Aliens in a Queens Cemetery

Ronny in the Bronx in New York called in to tell an account he'd been told:

“Okay, I have this story. It didn't happen to me. This happened to one my mother's co-worker's husband. He was a delivery truck driver and there was a crew of three guys, him and two guys, he was the driver. He said that they had gone to pick-up a delivery in Queens in one of the boroughs because they would deliver to all the boroughs. He said that they pulled up to the building that was on a dead end street and at the end of the dead end street, there was a cemetery. So they were parked looking towards the cemetery.

So one guy hops out of the truck and goes into the building to get the produce to put on the truck. One other guy hops out of the truck and he's smoking a cigarette. Now, the main guy I'm telling you about, the driver, he actually sees a light right at the front of the cemetery at the end of the dead end. He said it was like 4:30 or 5:00 in the morning. And he sees the light and he hops out of the truck and he calls the other guy that was smoking the cigarette, like, 'Do you see this light?' And he's like, 'Yeah,' and he's like, 'Can a car come through there?' And he's like, 'No, no car can come through there because it's a dead end and it's a cemetery'. So they sort of walk up towards the light and they were between the sidewalk and the street and the light went away and the guy said that they saw three beings. He said they saw one standing right in front and there were two behind him. He said that they must have from 6 to 7 feet tall and he said that he heard them say, 'Everything is going to be okay'. And that's all he heard them say. He said he couldn't see them moving their lips. He said they looked to be 6 to 7 feet tall. He said that they were greyish, they looked kind of palish-greyish. He said they could see them through the street lights and then he said that they backed up and they were freaked out and he said that all he could hear them say was that 'Everything was going be okay'. He said he didn't hear them speak. He said it must have been like through his mind or something that he just heard them say that. The guy that was smoking the cigarette was like so freaked out, an ran back to the truck. The light came back and the three beings disappeared. So when the other guy comes out of the building with the produce to put on the truck, these guys are freaked out. They told him, like, 'Yo, we just saw something crazy' and they started explaining it to him and he said, 'Well, you guys must have been seeing things'.

We found out about this story because we had a family reunion and my mother invited her friend and that was her husband. He said he was afraid to tell people this story because he was afraid people would look at him like he was crazy. And he said the other guy saw it too and he said that the other guy, ever since then, was freaked out everytime they passed by that area. After that, the other guy that didn't see anything, he had to drive the truck because the other guys would feel like something was out of wack. I'm telling you, I've known this guy for awhile and this guy is like a normal guy. As normal as a guy could be. He wasn't crazy. He had a normal job, hard working man. I don't know why. He didn't have no reason to lie and he said that the other guy was forever messed up by this thing. He said that they saw this thing and it was crazy to them.”

Another 'Maryland Goatman' Encounter

I came across another 'Goatman' account from Prince George's County, Maryland:

One night about ten years ago me and my best friend decided to stop by a local “hangout” of ours in Bowie, MD to smoke a cigarette before he dropped me off at home. We grew up here and spent our early years wandering the railroad tracks and woods, smoking and drinking as children do. So this one spot is a railroad overpass at 450 and 197. There’s a parking lot and a small area of grass and trees, about 30 foot strip of land separating the tracks and the lot. So it’s nighttime and we decide to go there to smoke a cigarette. We go on the tracks and we’re facing the parking lot, so the overpass and to our left and the tracks go on to our right. This way we’re still barely in the glow from the yellow parking lot lights. Now we’re smoking and he’s talking but the entire time I’m focused to my right, peering down this track because I have the strangest feeling. I didn’t know what it was until later and it was the feeling of being watched by a predator, which I’ve never experienced before. After about two mins we’re almost done our cigarettes a helicopter flies right above us, seemingly at tree level, with the spotlight briefly going right over us coming from the direction of the overpass. Not 5 seconds later I hear the gravel shift from between the tracks and I look towards the overpass.

