Success Leaves Clues
No matter what you plan to do or dream to do someone has already done it. So what should you do, you must plan learn from them and as Anthony Robbins says, “success leaves clues.” You can learn all the things from books, manuals, audio and video programs.
1) Who’s already done what you want to do?
This is the question you want to keep asking yourself if you want to reach greater heights. If you want to become a millionaire read about millionaires and the books by them. If you want to learn about relationship, please read books about relationship.
For almost anything you want to do you can read about it, or get information from the internet.
2) Why people Don’t Seek out clues.
First, they might not know this. They might have never got the idea about asking others for help.
- They are afraid of asking for help
- They are not used to the idea
3) Seek out clues
-Seek out a teacher to help you out
-Read books about the things you want to achieve
-Ask someone if you can follow them for some time to learn their skills.

I ain’t a Chicken, I am an Eagle!
Today is Sunday, so I didn’t want to sit and research and write an article. Instead I thought to write about some special people I have met in my life. Well this will follow every Sundays I suppose.
To begin with, I had spent three years in a weird, God forsaken college. I despised the college, but I decided not to be miserable but to take initiative. I was from a convent, so studying English was not much of a problem for me. I assumed everyone taking the course will be like me, but sadly this is not the case. (Yes this is the college I have ironically portrayed in my novel.) My classmates came from poor families and villages. They just choose to study English to become teachers. But this is a sad fact. Those who choose Literature are considered dumb, and utterly hopeless. Even the college, after filling up all the others courses with the top scoring students send the miserable ones to English. It is really pathetic. They think studying English is a silly thing and those students who pursue English do not have analytical reasoning or aptitude. Another misconception of English or any other language for that matter is to label it just as the understanding of stories. This is so not true. We are all stories by the way. To study mankind, we need to study man, that’s why stories are so important.
Anyway, I am not going to defend the greatness of Literature. Perhaps some other time, for now I want to simply tell about this person. You see, my classmates had this big problem. They were not appreciated, they were constantly nagged and they were told that they will never amount to anything. I was shocked by the negative comments of the teachers. A teacher was supposed to build them up, not curse them and label them as useless. However, I decided to do something about the situation. I went up to the HOD and asked her permission to give a small pep talk every day. I knew she will never agree, but ironically accepted. That was the time I was beginning to read Self-help literature, so to learn more and apply the principles, I needn’t to teach somebody and this was a perfect opportunity for me.
So I was up for the challenge, I began to motivate them. I said you guys are the best; you can do anything in Life. I slowly began to influence them. And you won’t believe what happened. These melancholy, inactive folks suddenly became proactive. They began to do well in class. I became a very good friend to them.
That was when I understood the power of appreciation. People are ever hungry for it. Sometimes I think we have lost our human touch. Sometimes we are too mechanical. We are afraid to say how we feel. Then they all openly came and told me their stories. Some will make you cry and some stories you won’t believe. But you are the judge.
These stories are the ones I am going to share with you. But you cannot expect a plotline or something; they are just pure feeling that you need to experience. So today I am going to tell about Anbujothi.
Anbujothi was a Pentecostal Christian. She did not wear jewelry of any kind, and certainly she was the most silent student in the class. However, her silence was often misunderstood as a sign of shyness. But that was a very big misunderstanding indeed.
Jeba, a fat boy loved to chat and irritate others. He had decided to irritate Jothi on a particular morning he had called her and said: “Hey how is your sister, can you give this rose to your sister.” Anbujothi face went red. She stared at him and began to bellow. “ You can talk to me as a friend. But giving my sister roses I cannot allow that…”
That was the day everyone knew Anbujothi though silent and petite was not to be taken for granted. Jothi had lost her dad when she was really young. She had two sisters and four brothers. The loss of her father had greatly disturbed her. Once her father had fought with her mother and gone out of the house. The young girl was devastated. “When her dad returned she asked, “Dad why did you leave me?” and he replied. ‘Oh, will I ever go away from you darling.” But he was gone. He was gone to a place he could never return from. Jothi still remembers her dad, and she is protective of her sisters, but most of all she is full of love and she believes that a loved one never really leaves the world.
If you can relate to her feelings or have any comments, please do comment. Really appreciate it if you share this blog. And you can get my novel to have a good laugh and that book is about these people. Until next week take care.
3 Things about people.
1) In my observation of some people, I have come to understand that everyone is looking for success. This is true. Some people hope to get something for nothing, and others simply enjoy the dream and the possibility of success. When others succeed they feel a small feeling of being helpless and useless.
2) Some people play the power game to win; they do not care for someone’s feeling. They want success at all costs.
3) The want to be significant is something embedded in every one. And some try to fulfil and others fail miserably.
( this is not an exhaustive list, but rather some observations without any scientific back up.)

