You Were There
When I cried, you were there beside me to wipe my tears.
When I laugh, you were there beside me admiring me.
When I wanted to hug you, you have been my pillow.
When I wanted to lean, you have been my shoulder.
When I was sad, you were there to give me happiness.
You spoke to me through the wind and you have been guiding me.
When I walked alone you were there beside me as a shadow.
But when I wanted your love, you were lost in the darkness,
And I still believe that your love is with me, and I will fulfill your desire.

Importance of Feedback
Feedback for many of us is something negative. But feedback can be really useful for effective living.
1) THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF FEEDBACK
Of course there is negative feedback and positive feedback. Positive feedback is really what everyone wants to hear. “You are doing well, just keep doing it and you will reach for the stars.” Such kind of feedback really helps a person and so they are able to do more with their life. But negative feedback can make a person miserable, if you are emotional then you certainly will be unhappy with the feedback, but don’t be. Negative feedback can help a person do something about his life. Hard reality will be shown to him by feedback.

2) ON COURSE, OFF COURSE,
Feedback can tell two things. One, it can tell whether you are on course or off course. This can be really helpful. If you receive a feedback and it says that you are on course then you can continue with the same plan, but if you receive an off course feedback then it is time to think about you current plan and change it accordingly.
3) WAYS OF RESPONDING TO FEEDBACK
THAT DON’T WORK
First of all there are many ways of responding.
A) Caving in and quitting
This is very simple. If you don’t like the feedback and you are emotionally challenged , then you are certainly going to cave in and quit.
B) Getting mad at the source of the feedback
Another way to respond is to get really mad at feedback. Sometimes, we don’t want a particular person to say anything to us, and so we ,get really mad at them even if they give us a positive feedback.
c) Ignoring the feedback
Another way is to simply ignore the feedback and do nothing about it. This is very common practice.
4) ASK FOR FEEDBACK
Always ask for feedback. “Say in a scale of 1 to 10 how is our relationship?” You can ask that to your wife. And she will give you a number and you can work on it. This method can be used in every situation. Whether it is relationship or your health you can ask this question.
PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE
It is cold in the soul
When passed through the church hole
Haunted one, century old
Where myths frequently told
That spirits roam about
The place were once lava was forged
It still exits underground
It is not clear why
Because ghosts do cry
And graves do open at night
Were vampires are afraid of light
And owls hoot with a sight
Which makes the mice fright
Were wolfs eyes are bright.
Were ravens fly about
Singing a dirge
Rest in peace
To sleeping souls
And bones broken from its joints.
It has a clock, which shows
Nine. Everyday morning
When I pass through the church
Were the old haunted mansion
Stands with a will
Singing a song which
Makes me sad
By the trees might and tall
Worries me about
The past, present and future of us all.
(Wrote this in 10th standard, basically the inspiration came from Stephen Church, but poem is close to my heart)
BLOOD THIRSTY WORLD
My heart is filled with elation
When I ride on a pony, it is an illusion
I feel the air fill my ears it is a sensation
The music in air, which is played for redemption.
The mountains mimic what I say
I am esteemed by what I do today
For life is a mirror I see everyday
We are rewarded by I and thy deeds of yesterday.
Vanity is skin why become beautiful
For pride and glory people duel
Rainbow will turn bloody red colourful
Verily if this world stays so awful
To be good there is only one thing to spare
Prompt peace and brotherhood every where
Every mortal in this world must swear
That love and kindness must be the watchword.
(My old poems, wrote them back in school. Maybe in 10th, feeling nostalgic)
The falls
It act along with mother
where it, dwelled in for long
dives without her
like baby come along.
It dives without mother
with the song of life, for long
of brave and courage,as the mother
not to step-off but to run along.
Brave and courage the song,
that make beauty and life an art
it wants the knight with song
to knew the beauty of art.
Though you fall,make your heart,
surely you will be thought.
Right Attitude + Specific skills+ Golden rule Philosophy+ character= Complete Success
“Each of us will one day be judged by our standard of life, not by our standard of living; by our measure of giving, not by our measure of wealth; by our simple goodness, not by seeming greatness.”
1) Right Attitude
It entirely depends on the place you are looking at. When a person has a great Attitude, he can look at every failure and find something good in it. For example, when Edison was trying to invent the bulb, he had so many failures, but he did not count the failures, but he looked at it alternatively. Right Attitude is the key to success. To develop right attitude look at the circumstance, and find out the good thing about the situation and embrace it. And no matter what happens it will all come to the right attitude.
2) Specific Skills
Attitude is great, but without skill we can only go a little distance. Skills must be developed if one is to be really successful. If one is a salesman, he must practice salesmanship and he must constantly read books on sales and marketing. And with a right attitude he will truly be a winner.
3) Golden Rule Philosophy:
The golden rule philosophy is simply helping other people get what they want and you have everything you want in life. Because in the end it is not about spending selfish ambition, but really giving something for the society which will make all the difference in the world.
4) Character
Without character there is no hope for a man. A man might have great riches but if he doesn’t have character there is no point in it. Integrity and Honesty are the most important virtues in the business world. And when a person has the right attitude+ specific Skills+ Golden Rule Philosophy, and character, he is truly a winner.