Standing right in the center of the overpass, there is this GIANT silhouette. Now since it is dark and it’s under the overpass I can only see it’s silhouette. It’s about 8 or 9 feet tall and burly looking. It appeared as if its head was attached to its torso, completely bypassing any semblance of a neck, the way super-jacked dudes look. It was huge and we only looked at it for about a second before I said Let’s go now! Now we we hurriedly starting rushing away and we hear the gravel move closer and not 3 seconds later we both hear the most demonic, horrifying, multiple pitched screech literally right behind our heads. It came from no more than a FOOT BEHIND US. So of course we book it to his car and no we didn’t look back because are you f**king kidding me get real. We get to his car and funny thing his lanyard got stuck around the steering wheel and when we pulled out his keys pulled out of the ignition as he turned the steering wheel. Anyways we drive around for an hour, only thing we could say is “what the f**k” and that’s my encounter with the Goat Man.

Now a week later we’re hanging out with our friend...let’s call him Andy. Now Andy has spent a lot of time in the woods and he was telling us about how last week the cops were out in the woods because they heard screams and thought a woman was being raped. Now I asked him if they had helicopters out and he said yes, and I asked him what day it was and it was the same night we saw the Goat Man. So we told him our experience and he was like yeah that was him.

I’ve spoken to a few others who have actually seen it and give a similar description to mine as well as the picture found online if you search Bowie goatman. - Unvolta - posted on Reddit 'Humanoid Encounters'

NOTE: The 'Maryland Goatman' has been seen off and on for the past 40+ years in Prince Georges County...especially in the areas of Bowie and Laurel. There have also been many Bigfoot sightings as well. Here are a few links:

Huge Bird Encounter in Germany

“I had a big bird experience when I was stationed in Germany. I had crawled across a field in order to establish a forward observation post. I was a good kilometer from our tracked vehicle and well out of sight of any other human. Oddly enough I found a nice hole to crawl into. It wasn't long before I was rewarded with opposition force activity as two M113 armored personnel carriers pulled up about 200 meters in front of me. I observed them from my concealed position for about 30 minutes in which they drove off completely unaware of my position. I sat there a little longer and once I concluded no one else was coming I packed in my night scope in and crawled back to our position in the woods Half way through this journey I stopped for a drink and I don't know if I presented a target or what but, out of the pitch darkness of night swooped this huge bird. Its wingspan had to be six, seven or eight feet in length which scared the living sh*t out of me. I crawled back quickly and told only the facts two tracks on the road that's all.” - Mike Lcml5c

NOTE: I'm not sure if there is an natural explanation, but I have heard of other abnormally sized birds being seen in Germany, Czech Republic and Austria. They are usually described as having bat-shaped wings and referred to as 'Alps'. Lon

Strange Orb / Hag-Like Being

“I’m not concerned people won’t believe me; some will some won’t, but I’ll stick to one that can’t be easily dismissed. Generally I’m a night owl, something I can afford because of my health, but I enjoy going for walks and runs at night on my property, a 2 acre, but the back is mostly unused with a nice hill on it that gives you a view of our property and the neighbors, a carpenter business. There is a large field on the other side and when the moon is out which is common for where we live it illuminates the night well enough that you can see after allowing your eyes to adjust after a few minutes.

