically, outside of the atrium to their world. It was beautiful beyond my imagination: two suns; one brilliant blue sun on the horizon and another red sun on the other horizon. The world around me had a desert coloring to it, but there were strange plants in the distance. I was telepathically told that my time was up. It is at this time that I woke up in my own bed, feeling like I had been blessed. I was able to draw some of their alphabet, but had no idea what it meant. I was also able to recreate the diagram for faster than light travel. This experience has stuck with me throughout the years.

The second time I had this experience, I suddenly found myself looking at the beautiful horizon with the two beautiful suns. I wasn't afraid at all, but so humbled and excited that I was back! Once again, I never saw any alien(s), but was able to understand, and realize that there were several beings near me, that meant no harm. It is like someone was speaking over a radio directly into my brain. Once again, I am unable to speak with my voice, but these beings must have been able to read my thoughts and emotions, because I got a tour of this facility. As I am walking through the atrium, I notice the ceilings are over 30 feet high, the walls curved and there were no straight lines. It was all a stainless steel looking structure. Very interesting! I walked past glass window, where I saw hundreds of human bodies suspended in some kind of clear solution with one tube going into their abdomen. The tube had a florescent liquid flowing into each human's stomach. I was horrified. The being told me, telepathically, not to worry. These were just generic shells that they had created through genetic replication many years ago. The human shells that they had were devoid of any soul or spirit that made us human, and had no awareness whatsoever. The alien then told me not to be afraid once again, they have no intentions of harming any human being, only a fascination and a need to experiment. The only time they deal with real live humans is in a controlled and friendly environment with no intent to harm or frighten.

All of the sudden, in my mind's eye, I saw a small town just like any here on Earth. There were humans, happily living out their lives in a place that was created by these beings. Almost like a scientific zoo, but the humans were blissfully unaware of their situation. These were genetic reproductions of actual humans from Earth that they created to learn everything about the human race. Once again, the being reiterated that not a single human was harmed, and that these humans were farmed there strictly for research, and were able to live their lives to entirety without any intervention from these beings; these brings were merely there to observe, not interfere.

Once again, I was suddenly outside of their facilities, gazing on the horizon, admiring their two beautiful suns. I awoke, once again, in my own bed, with that same feeling of awe and being blessed with what I was able to experience.

I was astonished to have what seemed like a "follow up" visit, like these beings are making sure to take it slow, not to overwhelm, not to frighten, just to make contact with real Earthly beings and share some of their culture. I believe that the biggest thing these beings were trying to show me is that they are real, they have been making contact with humans for thousands of years, and were proud of their experiments. Kind of like a "hey, we are here, and there is no reason to fear us, let us show you!" I have not had another experience since the second one, which occurred in 2010. Nothing even close. I am not afraid that it will happen again, and I hope I do experience it again. To me, it is almost like seeing the benevolent face of God. These are truly good and beautiful beings that are reaching out. It has been a life changing experience, for the better. I hope that my story helps others and that others have been able to visit these beings.

NOTE: Every once in a while I receive or find an experiencer's narrative detailing a beautiful and benevolent alien world. I suppose I want to believe it...but it's hard for me to fathom, especially after talking to experiencers who have had entirely different encounters. If these beings have the ability to do the things described by the experiencer, then they also have the ability to feign alternative intentions. Call me cautious. Lon

Something Was Watching Over Me

"I have a little story, this goes back to about the early 70s. I'm from Lynwood, Washington. My name is Tom. I was travelling across Nevada from Idaho down to California. And it was early in the morning and I was outside of Winnemucca about 5:30 or 6:00 AM. I was by myself. It was out in the desert area and it was virtually uninhabited. A car came up behind me with two inhabitants who basically started following right on my bumper. I became concerned because it became apparent that they were really interested in getting me stopped. They would pull up alongside and motion me over and things like that. I was afraid.

So as we went along, this played out for several miles and they kept motioning for me to pull over and they came up alongside and I became quite fearful. Well, the oddest thing happened, I had a flat tire and I could feel the car start to sway and I pulled up to a stop and off to the right was a house. These people pulled up in the car and stopped behind me. I didn't know what to do. I was afraid to get out and somebody came out of the house to a pick-up (truck) that was running. And now this was the only house in the area. There was no other house around. And he walked out and he looked and one of the people in the car pointed to this guy and they went ahead and pulled on by me and took off. So I got out and I looked at the man and he was doing something around the pick-up. So I went ahead and got my tire out and changed it and went on my way. Well, it made me quite fearful.

On the way back from California, on the way back to Idaho, I looked for this place. I wanted to stop because it left such a mark on me psychologically. I found the place. It was totally uninhabited. No windows. No doors. Just an old shack. I honestly feel that something kept me from being harmed. Something chased these two guys away. That is what happened.”

The Neighborhood Humanoid

I grew up in a poor neighborhood in Alaska. My friends and I used to play outside together quite a bit. In the summer, we'd stay up way too late. One such summer night, when I was about 13, a friend and I were bumming around the neighborhood and chatting. My friend claimed that a person could see further in the night if they laid in the prone. I called BS, so naturally we had to test it out.

Before I continue, some context will help. We had lived in this neighborhood our whole lives. When we went to meet up to hang out, we would step outside, look down the street, and see each other coming from the other end of the street. I say this to impart upon you the strong possibility that we have an accurate perception of depth, size, and walking speed in relation to the objects present in our neighborhood.

So there we were, two kids, lying in the middle of the road at night (yes, we were incredibly stupid). We were looking off towards my house, which has exactly one intersection and exactly one street light visible in that direction. I was pretty content that I had won our little debate when a silhouette walked in front of that street light.

It was generally humanoid, but seemed to be very tall and lanky. It's head seemed vaguely ovoid, but the rest of it's body seemed kind of stretched out, too. It's movements were fluid and lithe. I don't know how to describe it exactly... smooth motions, like if walking were swimming. It appeared to be highly efficient motions, in a sense. The silhouette did not appear to be wearing any clothes.

