Strange Cat Tales
“I've had strange cat experience I like to tell people because it's so unusual. One day while walking home late at night the same road I walk down every-night. Two cats walked up to me and started meowing at my feet wanting attention, so I stroked them because it's sometimes irresistible. They were being very engaging with me rubbing up against my legs and meowing like cats do. After a short while of playing with them I looked up and saw a large amount of cats, must have been about 50 no exaggeration. Everywhere I looked there was a cat, some sitting together on the short walls outside the houses, some more engaging at my feet, some stayed back on the curbs. I was just completely surrounded by cats! And as I looked down the road, there were more cats walking up the road towards me. None of these cats looked like wild tabby cats. Ones I could see had collars so they were domestic. Which makes it strange because these cats are territorial and should be fighting with each other but not one cat fight took place they were all getting along. I tried taking photos as it was an amazing sight to see but they all came out blurry but that could be blamed on the poor night light.” - Tommy The Cat In A Vr Hat

We kept talking, neither of us moving and when he came back from the same direction we both commented on how weird it was. He even came along the same path, which differs slightly from the norm. But this isn’t the only example of repetition... in common parlance it is ‘a glitch in the Matrix ‘. 'Demon' Playing the Organ
Candy from Sacramento called in to tell of a strange sighting she had:
“My name is Candy and I'm calling from Sacramento. Well my story is a pretty scary one. I haven't told many people this throughout my lifetime. I'm 36 now. I remember the weather was hot so it must have been around June or August in the summer months. I was in the sixth grade and the family was on vacation. I was at home. I didn't go with them. Where they went to, I can't remember that now but grandpa stayed with me and he was in the living room and I was coloring at the dining room table. And I had one of these old organs in my room and down the hallway I could hear this music coming from the organ and I knew I didn't leave it on. And it didn't play by itself. It was beautiful yet eerie.
I kept coloring and I thought, 'Well, it's gonna end anytime soon but it kept going' and I got more curious about it so when I went down the hallway there was this chill in the air and grandpa had told me a couple of months previously that if I were to ever encounter anything scary just to call on the name of Jesus and everything would be alright. I was getting scared by the moment as I kept walking up the hallway to my room. And I called on the name of Jesus but it didn't go away. I got so close to the doorway that the music was blasting my ears. What happened was, I didn't know what to do and I didn't want to go back and get grandpa because I thought I could handle this by myself. When I turned into this doorway real fast-like, there was this thing that I can't describe to anybody but I've drawn pictures of it. (Art Bell asks if it looked like a person) No, it was unearthly. I have no formal description of how to put into words what it looked like but it was red. It was glowing. And it...it...it must have been a demon that I saw. (Art asks if she could make out arms and legs) Yes, and it was using its hand-like fingers on my organ player and it looked straight at me with yellow eyes. It was the most unbelievable, indescribable being and I'm shaking right now. But... but, it challenged me at the age of six years old. So it... I said in the name of Jesus Christ be gone, I command you! And it lifted its head up like it had never been told this before and just vanished.”

Possible 'Skinwalker' Accounts
I recently found the following strange accounts:
I live in a suburban neighborhood with lots of large trees. Even before too late in the day, it gets pretty dark and moody. My mom sent me on an errand once to stop by a friend’s house down the street and pick up some things. The route takes me through a stretch of road that has some parked cars on either side of the street. It was 6, early evening.
About 15 minutes into my walk, I saw a little kid (not sure if it was a girl or boy) riding a bike in my direction from the opposite end of the road. I also happened to see that sitting by one of the parked cars ahead of me was a skinny, black dog. It was large and slender looking, like a greyhound, but also shaggy. The dog just seemed to be sitting there, looking in the kid’s direction. It didn’t seem to have noticed me, so I just walked forward to fulfill my errand.
It wasn’t until I was some 10-15 feet away that I realized something was not right with this animal. It remained seated on its haunches, but it was now very clear to me that its back legs were much too long for its body --- folded in an unnatural way. But more disturbing than that was what it was doing with its front paws. This is something I will never forget seeing.
The dog’s forelegs were positioned in front, where they should have been, but I stopped in my tracks when I realized that the paws were patting the ground in unison. Kind of like the way you feel for lost keys in a blanket. The dog seemed to be drumming the ground in anticipation...or excitement. Or it was pretending to be a dog with its paws on the ground. And it was looking at this clueless child heading its way.
I must have made some sort of sound even as I was frozen in place because the patting stopped, and this thing slowly got up on its back legs and stood up, like a man. It was easily 6 feet tall, maybe more. I turned around and began to sprint home. I had my back to it, but I knew it was looking at me now. So I just got out of there. To this day, I don’t know what happened to the little kid. johnamorTK

