Winter Nights
WINTER NIGHTS
I still have fear in soul
About this person
Who is of my own blood
In anger did he scold
I was so heart broken
But now he lies in bed
My heart understands his love.
As the days pass
I feel lonely and lost
My winter nights should pass
My anguish must die.
I should see him again
With wealth and health
As before in past
My mighty dad should come alive.
I pray and wish
God with bliss
Shower his grace
That he may walk again
With his head held high.
he cares, but do you?-a freestyle poem- Ronald Hadrian

When I was so gone and troubled,
you took me back.
You gave a promise to protect me,
And you did that well
But I left like a fool…
Roamed the world, got caught up in sin…
then realized my daddy’s call…
I imagined the good things in my past life
the love and care of him was so pure,
but I flirted with the world and it burnt my heart
But now I come back, weeping.
I am a failure I thought, but he came and hugged me.
Amen..my heart was so new… he still cared…
but now it is my turn to care…
he is more than life to me…

7-The words and writers who changed the world.- Ben Jonson
In small proportions we just beauties see;
And in short measures life may perfect be.
Ben Jonson was one of the most illustrious men of the Elizabethan theatre. He was born in London a month after the death of his mother impoverished. Circumstances forced Jonson to enter the bricklayer’s trade, which he soon abandoned to join English soldiers who were aiding Dutch Protestants in their rebellion against their Spanish( and Catholic) rulers.
Jonson was a complex character, combative and ribald, a drinker and a brawler, who showed himself, in his poetry, to be capable of delicacy and restraint.
His Famous Works
OH, that joy so soon should waste!
Or so sweet a bliss
As a kiss
Might not forever last!
So sugared, so melting, so soft, so delicious!
The dew that lies on roses
When morn herself discloses,
Is not so precious.
Oh, rather than I would it smother,
Were I to taste such another,
It should be my wishing
That I might die kissing.

TRANSFORM YOUR INNER CRITIC INTO AN INNER COACH
Most of us are critics. Though you might not be a professional literary, music, movie critic, you just might be a critic of yourself. We always speak to ourselves, though you might be unconscious to this fact, you really do speak to yourselves all the time, and what exactly do you talk about. Of course, you should and shouldn’t all over yourself. We are all born critics.
1)WORRIED HIMSELF TO DEATH
Nick Sitzman was an healthy man, and once in work he was left behind, locked in a freezer. He knew he wouldn’t survive, because the freezer would go way below zero. Sitzman started to account his last minute thoughts. He began to imagine, that temperature was slowly dropping below zero and in the morning they found out about Nick Sitzman death. But ironically the freezer was not switched on, but Nick worried himself to death, and so we understand how terrible and powerful the thought of a person is
2)YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS AFFECT YOUR BODY
As we can see from the Nick Sitzman incident, it is true that negative thoughts affect the body. When a person is always whining and telling to himself that he is not feeling well, will actually not feel well. As the mind thinks so does the body perform.
3)TALK TO YOURSELF LIKE A WINNER
Without doubt it is imperative that one should talk like a winner to be a winner. Simple as that. That’s why Zig Ziglar says to look into the mirror every day and say, “I _________(name) am a happy, hardworking, competent, handsome, positive …….” Saying this over and over again will change the thought patter and we automatically start acting and talking like a winner.

6-The words and writers who changed the world.- John Donne
[image error]Never send to know for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.
John Donne is the most famous of the so-called metaphysical poets, a term coined by Samuel Johnson to describe a group of poets including Andrew Marvell and George Herbert. These early seventeenth-century poets were known for their witty and elaborate metaphors, which employ startling images drawn from unexpected sources such as law and science.
His Famous works:
The Sun Rising
Busy old fool, unruly sun,
Why dost thou thus,
Through windows, and through curtains call on us?
Must to thy motions lovers’ seasons run?
Saucy pedantic wretch, go chide
Late school boys and sour prentices,
Go tell court huntsmen that the king will ride,
Call country ants to harvest offices,
Love, all alike, no season knows nor clime,
Nor hours, days, months, which are the rags of time.
Thy beams, so reverend and strong
Why shouldst thou think?
I could eclipse and cloud them with a wink,
But that I would not lose her sight so long;
If her eyes have not blinded thine,
Look, and tomorrow late, tell me,
Whether both th’ Indias of spice and mine
Be where thou leftst them, or lie here with me.
Ask for those kings whom thou saw’st yesterday,
And thou shalt hear, All here in one bed lay.
She’s all states, and all princes, I,
Nothing else is.
Princes do but play us; compared to this,
All honor’s mimic, all wealth alchemy.
Thou, sun, art half as happy as we,
In that the world’s contracted thus.
Thine age asks ease, and since thy duties be
To warm the world, that’s done in warming us.
Shine here to us, and thou art everywhere;
This bed thy center is, these walls, thy sphere.A lecture upon the shadow
Stand still, and I will read to thee
A lecture, love, in love’s philosophy.
These three hours that we have spent,
Walking here, two shadows went
Along with us, which we ourselves produc’d.
But, now the sun is just above our head,
We do those shadows tread,
And to brave clearness all things are reduc’d.
So whilst our infant loves did grow,
Disguises did, and shadows, flow
From us, and our cares; but now ’tis not so.
That love has not attain’d the high’st degree,
Which is still diligent lest others see.
Except our loves at this noon stay,
We shall new shadows make the other way.
As the first were made to blind
Others, these which come behind
Will work upon ourselves, and blind our eyes.
If our loves faint, and westwardly decline,
To me thou, falsely, thine,
And I to thee mine actions shall disguise.
The morning shadows wear away,
But these grow longer all the day;
But oh, love’s day is short, if love decay.
Love is a growing, or full constant light,
And his first minute, after noon, is night.