The hair on my neck stood up immediately, and I realized I was holding my breath with fear. It crossed the street very quickly, emerging from a set of pines on the one side and disappearing into a set of pines on the other. It seemed to cross in three glide-like steps, lasting only a moment. So, much quicker than adult human.

My friend whispered in a panicked tone, "Did you see THAT?" I said that I had, and we agreed to get the hell out of there. We ran back to his house, locked the front door, then went to his room to bolt the windows and locked his bedroom door just to be on the safe side. Naturally, I decided to crash there, but we just stayed up talking about what we saw and what it could be.

I've told this story a couple times, and people always blow me off. Which is fine. I can appreciate skepticism. But the extra weird part, for anyone that bothers to believe me, is that we met someone else in our town who experienced the same thing.

That same friend and I eventually wound up working for a pizza restaurant together as young adults. We were telling our assistant manager, not much older than us, that same story. He looked super spooked as we talked about it, and when he finished he said he saw it once, too, when he was walking home from a high school party. Once he saw it, he turned around and went back to the party to try to find a place to crash there, unpleasant as that was.

So, here I am. I mostly keep it to myself, but when people are willing to listen I share it with the general sense that if they make fun of me I'll be alright. My coworkers now are surprisingly cool with it. They don't believe me, but they bought me an x-files mug that says "I want to believe," just to show that it's no big deal. Good dudes.

Despite so many people telling me my brain was playing tricks on me, I still keep my ear to the ground about humanoids, ETs, "supernatural" phenomena, and the like. Seen a couple UFOs since then, but nothing big. - baltarstar - www.reddit.com/r/Humanoidencounters/

What Happened?

Imus from California called to tell of a weird experience he had:

“I'm an avid bike rider. I'm in Sun City, California riding up the hill on my way home and I, all of a sudden, everything stopped. I don't remember actually falling but when I did wake up in my bed, I was scabbed on my shoulder and my bike was perfectly put in the backyard where I always put it and I'm in my house, I'm in the bed, and the doors locked. Nothing is touched. The only odd thing about is that I had a perfectly round circle on my wrist. Everyone is always asking me, what is that? What happened? You know, it is inconsistent with a fall. It had like a little, a little, on the right, in the center of it there's like a line in it, so there was like something in it. I know it seems odd to say but that is exactly what's going on and that, I mean, after it happened, I just forgot about it but the more I think about it, it's extremely odd. As much as I ride a bike, I occasionally fall but I don't remember falling, I don't remember any type of pain but what is extremely odd is that I woke up in my bed, on my back, my bike is perfectly where I put it all the time and I have this circle, as if it was a mark or something on my wrist.”

Grandma Gigi's Family

Laura from Tennessee wrote to tell of her bizarre encounter:

“My mom and dad divorced when I was ten years old. We lost our home, but all in all my sister and I were very happy children and always tried to show support to our mom by saying it's just a new adventure replacing our old lives with God and each other. We knew it would all work out for the best.

There was an older farm located on a dead end road that belonged to distant family members and was offered up to us to live in rent free, so we could get back on our feet and save a little money. This dead end street was also home to nothing but relatives. Eight different homes in all and the support they gave us was phenomenal. My favorite new past-time was coming home from school and walking over to my Grandma Gigi's house to help clean in exchange for wonderful company and non-stop laughter with her, her husband Robert, brother-in-law Michael, brother Lucas, and his wife Amy. The years ticked by and I could fondly remember our conversations and time together. Grandma Gigi also had this Teacup Poodle she named Andy from The Andy Griffith Show and he was never more than a few inches from her feet at all times. Like everything, it all came to an end one day.

I came home after school one day to quickly do my homework and then head back up to Grandma Gigi's house like I always did. But this time my mom's car was in our driveway. My mom had to work two jobs to make ends meet and my sister and I never got to see her before 10:00 PM on week days. She was seated at the table with my sister. They both had clearly been talking but went silent as soon as I walked into the kitchen. As delicately as my mother could, she told me the tragic news that my grandmother had passed away in her sleep this morning. I was devastated. Gigi was everything to me. I started crying thinking about all those things we could never be able to do together again. Grandma Gigi loved baking sugar cookies so we could sit and spoil our appetites before dinner. Her husband Robert was a huge muscularly built old farmer that was strong and silent but all I could picture was him on his knees mourning the loss of his life's true love. My next thought landed on her brother and his wife. They were at the house every single day, all these years and I knew they would need whatever comfort I could provide. I thought about Papa's brother Michael doing everything he could for everyone in their awkward ways. Suddenly everything in my head started screaming that I had to get to them as soon as possible and make sure they were okay.

I stood up and tried to run back out of the kitchen, down the hall and out the door to get to them but my mom was a spry little thing when she was younger and managed to grab me by the hand, stopping me. She knew where I was going and she just pulled me into her tiny frame leaving me free to just cry and scream that I had to go check on everyone. Suddenly her face took an entirely confused look. She asked me, 'Exactly why do you need to go and check in on everyone? I just told you, Mama Gigi passed away this morning. Her home is empty. There's no one there to check on anymore.' I was frustrated and angry that she wasn't even considering anyone else in that house and how devastated they may be. I knew if I wanted to make her let me go, I would have to tell her who I was talking about and so I did. She just stood there with her eyes huge. My sister walked up beside her with the same confused and shocked look on her face. At this point, alarms were going off in my head that something was wrong. I kept telling her that they need me! They need me!