This happened about 18 years ago. Damn I feel old. But I was living with my grandmother on the Navajo reservation. Her house was between two know unmarked cemeteries. Anyways, one night she was out at bingo and my cousin Matt was in charge of watching me that night. I was in the back of the house watching tv when the dogs began to howl soon after I heard a thud on the roof. Confused and freaked out I jumped up and backed away from my window and listened. The dogs were going ballistic outside (howling, growling and barking) that’s when I had enough and started to walked towards the front of the house where the living room and Matt were located. Whatever was on the roof began to mirror my movement and was following me directly above. I bolted to the living-room and yelled at Matt! He turned off the tv and we listened....something was walking in circles on the roof and wanted us to know it was there. Matt being a traditional native began to pray. After a few minutes of torment, matt instructed me to follow him outside onto the porch. At this point matt yelled at the thing to leave. Whatever it was ran towards the back of the house, jumped off and landed with a loud audible thud and began running towards the neighbors trailer. The neighbors horses got uneasy and began freaking out in their stables. Meanwhile, the neighborhood dogs were in pursuit. They followed it east and down the trail out of earshot. Hands down the most terrifying skinwalker experience of my life. nezzzzd88

So last night me and my wife were traveling back from the Grand Canyon to Texas and decided to drive through the night. We ended up going through the Gila national forest between 11pm and 2am I think. We saw lots of wildlife throughout the night but we expected this and just drove extra cautiously. Well between 12am and 1am we came around a turn and were met with what looked like 3 black panthers with glowing yellow eyes that seemed to pierce through your soul. It’s hard to explain unless you were there to see it. It happened very quick but as soon as we pasted them we both said what the fuck was that. It was very strange because even with the bright lights of the car shining directly on them they still looked dark as night and all you could see was the outline of them and those soul piercing eyes. They did not move an inch and just stared right into our eyes. It was very scary and we tried to play it off as wolves or something but after doing some research I’m not sure what we saw. Any insight would be greatly appropriated. This is my first post but I have to find out more. I can’t get those eyes out of my head. flubabluba