Change is the first step for change!
1) Decision
Decision can be life changing. But many of us are afraid of change. Basically we are afraid of the pain change can bring. The fear of disappointment crawls and consumes the person. So be strong, and do whatever you can to live the life of your dream. Create your own philosophy and live it out for the best.
2) Beginning is difficult, end is a breeze
Rockets consume a lot of energy when they take off, but when they leave the atmosphere they consume very less fuel. This is the same way change is, at first it will be difficult, and then it will be easy.
3) Commitment to change:
Commitment is a promise one makes to oneself that no matter what happens, do or die –they will not rest until they achieve.

The Old Clock
One day when a boy
reached his house
after a small
morning chill-out.
he heard a small
tick,tick
tick,tick
near his room.
that seemed like
a tick,tick
tick,tick
of a wearied-out clock.
It said him,I
alarmed the person`s
with my run earlier
but,I got wearied-out now.
when I was young
they kept me at center
used to see me
often by seconds,to run.
now,they had thrown
me off,from center
from hand and from memory.
be careful and watchful.

Go the extra mile to be super successful!
Does extra works tire you? Actually it is being proactive that makes successful men and women. Doing more than what one’s paid for is very essential to success.
1) GO THE EXTRA MILE
In any job, go for the extra mile. Many people have become amazingly successful because they went the extra mile. They didn’t expect more salary and all the other things. But because of going the extra mile they got a reputation for hard work and this helped them land into great jobs.
2) GIVE MORE THAN PEOPLE EXPECT
When we give more than expected we earn other people’s respect and admiration. Once IBM staff was not feeling well and so the company took him in a private jet to his house. The company was not obligated to do such a thing, but they went the extra mile anyway. No wonder IBM is one of the great companies in the world.
3) WHY GO THE EXTRA MILE?
The answer is quite simple. Going the extra mile will establish the person as trustworthy and hard worker. Many hotel managements go the extra mile. When a person asks for a certain place, the staff doesn’t just tell the way, but he/she will walk them to the spot. This is truly a success principle. So decide today to go for the extra mile.

Channel 000 – Short Story by Ron Hadrian
He was my brother. He was completely an antithetical to me. I didn’t smoke, didn’t steal nor did I speak vulgar language. He on the other hand did everything. He didn’t work often. He was not lucky with any job. Every job he took lasted for only three weeks. Then he got a job and he came home late every night.
I didn’t care about him or about his job. But I was irked at his new behaviour. He switched on the television at exactly 1 ‘o clock at night and put it in mute. Then he put an unknown channel. The channel name was 000. There was only one scene in that channel that repeated. It was always about a boy who watched television and another boy who peeked through the other door. I couldn’t see their faces. This struck me odd, but I didn’t bother about it. Then on a certain Sunday I woke up at 1’o clock. I heard someone speaking, and I peeked to see who it was. And it was the same scene but I could hear the words. “He is peeking through the door right now- kill him now.”
My brother’s bloody eyes looked directly at me. He got up and came towards my room. I jumped up and said, “Don’t do it Sam! Don’t do it! ”
“Hey Bruce wake up man, you are having a nightmare!” my brother was seated next to me and he switched on the lights.
I sat quite. What a terrible dream I had, gosh. Then Sam said, “You dreamt about me.”
“Yes,” I said slowly. And from the other room I heard someone say, “Yes.” I pushed the door and say myself on the TV and my brother was seated near me. He placed the gun on my head and said, “See yourself die, brother.” And I saw myself die.
