Life is a daring adventure

Life is a daring adventure or nothing.

Helen Keller

Sometimes we are simply frightened –the future looks dismal. And when one begins in the race, life is going to test him with everything. Life is going to ask him for more. Eventually it will ask him to become more. There are no shortcuts, only lessons in life. You must demand life and it will give it to you. You must seek and then you will find.

When the going gets tough never stop moving forward. That is the time one must bear the cross and he must cross Jordan so he get the Promised Land.

So once again, heart within and God overhead be a hero in the strife.

Be decisive- 5 steps to be more decisive

There are many times in life you have to choose. Whether you are simply shopping for your laptop or clothing. It is quite mind boggling sometimes to choose. Some people even get confused in choosing their life partners ;-) Then they regret it big time.
First one needs to understand why being decisive is very important. If a person is not quick with decisions he is prone to change frequently. This will affect his/her life in a big way. His goal will simply be a meandering wish and their won’t be a definite goal or a plan which are vital for success.
“It is the moment of decision that your destiny is shaped.
                                                                                                   - Anthony Robbins
     [image error]
1) Believe
First of all one should believe in himself or herself. Without faith there can’t be any chance of being decisive. He will always doubt and will keep changing his decisions.
     2) Be Brave
Whatever happens be brave. If Lincoln wasn’t decisive and stubborn on his decisions he would never have become legendary.
     3) Deadlines:
Desperate times call for desperate measures. So set deadlines and take decisions promptly. Otherwise you will chase after wind.
     4) Think on paper
Many times to clearly see where you are going or in decision taking , write it down on a paper and you will have a clear mind to make a decision.
5)4 D’s stand for Do itDelegate itDefer itDump it.  This is an awesome method to improve decisiveness.

These are some of the steps to take to be really decisive- do it now!

:procrastination- exam stress :=)

Procrastination is the thief of time- but I insist it is the thief of life. Tomorrow I got a exam, and I haven’t touched my book. For six months I have read something from that book. But I am horrified by the exam. Why? Because I am guilty, I am guilty of wasting two days thinking of doing all the great things in the future. But I have forgotten the importance of today and what is today all about.

is false hope and rationalising of the mind that I will able to write the question by simply my previous knowledge and by the ability to make up stories. A horrid mistake I presume, however this I realised: Nothing is lost, there is still time and if I really want to make a difference I can start from now and do my exam well. This is a positive mental attitude; this attitude will help me to accomplish my goals. But this enthusiasm will only work if I have a perfect plan. So bye folks I am going to study and this blog to simply to motivate myself into writing a blog post every single day even if it is a single word. Wish me luck

100 books..BBC big read

I know this is relatively a old list, but one can always use a list to begin reading. I am on a quest to read these books and review them, not scholarly review though. What’s so great about it? That is the question I will try to answer. If anyone is interested in reviewing any of the books then you can always contact me. I will be happy to put your review here.

I also love self-help literature so along with this list I would be including another best books in self-help soon.