Deadwood's Phantom Dentist
Darren in Colorado called to tell of the haunted radio station he used to work at:
“When I was in college, I worked at one of the most haunted radio stations in America. I didn't know that when I took this job. I was an overnight DJ at a classic rock station. It was K-SKY Radio in Deadwood, South Dakota. The address, believe it or not, dead serious, was 666 Mainstreet, Deadwood. We thought it was a portal for ghosts because of the strange address in Deadwood, South Dakota...666 Mainstreet. But everybody that worked at that radio station knew about a ghost named 'Not Smiley.' He was a dentist from the 1880s to the 1920s in Deadwood and he had an old practice at the location of the radio station, on the second floor or where the radio station was located. We were located right across from the Number 10 Saloon where Wild Bill Hickock was shot and killed by Jack McCall, you know, in the 1800s. There was a lot of history in that town...a lot of people met untimely deaths in Deadwood, South Dakota. That's why I think there were a lot of ghosts in that town, too. And one of them used to hang out at the radio station and do crazy things at night.
You remember the old AP teletype machines? One night we were there and the dentist office was converted into a newsroom and through double paned glass, we saw a man standing there in old west garb. We thought that was pretty strange, as we walked around the corner and nobody was there. He was gone. And then another time we were working there, for whatever reason, whenever we played Led Zeppelin’s 'Whole Lotta Love', things would kinda kick up at that radio station. Crazy things would happen. We would have clocks on the wall would turn upside down. The old cards that we used to play that had commercials on them, we'd find them stacked weird, or turned upside down. Just all kinds of stuff. Remember how we used to stack those? Well, they would be all changed around as soon as you walked out of the room and came back. So it was just crazy things like that used to happen when you worked overnight at that radio station.
Through the corner of your eyes, you'd see dark figures walking down the hall, doorways would creak and slam by themselves. One night I was working late during a blizzard and about 3:30 in the morning I heard a really loud demonic roar come from down the hallway, so I thought it was one of my friends playing a trick on me. I went running down the hall to see what, if I could catch him. I walked down the stairs, I looked out the door and there was no tracks or anything in the snow, so I knew that nobody else was at the station other than me, so it kinda freaked me out the rest of the night.”

New Jersey Park 'Troll'
I recently came across the following account:
This is an encounter my girlfriend and her friend had a few years ago...not mine personally. I've heard her tell this story a few times before, but after recently hearing them together describe what they saw, I thought maybe you guys would enjoy it. Maybe someone has seen something similar.
This encounter happened in Lakewood, NJ a few years back. It was mid-day sometime in September. My girlfriend and her friend used to jog together regularly at local parks. The park they were at this particular day is called Lake Carasaljo, which butts up to a housing development. The trail they were on loops around the lake and 3/4's of trail is basically just a normal paved sidewalk that follows a road, but eventually turns to dirt and through a small wooded area on the far side of the lake, the other 1/4 of the trail. Mind you, this place is far from being remote, it is New Jersey after all.
While jogging through the wooded part of the trail they came upon a creepy humanoid-looking figure on the edge of the trail that stopped them both in their tracks. They both keep referring to this thing as 'troll-like.' It was short, maybe 4 ft tall at most. It was dressed in a long black-hooded cloak hunched over sitting on wooden chest...yes, a wooded f**king chest! Exactly the kind you'd imagine a troll to be sitting on. They said they could not see any face at all because its head was directed at the ground and the hood was too long. But what they did notice was the cloak was short enough to see part of its legs and was wearing what looked like regular flesh colored stockings and had very small clubbed feet. Its legs had large protruding boils or tumor like lumps on the exposed area. It was wearing blue gloves too.
Terrified, they eventually made their way past this thing coming only a few feet from it, hoping it wouldn't jump out at them. They got the hell out of there faster than they've ever ran before. It didn't say anything or try to cause them any harm. It just sat there hunched over. They thought at first maybe it's just a mannequin or something someone put there as a joke but they noticed hand movement right before they passed it. Needless to say they have never gone back to this lake ever again. Everytime my girlfriend talks about this encounter I can hear the fear in her trembling voice and was obviously somewhat traumatized by the encounter. Even though I geek out about these types of stories all the time, she has absolutely zero interest in any of these types of things. She will roll her eyes or shake her head and tell me I'm crazy when I tell her about a cool story of Bigfoot or aliens or whatever that I read about, trying to peak some interest in her on these types of subjects. However she continues to want nothing of it.
I'm a very open-minded person when it comes to this stuff. I can't say I believe in anything cause I've never had a convincing encounter aside from hearing a few strange sounds in the woods I couldn't explain. I always ask myself, is it possible creatures/aliens/Bigfoot exist? The answer is usually, yes. But then again, someone just playing a prank to mess with people is extremely more logical sometimes, especially in a place like New Jersey.KungFulias