Fahrenheit 145- A short review
Ray Bradbury’s masterpiece is certainly a compelling read. T[image error]he story is simple. It is about an American society in the future that burns books and whosoever is in possession of books will be in great trouble. The protagonist Guy Montag is a fireman who burns all the books, but he meets a girl who is peculiar because she notices things like the growing of grass and the moon, while others sit in their homes watching TV from dawn to dusk or listen to a radio station. Montag with curiosity and with perpetual unhappiness he decides to steal a book. And from then on he is on constant run, as the other officer Beatty comes to his house to burn his house and to arrest him. He gets help from Professor Faber, but in the end a mechanical dog is set to track him, but he somehow crosses the river and meets some outlaws(these are professor’s by the way) who have memorized many books. But sadly there is a war and the town is destroyed. It is a dystopian novel. Enjoyed the book anyway.
Themes(Wikipedia)
There are two major themes of this novel: resistance to conformity and control of individuals via technology and mass media. Bradbury explores how the government is able to use mass media to influence society and suppress individualism through book burning. In addition, the characters Beatty and Faber point out the American population is also to blame. Due to their constant desire for a simplistic, positive image, books must be suppressed. Beatty blames the minority groups, who would take offense to published works that displayed them in an unfavorable light. Faber, went further to state that the American population simply stopped reading on their own. He notes that the book burnings themselves became a form of entertainment to the general public.
Predictions of future
Flat TV,and Iphone earbuds , and ATM machines – these have become reality.
Enjoy the read!

3 ways to Clean your messes!
[image error] “Decide-> Plan-> Start-> Continue-> Finish-> Complete”
This is the cycle by which we can complete a job. Everything starts with deciding, planning, and starting, continuing, finishing and completing. To clean the mess’s one should certainly go through the entire plan.
1) FAILING TO COMPLETE ROBS YOU OF VALUABLE ATTENTION UNITS
If we don’t complete some of the things we ought to complete then we find ourselves in a troubled situation. Just think about, when we start a job we are energetic but when we are confronted with other pressing matters we don’t complete our old job. This saps the energy and it certainly robs us of our valuable attention.
2) GET INTO COMPLETION CONSCIOUSNESS
Just think if we can complete the job that we have started we will surely feel great. So finishing tasks again and again will surely create the completion consciousness. So make it a habit to complete your tasks.
3) MAKING SPACE FOR SOMETHING NEW
If we don’t complete our old tasks then we cannot make space for something new. So always follow the steps and complete the job. Clean your desk, finish of all the old projects and start a fresh. This week make it a point to complete and start with the new job.
TWENTY-FIVE WAYS TO COMPLETE BEFORE
MOVING FORWARD( Success Principles, Jack Canfield)

or to you)

6. Haphazard or disorganized tax records
7. Checkbook not balanced or accounts that should be closed
8. “Junk drawers” full of unusable items
9. Missing or broken tools
10. An attic filled with unused items
11. A car trunk or backseat full of trash
12. Incomplete car maintenance
13. A disorganized basement filled with discarded items
14. Credenza packed with completed or unrealized projects
15. Filing left undone
16. Computer files not backed up or data needing to be converted
for storage
17. Desk surface cluttered or disorganized
18. Family pictures never put into an album
19. Mending, ironing, or other piles of items to repair or discard
20. Deferred household maintenance

22. People you need to forgive
23. Time not spent with people you’ve been meaning to spend
time with

Gratitude
[image error]
I sat qu ietly wondering why my life wasn’t working. It was a terrible thought. Fear gripped me and I was very uncomfortable. I have tried m
Most of all I figured out, we will be far happier if we lived just for the day than worrying about the future. And of course if one chooses to be really happy in life, he or she should certainly be full of gratitude.any things but without any great success. Read many self-development books, but they used to temporarily inspire me, but they did not change me in a profound way. Of course the future is dismal and sad, and I needed some hope for the future. So I gave myself permission to simply sit down and ponder about my life. And then I recognized, life is more than just financial security. Nothing is permanent in this world, and we are not going to lose anything in this life, so there is no point in not trying something.
The wind, the birds, the food, the clothing and shelter are something of a gift actually. So this week be grateful for everything and live for only one day.

Mother- A poem
You looked and you encouraged me,
You touched and you healed,
You kissed and you soothed,
You cared and you molded,
You achieved and you inspired,
You spoke and you motivated,
You smiled and you rewarded,
You lived and you gave life.
The depth in your eyes shows me love,
The courage in your hands shows me that you will do anything for me,
The warmth in your touch tells me I will be with you forever
The quality in your voice shows me the care that you have.
The knowledge in your speech makes me grow up.
Thank you for everything that you give me, O sweet Mother.