I told her every detail I could about everyone, what they talked about, the stories they all told and how they looked and what clothes they wore. Complete silence followed save for a few grumbled, 'Huhs?' that my mom managed to get out. Finally my mom flatly told me, 'Baby girl, Grandma Gigi lived alone after her husband died 23 years ago in a car wreck with his brother Michael. Her brother passed away 8 years ago before you were born from a heart attack while working with his horses out in the field and his wife Amy died in her sleep a few months after. You couldn't have met them.... EVER! Nothing she said made sense, so I jerked my hand away and ran to my Grandma Gigi's house. I ran into Gigi's house only to find it dark, cold, empty... No one was there. There was no Andy. Even the furniture that everyone sat on in the living-room was different. There used to be a couch and two floral printed love seats but now someone had replaced them with one newer electric dark lazy boy and a small modern television. Her bedroom used to have a large oak queen-sized bed with matching dressers and side tables but in its place now was a hospital-style bed with guard rails and monitors. I don't know how long Grandma Gigi was sick or how I missed the medical equipment. She always looked healthy, happy and energetic when I would to visit her. I will always love her and remember everyone and the things they told me. I spent years after these events seeing a child psychiatrist to make my family feel like I was coping like a normal kid.”

2nd Humanoid Sighting in Mount Vernon, Ohio

Mount Vernon, Ohio: As I was driving home on 31 July 2018 at 01:43 on Ohio state route 13 north of Mount Vernon, OH a 7-8ft tall, skinny, humanoid like creature ran across the road out of a corn field across into a soybean field (from a east to west direction). I noticed the creature in my headlights from 50-75ft away as I was traveling at a rate of 55-60mph. As it came out of the cornfield I immediately let off the accelerator. At first thinking it was a deer but then seen the creature walked upright. It was 7-8ft in height, tall slender body, arms and legs small in diameter, hands and feet looked over-sized for its body proportion, small neck with oval elongated head, being dark tan to light brown skin tone and had no body hair. The creature slightly turned its head towards my vehicles headlights and I seen the creatures black eyes and small mouth just open slightly as it continued to run across the road. It barely took 2-3 steps and it was across the road at a tremendous rate of speed. I was in total shock and thought I should check it out at first but then thought for a second and being uncertain of what I may have just seen I had better get out of the area. I lost sight of the entity due to darkness. I am a 24 year USAF retired aircrew veteran with a top secret security clearance. Not to be totally bliss but would someone please advise me on what I seen because it still and truly and frightened me. - MUFON

Micrometeorite Impacts ISS

The crew had to search for a leak, which was eventually traced to the Russian space capsule docked with the station.

The leak was found in the Soyuz craft, which is docked with the ISS, reported Russian space chief Dmitry Rogozin. The official said air was being sucked out through a 1.5mm fracture, which may have been caused by a micrometeorite impact.

“The crew safety is not in danger,” he said. “The spaceship will be kept, a repair kit will be used.”

'Kill Bigfoot' Debate

How do you kill Bigfoot?

“You would need a heavy-duty rifle,” according Jim Lansdale, co-founder of the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization (GCBRO). “I would suggest a 30-aught-six or better; .458 or something like that. Maybe a seven-mag’. But it’s all shot placement and you’d have to shoot him in the head. You can’t body-shoot him. They’re too big.”

Lansdale has thought a lot about killing Bigfoot. He even starred in a reality show about it, called Killing Bigfoot on Destination America. In the recent canon of Bigfoot-focused pseudoscientific backwood shows and documentaries—including Finding Bigfoot, Discovering Bigfoot, 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty—Killing Bigfoot is the only show that unapologetically promotes Bigfoot bloodlust. It follows Lansdale and the rest of the GCBRO crew as they investigate Bigfoot reports and try to put a bullet in the brain of a creature that has never been proven to exist.

But most Bigfoot seekers fall into the other camp.

Video of Alien?

In a strange case out of Argentina, a security guard claims to have encountered an alien in a field and has a rather curious piece of footage from the incident. The bizarre case reportedly occurred earlier this month in the city of Villa Maria when a night watchman named Eduardo noticed some odd lights near the property he was guarding. When he ventured to the area to investigate, he had an experience that seems to have left him still shaken today.

"When I went with the flashlight, I saw some stains like something burned in the grass," he recalled, "I started to get scared because that was not common." That initial fear turned to outright terror as Eduardo scanned the area with a flashlight and purportedly spotted something moving in the grass. The Moon Is a Venusian Colony - Part III

Viking Probes to Mars a Diversion

By the time that the United States Bicentennial was being celebrated in 1976, the world’s attention towards all matters extraterrestrial had been diverted to the Viking 1 and 2 Mars missions, which were scheduled to land on the Red Planet on 20 July and 3 September, respectively, of that year. The Viking probes were to scoop up Martian dirt and then heat it up in built-in ovens to determine whether or not microorganisms existed there. The results were inconclusive. Some were suggesting, however, that the Viking missions were just a diversion for keeping us from more closely observing strange occurrences taking place on the Moon, just short of 250,000 miles away versus Mars, that is, on average, about 140 million miles away.

Apollo 17 was launched on 17 December 1972 and was allegedly the last manned mission to the Moon. There are rumors of an Apollo 18 mission, where astronauts encountered extraterrestrials and were given a warning to take back to authorities on Earth, delineating areas of the Moon where future explorers were prohibited entry.
The Moon is Inhabited

In the seven years since the Apollo 11 mission, most Americans had moved on from paying even the slightest attention to the Moon, but not all. One of these consistently observing our closest celestial neighbor was former National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) scientist and photographic analyst, the Harvard engineering graduate George H. Leonard. Making some pretty shocking claims about the Moon, Leonard backed these up by securing the original, massive prints of sundry classified photos taken by the various Apollo mission teams while in orbit or carrying out a reconnaissance of the lunar surface by foot or Moon buggy.

Leonard kept asserting that the Moon is inhabited. He compiled his photos in a wonderful book, Somebody Else Is on the Moon (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: David McKay Company, Inc., 1976). Leonard’s book opened a floodgate. Many NASA personnel, currently employed, fired, or retired, came forward to declare that everything stated in Somebody Else Is on the Moon was thoroughly accurate. They were just sorry that they didn’t have the courage that Leonard displayed. They wished they had come out with full disclosures about what they had discovered about the Moon a lot sooner.

Despite official denials since hurled against Leonard and his book, the author accomplished much more than just spinning a fanciful theory. His exhaustive study and analysis of thousands of sundry Apollo missions’ Moon photographs presents a convincing case that not only does the Moon have life on it, but that it is inhabited by intelligent beings that arrived there long ago from other planets, both inside and outside of our solar system, and colonized it for the express purpose of monitoring the spiritual and technological progress of humankind down through the ages.