'Hat Man' Harbinger
Nedra wrote to tell of a strange sighting she had in 2003:
“Early October, 2003, we were on a quest, painting the entire inside of our home. We went to bed exhausted every night of the week. One night I woke up with a jolt. To my right, there were three shadow 'hat men' standing against the wall, side by side. The room was dark but the shadow men were darker. I couldn't see any details. They were made of a thick substance. They were not flat shadows on the wall. I couldn't move my body but I could move my eyes. They were all different heights, with the tallest in the middle, at maybe 7 feet tall. Their hats looked like slightly mashed top hats. Dread overwhelmed me. It was encompassing. It felt like the room was full of evil.
As this dread filled my body, I instantly started to pray. I asked God to cover our bed with a dome of white light and I thanked him for protecting us. I'm not sure how long I felt paralyzed in bed but the shadow hat men didn't move. They just stood there watching me. Next thing I remember, they just seemed to fade into the wall. When I could move, I woke my husband and he, of course, said he had had a bad dream. I couldn't go back to sleep, but before morning, I was overcome with the terrible sad feeling that something ominous was going to happen. More than ever, I prayed that my family would be protected. I couldn't shake this feeling, this horrible horrible feeling.
Two weeks later I had my first attack from an autoimmune disease that I was later diagnosed with. I lost my vision and the entire right side of my body went numb. I couldn't walk without help and I looked as if I had had a stroke. A week after that, my sister-in-law fell, broke her pelvis and we believe accidentally overdosed on pain medication and died. It was the worst month of my family's life. I feel like the shadow hat men were a terrible sign of something foreboding. I've never seen them again nor have I felt that overwhelming sense of dread.
I still have an autoimmune disease and, on occasion, I relapse. For the most part, I'm doing well. I can see, walk, talk etc. In 2010 my husband had the opportunity to speak with a psychic who told him that, yes, things are good in our home but to cleanse our home with sage and to rid our home and lives of clutter. We've done this and I really feel that sage helps every few months just in case something else lurks our way. I never want another encounter with the shadow hat men again. I feel they come with evil.”

Sasquatch Speaks...'No Danger'
I recently came across the following account:
Well, this story is a very personal one, and a very long one, so I appreciate the time you're going to take reading this. Just to be clear, the story you're about to read is 100 % real, it happened to me and I remember it like it was yesterday but it actually happened 25 years ago. I was born July 14th, 1958. So at the time of this tale I was 33 years old, and it happened on August 28th. My dad would always take me and my brother Jeremiah hunting and fishing, so that custom stayed with me forever.
That day, August 28th, 1991, I was hunting in Jackson Demonstration State Forest in Mendocino County, California, with my brother Jeremiah. it was a little bit difficult to pattern the deer because of the water, the area is extremely thick with lots of young growth. Two hours had passed and we only had four rabbits in our hunt so we started to think about getting out of there but we stayed for one more hour just to make it worth our while. When we finally agreed that it was time to go, we heard something coming from behind us, it was a loud scream, not a human scream, an animal scream. But it wasn't of an animal we've ever heard before, so we decided to go back and look for the source of those screams.
As we approached the site, we noticed that there was nothing there, we started to search the area, but as we were doing that I felt the presence of someone, and I instantly felt observed. I turned around looking for someone or something and I found something in the distance, hiding behind some trees. I didn't called my brother, as I felt it was nothing important but when I almost reached the trees, I saw a heavily hairy man running across. I grabbed my .22 rifle and followed the footprints left behind by the hairy man. After some three minutes of following I finally caught the thing that left those enormous footprints. He was like 30 feet away from me. I hid as best as I could and he didn't see me but he certainly heard me cause he looked around and started making some weird noises, as if he was trying to communicate. I wasn't sure if I should step away from my hiding spot and make contact with this beast, but I finally decided to do so.
I stood up and pointed my rifle towards him, slowly approaching until I was just 15 feet away. Looking at him, I noticed he was like 8 to 9 feet tall, he had a reddish hair that covered him almost completely. Just part of his face and hands had no hair. I also noticed he had some white hairs in his torso. He just looked at me and stood there, making weird noises, but suddenly he mouthed the word "no danger" very slowly, almost unintelligible and pointed at himself. At this time, I lowered my rifle and kept looking at him. The nervous expression on his face had disappeared and he started walking deep into the forest. I turned around and started looking for my brother, still shocked. When I found him he was very worried. I told him what happened and he told me that he saw one too, a female sasquatch with her baby in hands. I'm not sure but it was very possible that the Sasquatch I found was the mate of the one my brother found and the little baby sasquatch was their brood.
When we were making our way back to the road, I looked back and I swear I saw him in the distance, observing us as were leaving. We never talked about this to anyone, but my brother contacted me recently with another story of Sasquatch that I may share with you some other time, and because of that and this story I became very intrigued about this subject. So I thought I share this story with some people.
Here are some things about the Sasquatch I encountered that I remember:
- He had reddish hair and white hairs in his torso.
- Had a deep voice but was capable of screaming very high.
- His footprints were like 18 inches long and 9 or 10 inches wide.
- He also had very big hands but looked very similar to those of a human, just more hairy.
- He had hair in his face that formed some kind of beard, and he also had some hair in his forehead but his skin was more or less light colored.
- Wide nose, wide lips, he looked like a hybrid human/ape. Almost like a Homo Erectus or a Neanderthal.
- He looked very muscular.
- He could not stand completely straight long.
- He had a somewhat clumsy way of walking but he certainly ran pretty fast.
- He had some kind of... language that was reminiscent of human languages.
- He knew some words of english language.
- He was a peaceful being. Darryl_M58