Perspective’s makes the difference:
Everyone is afraid of something- maybe it is pursing the dream or the fear of failure.
In simple words, it is all about perspective.
The Story from the Bible is brilliant in describing this point.
David and Goliath.
David- a shepherd boy who didn’t have any former experience in battle.
Goliath- A warrior, who was bred for war, and he thought he could never be defeated by a ruddy looking fellow.
David- had faith
Goliath- arrogance
David- knew he will win and didn’t bother about his weapons.
Goliath- trusted his weapons more than himself.
David- he saw that he couldn’t miss Goliath
Goliath- He just miscalculated David’s size and strength.
Finally, it is a matter of Perspective.

Hollow Man- a poem
He was a hollow man, a hollow man
A book lay open beside him, yes, the hollow man
He closed his eyes and listened to his heart,
Hoping he would hear life, within his hollow self
Lust, greed, self-righteous his virtue, this hollow man
Guilty, guilty grumbled his hollow heart
Friends, family, why even angels couldn’t help
His hollowness.
He hid himself in his hollowness, his screams would echo now and then.
Why, why? I tell you this because he is a hollow man,
And hollow man’s deeds are echoed eternally.
Try to save him- fool! Fool! Hollow man saving another hollow man,
Oh what a joke!

Christopher Marlowe
Come Live with me and be my love
Marlowe is one of the most suggestive figures of the English Renaissance, and the greatest of Shakespeare’s predecessors. The glory of the Elizabethan drama dates form his Tamburlaine, wherein the whole restless temper of the age finds expression.
His Works:
Faustus, the second play, is one of the best of Marlowe’s works. The story is that of a scholar who longs for infinite knowledge and who turns from Theology, Philosophy, Medicine, and Law, the four sciences of the time, to study of magic, much as a child might turn from jewels to tinsel and coloured paper. In order to learn magic he sells himself to the devil, on condition that he shall have twenty four years of absolute power and knowledge. The play is the story of those twenty-four years.
His other famous play is the Jew of Malta: It is a study of wealth which centres about Barabas, a terrible old money lender, strongly suggestive of Shylock in The Merchant of Venice.
“The Passionate Shepherd to His Love,” is the only lyric poem Christopher Marlowe ever wrote, but it remains one of the most enduring poems in English literature. Its cheerful tone has little common with the rest of his work, which is generally violent and tragic.

4 reasons why you shouldn’t be paranoid about success.
Every negative event contains within it the seed
of an equal or greater benefit.
NAPOLEON HILL
We are all prone to this. We all think that someone is against our success. We think others are out there to sabotage our dreams. This is simply a false impression. It is called fear. That is the reason we are afraid to dream more and do more. We simply think the universe is plotting against us. But there are some ways to break it.
1) HOW DO I USE THIS EXPERIENCE TO MY ADVANTAGE?
This is the most powerful question that you can ask to get rid of paranoia. W. C Clement the author of Success thorough a Positive Mental attitude was considered as an inverse paranoid. He thought everyone in the world was plotting to do him good. What an attitude! If we think that we can really become successful, all the negativity in the world cannot stop us.
2) LOOK FOR THE OPPORTUNITY IN EVERYTHING
This might look like a common thing, but how many of them do this. Even in the worst situations one must look for the good in life. This is not easy. But sometimes blessings come in disguise. We might be vexed about losing our job, but in fact we can use the opportunity to improve ourselves and get our dream job.
3) HE SAW THE OPPORTUNITY
Some people see opportunity that others don’t. The author of the chick
en soup series, Jack Canfield was met by his friend Mark Victor. As soon Jack told about the project, Mark wanted to join. He told Jack that he could be a great asset, and he could sell many books for him and he sold many books as well. ( Millions of course.) So look for opportunity every day and every time.
4) GOD MUST HAVE SOMETHING BETTER IN STORE
Sometimes all the things don’t go according to plan. Sometimes we won’t get the job we desire, or the relationship won’t work out. But always remember that we didn’t get that because there was something better in life. And even the bible says, all things work together for them to love God. Sometimes bad things happen for good reasons. So be up and doing and strive until you win.