Leonard maintains that the evidence for the presence of alien beings on our Moon is everywhere to be found: on the surface, on the far side and near side, in the craters, in the maria (Latin for “seas,” but here indicative of vast lunar plains) and even in the lunar highlands. He believes that the extraterrestrials on the Moon have literally been changing its face with various construction projects underway for the longest, but undetermined times. Leonard held a sneaking suspicion that astronomical discoveries, like those mentioned in this series, triggered both the United States and Soviet Union’s Moon programs. They may really be not so much the manifestation of a space race as a “desperate cooperation.”

In Leonard’s book, extensive attention is paid to photographs of the mysterious structures mentioned in Parts I and II of this series. There is also a photograph of a massive piece of machinery measuring five miles in diameter. The object in question is clearly a machine, because gears and teeth are visible. Leonard speculated that if the Moon machine were dropped down on Manhattan, it would literally “obliterate everything from midtown to the bowery.” There are also huge “super-rigs” and “X-drones.” Apparently, these are employed in moving significant amounts of lunar regolith. In the photos, these mechanisms seem to be knocking down ridge lines, carving away at the rim of craters, and more or less altering the very shape of the lunar landscape.

There are also strange sprays of dirt, sand, and even water that have been seen and photographed spewing out from craters. Leonard wonders what else might be emerging from the Moon’s many craters. Similar sprays have been observed on Saturn’s small moon of Enceladus and Neptune’s largest natural satellite Triton. This orb is so big that astronomers speculate it is not a moon at all, but was once a planet on the edge of the Kuiper Belt that was captured by the gravitational pull of Neptune countless eons ago. These sprays on our Moon, Enceladus and Triton seem to be indicative of aquifers or underground seas, possible sources for extraterrestrial life.

It’s not just Leonard’s word versus the assertions of the whole NASA establishment that the Moon is a dead, lifeless orb. Leonard presents his readers with official photographs along with line drawings that help us to select the more intriguing details that he discovered, pinpointing the areas and features that have long puzzled astronomers and others in the world scientific community. NASA Plate 14 (designated 67-H-1135) clearly shows two long trails, 900 and 1,200 feet long. The objects that made these tracks are light-splashed by the Sun; so some details are blocked out. However, they clearly do not look like boulders or anything else in the surrounding area of the photograph.

Leonard speculates, “Do you know how much force it would take to set in motion a rock 75 feet across? Volcanic action might do it; but we have NASA’s word for the fact that the Moon, on the surface at least, is seismically quiet.” The engineer further explains that, “The smaller object in the photo- the one making the longer trail- came up out of a crater before it continued down the hill. Repeat: It came up out of a crater.”

The former NASA engineer also points out a “fascinating tread mark on the trail of one of the ‘boulders.’ There is also a symmetrical design on the ‘boulder’ itself.”

Two Engineers Share Moon Data

In my opinion, this Leonard’s Somebody Else Is on the Moon is one of the more important books that the ufologist should maintain in her or his personal research library. I know for a fact that many persons inside of NASA helped Leonard obtain the hard-to-find and often classified information that he needed to write this fantastic book of Moon revelations. He mentions one engineer with a doctorate in physics, informed on all aspects of the Moon missions and lunar and the obstacles that our astronauts would encounter in the lunar geology. Leonard dubs him with the pseudonym of Dr. Samuel Wittcomb. What follows is the summation of a conversation between Leonard and Wittcomb.

Leonard: What did you mean when you said the Moon had “giant tailors?”

Wittcomb: Well, you see a lot of wreckage on the Moon, don’t you?

Leonard: Agreed.

Wittcomb: That wreckage could have taken place a thousand years ago or millions of years ago.

Leonard: Right. But what does this mean?

Wittcomb: One argument the people use for the occupation-eons-ago theory is just that many of the artifacts we see are part of the wreckage. It’s easy to believe there were aliens once on the Moon, pulling big pieces together- and they weren’t finished?

Leonard: It would seem logical, then, that they are still around. They are still repairing. But where is it taking place?

Wittcomb: Several places, but I am surprised that you have not found them. Someone in the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) sketched some out for me. But I already knew they were there.

Of course, the engineer Leonard kept up his own investigation and found many more lunar anomalies on his own. One can appreciate Somebody Else Is on the Moon for its very capacity to cut through the official smokescreen surrounding our nearest celestial neighbor, opening our minds to an enigma of historic and profound proportions.

Some who have sought out this information under the Freedom of Information Act have run into brick walls. Here are the comments from the field investigator of a major UFO group, retired United States Army Command Sergeant Major Robert Dean at the Exopolitics Summit in Barcelona, Spain, in 2009:

“Ladies and gentlemen, my government, NASA, which many of us in the United States say stands for Never A Straight Answer, proceeded to erase 40 rolls of film of the Apollo Program — the flight to the Moon, the flight around the Moon, the landings on the Moon, the walking guys here and there. They erased, for Christ’s sake, 40 rolls of film of those events. Now we’re talking about several thousand individual frames that were taken that the so-called authorities determined that you did not have a right to see. Oh, they were ‘disruptive,’ ‘socially unacceptable,’ ‘politically unacceptable.’ I’ve become furious. I’m a retired Command Sergeant Major. I was never famous for having a lot of patience.”

“We're going out to some Indian burial grounds (near Chicago). The last time we were out there, we had some... We had the Latino American Paranormal Society (LAPS – a paranormal organization based out of Chicago) with us and there was some teenagers that came out of nowhere with no flashlights or anything like that. The way it was told to me was that they walked around and they came up to the one guy with the tools and the tape recorder and he talked to him in Spanish, asking about the tools. He answered back in Spanish and they were satisfied and left. But, not only did he but Patti (another researcher) also took photographs of them leaving and what happened is when he got home and listened to the tape, the teenager that was talking to him in Spanish all of a sudden was coming out in English on the tape. And the photographs that they took of these, I guess, teenagers, well behaved by the way, there was nothing there but orbs.”