The Cats From the Woods
“My dad got mad and kicked me out one night. It started getting cold so I slept against a barn. I woke up to something touching my leg. It was a cat. Well, it slept against me. Then five more came from the bushes in the woods and crawled up and slept on me, keeping me warm. One of the cats went back into the bushes and started bringing her kittens out and placing them on my lap, like four of them so I was covered by cats and kittens. Next day I got up and started leaving. The girl cat carried her kitten with her and when I got home she had followed me and placed it on my doorstep. I gave her milk and went in. The cat started scratching and making noises until I came out. When I did, she picked up the cat and brought her to me and walked away. I kept the kitten and the mamma cat would sit on my outside window sill and look in the home watching us. Then, when I'd come out, she'd leave.
The kitten got big enough to go out and I'd let her but she never left the front yard. The mamma would come and lick her and then go back to the woods. I don't know what it was but the kitten didn't meow or anything. It would make a sound that sounded like my name, 'Wade.' Then it would use its paw to tap me if it wanted anything. The cat lived two years and then walked out to the woods where it walked off with the cat that looked like it's mamma. I hadn't seen it in two years and it left forever.
The next morning there was a scratch on the door and a kitten was there. It looked close to my old cat and in the bushes was the old mamma cat looking. I picked it up and it (mamma) walked off. Two years later, I see the old cat or one really close to it on the window sill but it would leave when I come out. Is this weird or do cats bring more to you like storks? The kitten didn't meow but made the 'Wade' sound also and it would tap me also. She slept in same spot even though I got her a new bed in another room, she'd crawl, dragging my old cats blanket to my dresser and place it on it and sleep. Weird or what? Another thing that's important I forgot is that it would get my attention and look me in the eyes and hold it there like it wanted me to know something so bad but couldn't tell me. It hid my keys when I used to drink like it didn't want me to drive. It hid my cigarettes because, I guess, it did not want me smoke. She'd place them in litter box that she hated to use. She would go on the little flower bed by the front door, same as the other they were like twins almost reincarnated. That's best way to say it, it was like the same cat and it wanted me to know it never left. She would put a picture I had of the old cat and me on the couch and I'd put it on the counter and she'd move it back until I put it on dresser where she slept and she was so so happy.... I never saw anything like it.