One particular night I’m out running up on our trails and as I’m on top of the hill looking over the properties, I can’t remember if I was switching songs on my ipod or just taking a breather, but I’m standing up there looking over both properties. It’s a nice view, so it isn’t uncommon for me to do so. As I’m looking this I notice what appears to be a glowing ball, about slightly larger than a basketball descending from the sky. We’ve had our share of unusual sightings, but never something like this. My immediate thoughts turned to excitement as I believed I was looking at ball lightning. At the time I knew of it and whenever hearing it discussed always had a curiosity and apprehension towards the phenomena. My lucky night then that I’m far enough way that it can’t reach me, but close enough to see it clearly. It descends into my neighbors property, getting about maybe 8 feet from the ground, below the roofline as the buildings are all warehouse sized structures it emits a beam of light, like a flashlight. It’s floating about still very visible shining a light on things as if it was looking for something. It became obvious at this point I was not looking at ball lightning, but more importantly the idea sank in that this thing whatever it was was in fact looking for me, but had gotten the properties wrong. I can’t say why I thought that, but that was the thought that popped into my head at the time. Now some will claim it was flashlights, but I’ve seen flashlights on his property before. Good flashlights, to the point I immediately called the police believing people were breaking into his property. Hilariously the people I’d seen after the call went out were revealed to be the police themselves checking on the place, something they don’t do often. I can tell what a good flashlight looks shining off the buildings, it looks very movie like, but it never casted a light that formed a ball. This ball was also the source of the light as it coned away from the ball and the way it moved reminds me of a drone from a movie. Upon seeing this I bolted for my house and cut my exercise for the night short, but I did something smart, I went and told my brother who was also up what I’d seen. I told him in detail and I can’t remember but I’m fairly certain we both agreed on not going outside to see if it was still there for reasons that would be obvious to anyone reading this. I’m not a fan of people who say they didn’t tell anyone, when I see something weird I tell people.

I’ll tell a second story on the same note, where I saw a hag-like creature in someone’s yard. It’s not a riveting story, my father was driving and I was looking out the window at houses we’ve passed countless times. In one yard something caught my eye; it was black, but not shadowy. It looked like a deformed person, something you’d see maybe in a Lovecraftian tale (I hadn’t read anything of Lovecraft's or even knew of the concept of Eldritch at the time) or something that had been exposed to radiation. It looked like a hideously deformed person. At first I rationalized it must be some decoration, but then the thing moved, before I could figure out what it was we passed by. Immediately I tell my father to turn around that I saw something weird in the yard and I wanted to get a better look at it. It took us maybe 20 seconds to roundabout as it's a rural area, but by the time we got back it was gone. There was nothing that could possibly trick the eye, no where any person could have gone if they were in costume. It was just gone. It was strange, but that was it.” - Kevin

Starbucks MIB

Mike in Oregon called in to tell of his MIB sighting:

“I'm not much of a believer in Men In Black or anything of that stuff, I'm really not. I'm pretty pragmatic. Today (February 15, 2012), at Starbucks, not only did I run into my Gym Creek buddy which kinda freaked me out. But I'm sitting there. We had a nice little conversation. I was reading a book and I just look over and there's this guy walking out the door of Starbucks. He looks like he's about 6'2. He looks like he's about... I'm only catching this from the profile. I didn't see him head on. 6'2, he looked like he weighed about between 135 and 140 pounds. He had a black coat on that went all the way from his neck down to below his ankles. And he had a black hat on. His skin, you know what mat-white color looks like, right? Really bright mat-white. No gloss, just kind of matted down. I caught him. All I saw was in profile, okay? White! White, like there is no red blood cells. And he had white fuzz on his face. And he wore this black hat, a fedora like out of the 40s or 50s or something like that. (Clyde asks where he saw him) I was in Hillsboro (Oregon). Here's the thing that wiped me out about him. I can remember things pretty well. He went in and bought a cup of coffee. He walked out the door and as he's walking up the street and instead of holding the coffee like normally you would, like in close to your body or something like that, he was holding it out in front of him and it looked like... and honest to god, I'm not lying to you, man, it looked like the coffee was dragging him along. It was the most doggone thing. I've never seen anybody carry a cup of coffee like that. You know, it was just so strange. He obviously was in there buying coffee but I didn't see that part of it.”

'Imaginary' Friend

I recently received the following account:

This story was relayed to me by a friend and coworker named Steve. He has no interest in the supernatural or paranormal, his only passions being, in fact, technology and baseball. However, he unwillingly found himself on the end of what he is certain was a ghostly encounter. Steve lives in Fair Lawn, NJ in a three-bedroom home with his two sons and daughter, and this particular story took place around 2005.

The first inkling that Steve and his family were not alone in the house happened later one night after his wife went to bed and his children were asleep. He was sitting on the couch in his living room watching television when his TV suddenly went off. Thinking there was a problem with the cable box, he grabbed the remote and turned it back on. Within minutes it shut off again.