RCMP, UFOs and Missing Persons

Ponoka, Alberta, Canada - 2017-08-08 - 20:13: One of the first things with public safety, is to identify oneself in the bounds of law to the local authorities. In the central Alberta area it is the RCMP. New definition, identities have been getting identified. Also being confirmed with the Canadian military and US military. Constable Southerland and Constable Desjardins dealt with the this with a missing persons cold case. They have heard of the identification of terms of Indo-Aryan, Sky-beings etc. Constable Southerland had also worked with me identifying communications, etc. Constable Southerland also did legal agreements with some male individuals here for a missing persons case/cold case regarding myself. There has been a lot of controversy about secret societies such as an Eastern Star group, the Illuminati, made up code language. I have never heard of this with these groups before and the police have been investigating this, so has Interpol around some program. There is controversy and rumors about government experiments that the RCMP, gang units, Interpol, etc are aware of and are investigating also. The justice department is aware of this, Court of Queen's Bench, provincial court etc. An UFO in unidentified. It is no longer a UFO if such has been identified in the bounds of the law, with new legal definitions for safety. The RCMP, the gang units, and Interpol are dealing with a cease fire program around this, that also address public health as well as public safety. As a victim in the legal system I started I was a child once myself and grandma's house is what I wanted to see with Constable Southerland. - MUFON

Exorcism Results in House Burning Down

In a rather bizarre sequence of events, a woman in Louisiana, USA, ended up burning down her house after she set her sofa on fire, believing that it was haunted by the Devil. The woman, identified as 53-year-old JoLynn Winn decided to perform an exorcism on her couch as she was convinced that the devil resided in her piece of furniture, The Sun reported.

The incident is said to have taken place on August 11 at Arnold Road in Louisiana, as per the report. Firefighters were called on the scene after reports of a trailer house on fire, where they found Winn suffering due to smoke inhalation. The Fire Marshal later arrested the 53-year-old when it was discovered that it was she who had started the fire. Big Cat Photographed in PA

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. -- The sighting of a big cat over the weekend in Lackawanna County has caused a debate over what was lurking in the Dodge family's backyard.

That large cat was spotted in Clarks Summit and then it was gone.

But once WNEP's Kurt Aaron posted the photo to Facebook, people started guessing at what the animal was. Was it a bobcat or something else?

Nick Dodge and his family are used to seeing foxes, but what they saw over the weekend was rather unusual. The family's surveillance cameras caught a large cat of some sort outside the fence late Saturday afternoon.

"When I first saw it, I was like, 'Wait, is that a mountain lion? No, they don't live around here.' Then I saw and was like, 'It could be a bobcat, possibly mountain lion,' " Nick Dodge said. Read more at What is This Big Cat Caught on Camera?

The Moon Is a Venusian Colony - Part II

The contactees of the 1950s and early 1960s tried to tell us that the Moon was already colonized by extraterrestrials, mostly Venusians. August C. Roberts, a close associate of the New Jersey sign painter and contactee, Howard Menger, who claimed to have taken a ride to a Venusian base on the Moon in a flying saucer, was interviewed by Joan Wiessmann, a correspondent for the Morning Call newspaper of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The intriguing interview appeared in the Friday, 4 July 1969 edition of the newspaper, just two weeks and two days before astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the surface of the Moon. Wiessmann’s interview with Roberts is important because it reflected the then extant mindset of most ufologists about the space program and a perceived cover-up of the truth about the UFO phenomenon.

In the Wiessmann article entitled “Augie Wants Moon News,” Roberts is quoted as saying that, “The Moon landing should prove a lot of things. It will also prove some people liars.”

At the time of the interview, Roberts was living in Wayne Township, New Jersey. Roberts could hardly contain his enthusiasm for the projected 20 July Moon landing. He was anxious to see if the astronauts would find dome-like buildings on the surface of the Moon. Roberts was a photographer noted for his tremendous collection of UFO pictures. But the finest flying saucer photos in his collection came from his good friend, the contactee Howard Menger. The famous photographer explained that, “I know a chap, Howard Menger, who has some good pictures of what he claims are flying saucers.” Roberts added that, “Menger claims to have been on the Moon. I did a book with him titled ‘From Outer Space to You.’” This book was published by the Saucerian Press of Clarksburg, West Virginia, in 1959.

Roberts continued: “Menger says some people from Venus landed in his backyard at High Bridge, New Jersey, and took him for a ride to the Moon.” While Menger was hovering over the Moon in a Venusian scout ship, the pilot of the craft allowed him to take some photographs of dome-like buildings on the lunar surface. These he turned over to his friend and fellow UFO researcher August C. Roberts, long acknowledged as one of the world’s leading authorities when it came to taking photographs of unexplained aerial and space phenomena.

Enter Valiant Thor

Of Menger, Roberts commented that, “I know his story very well. I believe that Menger thinks he is telling the truth; but I don’t necessarily believe the story.” When reporter Wiessmann asked Roberts to elaborate on this, Roberts explained that once he was in attendance at a meeting where the sign painter, Menger, was addressing the members of a flying saucer club assembled at his High Bridge home. Menger allegedly told the membership that there was a man from Venus among them, although they weren’t quite sure who he was.

“I took pictures of an unusual-looking man and then had these reproduced,” said Roberts, also declaring that, “Nobody has stepped forward and disproved the story. Menger called him Valiant Thor.” These and other photographs from Roberts’ special collection have been widely publicized in almost every UFO journal ever since. Just recently, I published them along with Roberts’ official seal and typed comments as found on the back of each photograph on the Jeff Rense Radio website.

Back in 1969, most of Roberts’ photos remained in his “secret file,” then considered one of the largest archives of UFO pictures in the entire United States, if not the world. Those photographs of UFOs and alleged extraterrestrials not taken by Roberts were carefully copied by him from other special collections. Roberts also co-produced a full-length commercial movie about flying saucers with Dr. Frank Stranges, out in Van Nuys, California. The movie was a UFO documentary entitled, “Phenomena 7-7.”