Men in Black 'Hitman'
I recently came across the following account:
In the year 1999 my father was a taxi driver in North Dakota. In case you don't know 1999 was a scary year (Y2K) for hippies like my father. He and many others thought that the computers would reset everything to the year 1900 instead of 2000, and we would have to restart with old technology. He was preparing for the worst the whole year and my mother told him to stop because it was a stupid idea, but he wouldn't listen to her. He always thought the government was after him and watching him which made him even more paranoid.
He told me that in December of 1999 he thought he started seeing a stalker. A man who wore a black suit, a black tie, and a dark brown fedora. It was always at 8 am when he started work so he blew it off for awhile and thought maybe he was just on his way to work as well. That is, until he hailed my dad's taxi. It was less than a week before New Years and the man hailed his cab. My dad said he walked slower than a normal person did and had no facial features, as in no scars, blemishes, or discoloration in his face. He was about 5 foot 10 and had a high-ish pitched voice. He also had a briefcase handcuffed to his hand.
He got in the back seat on the drivers side and said "292nd Avenue, floor it." and handed him 500 dollars. My dad said it would have not even been close to a 500 dollar drive and insisted not to take all $500. The man said "You will need it soon, Patrick." as calmly as a human being could talk. My dad said he was flipping his sh*t at how he knew his name and how crazy the situation was. My dad tried to make small talk on the way there but the man just looked straight ahead at the road and never said a word.
He arrived at the road to find it was in the middle of absolutely no where. My dad kept driving until the man whispered "stop." The man said nothing as he slowly got out and started walking into the field. My dad looked at the man to see his briefcase handcuffed to his left hand, and a revolver in his right. My dad peeled out and kept looking to make sure the man never tried to shoot him, but he didn't. The man never stopped walking, looked, or changed his pace. Nobody believed my dad when he told them and tried to forget it.
New Years 2000 came and he never needed the money. The world didn't end, and he had a lot of canned food for nothing. He forgot until this year, when we were going to see a ghost town this summer on our way back from vacation. Google said to take the very same road he took the man on and he told me to stop the car. I did as he asked and pulled over. He told me this story and demanded we drive away and never go anywhere near there again. The man was never seen again by my father and I have no idea of this man's intentions. dhs1976

Warrensburg, NY - 2018-07-17 - 21:30: I was at Echo Lake meeting up with some friends drinking and having a good time. I was the first one there. Everything was eerily silent. You could have heard a pin drop. That's when something caught my attention. About 70 feet away is this humanoid creature. It's about 4-5 feet tall, skinny as hell, and naked. It's so white it's almost glowing. It's just staring at me. Like neither of us should be here. I can't move, I can't scream. I just stare. Then I heard some rustling in bushes behind me and I quickly turn and brace for a fight. I see another one of them things moving away from me. Then I turn and see the other one is gone. Now I don't know if that was the same one and they just move super fast or what but it sure spooked the hell out of me. Large, aggressive mosquitoes swarm N.C. city after Florence
A North Carolina city dealing with fallout from Hurricane Florence has been swarmed by aggressive mosquitoes nearly three times larger than regular mosquitoes. One resident, Robert Phillips, describes their rise as "a bad science fiction movie."
North Carolina State University entomology professor Michael Reiskind told The Fayetteville Observer that Florence's floodwater has caused eggs for mosquito species such as the Psorophora ciliata to hatch. These mosquitoes, often called "gallinippers," are known for their painful bite and often lay eggs in low-lying damp areas.
The eggs lie dormant in dry weather and hatch as adults following heavy rains. Reiskind said the state has 61 mosquito species, and "when the flood comes, we get many, many billions of them."

Soldier and His Dog
Donna called to tell of her ghost sighting:
“I have been a paranormal investigator for over thirty years and today I saw my first apparition as I was going down a side road to come to my home. It was soldier in full uniform and he had a big dog next to him and they were just standing there waving and I stopped to see the dog and I turned around and they were gone. And that is my paranormal investigation site. That was my first apparition I ever saw. It was very exciting. Chills up the spine. It was great.”