When it happened a third time, he unplugged the TV and box to reset everything. Back then you were supposed to leave boxes unplugged for at least 30 seconds to make sure it reset correctly, so he quickly ran to the bathroom. He came back to a strange scene. The TV was now on with static snow on the screen—but it was still unplugged. After staring at it dumbfounded for a few seconds it went off again and stayed off.

The next unexplainable occurrence happened a couple of weeks later. It was again evening, and again all children were in bed. Steve was sitting in his recliner and his wife was on the couch doing paperwork for work. All of a sudden, he felt a hand grab his shoulder from behind as if someone were reaching over the back of the recliner. Thinking that one of his kids had gotten out of bed and needed something, he turned around only to see nobody. Perplexed, he asked his wife if she had just seen one of the kids downstairs, but she hadn’t. Still startled, he went upstairs to peek in on his kids and saw that they were all still tucked in.

Not long after that, he was in his youngest son’s room reading a bedtime story. His son was four-years-old at the time and this particular story was about friendship. His son said that he had a friend named Jimmy whom he liked to play with. Thinking that he was a friend at daycare, Steve asked him if he played with Jimmy there. His son responded that he played with Jimmy in his room. Believing that his son had his first imaginary friend, Steve turned off the light and said good night.

A couple of days later they were again reading a bedtime story together. The subject of Jimmy came up again and Steve asked if he was having fun with his little friend. “Jimmy’s not little, Daddy, he’s big,” he answered. “He’s right over there,” and he pointed to the doorway to his room. Even though that was slightly unnerving, Steve simply thought that his son was imagining an adult friend and didn’t think much about it further.

One subsequent day Steve was talking outside with his nextdoor neighbor who had lived in the neighborhood for years. While chatting he brought up that his son now had an imaginary friend whom he named Jimmy but it was a bit weird because he was an older imaginary friend. His neighbor then got a quizzical look on his face as Steve could see the gears turning in his head. His neighbor then informed him that a man named Jimmy had lived in Steve’s house with his parents a couple of owners previous. Jimmy was a Vietnam veteran who sadly got cancer not long after returning from his tour, and he passed away not long after that. The neighbor recalled going to the funeral along with many citizens of town and the whole affair was extraordinarily sad.

The neighbor gave a description of what Jimmy looked like and then Steve asked his son what Jimmy looked like. The only match they could make was that both descriptions included a man with brown hair, but without a picture of Jimmy, which they couldn't find, they weren't able to compare any further.

So was Steve’s son’s Jimmy the same Jimmy who had lived in their house and was still hanging around after his death? Was he also the one who caused the shenanigans with the TV and who had grabbed Steve’s shoulder that one night? If so, why did Jimmy visibly make himself known to Steve's son but to no one else in the house? After a while, his son ceased mentioning Jimmy and now, as a teenager, he doesn't even recall having a friend named Jimmy. Whether this was the spirit of the young man who met an unfortunate early departure from this life or not, one thing Steve is sure of is that, for at least a time, there was something very unusual going on in his home. Cascade Locks Bigfoot

Jack from Morgan City, Louisiana called in to tell of his creature sighting he had in the Cascade Locks in Oregon:

“In 1987 we and a friend of ours, her name is Sheila, we talked to her and her brother who had gone up above the Cascade Locks and found some steam vents. And those steam vents, we went up and tried to find them, one weekend of that year (1987) and we couldn't find them. So what we did was we went back and talked to Sheila and she gave us a map. We went back up there with that map and it was a long ways up there and we found them. While we were there, we found those vents and I thought to myself, I wonder how much pressure there is, so I picked up a rock to throw it into the hole to see if it would pop back out and when I picked that rock up... I just got chills thinking about it right now. When I picked that rock up, this tall Bigfoot... Now let me explain how it looked. It snarled, it was nasty. It stepped over a log that I would have had to crawl over and it stood there and growled at us. And I had that rock in my hand and I was getting ready to throw it and I froze. My friend was standing there off to the left of me looking over and that thing snarled at us. It had eyes like a cherry on your cigarette. When I was a kid I had heard stories about this. While we're standing there, my buddy's friend takes off running and it turned its body and followed him but when he got too far, he turned himself to me and looked me in the eye and I'm not kidding, I got the biggest rush I've ever had in my life. I remembered back that the Indians used to say, if you see one and you look him in the eyes, he will steal your soul. (Lewis thinks he may have seen a skinwalker) Well, whatever I saw scared the crap out of me.”