August C. Roberts was musing prophetic when he declared that, “What I do today, the children of tomorrow will see in books and movies.” Now, 49 years later, prominent Hollywood movie director Craig Campobasso has succeeded in garnering sufficient financing to go ahead with the production of a full-blown feature film about Valiant Thor’s arrival and activities here on Earth from 1957-1960. The movie will be titled Stranger in the Pentagon and should be in theaters sometime late next year or into the beginning of 2020.

Roberts on the Condon Report

During the time of the interview, the United States government recently concluded an exhaustive study of UFOs. It was contracted to the University of Colorado at Boulder and headed up by the prominent physicist Dr. Edward U. Condon. The Colorado team was assigned the task of determining whether or not flying saucers as extraterrestrial spacecraft were actually coming to the Earth. The Air Force paid the University of Colorado slightly over $500,000 to study this matter in 1966; and the study formally concluded in November 1968. Their report, titled Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects, was released in January 1969. It has commonly come to be known as the Condon Report. Of the final document, Roberts was not impressed. “The research group must be incompetent because they decided the saucers didn’t exist,” he assured Wiessmann.

The pioneering ufologist added that, “I have proof-positive that they do exist. The people never asked to look at my files. The flying saucers look like bell-type ships.”

Wiessmann wondered if Roberts had any problems with the government, being so knowledgeable about the flying saucers traversing our skies. The ufologist did admit that he was once escorted out of the Pentagon because and a companion called out some top government officials as “liars” with respect to some of their misleading remarks about the UFO phenomenon that they were making to the press.

“They told us that President Ike Eisenhower said the UFOs were only sunspots,” noted Roberts. He thought this was a dubious statement because he served as a plane spotter at a remote base of the Army Air Corps situated at a secret location in a mountainous section along the Mexican border in 1943. “At that time, I and the other enlisted men were amazed to see a huge orange object circle below us in the valley. I know what a sunspot looks like, and this object exhibited no resemblance to that type of phenomenon.”

Remarkable Career

In his long career in the burgeoning subject of ufology, Roberts noted that for 1969, the year of the Moon shot, “business is slow these days as far as UFOs are concerned.” He added that, “A few UFOs have been seen in foreign countries. But you know, the saucers are supposed to appear in cycles. I believe it’s every five years.” Roberts expounded on the close approach of Mars and other planets in the solar system, when UFO activity seems to peak. “But I don’t say this is true. I don’t subscribe to any space theory.” Like the great anomalist John A. Keel, who worked in close association with Roberts on several projects, the prominent UFO photographer thought that there might be some inter-dimensional aspect to the whole UFO scenario, although he couldn’t be sure. “I keep an open mind to the possibility of UFOs as coming from some unseen ultra-dimensional reality,” he declared.

Another prolific figure from the UFO community who worked with Roberts was Gray Barker, the publisher of the Saucerian Press in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Barker edited and published Howard Menger’s first book, From Outer Space to You. Barker also popularized the frequent appearance of the mysterious Men in Black to UFO experiencers. Barker accused these dark figures with silencing the voices of those participating in close encounters of the third kind, or contact with the flying saucer occupants, and thereby keeping the truth about UFOs from the public at large. But it was Gray Barker who said of Roberts that, “If anybody deserves to be honored as a flying saucer pioneer, that person is August C. Roberts. In the unfolding saucer drama, his name has become as familiar as those of George Adamski, Major Donald E. Keyhoe, Ray Palmer and others.”

Roberts served as photographic consultant for Gray Barker’s Saucerian Press, in addition to working for a time with Raymond Palmer and his line of mystic, flying saucer, science fiction and space magazines. Long associated with UFO contactee Dominick Lucchesi, also of New Jersey, they published one of the very first flying saucer magazines, Nexus. He has given assistance to practically every major researcher from the early days of ufology, and was doing the photographic layout on a UFO book with comic book, science fiction and space writer Otto Binder, right before Binder passed away in 1974 at his Chestertown, New York, home.

One of the most exciting moments in Roberts’ UFO career took place in 1952. He was positioned in a sky watch tower and actually snapped a photo of a saucer which appeared directly above New York City. The photograph was shown on television, in newspapers up and down the East Coast, and national magazines. Roberts even appeared on a major television news program in 1955 where he displayed the photograph, along with some others of UFOs that he had taken since 1952 on other occasions. His account of the sighting and photograph of the object, along with other UFO photos, were included in the Westinghouse time capsule buried at the conclusion of the 1964 New York World’s Fair. The capsule will not be opened until the year 6939. Hopefully, UFO disclosure will have come by then. But I suppose we shouldn’t hold our breath.

Another Moon Mystery

The discovery of mysterious obelisk and domed structures in the mountains to the north of the Sea of Tranquility on the surface of the Moon cinched the area as the first priority landing zone for the Apollo 11’s lunar excursion module. Astronomers at the Corralitos Observatory on a remote ranch in the desert north of Las Cruces, New Mexico, attached there by a special lunar phenomena investigations division of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, were conducting a survey of the mountains and craters in and around the Sea of Tranquility just weeks prior to the Apollo 11 launch, when they reported a unique ultraviolet radiation in close vicinity to the proposed landing zone.

Back in July 1969, while co-editing the Flying Saucer Report out of Bedford, Ohio, I received a newspaper clipping from a subscriber in Arizona. It was dated 5 July 1969 and first appeared as an Associated Press dispatch in the Tucson Daily Citizen. Titled, “Scientists Find a Moon Mystery,” this news item detailed how a group of New Mexico astronomers recorded intermittent fluxes of radiation from a large crater not far from the proposed Tranquility landing site. They had been monitoring this radiation flux for the past two years. “We are detecting in the Aristarchus region on a lunar monthly basis an excess of blue or ultraviolet,” noted J. R. Dunlap, the resident director of the observatory.