11 Infant Corpses Found in Funeral Home Ceiling

The badly decomposed bodies of 11 infants were found in the ceiling of a former funeral home on Detroit's east side, Detroit police said.

The remains were found late Friday afternoon by state investigators just hours after they received an anonymous letter explaining how to find the bodies carefully hidden inside the false ceiling, Detroit police said.

The bodies had been hidden inside the former Cantrell Funeral Home at 10400 Mack Avenue at Garland, about 10 blocks east of the Indian Village neighborhood. The funeral home was closed by state authorities in April after they found numerous violations of state law.

After the infants' bodies were uncovered, Michigan State Police used a cadaver-trained police dog to search the entire building, but no additional bodies were found, said Detroit police Lt. Brian Bowser.

"We do have names for some of the remains and we're going to try to contact the families," Bowser said.

He said he was unable to say how long the remains had been stored there or how old they were. But he said he was upset "by the callousness" of whoever had placed the remains of infants, some of them apparently stillborn, inside a cardboard box hidden in the drop-down ceiling of a stairwell. Upright Canine Near Camp Pendleton

The following account was recently posted on the Humanoid Encounters Reddit:

In March 2015, I woke up at around 3am. I have no idea why, usually I wake up to drink water or use the bathroom, but I needed neither of those. Anyway, I was living in Southern California at the time near Camp Pendleton and where I lived there was my neighborhood then just wilderness. There was nothing beyond my neighborhood for miles, just land. Just an FYI, I have always been into the supernatural, but I don’t think I really believed it until this experience.

Before I went to sleep I opened my window because it was hot and I had my curtains shades open and pulled up to make sure air was getting in. So, at 3am I woke up and just looked out my window which was next to my bed and I thought I saw someone standing at the cross walk across the street. I was just thinking “that’s so weird” because usually we didn’t have runners or early morning walkers until about 4:45am. So I got up and went to my window so I could get a closer look and what I saw I will never forget.

This thing was standing, but its legs were bent and it had some white fur covering the body, however I could still see some skin. It’s back was hunched over and it’s face looked like some sort of dog’s. If this creature was standing straight up, I’d say that it would be about 7 or 8ft tall. Now mind you this was at 3am so I was just like “wow okay you’re hallucinating go back to sleep”. However, I was literally paralyzed and could not take my eyes off this creature. Its nose and ears just looked so similar to a dogs or some sort of wolf or coyote. Where I lived, coyotes were very prevalent, however they never really came into the neighborhood.

So, as you can tell I was just completely shocked and nervous and as I was about to shut my window the thing turned its head and stared right at me. It was standing directly under a streetlight so I could see its features very clearly and its eyes were so black, but somehow they were shining to where you could really see them staring right into your soul. That did it for me, I slammed my window shut, pulled down the blinds, closed the curtains, and jumped right into bed while pulling the covers over my face. I never went back to sleep that night.

Flash-forward 2 years later, in June of 2017, I again woke up, but this time I was just hungry. So I went downstairs to get some food and sat at my kitchen table. In the chair that I sat, my back was facing the window on the side of the house. This window was about a foot off the ground and it was open about 10 inches because my mom forgot to shut it. Now, that window had no screen because it got torn somehow and we just didn’t get around to replacing it yet. Anyway, I had my earbuds in and was watching a movie or show, I can’t exactly remember, but I heard a noise. I couldn’t tell if it was from the movie or from outside so I paused it and listened.