Threat Assessment

President Richard M. Nixon was apprised of the situation at Aristarchus crater directly by Dunlap. “What you are telling me is certainly unprecedented, Dunlap. That this radiation threat is centered so close to our designated Apollo landing zone is worrisome to me. Do you think we should temporarily postpone the mission?” inquired Nixon.

The Corralitos facility director replied that, “Mr. President, I do not believe the radiation will threaten the Apollo 11 astronauts or future Moon landing crews.”

“Would it be prudent to select an alternate landing site?” asked the president.

Dunlap declared that, “I think that I should defer to the head of our astronomy department at Northwestern University for that, Dr. J. Allen Hynek. We are definitely dealing with something quite extraordinary at Aristarchus and the Tranquility region in general.”

“Yes, I know Hynek. I’ve consulted him before on similar occurrences in outer space,” remarked Nixon.

Hynek Briefs Nixon

The president’s secretary set up a secure telephone line for Nixon to speak directly to Hynek at Northwestern. The following is a summation of their conversation.

Nixon: Dr. Hynek, what’s going on at Aristarchus crater? We’re getting too close to launch with Apollo 11 to start making any mission deviations.

Hynek: From what my people at Corralitos are telling me, their observations of the ultraviolet radiation began while they were in the process of searching for information about some of the centuries-old phenomena on the Moon that have long baffled us in the astronomy community.

Nixon: What are we talking about here, Hynek? I know you’re my “Johnny on the Spot” for everything UFOs and paranormal. Are we talking about ET activity on the Moon? Don’t B.S. me, Hynek. I’m not John Q. Public that’s going to buy off on “swamp gas” or “Venus seen in some weather inversion,” or any other lame explanation, for that matter.

Hynek: I’d never B.S. you, Mr. President. You were right there in the White House when our first emissary showed up there. So there’s no bull shitting you, Mr. President.

Nixon: Glad we have that settled. So what’s up at this crater that I should know about?

Hynek: Our folks at Corralitos were charged by me to monitor the areas where this “red glow” has been consistently observed. I wanted them to watch for any such red glows in the area where our astronauts are planning to land.

Nixon: That seems wise, Hynek. Please continue.

Hynek: Well, these red glowing areas on the Moon have been observed by astronomers for at least four centuries. They’re called lunar transient events. But besides the red glow, our astronomers at Corralitos and other telescopes devoted to lunar observations have reported seeing temporary increases in the brightness at Aristarchus crater. It has changed colors in its pulsating brightness.

Nixon: We have our reasons to suspect saucer activity on the back side of the Moon; but I wasn’t aware of anything taking place on the side that always faces us.

Hynek: This is a definite concern, Mr. President, especially in light of the fact that it’s occurring now, right before our astronauts take off for that very region.

Nixon: So what have astronomers been doing about it? What more have you discovered, that I need to know about?

Hynek: As of a few days ago, the red glows have ceased. But they have been replaced by some quite pronounced emissions of ultraviolet radiation. Utilizing our 24-inch telescope at Corralitos, we couldn’t be sure if the atmosphere or something was interfering to produce it; and we could not duplicate our findings. Frankly, Mr. President, I’m not sure just what the hell is going on up there.

Nixon: Dr. Hynek, given the unusual energy fluxes at Tranquility Base as reported from Corralitos, is it your opinion that we need to change our landing zone to somewhere else?

Hynek: I think we will be OK to stick with Tranquility Base as our LZ. The radiation has been observed regularly since last fall. We have no doubt that the radiation is there. Something, or someone, is causing it. I don’t think we’ll be alone up there on the Moon. It might be prudent to keep our astronauts apprised of this. ET will allow us to land and make our observations. But anything we find out about their presence on the Moon will have to be hushed up. As news of some strange lights and radiation near Aristarchus have already reached the ears of some in the news media, I suggest we go with a press release declaring something like, “The lunar rocks are just giving off a natural fluorescence, akin to the same process that causes mineral specimens in museums to glow under ultraviolet or infrared light.”

Nixon: Do you really think the public is going to believe that?

Hynek: I certainly hope so. We are entering a new age with our Moon landing. ET may let us land on the Moon; but I doubt they will let us establish a continuing presence there.

The Aftermath

Following the success of the Apollo 11 Moon landing mission, both Dr. J. Allen Hynek and President Richard M. Nixon were asked for their opinions about extraterrestrials and UFOs at various news conferences. According to a 22 April 2009 article in the London, United Kingdom, Telegraph newspaper, this is what these two historic personages had to say on the matter:

A man (no name was given) called in from Seattle to tell of a ghost experience he had:

“This happened about 11 years ago. I had a girlfriend that had been killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. She had gotten in the accident on August 18 and on August 20th she had been pronounced dead, two months before her 20th birthday. On Halloween night exactly, there was party at the house where she had used to live. Her roommates had decided to have a party to try and get over the grieving process and what not. We had hired a band from over in Everett and I was over at the house to let the band in. The band that came, nobody knew about Lisa who had died, and the head singer for the band had gone into the bathroom back by Lisa's bedroom. It was a female with dark hair, Lisa had red hair. She was in the bathroom combing her hair and she let out a scream like I have never heard before in my life. I went running back there and she was standing there in the mirror just as white as could be. And she looked at me and she said, 'Some one has died here.' And I said, 'What do you mean?' And she said, 'I looked into the mirror and it wasn't my face.' She described Lisa right to a tee. She walked out of the bathroom and she turned and looked right at Lisa's room and she said, 'That's her room.' Well, the first thing I thought was that these people were trying to play a really sick joke. I got together with a couple other people and we were talking about it and this girl from the band kept wanting to leave. And before she had gone into the bathroom, she had been so excited about playing this gig.

Later in the evening, I was standing in Lisa's bedroom talking to somebody and I looked into the window and I saw her reflection from behind me and heard her voice asking me to leave. I left the party and later that night over 10,000 dollars damage was done to that house by people getting out of hand. I just really believe, and just sitting here recalling it, I get the shakes like I did that night. I just really believe that she had came back not wanting people sitting there getting drunk.”

'Big Bird' Experience

Wow, Lon, I had never heard of anyone else that had similar experiences as to what happened to me when I was very young. I am a paranormal researcher now because of all the experiences I have had in my years, and have been meaning to describe many of them to you, but have not until now, until I just read the Sesame Street ones. I didn't really put two and two together as it being 'paranormal' until now, although I knew it was something bazaar that happened to me as a child. I have told a few people about it, but of course, as silly as it sounds, I never expected anyone to believe me, but this is what happened to me.

I was born in 1976, in Dayton Ohio and shared a room with my brother for several years. I like the other account on your blog, also have memories dating back to my crib, but this event took place when I was in my bog bed, so I must have been at least 3-4 years old. My brother had one side of the room, I had the other. We had a very large walk in closet and the door to it was at the foot of my bed. One night as I was trying to get to sleep (my brother was already asleep), the door opened and I know this sounds crazy, but out came Big Bird. I remember being frightened at first, but others came out too and they were very friendly and led me into the closet with them. All I remember at this point is that Big Bird gave me a flavored chap stick (most likely to ease my fear because I loved chap stick), and they brought me back to my bed. I went to sleep very happy over the whole experience and was not afraid anymore. I put the chap stick under my pillow after taking a tiny nibble leaving my teeth marks just to see if it was still there in the morning. The next morning, I checked and low and behold the chap stick WAS there. JUST like I remembered, and at that moment I knew for a fact it was not a dream. If it were not for that chap stick the experience probably would not have stayed with me all these years. I tried to tell my brother, but he laughed it off, as anyone would, it sounds totally crazy. Now, after reading the other accounts of similar experiences, I am wondering if it was an abduction disguised as a friendly interaction. Another really weird phenomenon happened to me in the same house, but a different room within those 10 years I lived in that house. I have somewhat of a timeline as we moved when I was 10. I will describe my other experience that could have been an abduction, in another email.

Time Slip Into The Past

Lesley in Michigan wrote to tell of a time slip she had:

“A few years ago when I as living in my apartment, I was walking from my living room to my kitchen to get a drink and I had to pass my bedroom to get into my kitchen. As I walked past my bedroom I glanced into my room and I saw what was not my bedroom. What I saw was a bedroom from another time period. My bedroom looked like a bedroom from the 1800s. I saw old farmer style boots neatly tucked under the bed, a pitcher of water with a wash bowl, old looking bedding and an older looking bed. The whole room looked like a bedroom from the 1800s period. It was a quick glance but it seemed like time had slowed down so that I could see this.”

'I've been here before'

A man called from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to share a bizarre experience he had:

“I've got a story for you and I don't know what it is. Time travel, space travel, I don't know. My friend lives 400 miles away from me. She's a girl but it's nothing romantic. I was at home and I had a couple of glasses of wine and I fell asleep on my couch watching a football game, a college football game. So I wake up at 2:30 because the dog jumped on me and wanted to go outside and do her business. So I did that and then I went to bed. I get a phone call about 7 o'clock in the morning from my friend Rhonda and she says to me, 'Why did you leave without telling me you were going?' And I said, 'What are you talking about?' And she says, 'You were here last night, remember?' And I said, 'What?' She said, 'I was sitting in my kitchen crying because her and her boyfriend,' she told me, 'had broken up. And you had spent the night comforting me.' I said, 'Rhonda, I'm at home. I'm 400 miles away.' She said, 'No, no, no, you're pulling my leg.' She said, 'Now I'm mad at you, you're telling me you don't believe me and you were here.'

Anyway, she moved back to my home city and, get this, I walk into her house to help her move and pack and everything. And when I stepped into her house, I'd never been there before, it was like, Oh my god, I've been here before and every hair on my body, it was like somebody dumped cold water on me. I looked and I was like, I've been here before. And get this, she even said to me, 'Don't you remember that at about 2:30, you had to take Jesse out for her to pee.' So I don't know what that... Was it a ghost story or time travel? And Rhonda and I have talked about it ever since and it's like we can't talk about it because it both sends shivers up our spine.”

Lost Time and Physical Anomalies

Federalsburg, MD - 6/27/2012 - 20:00: We were driving to my mother's house and the small bridge on RT 313 was closed so we turned left and went through the town of Federalsburg. We then turned right trying to find a detour. I had just mentioned how good of time we were making because I looked at the clock it was 8:00. We came upon a very dark wooded area in the road. My mom said 'wow, that is really dark.' That is the last thing either of us remember. Then next thing we knew we looked at the clock, it was 8:30. It literally felt like seconds before it was 8:00! My 21-month-old daughter had been fussy right before the woods, but was now very quiet. The dogs had been panting but were now still and quiet. Everything was eerily quiet! We felt very disoriented and realized we were miles from where we originally were and in the totally wrong direction. Based on my memory and my good sense of direction, and my mother's knowledge of the area it made no sense to be where we were. I then noticed a burning bump in the back of my head behind my right ear. My mother felt very numb and extremely disoriented. We both felt as though we had a sunburn, a hot, tight feeling on our faces. She then noticed a bump in her head in the SAME spot. They looked like fresh needle marks. We drove to my mother's house in Seaford in shock and disbelief of what just happened.

Since being home we have experienced headaches, neck aches, and feeling shaky. However, the swelling behind the ear has gone down on both of us. I was unable to find a mark on my daughter. We are upstanding citizens and this is NOT a hoax! Something very strange happened to us tonight, something we will never forget. We are thankful we had each other to share our experience with because it defies logic. - NUFORC

Giant Squid Washes Ashore in NZ

Three brothers were searching the Wellington coastline for somewhere to dive this morning when they came across a monster squid washed up on a beach.

Daniel, Jack and Matthew Aplin were driving along the track near Red Rocks on Wellington's south coast when they spotted it.

"My brother said 'what's that over there?' and pointed it out," Daniel Aplin said. "It was right next to the track so we pulled over and we were like: 'It's a big squid'." Read more at 'It was definitely a first': Wellington divers discover giant squid on beach