I then heard heavy breathing, but I have never heard this kind of breathing before and it was coming from directly behind me, right outside the window. The breathing was rough, rigid, and sounded not anything like a human. I was too scared to turn around, but the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up and I had goosebumps everywhere. The breathing lasted for about 2 minutes then I heard heavy footsteps, as if this thing was walking away. After about 10 minutes have passed, I shut the window, locked it, closed the curtains, and ran up to my room.

I told my parents about my first encounter the next day after it had happened, I was 16 at the time and still living with them. They just kind of looked at me and laughed and said I was seeing things and that it was probably just a coyote. After my second encounter, I told them the next day and that time they really thought I was just tired and was hearing things. My question to everyone out there is, have any of you experienced something similar to this? Was this just a coyote or do you guys think that I was hallucinating? It’s been bothering me for a while now and I had to download this app to get my story out there because I cannot deal with no answers. - xommcxo

Lon, Having read many stories on Bigfoot I will add one for you. I was the Undersheriff in Montezuma Co., Colorado and around 1985 I had built a home in a forested area east of Cortez. One evening before dark I heard my dog barking and I knew by the bark he was not happy with something. He was a German Shepherd and a good watch dog. I was upstairs and went out on a small balcony and saw my dog staring at a grove of trees about 50 or so yards away. The hair on his neck was raised and he was growling but acting like he was afraid to go into the trees. I got my gun a .357 mag and went down to where he was.

I then heard a sound I have never heard before a deep guttural type of growling. I have heard bears before and it was nothing like this and my dog I could see was very scared. I then had my wife bring down my shotgun which using slugs and 00 buck shot at close range is very deadly. I waited some time but then the noise stopped as whatever it was must have left.

The next day I went out there to look for tracks but the ground was very hard and I found none. I told this to the game warden and he said there were no bears in our area ever seen. An officer of the Cortez police Dept. told he had encountered about the same thing in Dunton, an old area with a hot bath some distance from Cortez in the San Juan mountains. JK

Vince from Wyoming called in to tell of his ghost encounter:

“This is Vince from Wyoming. I got a ghost story for you. Going across Pennsylvania one time back in the 70s. The truck got awful cold inside. I look over in the passenger seat, there's like an entity sitting there. Very very light shade of white. And that was it. (Art Bell asks if it was humanoid) No, I can't say it was in the form of a human being. It was just something in white was sitting over there in that passenger seat. Yeah, yeah, it didn't bother me. Not at all.”

Oregon Hunters' Frightening Bigfoot Incident

I received a telephone call from a hunter ('SL') this morning who had a frightening encounter last evening (10/10/2018) at approximately 7PM PT.

SL and his friend were deer hunting in a heavily wooded area near Lebanon, Oregon. It was dusk and the pair were on their way out of the woods walking toward their vehicle. Earlier, SL had found an unusual animal skull (pictured below) and decided to take it with him. The skull looks like that of a sheep or goat, and had significant deterioration. SL states it is the first time he had seen anything similar in these deep woods.

As they were walking out of the area, 3 very loud 'whoops' emanated from the dark forest behind them. They could not see anything, but could tell that whatever made the sounds was very close to them. They ran towards the vehicle and quickly exited the area. SL said that he has hunted the area for many years, and that this was the first time he has encountered or heard anything like this. He said that the sound was very deep and guttural, but also threatening.

I asked SL if there were wild goats or sheep in local mountains, which he replied 'no.' He stated that the nearest domestic sheep were located at least 5 miles away, which would not be unusual for a Bigfoot to kill and carry that distance. Is it possible that the skull was part of a collection of 'kill trophies' maintained by a Bigfoot?

I discussed this with my colleague, Fortean investigator Timothy Renner. He states that in reported Bigfoot activity areas that he has been investigating in south central Pennsylvania, he has seen more and more animal skulls displayed...in particular Whitetail Deer and Raccoon skulls. Many times, the skulls are placed on tree and stick structures that can be easily seen by passersby.

St.Louis Strangeness: Protective Spirit?

I recently received the following account:

Hi Lon,

The following is an experience I had along with a few friends in St. Louis, Missouri in 2013 or 2014.

A couple of friends and I were taking the train downtown to the Cardinals game. The train was crowded as it often is when the Cardinals play, and I think it was a weekend because I remember the platforms being pretty crowded too.

We were standing on the train right next to a large window, and as the train began to slowly pull away from the Central West End station, one of us pointed out, through the window, an older African American gentleman wearing what I'd describe, for lack of a better term, as "classic pimp attire"- a baggy suit, a big fur coat, a huge hat, several large gold chains, etc. If I recall correctly, he was walking with a cane too. Growing up in St. Louis, it wasn't incredibly uncommon to see something like that, but it was definitely uncommon enough that he stood out and was noteworthy. Aside from his attire, nothing seemed unusual about him. We never saw him on the train, just on the platform walking towards the exit as we pulled away.

The train pulls away and a few minutes later we arrive at the next station, Grand Ave (the city has since added another station between Central West End and Grand, but at the time, Grand was the next stop). The train stops at the platform and idles for a minute or two as people get on and off the train. As I said, both the train and the platform were pretty crowded. Just as the doors close and the train is ready to leave, we notice the exact same man who we saw at the last stop. This time, though, he's standing directly outside our window and staring blankly right at us. We were probably in total 8 feet away from each other and separated by just a window. The trains pulls away from the station very slowly at first, so it was probably a good 10 seconds or so of direct eye contact. We had not noticed him standing there until the train was leaving, despite having been at the station for a minute or two.

At the time, we all thought it was pretty weird, because it was definitely 100% the same guy and there is no way that guy could've beaten the train from one station to the next. As I said, the first time we saw him, the train was already in motion, so it's impossible that he got on the train. The train moves quickly, faster than the streets for sure, so there's really no way he could've travelled from one station to the next by any conventional means. We were stumped for sure, but all thought it was kinda funny and didn't think too much about it.

Eventually we made our way to the ballpark and attended the game. After the game ended, we decided to walk to an area where the bars are.

From the stadium it is about a 10-15 minute walk to where we were going, through downtown. At night, downtown St. Louis is not exactly bustling, but there are still some people about, going to restaurants or bars, etc. There are obviously more people around before and after Cardinals games. Downtown has a lot of tall buildings so there are a bunch of smaller streets and alleys were you can't see very far in front of you.

We were walking down a smaller street like this, not far from the bars we were going to, when we heard something behind us. We turn around to see what looks to be the same guy from the train stations walking about 50 feet behind us. He sees us looking at him and kind of smiles and waves his hand and says something like, "You boys be careful." We all kind of smiled back and said thanks, and turned to keep walking. Just a few seconds later, as we approached the next intersection the old guy behind us shouts something that didn't sound like English. I know some French and Spanish and I don't think it was that either. But just as he shouted, a horse and carriage (these are also common in downtown, they're mostly for tourists) crossed right in front of us from the intersection. It seemed like it came out of nowhere. As it went by I looked at the carriage driver and it was a guy with a hoodie on. For a split second I thought he may not have had a face. But it happened so quickly, that I assume that was just my imagination playing tricks on me.

Nobody really thought about it until we got to the bar, but once we sat down and had a moment to think about it, everyone was like, wait, what the hell just happened?

We still talk about it and joke about it every now and then. But I don't think group ever really admitted just how strange it all was. It definitely seemed like the old man was trying to protect us, and basically, he kept appearing. I can't figure out how he could've gotten from one station to the next, or why he was looking at us at station 2. And when we met him again in the street, he seemed to just be there.. It's not likely that he had been behind us for very long, because we would've noticed. It's a pretty long walk and you're stopping and waiting to cross the street several times. We would've seen him behind us at some point. Like I said, the faceless man thing could've been my imagination, but that carriage definitely went right by us out of nowhere, and it all seemed connected at the time.

So, I don't know. I've seen some strange things around St. Louis, which is a very old city with lots of history. I'm not sure what exactly to think, but I'm not ruling out any possibilities.
